michael afton 🤝 wade wilson
essentially a living corpse/immortal, fucked up skin, shitty childhood, has/had a revenge mission, extremely traumatized, mentally unstable, loves watching tv, not american but lives in america
i think they’d get along. wade would be SO sad when he finds out michael can’t eat food. michael could actually talk to wade about everything he’s seen without being called crazy, and wade would definitely offer to hunt down william for him. also they’d bond over being Bad Skin buddies (they would actually have a lot of deep conversations about how they view themselves as monsters and can’t get close to people tho)

has anyone considered henry possessing glamrock freddy or am i being a little silly right now
#although for one of you the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole#so don't keep the devil waiting old friend#henry being glamrock freddy makes sense to me#“my friends are down here” william? william afton? old friend?#and if we consider the henry suicide robot thing canon#maybe just maybe#henry “survived” pizzaria simulator#reinstated fazbears as a corporate entity#hired the indie developer#idk where he would stand on the glitchtrap thing but he was shown to be a little silly in he books? maybe he thought afton was fully gone#and was trying to destroy the last parts of him that remained#he realized vanessa was being recruited by afton and set up the pizzaplex#he built the glamrocks? by contextual evidence it makes sense for michael to have built the glamrocks#given the glamrocks similarities to the funtimes including freddys stomach hatch (remember funtime freddy's stomach hatch?)#so if we're saying that michael built the glamrocks then michael wouldve had to have survived pizzaria simulator#which means somewhere along the line they fucked up#and considering that theres roughly 40 years between the bite of 83 and pizzaria simulator#that would mean that henry is like 70 when he burns down freddy fazbears pizza place?#i doubt any rickety ass 70 year old is going#like btw that was a badass line#but henry would be too old for that shit💀#so if we just take henrys suicide animatronic (named baby but probably meaning a baby version of charlie(the og book trilogy))#so what if he got remnant in him when he killed himself and therefore was stuck alive#so he and michael could have plausibly survived pizzasim because of the remnant they were trying to burn away#bc if remnant survived the fnaf3 fire why wouldnt it survive the pizzasim fire?#so saying that henry killed himself around 2000 leaves him at ~50 forever#he couldve also killed himself around 1996 after opening fnaf 2 closing fnaf 2 and reopening/reclosing fnaf 1#leaving him ~45 forever#doesnt matter the year it just matters that hes already dead before pizzaria simulator and after fnaf1 and fnaf2 events#not to mention with william dead around 1993 henry wouldve been the one managing circus baby's entertainment and rentals

ACTUAL PROOF MICHAEL AFTON SURVIVED PIZZERIA SIMULATOR!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
NOT CLICKBAIT!!!!
jk it actually wasn't clickbait, but here's some of the reasons I believe Michael survived FNAF 6!
#1- the footprints in security breach, to put it simply, Michael is literally the ONLY character that doesn't wear shoes (somebody at least give him socks tho, jeeze 😭)
Tumblr media
#2- Mafton in FNAF AR clearly referred back to Michael, who else would be using his email except for him?
Tumblr media
#3- "meeting with smith note" as in Fritz smith, one of the multiple fake names Michael was theorized to go under, mainly because of odor problems and him being a literal corpse lmao
Tumblr media
#4- the exotic butter references, need I say more?
Tumblr media
#5- the secret room LITERALLY being Michaels living room, or at least the one from SL that he was still in every night
Tumblr media
#6- in the first four nights that Michael would pass out if it got too hot in there, yet he didn't during the fire. Maybe he took that way out Henry had mentioned, leaving the player pov still at the desk? It happened with FNAF 3, how else did he survive that? He had to have escaped.
Tumblr media
#7- there are many more parallels between Glamrock Freddy and Henry than Glamrock Freddy and Michael. For instance, it was Henry setting the fires because he knew how to destroy remnant matching Freddy burning down the pizzaplex with a lighter finger in one ending, he actually had kids of his own matching Freddy's father like attitude, him and William were close friends at a time matching him and Glamrock Bonnie's close relationship, he is also more represented by bears than any other human character (despite Gabriel) so it would make sense for him to be Freddy instead of Michael.
