How would Yandere platonic Catherine of Aragorn react to see Reader (Henry’s 8 eldest daughter) holding baby Mary in her arms, saying “Don’t worry baby sister, your older sister will protect you from any dangers.” And she’s rocking Mary back and forth, so she won’t cry and starts singing a lullaby (Reader’s mother was singing the same lullaby, before she died). The same goes for Yandere platonic Anne Boleyn and Jayne Seymour and Henry 8 to see Reader holding baby Elizabeth and Edward rocking them back and forth, singing lullabies.
I think yandere platonic Henry’s 8 wives only wished that Reader would be their daughter. Also this sight would warm their hearts.
So how would Yandere platonic Henry 8, Catherine of Aragorn, Anne Boleyn and Jayne Seymour react to the scenario I wrote above? Can you describe their feelings and what would they do? Something tells me that Mary, Elizabeth and Edward would be obsessed with their older sister.
The Princess is King Henry's first child born to his precious first wife. She's the only Princess who doesn't mind being a girl. Henry has always been the perfect father to the Princess. In fact, Catherine is very happy and emotional at this sight. She's most likely supporting Princess Catherine every time she miscarried and lost a baby. That's why the Princess means a lot to Catherine. For Catherine, the Princess' consolation is the only support for her disappointment and sadness at not giving birth to a man. I think Anne Boleyn will treat the Princess better than Mary. At first it was because she was afraid of the King. However, as she loves the Princess in a short time, she tries to get along with her. When Anne gives birth to a daughter, she finds solace in the Princess. The only shelter of the mother during the miscarriages and baby losses is the Princess. It will likely prevent Princess Anne's execution. However, even if he cannot prevent it, he will protect Elizabeth. The princess will ensure that both Mary and Elizabeth have titles. Thanks to the princess, Mary will be able to see her mother. Mary and Elizabeth become very attached to the Princess after the loss of their mother. Jane loves the Princess very much. She dreams of having a daughter like a Princess. The Princess supports her until Jane gives birth. The princess takes on the role of mother for Edward after Jane dies. Mary, Elizabeth and Edward see the Princess as mother and older sister figures. I expect all three of them will be yandere. The assurance, support, love and attention they receive in their lives comes from the Princess. The Princess takes the place of their mother, who never existed in their lives. So it's not surprising that they developed unhealthy tendencies for the Princess.

Pov: Catherine of Aragon chooses you specifically to be her "Lady in Waiting"
Tumblr media
A/n: I went to see SIX [The US Tour Boleyn Cast] once, and now it's my new hyperfixation. You can kinda tell who my favorite queen is
It's very rare that the Six wives would 'propose' to a Lady in Waiting while touring. First of all, there's only four of you. Second, they're singing to compete for who had it worse with Henry VIII after all.
You were a part of that "Ladies in Waiting" Band, interacting with the Queens between shows was difficult for you, especially. To at least catch the attention of the Golden Queen: Catherine of Aragon.
But seeing how she was always bitter about her divorce with Henry VIII, you just kept your feelings to yourself
It wasn't like you were King Henry VIII's younger sister
You often like to be by your lonesome between shows. To practice even more before the evening show.
That was... Until Catherine of Aragon began joining you on your extra practice sessions.
You also helped her in any way you could with her solo No Way.
You slowly opened up to the idea of enjoying someone's company.
She would often be the one to bring the both of you lunch while you remain behind.
One day, you made the decision to go with her to a lunch outing.
You underestimated how fun it is to be around people. Catherine of Aragon showed that to you.
Right before the evening show, you began unraveling how you felt about her, to her face
"Every time I watch you, whether it was rehearsal or a show... I'm... I'm in awe. I see how your crown makes it look like it was made from the rays of the sun... My Lady, you are as beautiful as the first sunrise..."
Catherine got down on a knee and 'proposes'
"Will you be my 'Lady in Waiting'?"
She gives you a gold rose to place somewhere on your instrument or outfit
Aragon smiles smugly as she catches every glimpse of you wearing the gold rose with pride
Boleyn, Seymour, Cleves, Howard & Parr were surprised to see Catherine finally boasting about something that wasn't about her bitter resentment towards Henry.

Disgust...or is it intrigue?
TRIGGER WARNING, BLOOD AND SOME ACCIDENTAL HARM AND SELF HOMOPHOBIA FOR A BRIEF PERIOD!!!!
Catherine knew one thing in this new world and that would be that she still could not, for any reason, stand that good for nothing Boleyn girl. Deep down Catherine knew she shouldn’t be mad at her, but the truth was buried by so much hatred that she could do nothing to see it. Catherine had the perfect life. She was married to the king, had a beautiful daughter, and was well respected for her knowledge and love of the church. Her life couldn’t get better if it possibly tried, and so of course, it got worse. All the way from France comes this dark haired, doe eyed, baby faced young woman. She was to be a royal guest and treated with the utmost care. Anne Boleyn was a young, quick witted, spunky woman who dreamed of nothing but knowledge and power. She wanted to be respected and in charge and she knew the way to get it was to go to the top. So with much trial and error, Anne got what she wanted, no matter what Catherine did to try and stop her, and while one gained everything the other lost it all.
