A 24mm lens isn't actually all that wide, and yet in this frame I was apparently able to capture all the way from Mount Sefton (at far left) through the Footstool (left of center) across the Hooker Valley to Aoraki-Mount Cook (at far right).

Aaron Jenkin viajó miles de kilómetros hasta el lugar más oscuro de la tierra para fotografiar el cielo nocturno
Aaron Jenkin es un fotógrafo de paisajes y del cielo nocturno originario de Cornualles, Inglaterra. Es conocido por sus impresionantes imágenes de la vía láctea y otras maravillas astronómicas. En una de sus aventuras, viajó a Nueva Zelanda para fotografiar el Parque Nacional Aoraki Mount Cook, que se considera uno de los lugares más oscuros de la tierra para la fotografía nocturna. Allí, logró capturar un espectacular video de la vía láctea sobre las montañas nevadas, que muestra el movimiento de las estrellas y la rotación de la tierra. Su trabajo ha sido destacado a nivel mundial.