Tumblr media
But that's just a theory lol
Extra little edit: sooo I dont remember where I heard this, someone in the notes said that it was in one of the retro CDs, but apparently there was a janitor in the pizzaplex who kept putting nice smelling flowers around, and bc of Mike's previous odor issue and getting fired because of it, maybe he was the janitor trying to cover up the smell with the flowers? Then again, may also not be him bc the FNAF AR email shows and the secret room and stuff shows that he was probably much higher up than just a janitor...

star wars by silm logic
for the silm-sw dual citizens:
I was wondering what would happen if star wars (particularly tbb bc that's the currently-releasing bit of star wars) adhered to silm logic:
Hunter is the local leader of a hidden city (Pabu)
Omega is the heir
Rex is the overall leader of a warring people (clone rebellion)
Hemlock is the local leader of a branch of the Forces of Evil
Palpatine is the overall Enemy
so therefore
Rex and Echo gather an army of escaped clones. They rescue Cody or Wolffe from the Empire. Song and fire are greatly involved.
Themes of rising hope are invoked as they make a stand against the Empire. The clone rebellion grows further.
They are initially victorious and manage to rescue the clone prisoners from Tantiss with few casualties. Hemlock is ousted and flees to the heart of the Empire (but his operation will return in time)
Echo goes to check on the Batch on Pabu and ask them to ally with him and Rex in the upcoming battle.
They march on Coruscant. Things suddenly go disastrously wrong. Cody is killed in battle. Rex faces Palpatine in single combat.
Rex dies tragically.
Eagles.
Echo tells Hunter about the battle. They are delayed on their way and attempt to ride to the rescue. The Batch arrives just after the deaths. Echo is sad.
Pabu is betrayed while the Batch is on Coruscant.
Pabu is invaded by the Empire. Hemlock subjugates the people into his weird clone experimentation program.
Dragons.
The Batch returns to destroyed/invaded Pabu and is unable to intervene.
While attempting to protect their city most of the Batch dies.
Echo is very sad.
Hunter is captured and killed in front of Omega.
Omega escapes and swears an Oath mourns the Batch.
Echo is broken by grief for the ghosts of his past and vanishes.
Omega later becomes a Rebellion leader, carrying the memories of the failed clone rebellion and the haven of Pabu with her.
Echo fades/dies on some random planet as the forgotten remnant of the GAR/Clone rebellion.

i dont really infodump in general at all but im doing it cus i need some ideas off my chest. do you freak with angst? perhaps an unhappy ending?
// sdr2 chapter 5+ending spoilers ig. also kuzuhina au baybee
so i had an idea of like. what if nagito DID actually bomb the island, taking everyone out alongside himself?
(edit: i did also write this entirely into a fic lol. just wanted to say the brainrot consumes.)
so when nagito finds out that he alongside all the other participants (aside from chiaki) are remnants of despair he just wants to end everything for good bc he doesnt think the ones he called "symbols of hope" deserved to live. so bombs are spread all around the islands forreal this time, and hes still just as vague and ominous, never really specified how many bombs there were, what island it was on, and left it up to the survivors to try and figure it out. so they'd all been searching for days, but to no avail, and at the very last moment when fuyuhiko finds them at the military base (nagito had just freshly died + placed them on the truck), he drags the others there to check it out. once nagito's video message to them ends, the bombs go off alongside a chain of other explosions across every island. the remaining survivors ran out of the factory, barely on time, and everything started crumbling around them, and all the others were downed one by one, crushed underneath falling structures with no time to be saved
but somehow haj and fuyu survived (who were farther away and had more time to react), the others dying right in front of their own eyes. but they ran away, retreating to the warehouse immediately. and hajime just takes a minute to crumble in fuyuhikos arms wishing he couldve saved them. until they hear music echoing in the warehouse. they walk down, and past a curtain, they find nagitos body with a spear through his head. (the fire/poison didnt go off btw, it wasnt really necessary in his plan.)
im sure u can imagine hajime was fucking raging at that point just breaking down and stressing out, how mad he was at nagito for running away like this and inflicting all this pain onto everyone, and monokuma let him do it since yknow, technically he couldnt punish him for a crime he hadnt committed yet, and all this happened in a matter of minutes. but fuyuhiko snaps him out of his panic for a second and knocks something through hajimes head, and the realization hits; it’s just them now. they’re the only ones left
and neither of them know what to do
but their first thought was to get out of this factory as fast as possible, so thats the first thing they do, navigating through the fire and leaving the entire fifth island, and hope that maybe they can find a way out of here, or ask monokuma or monomi for help (since the island is in shambles, they must have to let them go right?), so they wander around, hoping maybe then something would happen, but there wasn't any sight of monokuma or monomi. the fire kept on spreading, the smoke was getting worse, so fuyuhiko and hajime eventually retreat back at the military base (one of the few places untouched by the bombs) so they could catch their breath, collect their thoughts, and make a plan (or hopefully monokuma would come to them, if they stay in one place.)