Centuries pass, the queens come back to life in modern day England, and now Catherine must deal with her worst nightmare all over again. To say Catherine hated Anne was an understatement. She hated everything about her, just the existence of Anne Boleyn made her upset. That sassy, loud mouthed, ball of wild untamed energy was on her shit list. How dare she walk around like she wasn’t the reason that Catherine and Henry split?! How dare she act unaffected with what she had done?! Catherine could not stand to be in the same room with her, let alone stand next to her to preform. No matter how hard she tried to get along with the other queens, successfully bonding with most of them, she would avoid Anne at all costs. She would look at the second queen and feel anger boil in her gut. A sickly feeling, that’s what it was.
She hated Anne for being able to take Henry. For being able to take her entire life and completely destroy it with no thought or regard for anyone else’s feelings. Anne was many things to many people: annoying, rude, abrasive, wickedly smart, charming, beautiful, the list goes on. Wait, beautiful? There was no way in the entirety of the great universe that Catherine would have actually thought that Anne was beautiful.  Because if she admitted any of these statements it would mean that in some way, deep down in her heart, she cared for that petulant girl and that just wouldn't do at all! Why would she say that Anne was beautiful? She had great bone structure sure, and her witty remarks were actually pretty funny but no way would Catherine openly admit this about Anne!
Quickly getting up from her chair in the living room, Catherine hurries to her room and slams the door. Leaning up against it, she takes deep breaths trying to calm her heart. Saying those words, accepting what they truly meant, was something Catherine couldn’t do. She had always loved Henry, in her mind they were the stars and the moon, never had there been someone so perfect for each other. Her heart was set on him from the moment she was placed near him. Her heart beat would speed up, a flush would cover her cheeks, her mind filled with things she wished to tell him. Now though, she was getting that tingly feeling again, and deep down she knew who it was about.
Slamming her hand on the wall, Catherine pushed away from the door and started to pace. She can’t understand the way she thinks about that dark haired brat, there isn’t a single excuse that makes up for these feelings about her! Catherine pressed her forehead against the floor length mirror on the wall, tears coming to her eyes. Looking at her reflection in the mirror, deep down she knew what these feelings were, why she had them. She knew the reason Anne came to the castle, why she picked Henry, it was a smart move she must admit. That was the worst part for Catherine, she understood what Anne was going through. It made her hatred for her lessen even more! She couldn’t hate a woman who didn’t want to be in a relationship but was forced too anyway!
The more she thought about Anne and what occurred during their time together, the more angry she got. Pacing around the room while trying to conceal her deeper feelings, Catherine was getting more and more upset. God was her most devoted love, her savior above all, and yet he was allowing his child to suffer? Hadn’t she done that enough with all that she had lost? This was all too much. Looking back at her reflection, she was truly disgusted. Seeing red, she threw her fist forward. She didn’t even realize she was doing it until she hit it hard enough to crack. Catherine jumped back startled. She had hit her fist so hard on the glass that it had shattered, shards and chunks falling around her feet. Shocked, she backed away only to stumble and become all dizzy. Red was spotting her vision and her floor as well. Looking down at her hand, she could see the blood starting to spill from a large gash on the side of her wrist. Inadvertently, Catherine had nicked a vein with a shard of glass. Blood was pouring from the wound. Finally allowing herself a release of emotions, she let out a scream and slowly stumbled to her knees. The shattering noise and her scream was enough to get the attention of the other queens who came running to her side.
Jane came in first, being the room closest to her, and gasped at the sight. She ran over to Catherine and used her shirt to put pressure on her hand. Anna and Kat were next, with Anna stopping in her tracks in the door blocking Kat from getting in. She told Kat to phone 911 and to go to her room in such a voice that Kat didn’t argue. Anna then went to the side of Catherine and started checking the rest of her arm for cuts and trying to get her to hold still. Finally, Anne came down from upstairs and almost threw up at the sight. She looked at the woman who hated her most in the world kneeling on the ground surrounded by her own blood with glass all around her. “I don’t want her..” Catherine croaked out. The hurt in Anne’s eyes wasn’t hidden. The other two queens looked at her with a sympathetic look and she quickly ran from the room in tears. They look down at Catherine who had curled in on herself, trying to absorb the pain. She was fading in and out of consciousness, still trying to speak. “To see.” She finally finished. She hadn’t wanted Anne to see her like this, she was embarrassed enough with Jane and Anna having to help her. “Sweetie, we are gonna take you to the hospital okay? You’re going to be fine, we just need to get you patched up okay?” Jane tries to keep her voice calm as possible. Catherine just nodded, trying to make here eyes stay focused. Slowly, as she hears the sirens, Catherine’s eyes close as she loses consciousness.
At the hospital, Catherine slowly wakes up and realized what happened. She feels so stupid for not paying attention to her own body movements. Her sole job in this world was to protect the others and here she was scaring them because she lost her cool. Looking around she sees the tear tracks on the faces of the other queens, who are all curled up in chairs around her bed. Catherine’s gut turns as she thinks of what she put them through and she realizes she needs to explain. Making a small movement to turn her body, the noise of the rustling of sheets awaking the others.
