If Daniel knows something and is so vocal about it, why would Helmut Marko say he is not close to Checo and Max yet? Like its the opposite reaction to what Horner and Daniel are saying. And from what I read Helmut actually likes Daniel and said they remained in contact the last few years and by his interviews he isnt quit fond of Checo most times, so why say the opposite to Christian about Daniels sim time?

ok interesting point!! i'm gonna say although helmut and christian seem to disagree with each other they don't necessarily contradict. here's why

reason #1: according to the On The Race Australian GP Review Podcast even within Redbull there "seems to be some disagreement as to who’s faster out of DR and Perez between different people/camps". so it's not out of ordinary at all that helmut and christian have disagreements on this subject too. but the fact that there had even been this kind of disagreements in the first place shows that daniel's pace can't have been far off checo's, if not matching. which brings me to my

reason #2: while helmut was talking about the numbers on paper, christian may be talking about trajectory. think about this. daniel has been out of a redbull for FOUR years. and while other drivers (checo) have been training non stop and watching their diet and alcohol intake meticulously etc, daniel has been like, having ALL kinds of fun around the world like the young rich eligible good looking 33 yo that he is. off the top of my head he has been doing talk shows and going to the met gala in ny. clubbing with scotty in vegas for like a week straight. filming with redbull's crew in LA. running around with scotty in uk and australia. attending the wedding in venice. going to race tracks somewhere in the us southwest. so on so forth. and again this is FOUR years after he was last in a red bull. imagine daniel turned up in milton keynes after a wild week with scotty in vegas and then immediately matched checo's pace in the sim. like. that's not realistic? what's realistic is that even if his sim times aren't completely matching checo's right now, he's been on such a positive trajectory that apparently 1. christian is saying "daniel is 10 minutes away from being race ready" 2. daniel wants to come back to this sport 3. it is apparently possible that daniel may be able to race for red bull next year that he's keeping this convo going in the interviews.

to sum up!!! even within rbr ppl from diff camps are having disagreements on who's faster between dr and sp, and even if daniel's sim pace isn't matching checo's (which it might still be bc we all know helmut marko isn't always the best source of info), his sim performances must've been on a strong trajectory

rachel — broadway. obviously. does NOT marry jesse but they do date again and perhaps even get engaged and they remain in weird toxic kinda gay love for the rest of their lives on the downlow. she ends up getting married at around 40 to someone else (if young rachel berry knew she wouldn't get married until FOURTY!!!). also on/off dates finn for many years. it is a much more dramatic deal to her than it is to him he's relatively chill about it albeit confused and passionate. she is characteristically a drama queen. ends up in nyc

finn — i do think he ends up an educator in the burbs like they actually were dead on w that one i don't think he'd do glee or anything but teacher fs. realizes he's bisexual at age 32 while married to a woman so it's a revelation that he can't really act on but it gives rachel an existential crisis when she hears abt it which is funny. part of this revelation does come from one of his students being gay and on the football team and finn having a troy bolton moment of realizing you can do both. ends up in a suburb of chicago

kurt  — stanley tucci in devil wears prada. also he expats in berlin for like a year or two. dates an accountant. ends up in nyc

mercedes — canon, absolute worldwide singing star. glee did very few things right when it came to mercedes but having her be a successful singer was correct. ends up w someone famous in their own right but in a Very different way than her like her fans do not know who that person is. ends up in LA

brittana — they don't stay together after high school but they do reconnect a little later after santana has a freakout crisis and drops out of school (canon) but instead of moving to ny and doing all that she moves to LA and ends up as the world's craziest talent agent. and britt runs a dispo and does goat yoga. end up in LA

blaine — okay the first thing you have to know about me is i am a blam truther forever and always. anyway blaine goes to nyu not nyada and most of that drama with kurt happens just to a much lesser extent cuz theyre not at school together so he does end up graduating, maybe takes a gap year in the middle tho. but also blaine starts getting really into local politics and after a few off off off bway roles that don't really lead to anything bigger and a lot of stressful fighting w kurt he decides actually he wants his new goal in life to be becoming a city council member. he and kurt still have the world's best most toxic insane person on/off relationship until theyre like 28 and then a blam romcom ensues. nyc til early/mid 30s, then he and sam move to the burbs (potentially in the state sam grew up in?) to raise a kid

