I got unnormal and Angry so under the cut it is

theres literally not much I can say cause I should keep this on the dl but they dont know. they dont know they have no idea they dont know the things that I do. all I can say is I am possibly the third highest Sam understander in the world. including his actor himself.

the only issues he gets of mine are sadism (which he already has) and aromanticism (which I mean…. this guys got major of romantic issues I had to)

(this is where it starts to derail) Sams done horrible things and he self justifies and rationalizes so much and its so sexy but also look me in the fucking eyes. Dream is not fucking undeserving. canonically Sam didnt ever touch Dream in prison anyway, he just allowed torture to occur but he did NOT starve him and he did NOT personally beat him. if ur gonna claim that I need you to look me in the eyes and explain to me that you understand that Dream kidnapped, isolated, and abused a teenager and drove him nearly to the point of suicide. he is not some uwuw tortured sweet angel. I love Dreams character so much but not because hes so tortured baby. but because hes a twisted and sick and obsessed individual. hes an excellent villain and hes so good at manipulation that all these stupid fans have fallen for it too despite the fact that he CONTINUOUSLY reinforces the fact that his character is evil to the bone and did not change and ounce from his imprisonment and is still just as obsessed with the abuse of a teenager. I know Im taking this too seriously and Im a huge villain enjoyer and if people were enjoying him for that I would be fine with it but these people literally act like exile doesnt exist when its one of THE most important arcs of the whole series. it takes up a whole fucking season like what were u doing during s2

and the abuse of Tommy that is mirrored and reinforced in Sam when hes in prison like AUUGGHHGHHH. YOU GUYYYS ARE STUPID THESE ARE INTENTIONAL PARALLELS. but people dont like or havent fucking seen Sams imprisonment/exile….2! and it makes me so angry. girl it literally spells everything out for you and was done like old style lore quick succession day after day streams

anyway back to Sam. raging over. literally fucked up men of all time. man has trauma up to here and only understands violence and love through violence and will always fall back into his abusers traps. he can never escape Dream hes literally carved into his skin and soul

the way this fandom either completely demonizes Sam and hates him for shit he didnt even fucking do (at least get it right!!!! hes done plenty of fucked up shit canonically!) or treats him like a uwu dad and smooths out all his intricacies and issues… fuck oooff. like my guy doesnt even care abt Tommy anymore. that self recognition and love and attempts to save Tommy like nobody ever saved him are GONE. Dream beat it all fucking out of him. he doubts exile now too like GOOODDDD hes so fucked in the head and so abused 💚 loyal hound always running back to his masters side 💚 governed by a short leash and a spiked collar, can never get too much of his own power because the second he does its turned on him tenfold

his refusal to kill Dream but killing R,anboo almost without hesitation to try and draw Dream back to prison GETTTTS ME. he cant kill Dream. he will inflict unspeakable violence on others but he cant personally lay a hand on Dream. most of my fics involve him hurting Dream to try and get back at him and realizing hes just falling into exactly what Dream wants for him, but the flavor of being unable to lay a hand against him is SO yummy. he can watch, he can allow torture to take place, but he cant have that responsibility, that weight on his shoulders. a good dog cannot bite the hand that feeds.

his own first death is SO GOOD. dying at Dreams hand after beginning to trust and believe in Dream again, falling once more until the lull of love and believing his lies and manipulation and Dream literally slamming it back in his face again that he will always hurt Sam and he will never change

Sams absence is so important to me but Im so sad he didnt have an important role until s3. I need to watch more of his s2 stuff to get a better picture of what I can work with there.

After all the hard work and care Dean had put into the Impala, after all the scolding John had spewed into his oldest sons mind about taking care of the family's longtime car, here she sat, many a time after the first when she crashed. Only now she was flipped the wrong way on the cruel pavement. Dean was trapped inside, still unconscious from the crash, but you? You had been thrown at least ten feet through the windshield.

Glass stuck unkindly in shattered shards throughout pieces of your body. Some embedded into your arm, and scratches now offended your once flawless skin with a few larger pieces still deep in your cheeks and road rash marking alongside such cuts and gashes. Other straggling much thicker shards of glass stuck to and fro on your body, your arms, legs, yet there was only one particular chunk had landed into one deadly area and pierced it heavily: your liver.

Every bone in your bleeding body wished to get up and check on Dean, knowing that this wound in particular was fatal and the chances of you surviving it were highly unlikely.