they just kinda sit inside of a garage for a while, talk a little and comfort eachother through it, hajime is crushed by guilt and horror, but he realizes they wont accomplish anything just by sitting here. and if he couldnt save the others, he can save him and fuyuhiko. so haj leaves fuyuhiko in the garage with determination to think of something to get them off this island somehow. he looks for ways of escape, like the helicopter outside, but no fuel. he looks for materials or tools for a boat, but the island had been extremely lacking in that, everything was either burned or missing by now, so even their most plausible idea was destroyed. when hajime returns to the garage in a panic, pacing around, fuyuhiko realizes they arent getting off this island. they cant wait here forever. but hes known this for a while, and he knows what he has to do now
eventually, he hands hajime a pistol(acquired from the truck of firearms outside), and asks him to kill him so it could finally be over
obviously hajime refuses at first, but fuyuhiko begs him, because he isn’t a good person and he doesn’t have much else to live for, while hajime has singlehandedly saved everyones asses, he deserved to escape more than anyone else here, he basically tells him 'its time you take care of yourself.' by now, hajime was crying, but they’ve been at this dead end for so long, he knew he had to do it or else they’d never be getting off this island. so hajime just had to accept it, so he just holds him close, says his final goodbyes before making it quick for him
pulling that trigger hurt him more than anything, knowing he'd failed to the end, but anyway boom monokuma comes out congratulating him, ends the simulation, and hajime is the winner
also postgame babey; when things end here, hajime would wake up from the simulation, and since he never got to choose his own future alongside everyone else, he wakes up as izuru kamukura, inside the abandoned pod room. he's not entirely empty i think, izuru and hajime still would have "merged" afterwards, but his memories of the simulation are very fuzzy very quickly, so hajime is somewhere in there, mourning, justi n the deepest parts of his mind. but thats a whole thing to get into. the survivors, fuyuhiko, and everything that happened, are just kind of like a vague nightmare that sticks with you no matter how much you try to forget it
but he just leaves the pod room, and lurks around the city without any other purpose to serve anymore, all alone. the future foundation hasnt found him since
uhh i did kind of expand on it for fun ? like after izuru wins the game he brings back fuyuhiko from the pod but eh, its more of an alternative/"you decide if its canon/make your own interpretation" ending. i just wanted to worldbuild and bring more angst through that route.

Is there anything Different about dead like me AU Mikey from normal Mikey? Like is his scooping different because everything is all supernatural?
A little! So in this universe, Mike is a reanimate. Basically it's like a cousin to a ghost in that a person died and came back but instead of being all spirity, they instead came back to their actual body for one reason or another. They are most commonly what get referred to as 'zombies' or 'ghouls' even if mosts don't crave human flesh, though most will have some sort of rot somewhere on them and have small white dots either for eyes or in their eyes. It's sort of a spectrum, just like ghosts are. However, unlike ghosts, they retain their human memories and aren't as controlled by their emotions. They're a step closer to the living but still have one foot in the grave so to speak.
There's usually a reason for why the person came back such as remnant for Mike but could also be bc of something like necromancy or other magic. While they sort of possess their body, they are able to bascially add stuff to it/ change their form. For example, when William dies, he comes back and not only does he still inhabit his body, but the springbonnie suit is now a part of him too and will feel like such. Same with Mike, the remnants of Ennard are still in him and because of that, they now are him. While this ability can have some drawbacks at times (like the fact the thing that killed him is literally now a part of him) it does have its bright sides! Like the fact it makes it easy to replace those rotting limbs. Either with reattaching old one when it falls off or something completely new!
Also, their main weakness is fire. Most other stuff they can come back from/ just find parts to replace what was lost but fire is the one thing that will destroy them. Once it destroys the last piece of the thing they are inhabiting, that's it.