Jane is the first to react, getting up from her spot to quickly go to Catherine’s side. “Hello my little sunshine, it’s good to see you awake.” She says as she gently takes Catherine’s good hand in her own. “Wh-when can I go home?” She wheezes out, her throat having gone dry from being asleep for so long. “I’m not quite sure love, but I can go ask the doctor if you’d like?” Jane’s soft smile gives Catherine a small reprieve from the guilt she’s feeling as she nods her head gently. Jane goes to the other side of her bed and grabs a cup of water and brings it to Catherine. “I’ll be right back, I’m just gonna go talk to the nurses and doctor real quick and we will get it all settled.” She hands the cup to Catherine and places a gentle kiss on her forehead before heading out the door.
Cathy is the next one to speak, taking Jane’s place beside her godmother. “What happened Catherine? I walked in the house and no one was home, I got to see if you’re in your room, and the floor is covered in glass and blood. I hadn’t checked my phone because it was on silent, and I missed the first calls from the other queens telling me to get to the hospital.” Cathy’s eyes fill with tears as she looks down on the woman she considers her mother. “Mi pequeña amor, I am so incredibly sorry I scared you. I was upset, thinking in my room. I hadn’t realized that I was hitting the mirror that hard until it shattered under my touch. I truly never meant for this to happen my love. I’m sorry for scaring you so badly.” Catherine looks up at her godchild and fellow queen, letting her true emotions come through. With tears forming in her eyes she gently takes Cathy’s hand and hold it to her lips, giving her a tiny, soft kiss. “I can see you’re tired. I will hopefully be discharged soon and will be back home before you know it. Please go back to the house and get some rest. I know it will be hard to do but if anything happens we will notify you immediately. Take Kitty too, she shouldn’t be here, poor thing is probably a nervous wreck.” Cathy tries to argue but can see there’s no point in trying with the look in her chosen mother’s eyes. She sighs and nods her head, kissing Catherine’s cheek as she goes over to the chair she’s been sitting in to grab her purse. “Come on Kitty. When we get home maybe we can bake some brownies for Aragon to enjoy when she gets back?” Cathy offers a hopeful smile towards the young girl and let’s out a quick sigh of relief when she nods her head.
Kitty walks over to the bed, leans over it as she softly pulls Catherine into a hug. “Please come back really soon?” She looks into the oldest queen’s eyes as Catherine nods her head while it’s leant against her chest. “I will, love. Go on and make sure Cathy gets some sleep after the kitchen rendezvous you two are going to get up too.” She gives a gentle smile as Kitty laughs and goes over to the door where Cathy is waiting. Grabbing her hand the pair head out to the main lobby, headed for home.
“And then there were three.” Anna jokes as she slowly stands up, letting her stiff joints stretch out. “I am going to go with them to make sure they don’t set anything on fire. I will be glad when you are back at home.” Anna smiles as she gently squeezes Catherine’s good hand and heads out the door to follow the others. Catherine watches her leave with a small smile on her face. Turning her head, she looks to the side to see the last queen still in the room. Anne has curled herself into a ball and is looking at the floor, her eyes red and puffy. “Anne-“ she starts out. “I-I should go, you don’t want me to stay here.” Anne starts to unfold her body which she is sure is melded to the chair. “Anne, stay. Please?” Catherine’s voice is so soft Anne almost didn’t hear it. Standing stock still, the dark haired girl looks up to meet the older woman’s eyes. “Come here, come sit beside me.” Anne looks at her hesitantly before complying and sitting on the corner of Catherine’s bed. “I owe you a lot of explaining.” She starts to say, quickly covering the young woman’s mouth as she tries to comment. “No it’s true I do. I cannot excuse my behavior or label it something it isn’t and I’m sorry. I have definitely not been treating you fairly and for that I’m sorry.” Catherine hopes she is portraying as much emotions in her words as her heart felt. “You have every reason not to like me, I wouldn’t if the roles were reversed.” Anne says softly with a shrug, playing with the corner of the blanket to avoid eye contact.
Catherine’s heart breaks as she looks at the younger queen. She had been so rude and spiteful towards her, and yet hearing how she truly felt made her feel nothing but guilt and sadness. “Anne, I don’t hate you-“ she stops when the brunette looks at her with a non believing stare. “No let me explain. For a while yes, I was very upset at you. I had the perfect life, everything I ever wanted. But I also know where you were coming from. You didn’t make this choice, your father did. You wanted to be free to explore not to be locked down. After my anger settled, I realized you were just a lost young girl trying to make it in a foreign place. I never even gave you a chance. I will never be able to apologize enough for not thinking from your perspective until it was too late.” Catherine reaches out and gently puts her hand over Anne’s, trying to show how true her words were.