"Dean?" You croaked, voice hoarse and coated with blood.

Moments passed with no movement and no response from your brother. In the cold night you could see your ragged breath creating a cluster of steam forcefully showing itself as did the stream of tears rushing down your cheek to kiss the bloodied pavement. It was now you felt the urge to get up and run over to him more than ever, only you couldn't feel anything below your waist, which only pained you more and added to the flow of tears.

"Dammit Dean…" you grunted out in pain, still looking upon his unconscious body as you called out to him, knowing that the feeling of tiredness still swept throughout you and only continued to grow.

Adrenaline overtook the true feeling of pain and fear, not your own pain or your own fear from wounds, but the fear you would die not knowing if your brother was to live or not. The pain that you couldn't tell how much pain he was in, and that you couldn't take his pain as your own to ease his suffering.

With adrenaline running like a wild horse through your veins and weak shaking hands, you clutched the base of the glass stuck through your body, well aware that removing it created an even shorter time in the land of the living for you. Regardless of this, you still gripped it, cutting into your bleeding hands even more as a painful deep cry of pain pierced the silence in the world around you.

Taking but a few seconds to catch your breath, you turned back up to the stars and began to crawl as fast as injuries and pain would allow you to.

"You do not get to leave me," you cried on your journey, never stopping or breaking the gaze you had upon your brother. "not like this, not ever." A cough wrapped in blood came hurdling from your chapped bleeding lips, but you continued to drag your half dead body towards your brother.

It seems it took miles than feet to reach him. He was lying half on the roof in the inside of his once beautiful baby, still in a sitting position only his head crookedly pressed to the roof, legs half crushed by the weight of the dash pushing downward upon him and one of his hands broken and smothered. His face too was cut by shards of unruly glass just as yours was, only his cuts and scrapes weren’t nearly as bad or serious as yours.

"Big brother," you began, speaking with tears and sniffles, still coughing slightly with blood. "please open your annoying green eyes, and answer your baby sister, please." Even though you wept and pleaded for your brother to open his eyes, show any sign he was alive, you still got no response.

The trouble with death is you think you have time, all the time in the world. Yet it's the exact opposite. Time is against you, in every sense of the matter. People assume death to be cold, but it's just the body that feels that way. The soul is content near the end, warm and peaceful. It was so odd, when your body finally grows so weak you act as though you are to fall asleep, you look for anything in humanity to cling to, something to drag you into that final sleep. Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory, until it becomes a final moment.

So there you lay, head on the cool ground that only brought you comfort as your eyes studied your brother. For a moment you thought him dead, until his chest rose just a little. In this breath of his, in that deep breath that showed you he still lived, did you finally relax and take your last.

Dean's eyes opened as he gasped for air, instantly coughing at the smell that clogged the air and polluted it. The first thing he did was look to his right, seeing if you were in the car, but you watched as his eyes followed to where your body was thrown from the car, and the trail of blood that led to the driver side door where he found you turned on your back, eyes ghosted in his direction in a peaceful way.

"Hey! Wake up, you've gotta get up." He shouted in a raspy tone, trying to move towards you but couldn't find himself able to reach your body, just like you were unable to reach out to his.

He could see your attempt where you had tried to grab his hand, trying to hold it, but you were too short armed without him extending his reach also. So easily did he reach out, grunting once in pain from his side and then ignoring it as he took your hand in his.

"Hold on, okay? Cas will patch you up, you've just got to hold on." His words became more desperate, as though he knew he was talking to a corpse but refused to believe it.

"All I wanted was to make sure you'd make it." A painful half smile crossed your lips, accompanied by a single tear to guide your words as you softly spoke.

"And so you have." One familiar voice came up from behind you. "Forgive me, but when I heard it was you, I would consider it an honor to be the one to reap your soul." Death spoke calmly.

"Dean," you started, knowing he couldn't hear you but not paying mind to that. "This wasn't your fault, I swear that to you." Finally you turned to Death. "If I go with you, will you make sure this is it? No redo's on life. No coming back. No demon deals. I want to be gone for good. This is my first time dying, I intend for it to be my only and my last."

Death took no time in replying swiftly. "I can promise you that." He watched you look one last time upon your brother who was mourning for you. "Are you ready?"

"I just have one condition before I go off into the sunset." While your request wasn't one that required more time, or one final goodbye, it was one that he had no problem accommodating. All you wanted were three notes, three notes for three brave brothers.