Otherwise, apart from now being this supernatural creature, the scooping happens like normal and Mike wakes up on the sidewalk all the same. Before that, he was a perfect normal, if a little tramautized, human. The scooping happened basically bc his ghost sister didn't quite remember who he was and was basically running on the emotion of desperation to just get out of where she was.

Relative Dating Part Twenty One
Previous Part | Masterlist | Next Part
Pairing: Indiana Jones x Reader
Rating: M
Notes: Welcome back to the latest garbage fire! Hope y’all are doing well. Chapter's on the shorter side this week, soz.
Also the Arabic phrase used in this chapter was translated by google, so I apologize if it’s inaccurate.
Warnings: Cursing; period-typical sexism; period-typical expectations of women; angst; friendly reminder that the artifact mentioned is a fake one
Summary: You follow the host away from your table, considering your options, and how you can possibly tell Walter that you’ll only be there for a few more days. But then…How did Walter know what hotel you’d been in?
Tumblr media
“You need some more coffee over there?”
You glare at Jones over your water glass as you draw in a greedy gulp.
“Eventually,” You grit out once you’ve swallowed.
“Seem a little tired.”
“I didn’t sleep well.”
“Oh no? That’s too bad.”
You narrow your eyes at Indiana, watching him burst the yolk of a sunny side up egg with a piece of toast.
“Did you?” You press.
“Sleep well? Sure,” He smiles. “Like a baby.”
You could slap him. You won’t, but you could. You avert your eyes, glancing around the café for any sign of Sallah. He’s fifteen minutes late meeting the two of you, which is unlike him. You turn in your seat a touch, trying to see whether or not Sallah may be on his way in, or speaking with the seating host. That’s when your gaze catches on someone that you’ve seen lingering around you and Indiana since you arrived in Amarna. The sight of the young man out of the corner of your eyes that raises your hackles. You recognize him immediately, and perhaps that’s what makes it worse. But—Perhaps it’s a mere coincidence.
“What is it?” Indiana asks, and you realize how distracted you must seem.
“Hm? Oh, nothing,” You turn back and shake your head, offering him a fleeting smile. He doesn’t seem to trust it, and you think he may lean into curiosity, but before he can, you ask, “What was on those pages?”
“What pages?”
“The ones torn out of your notebook.”
Indiana’s lips press into a thin, irritated smile at the reminder.
“Notes.”
“...On?” You press. Indiana casts his eyes at the other patrons in the restaurant before he leans in a little, lowering his voice.
“You know—About Akhenaten, Amarna, all of it.”
“Of course.”
“Then you know that the Golden Aten was taken from Akhenaten’s tomb after the temple walls were destroyed.” Indiana waits for you to confirm, and goes on when you give him a small nod:
“I found the remnants of a letter from Cicero during my last excursion in Rome, regarding one of the ‘treasures’ that Cleopatra had brought during her visit. He wrote about a ‘golden orb’,” Indiana props his elbows up on the table, holding his hands about a foot apart, “With a circumference of about a foot. It’s said to have blinded at least three people when the sun caught it at the wrong angle.”
“Unfortunate that none of them were Cicero.”
Indiana smiles, lowering his hands. “After Julius Caesar was assassinated and Cleopatra left Rome, a group of Roman dignitaries combed through where she had stayed. They found a number of things left behind, including the orb. Now, a lot of the Senate wanted to destroy it, but Octavian was determined to keep hold of it, and use it as a weapon in the offensive against Egypt. It arrived back in Egypt in 30 BC, and was said to have taken down twelve of the ships in Egypt’s fleet. But, the ship that it was on went down, too. There was no mention of the Aten for hundreds of years.”
“Until?”
“A revival of Akhenaten’s followers claimed to have found it during a Nile’s low season, in April of 1856. They claimed to try and restore the orb to its rightful place, but lost it. They’ve been trying to restore it ever since.”
“I didn’t know people still believed in him.”
“A band of them do. It’s a small group, but they’re committed. They call themselves the Alartifae Althaani Akhenaten.”
“The second rise of Akhenaten,” You murmur to yourself, lowering your eyes to your plate. “I think they may’ve been the ones that took those pages,” Jones adds. “I had leads.”
“Leads that you encoded in hieroglyphs.”
“Yes.”
You hum, leaning back in your seat and scrubbing your hand over your eyes.
“Anything you can remember?”