“I understood why you didn’t like me, I never felt like I didn’t deserve it. I wanted so much to be my own person and instead I just followed orders as a good daughter was supposed too. Turns out I was just never any good at following them.” Anne let’s put a quiet laugh and Catherine smiles at her softly. “I also need to admit something to you. I have been harsher on you lately and it hasn’t been for anything you’ve done. I have been in my head for a while about some feelings and thoughts I’ve been having and I’ve taken it out on you. I realize that it was wrong but it’s too late to try and go back and just be brave about it all.” Catherine looks at her hand which it still on the younger queen’s lap, gently placed on the pale hand of her counterpart. “Anne. I need to tell you something. And I will understand if this makes you hate me, I wouldn’t object to it in the slightest. Against all moral high grounds and standings within my relationship with God, I have realized something. I can’t help but feel a pull towards you. And I keep trying, I want it to stop, please know I do! But I just can’t stop the feelings whenever I’m around you. Your laugh, your smile, the way you always know how to brighten anyone’s mood, your thirst for knowledge astounds me. You stand up for what you believe in and you are so protective of the ones you love. I can’t help but want to look at you whenever you are near me because it seems like there’s just a light that surrounds you that’s so bright and pure. And I’m sorry. I know this is wrong, okay?! I know. And I just can’t keep this to myself anymore because I can’t keep hiding these emotions! I mean for Pete’s sake, this is why I’m in this damned bed!” Catherine was practically hysterical at this point, ranting her feelings towards the younger woman. She needed to get this out and she needed it out now. She knew this would be disastrous but she couldn’t even find it in herself to care anymore, she had so much pent up inside her. Trying to slow her breathing she looked up at the other queen, trying to gauge her reaction. Anne was sitting there, wide eyed, staring right back at her with her mouth hanging slightly open. “You- you have feelings for me? This happened because of me?” Her voice was so quiet Catherine could barely hear her. She nodded her head, ashamed of herself for feeling this way and ashamed at how this had all come to be. Looking down at her hands, Catherine kept her head down. “I just couldn’t take it anymore. It was so confusing and enraging and I just needed to make it stop…” she tried to explain her behavior but the reality was, there really wasn’t an explanation for it. She hears Anne getting ready to move, knowing that she was going to leave and never speak to her again. Catherine’s eyes clenched up as the tears she had been trying to hold back came through. Suddenly, she feels a crooked finger under her chin, tilting her face to meet the other queen’s.
“I have been having the same problem with you. Your entire being is so calming and protective, you’re like a security blanket around our home. Your kindness and willingness to do anything for the others proves this with everything you do, even if we don’t say anything. I knew from the moment I met you that you were something special, I just couldn’t find it in myself to ever tell you. I wasn’t going too actually, I was just going to let you hate me because I felt like I deserved it. I feel butterflies every time you walk into the room, your aura makes me feel safer than I’ve ever been.” Anne looks deep into her eyes as she says this, taking her other hand and gently wiping away the tears from Catherine’s eyes. The older queen looks into her eyes and smiles at her, a true bright smile that takes Anne’s breath away. “I would very much like to kiss you right now if you would let me.” She says looking back and forth between Anne’s lips and her eyes. The younger queen smiles and nods her head, tucking a stray hair behind her ear. They both start to lean in, so close to touching they could feel each other’s breath on the own lips. Before they could connect however, they hear familiar footsteps coming quickly towards their room.
Leaning away from each other quickly, they try to pretend as if nothing had happened as the door opened and in walks Jane. “Good news! The doctor said as long as we keep it bandaged and clean you’re clear to go home! Now I have a change of clothes for you and I figured you’d want to leave as soon as possible!” Jane is practically bursting with joy as she goes to her chair and grabs the small bag she had Cathy bring with her when she came. “Thank you Jane, truly. I don’t know what would have happened if you and Anna didn’t act so quickly.” Catherine smiles at her and grabs the bag from Jane’s outstretched hand. “Let me change real quick and we can sign the papers and head home.” Getting off the bed, she takes the bag to the bathroom attached to her room and quickly changes into comfier clothes. “Alright, I’m ready to go. I must confess I am very drained and would love to go home to some tea and a good night’s sleep.” Catherine gathers her belongings while the others help her get ready to leave. Heading to the receptionist, they quickly get the papers signed and given back to the nurse, who smiles kindly at them as they head towards the exit. Walking the short walk to the car, Jane leads the way with Anne and Catherine walking slower behind her.
Catherine slowly extends her hand, hoping the other queen will take it. She gives her a big grin when Anne takes her hand and the walk silently towards the car. This, this feels good. This feels right. If loving Anne felt like this all the time, then how could it possibly be that bad? Once settled in the car and on the way home, Catherine feels like she can finally breathe. A deep, full chested, wonderfully free breath. Turning her head to look at her emerald lover, she smiles, a true smile, and leans her head on her shoulder. Anne places a gentle peck on the crown of her head and she knows this is what it felt like to be home.
@blizabeth-elount i told you I had a fanfic for you, oh about a year ago, maybe two at this point. Well, i finally got back to it and i am finished. Here is Aargon/Boleyn in a angsty love story.

Drunken confessions
also on AO3
__________________________
Catalina was trying to enjoy her night out with Jane. (her best friend and long time crush.)
But no. Some idiots had to ruin it.
Jane had gone to the bathroom twenty minutes ago and she was yet to come back. At this point Catalina had started to get a bit worried about the blonde. Normally The blonde was trustworthy alone anytime, she knew how to keep herself safe, but when drunk it was a different story.
Catalina got up and went to go look for her. Right as she started approaching the bathroom. Two wasted guys were talking to Jane, One was buying her a bunch of drinks, and the other was grabbing her wrists while she was trying to get away. The blonde tried to yell for help, but her voice got lost to the noisiness of the bar.
Catalina rushed to her friend's help.
“Hey,” She yelled at the guys, “Get off of her,” Lina Grabbed the guy who was grabbing Jane and kicked him in the stomach. The guy doubled over in pain so Catalina pulled Jane away from him while she had the chance.