A fallen angel, a nerdy giant, and the boy who would always carry some form of guilt in his heart.

Luna then whipped out her copy of the key to the front door and unlocked it.

“Huh, it’s unusually quiet in here,” Luna pointed out as she and Sam walked into the normally loud house.

“And clean too,” Sam added. “I’m not saying your house is messy— believe me, my house looks like a tornado hit it— but there’s not one toy in sight. Normally there’s a few toys laying on your floor, tables, and couches. But, hey, where’s your sibs and your ‘rents? I’d like to say hi to them real quick.”

Luna glanced around her living room and peered into her dining room. None of her siblings nor were her parents in sight. She stopped to listen to see if she could hear any of them talking from other rooms. There was only more silence.

“I don’t know,” Luna finally answered Sam. “My parents are probably at work, but my sibs should be home by now.”

Then all of the sudden, there was a loud, “Ding!”

“Dude, I think someone texted you,” Sam told Luna.

Luna then slipped her purple backpack off of her shoulders and unzipped the small front compartment that it had to retrieve her smartphone. She checked it to see that it was her eldest sister, Lori. “I decided to take all of our sisters to the mall when we got home from school. I also dropped Lincoln off at the arcade so he could play some video games with Clyde. Also mom and dad r both working until late 2nite. We’re going to be at the mall for a while and Lincoln and Clyde will be at the arcade for a while since I gave Lincoln enough money to buy 200 tokens so it’s just going to be u and Sam for a while today ;)” the text read.

“Ok. Thanks for covering that for me, sis :)” Luna texted back.

“Np! I’d do anything to help my siblings get together with their crush! No go get your girl! :)”

A faint blush came over Luna’s face and she quickly put her phone down.

“So, who was it?” Sam asked. “And what did they say?”

“It was my sister, Lori. She just told me that both of my parents are working until late tonight, that she and my sisters will be hanging at the mall for a while, and that Lincoln is at the arcade with his friend and he’s going to be there for a pretty long time,” Luna told Sam. “So are you cool if it’s just the two of us today?”

Sam started to twirl again, igniting fireworks within Luna’s stomach, and then smiled. “Yeah, totally, mate! No offense to your fam, but I really only ever come here to hang and jam with you.”

Luna chuckled. “Yeah, I figured that. Kinda a no-brainer. You are my friend after all.”

Sam’s smile diminished a bit. “But, yeah, I’m sure my ‘rents wouldn’t mind this either. We’re both old enough to be alone together. Plus, my ‘rents really dig you. They really trust you.”

Luna smiled. “Wow, that makes me feel really good, brah. Tell ‘em I said thanks.”

“Yeah, no problem, Lunes. I’ll let ‘em know that you said that.”

“But you have no idea how much my family digs you. They’re really glad that we became close when you moved to Royal Woods when were were in 8th grade.”

A really big grin came over Sam’s face. “Aw, dude!”

Suddenly, there was another, “Ding!”

Luna quickly glanced down at her phone to see that she had received another text. This time, it was from Lola. “Remember the signal! And don’t eve think about chickening out! Do u really let all of us down? U would be letting Sam down too and even urself!” It read.

“She’s right,” Luna thought to herself. “I gotta stop being such a scaredy-cat.”

Luna quickly put her phone back down and looked back into Sam’s eyes. Those beautiful, ocean-blue eyes. Luna felt like she could get lost in them and swim in them for all of eternity.

“And I’m really glad about that too,” Luna admitted, confidently, with a smile.

Sam smiled as she twirled her hair once more. “Aw, thanks, Lunes,” she beamed as she put a hand on Luna’s shoulder. “I’m really glad that we became close too. You’re an awesome chick.”

With the fact that Sam’s hand was on her shoulder and that she had just given her such a sweet compliment, Luna was now visibly blushing. “Aw, thanks, Sammy. I honestly have no idea what I would do if we had never met.”

Sam giggled. “Me neither, Lunes.” She then removed her hand from Luna’s shoulder. “Now, whataya say we try out that new amp of yours? I’ve been dying to see it.”

“O-ok.” Luna then started to lead Sam up to her room. “It’s totally rad!”

A faint smile came across Sam’s face as she and Luna began to climb up the stairs. “Just like you?”

Luna chuckled, not knowing how else to respond. Then it came to her. She turned around and looked at Sam right in those ocean-blue eyes of hers and smiled. “No, just like you.”