“A few things,” Jones nods, “I’ll be more comfortable talking about them once we’re at the temple ruins.”
“Pardon me, miss,” You hear, and look up to see the host peering down at you.
“Yes?”
“You’ve a call at the telephone in the front.”
Indiana frowns. “From who?”
“I bet it’s Walter,” You sigh, standing and pushing your seat in. “He probably tried to reach me at the hotel first. I’ll make it quick.”
You follow the host away from your table, considering your options, and how you can possibly tell Walter that you’ll only be there for a few more days. But then…How did Walter know what hotel you’d been in? You hadn’t told Jane what hotel you were going to—you hadn’t even known yourself until you’d arrived in Amarna.  And how could he know which restaurant you’d gone to? You hadn’t told anyone as you’d left that morning.
You turn into the front hall, and slow as you spot him again—the bellhop from the hotel. Your gut swoops with worry, and you start to take a step back. You knock into someone, and whirl around, finding a tall, reedy man with an unnerving smile peering down at you. Before you can say a word or dart out of the way, someone puts their hand over your mouth from behind, and you feel a sharp press of a blade against your throat. You go still, eyes widening as your heart pounds in your chest.
“I suggest you stay quiet,” The reedy man advises. “Any sound will only make this worse for you.”
--
“Indy!”
The yell booms across the café, and Jones looks up from his food to see Sallah hurrying through the restaurant.
“Sallah, there you are. You’re late.” Indiana sits up, looking around for a waiter. “Ya want anything?”
“There’s no time for that, Indy—”
“Could eat that,” He nods toward where her food is sitting, going cold. “She’s been taking a call from loverboy for the last ten minutes, I doubt she’d notice—”
“You don’t understand,” Sallah rounds the table, drawing Indiana up by his arms. “We have to go—”
“What’s the hurry about?”
“They took her, Indy.”
Indiana’s brow furrows, head shaking a touch as panic begins to trickle into his system. “What?”
“I saw them bundling her into a truck! Her eyes were covered, there was something in her mouth—I couldn’t reach them in time—”
“Sallah—” Indiana reaches out, bracing his hands on Sallah’s shoulder—to focus him, and himself. “Who took her?”

So inspired by @i-ate-a-purse and @skybristle posts that both featured a sort of form for the Strawberry Jam Sword, I decided to try and come up with something of my own, and so I made Strawberry Jam Cookie, the original form of the Strawberry Jam Sword
To be honest, I’m not 100% on the design, it’s kind of a first draft and I feel like it looks a bit iffy, but I still like some of the elements. I might end up tweaking it more
The hair color I based on Dark Choco’s weird red gradient thing at the end of his hair, with it’s shape being more reminiscent of flowing jam, sort of like Vampire Cookie. Although maybe you could see it as being like storm clouds too, since the Strawberry Jam Sword shoots lightning. The outfit is basically just the Sovereign of Darkness’s armor but with different shoulder pads and no cape. Also it was originally black but I changed it to purple bc that’s the color of the Sovereign’s sword and thought it would match better, assuming that’s the original look and color of the sword. Also I gave them the Sovereign’s sword. As for the thing in their eye, I wanted to call back to the Sovereign’s diamond eye (which is likely the sword’s gem), so I gave them the shape in their left eye
To be honest I’m not sure what gender Strawberry Jam Cookie is, or if they even have one, I’m just gonna refer to them as they or it for now. The lashes aren’t supposed to be indicative of any gender, I just added them for flair
Alright, so I have some lore for them, but it’s not complete, so I’ll give you what I got
Although I’m not sure yet how they came to be this way or if they were just baked like this, Strawberry Jam Cookie was a being of unparalleled power, existing millennia before any of the Ancients were even born. And it’s only desire in this world was destruction, and the jam of every Cookie. You know the Shattered Kingdom from Ovenbreak (I only know it from the Trophy Race so apologies if I get things wrong)? Well here, in this telling of Kingdom, the Shattered Kingdom was destroyed by Strawberry Jam Cookie. Although the names have been lost to time, legends speak of a great ancient kingdom that was attacked by this destructive force, who brought red clouds and darkness wherever they went, and while it decimated the kingdom, they had a plan to stop it and it’s reign of terror. They lured the Cookie into a trap set by their wizards, in the hopes of sealing it away, but Strawberry Jam Cookie refused to accept defeat, using the last of it’s power to create an outburst of energy unlike any seen before. After it fired, and the dust settled, all across the land only crumbs remained of the Cookies of that kingdom, the only thing showing they were there in the first place was their swords, cast away onto the ground, the Shattered Kingdom destroyed in a single night, Since then the region has been haunted by the spirits of the warriors, constantly stuck in that very night and warding off all who trespass. And the only remnant of the Strawberry Jam Cookie was their sword, glowing crimson in anticipation for the day it would be used again. Some say the being died with the rest of the kingdom, but some say the wizards’ plan worked, and somewhere out there, it still lives. But none have been able to find the sword, until a young prince came along, and heard it’s crimson call…
I just thought that sounded cool. Anyways I need to study for my math final in an hour, so I’m gonna go do that. Hope you enjoy!