“Stay the fuck away from us!” She screamed, turning around and leading a very drunk Jane out the door.
Jane swayed while she walked, “Linaaa, those guys were scaryy,” she slurred, hugging Catalina, Jane’s eyes began to well up “And they gave me a LOT to drink. I don't feel good.”
Catalina looked at the blonde woman, sympathy in her eyes, “I’m sorry mi amor, I should have come to look for you sooner,” She said, putting her arm around Jane.
“It wasn’t your fault, Those bastards were being BAD.” Jane responded, pulling a very flustered Catalina closer to her.
Catalina chuckled, “Yes, they were being very ba–”
“You’re really pretty. Ya know that?” Jane smiled, leaning against Catalina.
“I– you– you think I’m pretty?” Catalina stuttered.
“Ya, You’re fuckin gourgous. Now are we gonna uber home? Why are we walking?”
“Jane we live a block away, I don’t think we need an uber driver to drive us that far, I would hate to waste their time.”
“You’re also like, suuuuuuper nice. I think that's why I love you,” Jane slurred out.
“You–you love…me?” Catalina’s eyes widened, but Jane meant it in a platonic way, right? “You mean like as a friend right?”
“No silly, I love, love you. Like people do when they get married!” Jane said, still a huge grin on her face.
Catalina tried to convince herself it wasn’t happening, not that she didn’t want it to be happening, but Jane was drunk, people say stupid things when they’re drunk.
“Linaa, do you like girls?” Jane questioned, seeing the flustered look on the Spaniard's face.
“Yes I like girls Jane, I’m a lesbian remember? We’ve discussed this.”
“Cool. I like girls too, but also guys ya know? I’m Biisexuaal!” She said drunkenly.
Catalina laughed, almost forgetting to stop at their house, “We’re here,” She said to Jane, guiding her up the steps onto the porch.
“Ya. But really, I do love you Lina, In a gayyy wayyy,” Jane spoke, starting to laugh at the way her crush blushed.
“Tell me that when you’re sober, Jane.” Lina said unlocking the door, “huh, guess no one else is home yet.”
“No, I won’t,” Jane replied.
“Uh-huh and why is that?” Catalina asked.
“Cause when I’m sober I’m too afraid. I don’t like me when I’m sober.” Jane said, walking into the house.
Lina sped up to catch Jane as she started to fall over, “Why is that love?”
“Well I’m too scared to say things I wanna say that's why I do it now. And also I cry a lot and get nervous and I think people don’t like me. But like when I drink it's all finee.”
“Really?” Catalina had never realized how insecure Jane really was.
“Ya. Also when I’m with you.”
“When you’re with me what?”
“I feel safe. And you make me happy and not sad.” Jane said, leaning against Catalina again.
“I do?” The first queen questioned one more.
“Yea. Cause normally I think people don’t think I’m strong like you and the rest of the queens, but you make me feel strong and really good.” The blonde waited a moment and then added, “Can you carry me up the stairs Lina, pleeaasee?”
Catalina stood there for a moment, blinking, then she replied, “Sure,” and scooped Jane into her arms.
When the two reached Jane’s bedroom, Lina laid Jane down on her bed.
“Now change and get to sleep, we stayed out late tonight,” Catalina looked at the clock, which read 1:34 am. “Goodnight Jane, sleep well.”
“Wait,” Jane called, “Pleaseee stay? You can sleep with me!”
Catalina stood there, wide eyed.
“Not like that, Ya nasty!” Jane laughed, throwing a pillow at her, which Lina threw right back.
“Okay, but I need to change first.”
“Kayy,” Jane responded as Lina walked back to her own room.
When both girls had changed, they laid down in Jane’s bed.
“Jane, are you sure you’re comfortable like this?” Lina questioned, her arms wrapped around the shorter woman’s waist.
“Yea, are  you?” Jane responded.
“Yes I jus– hey is that the picture you took of us before that one roller coaster?” She asked, pointing to the picture, framed on Jane’s nightstand.
“Yea cause sometimes when you’re busy or somethin’ and I’m upset it calms me down cause it's you and me and we were super happy then.” Jane said, then added, “M'kay goodnight Lina.”
Catalina smiled, “Goodnight Jane.”
____________
The next day, Jane woke up first.
She rolled to her side, about to get out of bed, then she realized that Lina was in the bed with her.
As she stood up, the past night’s event’s replayed in her mind. Some idiots had gotten her drunk while she was out with Lina.
“Lina!” Jane whisper-yelled. Oh lord. Oh dear lord. Jane had confessed everything to Lina the prior night. Her love for the Spaniard, how Lina’s presence was calming to her, how she secretly liked getting drunk, and how insecure she really was.
“No no no!” She muttered.
Jane ran downstairs, desperate to get away from Lina before she woke up.
When Jane got to the kitchen, Cathy and Anne were already downstairs.
“Morning Jane,” Cathy said, coffee in one hand, Anne’s hand in the other.
“Morning Cathy,” Jane replied
“So Jane,” Anne started “I saw that you and Lina–”
“ANNE!” Jane screamed, “Uh will you please see me in the other room,” She nodded towards the living room.
“Uh, sure,” was Anne’s response.