sam — bumpy twisty turny road for him, feels like he should go to college/should want to go to college but does not want to go. wanders around lima for a year or two getting by and trying to find his #purpose and moves to nyc essentially on a whim after a phone call w blaine and is like hi i live in your house now. maybe the modeling thing for a bit? but less weird than in the show. some samcedes for a bit bc i am a fucking sucker for them <3 anyway eventually sam becomes a comix artist. he meets gerard way and doesnt know who he is and tina wants to throttle him about this. nyc til early/mid 30s, then he and blaine move to the burbs (potentially in the state sam grew up in?) to raise a kid

quinn — academia (english) or law. the only ppl she has talked to from hs since graduation are cedes and brittana and she is so happy to not give a single shit about anyone else. i love you quinn go get lesbian married and write a book. i can't get into the one (1) time rachel and quinn see each other post canon cuz that would be a whole other post but trust me i have many thoughts on that. ends up somewhere almost rural in the northeast but not Too far from a city if that makes sense

mike — does the dance thing, i think probably hes on some tours which means blaine and sam have to put up with tina on the phone w him for hours giving him life updates like every single day (theyre not dating anymore obv but they are besties also there's like one year where blamtina are all living together i have an insane amount of headcanon lore dont worry abt it). gets married to the most normal person in the world and sometimes casually drops lore about highschool and his partner is like i dont think the midwest is a real place. ends up right outside of nyc

artie — director ofc. like mike ends up w someone in the same industry who is relatively normal but also like so obviously grew up in santa monica and was a child actor. ends up in LA

Qween Jean, a Black and Trans community leader was arrested at a PEACEFUL march for Trans Liberation on May 31st, 2023. AS SOON AS THEY GOT THERE there was lots of police and they arrested Qween Jean. I'm not sure if she's out yet as I can't find info on tht. On instagram it says to bail support at 7th precinct 191/2 Pitt St, New York, NY, 10002

This can't keep happening, there needs to be nationwide peaceful protests abt this!! Demonstrations need to be everywhere!!!! IT HAS BEEN 53 YEARS SINCE THE FIRST PRIDE PROTEST! If a police officer arrests u, know ur miranda rights and STAY SILENT AND BE CALM! They will use what they can to take it against u. You have to think a stairway ahead of them. They can't say anything if u don't say anything! And justice will be served so dw, God's with you. Also, yes u can say ur manners like thank you and excuse me.

You know what’s funny? I don’t know many New Yorkers (black, white, or other) who actually like Eric Adams. I certainly don’t, and I damn sure didn’t vote for him. Being the mayor of NY (the greatest city in the world) is probably the second hardest and most important job next to being POTUS. But, his approval ratings are the lowest I've ever seen!

He doesn’t have a clear vision or strong ideas for the city. All his policies does seem to be based on satisfying special and conservative interests (I mean, he was a fucking cop!)

He was accused of sexual assault and is under federal investigation due to his campaign spending and corruption.

He’s keen on gutting public programs, and making major cuts to schools, libraries, parks (all of which are historically the strength of our city) all to close budget gaps.

He seems to always side with landlords and real estate billionaires on every important issue.

There's a rise in stop-and-frisk policing, especially with cops and National Guards everywhere in the subway.

He claims to be guided by a voice of a 'God;' he even once claimed, “I know you don’t like to admit it, but I know you get on your knees and pray every night, ‘Thank God Eric is the mayor of our city.” 😒

He makes outrageous “racism” claims when pressed by citizens or the press with real legitimate and eloquent criticism. He even compared an old white lady to a slave owner when all she did was ask why the rent in NYC is so damn high, and he deflected with that nonsense:

When asked to describe NY in one word this fool said, "New York. This is where everyday you wake up, you could experience everything from a plane crashing into the World Trade Center, to a person who is celebrating a new business that's opened". WTF does that even mean?!?!?!?