Sam gave her hair a little twirl. “No, just like us.”

YESSSSSSSS Aizawa and Mic are high school friends so I’m pretty sure it’s canon they waste time together, Blood King and Dog Hound are canon pals too so they also most probs chill together too! Blood King is also the same age as Aizawa and Mic so they probs used to go to school together too!!! And with Dog Hound being 32, Midnight being 31 and Cementoss and Thirteen being 28 they’re more or less all the same age, so I like to think they spend free time together~ some scenes with the teachers make me think they’re good pals with the older ones too, it’s a really fun group of people to be honest!

Yes she is!!!!! I like to think Jirou’s got at least basic knowledge for how to play any instrument ever, so when she’s laying around in the common room once she got used to her friends listening to her play she’d bring with herself the smaller and easier ones to carry! An ukulele has a super nice sound and is small enough to bring around the dorms haha

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I think I already answered this question? At some point? But I can’t find it, so in general my take is that I highly doubt Bakugou’s body isn’t built to withstand and not take damage from his own quirk (since his hands are made to hold up with it, I feel like the rest of his body is tailored around his quirk too), but I’m always up for disabled characters and the idea of Bakugou signing is beautiful to me, so I don’t mind the AU one bit! Dunno if I’ll ever draw for it tho, drawing jsl when I don’t know it is hard. I know that from experience.

That said, I do find the fics in which Bakugou becomes deaf because of his quirk a bit hard to believe most of the times? Because in all of them his ears are the only things taking damage for the continuous use of his quirk and I just sit here like, his eyes should be taking damage too. Normal eyes aren’t made to withstand explosions and stun grenades every day all day, so if his ears aren’t biologically made to hold against his quirk his eyes shouldn’t be either.

Like, I read those fics and I find them real hard to believe because the authors aren’t pushing it hard enough, for me it’s either no damage at all or hoh AND visually impaired Bakugou, boy can’t be only half built to withstand his quirk that’d just be silly haha but that’s probably just me, the AU is Good 👍

Do you remember your first time watching or reading Fullmetal Alchemist? What was your first impression? I watched it just this past December (i know, i know) and the second episode made me cry. I proceeded to scream about it to Robyn for the next week and a half. At first I was like “this is kinda weird but it’s cool,” and then by episode 19 I was like “this is the best thing I’ve ever watched and I can’t believe I didn’t listen when my ex tried to make me watch it three years ago.”

Tell us about The Fave™. Do you mean my queen Riza Hawkeye? *deep breath* I...I just...I love her so much. Her strength of character, her commitment to making the world a better place, her realistic attitude, her motherly attitude towards the kids. She’s such a good goddamn person and it physically pains me to know how much blood she has on her hands and how it eats away at her soul. She is so kind and gentle in spite of all the things she’s been through, all the unforeseen and unintended consequences of her choices. Christ, this girl permanently wore one of the most dangerous secrets in the world on her back by the time she was ~16/17. She grew up lonely and estranged from her relatives, had to care for a rapidly deteriorating father, had to find her own path after he died, entrusted her tattoo to Roy in hopes of helping him achieve his dreams (an incredibly serious decision for someone so young), joined the military hoping to make a positive difference, was sent to the front lines of a war by the time she was ~20 to participate in a mass genocide, had to live with the fact that she killed hundreds with her sniper rifle and thousands more indirectly because she gave the deadliest alchemy in the world to a dog of the military. She had to live with all of this pain and suffering that the world forced upon her and she still chose to be by Roy’s side as he made the climb to the top, protecting his back and ensuring that he remained virtuous. She still chose to work every day to make the world a better place. When everything she went through showed her that the world was an ugly, unforgiving place, she chose to make it better instead of laying down and accepting the abuse. I cannot find words to express how much I love and respect Riza Hawkeye. She’s honestly such an inspiring person and if I could have an ounce of the backbone that she possesses, I would feel accomplished.

Do you have a favorite fan work? Fanfics? Comics? Oh god fucking Here Dead We Lie by mebh will haunt me for the rest of my life and probably beyond the grave too. No other work of fiction I’ve read has come close to how badly that fanfic fucked me up. I love anything super angsty, especially with Royai. God I have way too many fics I loved to even begin to list them. I also love literally everything that the artists on here draw.. Everyone is so talented and I am so thankful and inspired. I don’t want to call out specific people because I don’t want anyone I forgot to mention feel bad so suffice to say I LOVE ALL OF THE ART AND FICS.