Also here’s Strawberry Jam Cookie with black armor

Year of Whump: Ancient Ruins
Masterpost | Read of Ao3
Short and sweet bc I’ve been low on energy. Altair and Elze’ith contend with a creature with an affinity towards stone.
Contains: Monster hunting, petrification, painful magical healing, queerplatonic whumpee/caretaker
~~~
In the far northern reaches of the valley lay the remnants of an old fortress. All that remained of it was its foundations and a few half-collapsed subterranean tunnels. No one ever went up that way anymore; the nearby mountain pass was too treacherous to use, even in the fairer seasons, and the ruins themselves were rumored to house a dangerous monster.
The latter fact was why Altair and Elze’ith had made their way there. According to what they had heard, the rumored monster didn’t often stray from the ruins of the fortress, but there was always a risk that it would, or that it would reproduce and its spawn would scatter. There was money to be made in either disproving the rumors or securing the ruins for good.
There was a sadness in Elze’ith’s eyes as they picked their way over crumbled stone. Altair placed a comforting hand on the small of his back; he knew how it pained Elze’ith to be confronted with the passage of time and the degradation that it wrought. The ruins didn’t fill him with the same melancholy, but he did find himself curious about the half-destroyed stone statues that dotted the area. Such decorative elements seemed odd for a defensive structure, especially so haphazardly placed.
They were stopped in their tracks by the sound of a low growl and something shuffling through the snow. A large reptilian creature with dark scales and exposed fangs crawled over one of the collapsed portions of wall and lumbered in their direction. That would be their monster, then.
Flames sparked to life in Altair’s hands as Elze’ith skipped back a few steps. Altair pressed the heels of his hands together and let out a gout of fire towards the monster, causing it to shriek and recoil. A burst of magical energy from Elze’ith coursed through Altair’s muscles, and he surged forward, lightning crackling in his hand as his other reached for his blade. If they were lucky, he could end this quickly.
The creature’s fangs flashed. A light grey mist, barely visible in the bright morning sun, emanated from its open mouth. Altair instinctively put up his right arm in a defensive position and stepped back, and from behind him Elze’ith threw a shield in front of him, but some of the creature’s breath had already reached him.
At first, his raised arm was overtaken by the sensation of intense pins and needles. The crackling of his nerves hurt, but he ignored it as he used his other hand to hurl lightning at the monster. But then, starting in the tips of his fingers and moving up, his arm went alarmingly numb. His arm felt heavy, too, as though he were supporting a brick with merely his shoulder. When he glanced away from the monster, both his skin and his clothes had turned stone-grey.
“Elze’ith!” he called out over his shoulder as he frantically channeled more magic into his lightning strike. The twin sensations of pins and needles and stone cold numbness were both making their way up his arm in tandem, even beyond where the monster’s breath had brushed him.
At least the monster was on its knees, though. Elze’ith took advantage of the opening to circle around behind the monster and run in. Altair released his magic just as Elze’ith plunged his dagger into the monster’s back and twisted, and the monster went fully limp.
Altair’s entire right shoulder was stone, now, and the effect was still working its way through him. Unable to support the sudden weight, he collapsed to his knees. The pins and needles now covered most of his chest, and the pain made it difficult to breathe. Alarm caused his heart to pick up in his chest. This was where those statues had come from, wasn’t it. He was going to turn entirely to stone.