The two walked to the other room and sat down on the couch.
“Last night I went to a bar with Lina and I got drunk and on the way back I said a lot of really, really weird things that I shouldn’t have told her . also I convinced her to sleep in my bed with me, and I probably made her so, so uncomfortable. I confessed that I loved her and a lot of other, really, really weird things. Dear God she probably hates me now.” Jane spurted out. It was more word vomit than conversation, but Anne understood.
“Oh dear lord Jane, you, you really shot your shot with her didn’t ya?”
“Anne, this is not the time! My best friend hates me and she knows my secrets now!” Jane lectured.
Anne grew a confused look on her face, “So did Lina tell you she hates you? Or…”
“Well not exactly, she went along with everything last night, and when I got up she was still sleeping. But I know she will,” Jane replied.
“I mean you really don’t but–”
“Well I’m going to sneak into my room, grab clothes, change into them in the bathroom down here. Then, I’m going grocery shopping and after that I will be in my room until the show,” Jane said, standing up.
“Just TALK to her Jane!” Anne said, “I’ll go grocery shopping while you do.”
“No Anne. I can’t. I just can’t do it now.”
And with that she made her way to her room.
When Jane had finished changing, She quickly grabbed her keys, trying her best to remain unseen she–
“Hey Jane, can we talk?” Lina asked her after popping out of nowhere.
Jane stuttered “I uh–well I need– I can’t right now sorry.” She tried to push past the first queen but Lina grabbed her wrist
“Jane about last nigh–”
“Nope, nope nope,” Jane said, breaking out of the Spaniard's grasp.
She walked out of the door, leaving the first queen alone and confused.
____________
Jane had managed to avoid Lina all day. Now she had until after the show and she could go to sleep and temporarily forget about it.
Lina walked into the third queens dressing room, “Jane we need to talk about what happe–” but of course she had been cut off once more.
“Places everyone, places,” The stage manager called, her voice flooded the queens earpieces.
“Lina I swear after the show we can talk about it but right-”
“Fine but you have to promise,”
“I do,” Jane promised.
____________
When the queens got home, Lina brought Jane into her room.
“Jane we need to talk–”
“I know, I know, Jesus, that's all you’ve said to me for the last 12 hours!” Jane exclaimed.
“Well at least I tried to talk to you!” Lina retorted.
“Can we just not fight please? Look, I got drunk last night and said a bunch of stuff I didn’t mean to say, I’m not sure there’s anything more to talk about.” Jane explained, sitting down on Lina’s bed.
Finally Lina decided just to go for the big question “Jane, do you love me? In like, a gay way?”
Jane flushed red hearing the exact words she had said the previous night, “Well– I mean– I d– see uh–” She stopped stuttering when Lina started holding her hands. “To be honest, yes I am in love with you. In a gay way,” She could of ended it there, but then some word vomit came up, “I wanted to tell you sooner but I was afraid since you don’t feel the same way you would not want to be around me anymore because the last thing I want to do is lose you. And I’m sorry for avoiding you but I know that after all the other things I said I assume you would realize how dysfunctional I really am and yo–”
“–I’m gonna stop you right there love,” Lina interrupted, wiping away one of Jane’s tears, “ If you had told me you were in love with me, I would never have stopped talking to you. I love you too, and I understand that life can be rough sometimes, so I won’t judge you for anything else you said. You were actually quite cute when you were drunk.”
“Wait, you love me too?” Jane questioned, “So like, we’re in love?”
“Uh yea I guess,” Lina answered.
“So uh,” Jane mumbled something incoherent.
“What was that love?” Lina asked.
Another incoherent mumble.
“What are you saying?”
“So uh do you wanna be girlfriends?” Jane blurted, “I mean like we don’t need to tell everyone right away. And like of course we don't have to at all you don’t–”
“Yes.”
“What?”
Yes. I mean I’m not sure how I feel about telling everyone, I'm still not that comfortable with like, the media and stuff,” Lina responded.
“Okay same, so like, we could take it one step at a time?”
“Yea, Like maybe we could go to dinner, then walk on the beach on like Saturday?”
“Sounds perfect!” Jane beamed.
Lina hugged Jane, “So uh, can I– can I kiss you?”
“Yes!”

POV: Catherine of Aragon catches you Singing
Tumblr media
You were in the "Ladies in Waiting" band (Reader can pick any instrument they choose)
Not once did any of you sing. You always claimed you weren't a singer.
You actually were a singer. You were too modest to admit it to anyone.
But, the thought of wanting to at least sing just to sing had crossed your mind many times.
So one day during a time-gap between the shows, you took to the stage and began singing No Way: Aragon's solo
Aragon coincidentally walks into the wing of the stage and just so happens to catch you reaching that high C
"Oh! Muy bien! I never sought you out as a singer! And that articulation leading up to that note... Fantastique!"
"Because... I'm not?..."
She didn't believe you. At all.
You couldn't argue with her: because she was a queen for starters, but she also caught you red-handed being a singer
But for her to tell you that you were an exquisite singer, made you feel giddy.

Can you please write something where all the kids have been reincarnated and are at school. Mary gets asked out on a date by a really popular boy. When Mary tells Aragon that she’s going on a date, Aragon freaks out.
I love this idea!!
