Help! Does anyone have a lead on replacement faces to fit this @estwingmfg dfh24 mallet? A friend borrowed it and abused the rubber faces (he’s offered to replace it). I bought this because it was good quality and made in America, and presumably the faces are replaceable. Estwing has stopped carrying the replacement faces, when I called customer support they told me that “since production moved to the USA their supplier doesn’t make extras” a second customer service agent told me that “ANSI doesn’t allow replaceable faces” which I know isn’t true. I can easily replace the whole mallet, but the handle and cast head are in like new condition and I’m appalled at the concept of throwing it away because @estwingmfg won’t stock $5 in rubber parts. Do any other brand faces fit these? Dear @givenchyofficial Somewhere in the end of July 2018, I went to #givenchysg at #Paragon to see if I can get my strap fixed as the claps was really loose. They told me that I would require to wait for a while before they ship in a new claps for me. I received a phone call on 1 Aug saying that my claps was here and I was quite shock on how fast my claps arrived. But when I reached there, they told me that they will do an adjustment for me. I was really cool and let them go ahead to do the adjustment. After adjusting it tightly the claps can't fit in so I have to go down together with your service staff to do another adjustment but this time, both claps broke... (👏for you on the quality you use) FYI, even the guy adjusting it was shock that it wasn't real metal after that I have to go back home without my strap. Hence, can't use my then favorite bag to work everyday. 11 Sep 2018, received a call saying that my strap it's ready . Woohoo right ??? Reached there the service staff ask for repair form which I did not receive it in the first place. Then she asked for my ID. So I gave her my driver's license then she said that need my IC. And I told her that my driver's license is an ID, no? Then she quietly go and make a copy of it. (FYI under PDPA I have all the right to not give you my IC ok) after that I told her to bring a bag for me to try to see if it's loose again. Then she replied if loose then come down again to fix it. And I told her why must make me come down again? I continue to ask why does it take so long for the strap to arrive and she explained in defence that today's phone call was a reminder call. And I told her that it's not a reminder call because this is the first call I received on the arrival. Then she flipped her book saying that she called on 21 Aug. I told her that I was in oversea and did not picked up the call, so how is today's call a reminder in the first place and she continued defending herself.