Elze’ith crashed onto his knees in front of him. “It’s okay, Altair. I can fix this,” he said softly, quickly. “Let me just…”
Elze’ith placed a hand on Altair’s flesh shoulder. Warm magic pulsed through him. The tingling receded first, from pain to discomfort to normalcy. Then Elze’ith furrowed his brow, and Altair bit his lip as his shoulder exploded in crackling pain. That same pain slowly radiated back down his arm. At least he could feel it again, though, compared to the aching loss of sensation of before. After a long minute even that, too, faded, and Altair set down the knife to experimentally flex his fingers. A little weak, it seemed, but otherwise good as new.
It was one of the longest amounts of time it had ever taken Elze’ith to heal him. Elze’ith wiped some sweat from his brow. “Are you alright, Altair?”
“I’m fine, dear,” Altair said lightly. His arm felt a bit weak, but that was normal for right after a major heal.
Elze’ith smiled. “Good. That— you were very lucky.”
Altair reached over to thread his fingers through Elze’ith’s. “Of course. I have you, don’t I?”
Elze’ith rolled his eyes. “You know that’s not what I meant. But yes, I’m glad I was here.” He pushed himself to his feet. “Now, we should make sure that thing didn’t have a nest of some sort. Shall we?”
Using their still-joined hands as leverage, Altair hoisted himself upright with a grin. “But of course.”
I'm seeing people saying we're done with Mike and Gus, do you think that's true?
no idea, honestly, on the one hand, 6x09 would be an odd/anticlimactic place to leave them, but at the same time, their storylines in bcs were always going to be the most difficult to wrap up because they already have definitive endings in brba. it's like their stories here are open ended, because their stories there are already closed. so, while it would be unusual to leave them, i can also see how the emphasis on them in that episode speaks to small endings, in a way.
gus is free of lalo, free to continue on with his superlab and his grand revenge, though we know it will destroy him. he has a brief moment of possibility and connection with david and turns it aside, because he's shut off that part of himself, too set on his course to ever choose differently.
mike scrubs clean the remnants of an innocent man, bloody rags wrung out, snapshots thrown into a fire. he then has a discussion with a man who has lost his son - my boy is gone, a refrain mike knows far too well in the darkest and loneliest parts of his own mind, repeating how he broke his boy, and they killed him anyway - and he gives him an empty promise of justice, that this man, who is far better than he, immediately rejects, tells him it means nothing, it can never bring nacho back, and all of them, these criminals with their petty, destructive wars, their useless vengeance, are the same. and mike continues on his dark way, his bad choice road, because it's too late to do anything else, and he shaves off a little bit more of his soul. there's a certain poignancy if his last scene in this show revolves around another son he failed to save. the third one will escape, but he'll never see it.
we know they'll get a bomb rigged to a wheelchair and an angry bullet to the gut, hardly long from here, a handful more years (a crazy handful of nothin', in the end), though long enough to do even more damage than has been done, because that's where these decisions carry them. there can't be real resolution to their arcs here. they are predestined tragedies. they're ghosts, walking and talking in the ether of the past. they're dead already. they've been dead all along.
so, it's hard to say how they might use them effectively again. maybe they will have reason to, maybe not. if they don't, i will understand why the story left them in those specific moments.
What was saviour called before lightning gave it a name? Bc lightning named like that because she wanted to save her loved ones. But I Don think the ancient cocoonians wanted to save anyone 😂. Pretty sure they wanted the opposite
People from Cocoon called it Saviour too.
It was their way to 'save' themselves from the World Below.
To them the, World Below was full of evil savages who wanted to murder them all.
Ragnarok's name was also devised during the same era. The World Below saw it as their way to end the world for Cocoon, which they viewed as a bunch of evil people who wanted to conquer them.
At some point, the war between Cocoon and the World Below went from being a squabble over territory to a full-blown genocidal battle in which the 'winners' were probably the ancestors of the Clans because more of them 'survived' than did people from Cocoon.
I say 'survived' because the conflict between Cocoon and the World Below was so devastating that the survivors were promptly almost obliterated by the Grimm due to the damage they took in the battle. Civilisation collapsed and both humanity and Faunus teetered on the brink of extinction.
In truth, the people of present-day Remnant can trace their ancestry back to both groups. Many ancient ethnic groups have a rain of crystal or a crystal dawn as part of their creation myth. These groups are actually descendants from the survivors of Cocoon. The World Below is the group from which all the Clans are descended, as well as a variety of other groups.