Teenagers
“Mary! My favorite big sister!” Elizabeth all but yelled as she approached Mary’s lunch table. “How are you doing on this fine, fine afternoon.”
Mary rolled her eyes at her sister as the young girl threw an arm over her shoulder. “Whatever you want, I’m not giving it to you Bo.”
Elizabeth gasped dramatically, her free hand clutching her heart. “How dare you think so low of me.” She accused the older girl. “But since you asked. I need-”
“Mary-” Patrick Warner approached the table, but stopped when he saw Elizabeth talking to her sister. “Shit sorry, did I interrupt?”
Mary shook her head ‘no’ and Elizabeth nodded her head ‘yes,’ confusing poor Patrick. “My idiot sister here was just shaking me down for money.” Mary eventually explained.
Elizabeth raised her hand. “I would be said idiot sister. Technically half sister. You’re cute, but not my type. Let me know if you have a hot sister.”
“Elizabeth Boleyn!” Mary chastised, pushing the younger girl slightly. “Don’t be rude!”
Exasperated with her sister, Mary turned to give her full attention to Patrick. Speaking of, quick side note on this Patrick guy: he’s the most popular guy around. Not only is he captain of the rugby team, he’s also been called the most attractive guy in school. Needless to say, anyone that is seen with Patrick, becomes the talk of the town, metaphorically speaking.
Which brings us back to this moment, where one Mary Aragon, a not so popular girl that is newly single after splitting with her messy ex girlfriend, is about to gain some instant notability.
“I was just thinking…” Patrick started nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. “What are you doing on Friday night?”
Elizabeth’s eyes went wide and she sat back, watching in amusement.
Mary froze for a second, but quickly came to the conclusion that there was no harm in hanging with the guy.
“Absolutely nothing.” She told him with a sweet smile.
“Cool, cool.” His confidence was obviously boosted. “Would you maybe want to go out with me on Friday night?”
Mary thought for a second, not wanting to just jump at the opportunity. After a few, excruciating for him, seconds, Mary gave him an answer. “I’d love to.”
“Alright, I’ll pick you up at six.” He grinned, waving goodby to the rest of the table before going back to his own.
As soon as he was gone, the table broke out into whispers of “oh my god” and “the Patrick just asked you out” and “Mary, you’re so lucky.”
Mary seemed pretty content with the interaction, feeding into her friends whispers. That was until she noticed her sister was still there.
“What do you want, Bo?” She asked the younger redhead.
Elizabeth was grinning ear to ear. “Nothing anymore.” She chuckled.
Mary sighed, ready to take anything her sister dished out. “Alright, out with it, what’s so funny?”
Elizabeth shrugged, barely holding herself together. “Your mom is going to kill you.”
Mary’s eyes widened. She totally forgot about her mom. Her mom was chill about her girlfriend, but because she was a girl. As far as the kids are concerned, the only man their moms can tolerate is Edward.
“Keep your mouth shut.” She warned the younger girl.
Elizabeth just continued to grin as she stood up and walked to her own table.
————
“Catherine guess what!” Elizabeth called out as the four kids came home from school.
Mary immediately smacked the back of her sister’s head, preparing for the lecture she was about to get.
Catherine met the children, confused as to why Elizabeth had called her.
“What is it Lizzie?” She asked expectantly, looking to each child in search of evidence of trouble.
Mary was terrified but she kept her composure, ready for her sister to expose her.
“I just wanted to tell you that today we learned about you in history class.” Lizzie smirked, glancing at Mary who glared back at her.
Catherine looked surprised, but not suspicious. “Tell me more.” She prompted Elizabeth.
Elizabeth walked with Catherine back to the living room, explaining her history lesson. Mary stayed behind, reviving from her mini heart attack.
The rest of the afternoon went the same. Lizzie would tease Mary, almost telling Catherine, but never would. Finally, Mary had had enough and decided to just rip the bandage off. At dinner. With everyone. Surely that would keep her mom calm.
“I have a date on Friday.” Mary suddenly announced, drawing all attention to her. Elizabeth’s jaw dropped, she didn’t think Mary would actually do it.
Catherine didn’t seem to react. “Oh yeah? Who’s the lucky girl?”
Mary swallowed thickly and looked up to the ceiling. “His name is Patrick.”
Catherine dropped her fork and looked up. “A boy?” She asked, her voice rising in pitch. See, in most families you would have difficulty with telling parents about same-sex attraction, but in this one it was much harder to be a girl attracted to a boy.
“You can’t see him.” Catherine demanded. “You cannot see a boy. You know what boys do.”
“He’s not like that.” Mary quickly defended the absent boy. “He’s actually kinda sweet.”
“And like super popular and he’s got great hair.” Elizabeth added. “I actually like him.”
Catherine shook her head. “No, I won’t allow it.” She told her daughter with conviction. “Boys are nothing but tricksters and I won’t let my baby be hurt by one.”
“I’m not you mom!” Mary shouted, exasperated. “And he’s not Henry!”
“How dare you speak that name.” Catherine chastised, standing from her chair. Mary stood as well, challenging her mother.
“Henry.” She said out of spite. “Henry Tudor. My father. Scum of the Earth. I will say what I like. I’m not afraid of him. And Patrick is the exact opposite.”
Catherine clenched her jaw. “You are not going out with this guy.”