Hit me with an analysis/opinion you have on the series or characters! Ooh I have one criticism that still irks me! I love volume 15 of the manga, okay? Love it. I wish more than anything that Brotherhood had focused more on Ishval because holy shit that volume made me cry so many times. But Brotherhood did do something I like better than what Arakawa did in the manga, and that’s scattering a few of the scenes from V15 into other episodes of the anime. The scene that really sticks out to me is the one where Riza asks Roy to burn her back. It’s in Volume 15 of the manga but episode 54 of Brotherhood. The reason I prefer Brotherhood’s version is implied audience. Volume 15 is a flashback to Ishval as told by Riza, to Edward. That means that everything we read in that volume is assumed to have also been told to Edward. And I simply cannot believe, not even for a second, that Riza would have told Ed about her tattoo. She may be a realistic and honest person (ex. she told Ed and Al straight up about Shou/Nina Tucker being murdered, while Roy and Armstrong lied about Hughes), but the flame alchemy secret is highly confidential for many reasons, not the least of which it suggests a potential for fraternization. I just really cannot see a situation in which Riza would willingly tell anyone, most especially a volatile teenager, about the array on her back. Brotherhood excised that scene (where she asks Roy to burn her) and transplanted it into episode 54, where there is nobody else around except the viewer to bear witness to that intimate (and frankly, chilling) moment. Placing the scene there, right before That One Big Scene between her and Roy really drives home how deep and complicated their past together is and puts all these emotions fresh in the viewer’s mind, and if you ask me it made That One Big Scene all the more raw and devastatingly powerful.

Tell us about a project you have going on! Or if you don’t have one, maybe something you’ve always wanted to write or draw? Oh god. Well I’m trying to teach myself how to draw and it’s...well it’s stop and go, mostly. As far as writing goes, I have a few one-shots kicking around and I’m now playing with the idea of an AU where Envy impersonated Riza instead of Maria Ross when he murdered Hughes. I don’t know if I can commit to that, but talking with a few friends has really opened up some crazy possibilities. I’d certainly like to write a longfic for FMA but my life is kind of hectic right now.

Favorite opening/ending number and why? My favorite opener is easily Rain (season 5). Even before I knew the English translation, the colors and imagery of it coupled with the singing successfully made me feel unsettled and nervous. SID is an incredibly talented singer and the lyrics, even in Japanese, just give me chills every time. I remember saying to Robyn the first time I saw this opener that the little snippet of Roy spiraling down/Riza hugging Hayate and crying made me feel this overwhelming surge of dread. It’s a very visceral opener and sometimes I watch it on its own because I just like it so much.

Tell me about a scene that really touched you or made you realize something about yourself. One of the scenes that still gets me every time is in episode 5 when Al punches Ed and then grabs him by his shirtfront and gives him that speech: “Survival is the only way, Ed. Live on, learn more about alchemy. You can find a way to get our bodies back and help people like Nina. You can’t do that by dying! I won’t allow you to abandon the possibility of hope and choose a meaningless death!” It chokes me up every single time. I mean there are a bunch of scenes that make me feel things but I’ve talked so much about Roy and Riza that I thought I should give Ed and Al a chance. ;)

OTPs! Who are they? Why are you WEAK FOR THEM?? ROYAI FUCKING RUINED ALL OTHER PAIRINGS FOR ME. I am so weak for how much they love and support one another and god the tragedy of their circumstances. It’s just devastating and it makes me feel so many things. I am so weak. I honest to god don’t have any other OTPs in FMA that I care about as much as Royai. I’m not even joking when I say they r u i n e d other pairings for me.

What spurred you to join the fandom? My friend Maddy finally convinced me to watch the show (she was the fifth person to insist that I needed to see it and I finally caved) and then Robyn found out I had started watching it and asked me to talk to her about it as I watched and I sorta ended up in the fandom through her, which is honestly one of the greatest gifts anyone has ever given me. This fandom is absolutely incredible and I am very happy with the friends I’ve made in my short time here.

Definitely the same question… have a fandom meltdown here and tell me why you love your fandom or show/comic so much! I pretty much had like four meltdowns already in this post so I feel like anything more is like...really extra lmao. Although I noticed I baaarely talked about Roy in this and I just want to make it clear that I love Roy just as much as Riza. It was impossible for me to decide which of them to talk about for question number 2 and I ended up flipping a coin.