Heya i really hope this isn't an annoying ask if so feel free to ignore it. I just like to discuss these things but i get scared ppl will attack me so yeah. Anyway, i know you said you are tired of this topic so i'm sorry if this annoys you. I don't find any harm in speculating things unless (like you said in a prev post) the person being discussed expresses that they are uncomfortable with it. As long as you're not harassing the person or labeling them yourself/spreading false info if they haven't 100% confirmed it, you're not doing anything "wrong" IMO. Ppl always try to make everything bad in some way. And I can agree with certain points to an extent because no it's not our business, but being curious is a normal thing. Especially when (like in this case) it's something very random and suspicious that the person shares publicly. It just annoys me how ppl will do one thing and then turn around and attack others for doing the same thing and then lie because they want to seem more "mature" or whatever u even want to call it. Finn is also a public figure and yes he deserves respect and privacy just like anyone else but a hard truth is that because he is a public figure ppl will talk. Ppl are nosy and the ppl with parasocial relationships who feel entitled to certain information is what leads to situations like kit connor, not very often it it the normal fans who are just curious bc they usually just get ignored (since they aren't obsessing over it and filling their comments with the question) if the person doesn't want to talk about it. That's why i say it's important to not dwell on these topics or fill their socials with the question. Ppl will let you know when they are ready to.

I'm not trying to compare finn and noah, I'm just trying to use this as an example (noah is someone close to him so he comes to mind first) but before noah came out publically he tried to drop "hints". Two I can think of are: Him dancing to birthday by Katy Perry, specifically the lyrics "Boy when you're with me, I'll give you a taste" and Welcome to NY by Taylor Swift, specifically the lyrics "And you can want who you want boys and boys and girls and girls" which caused discussion that he may be bi before he came out as gay officially. Another celeb that has done subtle things to come out is josh kiska of greta van fleet who created the rainbow flag on his insta with the lighting of his photos before deciding to actually say it and go wide with the news.

I'm NOT saying Finn was coming out cuz idk and you never truly know until they say so (if they choose to) because there can be coincidences or misunderstandings. Plus some ppl just don't like labels which is okay too! Like how kit conner would have remained unlabeled had the internet not harassed (key words: harassed) him into choosing a label because they tried to claim he was "queerbating" otherwise.

hi! yes, finn is a public figure, so naturally, what he does will be discussed by fans. i am also aware that many celebrities (or people in general) do actually hint at potentially queer things before coming out (though i was not aware of the noah example). finn also has many queer fans. which is why i've said that i understand why people are balking over this.

like i've stated in previous posts, there's a difference between thinking someone could be queer, and then invading into their lives and obsessing over it. on finn's end, many people (though they refuse to admit it) have thought he was possibly queer for a loooooong time. there are several reasons for this but i'm too lazy to analyze each one. and the hyperfixation on him being maybe bisexual does bleed into why the fandom reacted the way it did, or why they might have been so excited — or even, let's face it, why many fans want bisexual mike. (not saying all bi mike truthers are like this obviously).

my issue is more so on the hypocrisy the fandom is showing. they try to preface it with "speculating people's sexualities is bad!!!!" before, you know..... speculating his sexuality. it's annoying because they try to scramble for some moral high ground that doesn't exist, and it makes them look foolish. people should at least admit to themselves that they are indeed trying to figure out what his orientation is — because if they weren't, then the byler tag wouldn't have been fucking filled up with people freaking out that finn was secretly coming out. it's a burden off your shoulders if you stop trying to act morally superior. they only say those things because they fear being "canceled", so they lampshade ahead and try to insist that no, we're NOT trying to find out if finn is bi... but they are, and they should just own it lol.

at the end of the day we don't know finn, or what his sexuality is. we don't even know why he posted that snl skit in the first place. not knowing will always lead to people wondering, filling up the gaps. if people want to do that, they should at least be self-aware of what they are doing and not try to pretend they're "better than that".