“Yes I am.” Mary spoke with finality, storming off to her room.
The rest of the queens and the kids remained silent, unsure of what to make of the conversation.
Jane, ever the peacemaker, was the first to speak up. “Don’t you think you were a little hard on her?”
Catherine collapsed into her chair. “No, no I wasn’t. You know what a man is capable of.”
“I also have a son.” Jane said, glancing at Edward who was trying to make himself as small as possible. “We have a son.”
“Obviously I don’t mean Edward.” Catherine sighed. “He saw his father for what he was and is the exact opposite. Ed is the exception.”
“I don’t know, maybe this guy will be an exception too.” Kat added in. “And that’s coming from me, someone who knows all too well how awful men can be.”
“Kat is right, we won’t know until we try.” Jane told her wife, grabbing Catherine’s hand. “How about we meet the guy first and you can cast your verdict then.”
Catherine looked into her lover’s eyes, seeing the sincerity and letting it calm her anger. “Fine.” She mumbled. “But if he is off in anyway, I’m pulling the plug.”
————
An hour later, there was a knock on Mary’s door. Thinking it was Elizabeth trying to get into their shared room, Mary ignored it. Then the knock came again.
“Go away Bo!” Mary called out from her bed.
“It’s your mother.” Catherine told her from the other side, this time without a knock.
After a moment of hesitation, Mary sat up. “It’s open!”
Catherine came into the room, making sure to shut the door before she crossed the room and sat on Mary’s bed.
The mother and daughter sat in silence for a few seconds, Mary trying to figure out what else Catherine had to say and Catherine trying to figure out what to say.
“I’m sorry.” That’s what Catherine settled on and what she started with.
Mary was taken aback, but accepted the apology and urged Catherine to continue.
“I got scared. My experience and the experience of your other mother and your aunts with men has been…less than stellar. Hell, even your sister has been through a lot at the hands of men. I am terrified that you, my baby girl will fall into a similar trap.”
Mary felt her anger towards Catherine’s outburst fade away now that she understood the legitimate reason why she had been angry.
“Mama, I am so sorry about what you and the others went through, I am. And I am no stranger to mistreatment at the hands of a man, maybe just not to the same degree.” Mary told her mother softly. “But I would never, ever consider dating a man that I thought might do those things to someone.”
“I trust your judgment, but I cannot get passed my fear.” Catherine admitted to the teenager. “Let me meet him before the date, it will ease my worries.”
Mary nodded. “That’s understandable. I’m sorry I made you worry mama. I love you.”
Catherine pulled her daughter in for a hug. “I love you too sweet girl.”
Turns out Catherine loved Patrick. Unfortunately the couple did not last past two years, but the fact that it had happened eased the worries of not only Catherine, but all of the queens.

Fantasy Guide to Regents and Regencies
Tumblr media
A Regency is a period of time where another party rules of behalf of a monarch who is either too young, too ill or absent. A Regency can either be the monarch's own choice or a decision made for them on their behalf by a third part, usually government. Either way, a Regent is selected to act as temporary Head of State whilst the monarch is incapable of ruling.
Who can be a Regent?
Tumblr media
A Regent is an important office, even though its a temporary one. Regencies of child monarchs generally either go to the Consort, though there are all sorts of reasons why this can be blocked. Sometimes governments and kingdoms are uncomfortable with foreign consorts with uncertain allegiances ruling the kingdom or sometimes the government just doesn't approve on the basis that they doubt the Consort's skill set. Other candidates for Regencies are nearly always family members such as uncles, aunts, cousins and even children of the monarch (especially if they are absent from the country or ill). But a Regent doesn't have to be a royal. They could just be a noble elected to the position (Sir William Marshall) or even one that siezes power for themselves (Richard of York) or even a council made up of Regents, headed by a Lord Protector.
Who makes a Regent?
Tumblr media
As I mentioned before, monarchs can appoint the Regent that will replace them in certain cases. For instance, a monarch would chose the Regent if they were voluntarily leaving the country or they might designate a chosen Regent on their deathbed or just in case of emergency. But they wouldn't chose a Regent if they were ruled mentally incompetent. In those cases, the government would chose.
The Powers and Responsibilities of a Regent
Tumblr media
A Regent is the acting head of state but they are not the monarch. They do not have the right to wear crowns or have a coronation and are not granted the hall pass of divine right. A Regent is referred to as their own title, say for example Duke of X, Regent of Y or Prince Regent. They are merely there to fill in for the monarch. A Regent would meet with the government, make decisions with the approval by government and sign offical documents. In cases of an absent monarch, a Regent may need the approval of the monarch themselves. Regents of child monarchs would usually include their charges in the country's running, either as spectator or student. A Regent, being temporary Head of State, would also have the responsibility of ensuring a natural cessation of their power to their monarch when their term is over. Some regents are better than others at handing over power.
Notable Regents of History
George IV, Richard III, Anne of Austria, Katheryn Parr, Richard of York, Margaret of York, Katherine of Aragon, Catherine de Medici, Louise of Savoy, Phillippe duc de Orléans, Edward Seymour Duke of Somerset, Sir William Marshall, John Duke of Bedford, Humphrey Duke of Gloucestershire, John Dudley Duke of Northumberland.