They stopped trying to kill each other because it took millennia for civilisation to reach the same level it had been prior to the Calamity. At that point, nobody remembered the conflict properly, and Cocoon itself (as in, then floating fortress set in the sky) had long since crashed and broken apart, so everybody was just another tribe/clan/etc trying to survive.
Cocoon and the World Below are the oldest known advanced civilisations native to Remnant. The Cetra who briefly lived on Remnant and the moon existed earlier but were wiped out by JENOVA. Note that only the pure-blooded Cetra were killed when their super weapon fired and broke the moon, sending JENOVA into stasis. The half-blooded Cetra were not tied to the weapon as closely, so some survived. All current people of Remnant have traces of Cetra blood in them. Some, like Sephiroth, have more of it than most, which usually manifests in the form of unusual bright eyes, massive Aura reserves, and a variety of other things.
There was also an even older civilisation than the Cetra who came through the great Door that is currently buried beneath the sea. They belonged to an advanced civilisation that used Doors to link different worlds together, eliminating the need for advanced space travel and powerful fleets. They were destroyed by the Grimm, with some survivors (humans and Faunus) fleeing to Remnant and breaking the door behind them.
However, the actual number of survivors was small, so they were quickly absorbed into the local population of humans and Faunus. Their small numbers and the disparate nature of the survivors (whoever managed to get through the door before they broke it behind them, mostly a few soldiers and random civilians) meant that technological uplift did not occur although the Cetra (and later Vanille) would stumble across some of the technology they brought with them.
The heart of the network of Doors was called Kingdom Hearts, and it was lost to the Grimm long before the Cetra ever arrived on Remnant.
One of the reasons the people of Remnant are so, well, good at fighting is because Remnant herself is descended from a Living World that was destroyed in battle, which predisposes her creations to be more martially inclined. Furthermore, all of the survivors who fled there were basically the most badass of their respective groups.
Millennia of constant, raging war against the Grimm have ensured that only those with the willpower, martial ability, and sheer toughness have been able to survive and have children. The Children of Remnant (the term for people who can trace their descent back to Remnant) survived what was essentially a Death World and have spent the rest of their time slaughtering the Grimm and driving them back and back to the point that the Grimm's only really inflict major damage in the form of gigantic swarms numbering in the quadrillions.
Honestly, to the humans of Earth (and the Asari in particular), then Children of Remnant are considered quite warlike.
ASK ME ABOUT LORE! || ALWAYS ACCEPTING! || @reds-hub-and-main
reds-hub-and-main asked: Any thoughts on Will/Spring/scrap/burntrap being made of agony and not remnant? Cause I saw an interesting theory that said thats why the fires haven't taken him out, because fire destroys remnant not agony
first off, i think it’s hilarious how many names this bitch has at this point-
second! i 100% believe that him being made of agony, not remnant, is plausible (if not canon). i think a lot of that belief comes from the knowledge that cassidy, another being of agony (not remnant) has survived up until this point -- you could chalk that up to them being strong-willed, sure, but i feel like fire would have destroyed them come fnaf 3 or ffps either way if that wasn’t the case.
cassidy and afton have a few similarities, one of which being that they’re impossible to kill once they’re dead. their dynamic is highkey fascinating imo bc they’re kinda tethered even tho cassidy has made it their life goal to END his ass
ok so in a nutshell the 'remnant' is the soul itself, which can be stuck into metal and used as a way to power animatronics and possession etc etc - we basically know what it is
agony, on the other hand is the pain and sorrow of the tragedy (eg the MSI, scoopening, '83/'87 etc) that can infect inanimate objects around the tragedy - like the fredbear plush or the robots themselves. its much more persistant than remnant and can't be destroyed by excessive heat/fire like remnant can
now the theorist used this as an explanation for the Blob's existence as an amalgamation after fnaf 6 bc the fire destroyed the remnant but not the 'agony' that stuck around due to the pain/trauma of everything that happened - theres more details in the video itself but apparently it comes from the books (big shocker i know) and has implications for the ruin dlc coming in 2023
i'm gonna be using it differently though, because my version of events is quite different to his - tbh i just watch his vids so i can pick bits and pieces to use for my own headcanons and twist it if i feel like it lol
oh boy the angst headcanons for after michael's died in fnaf 6 but henry is left behind but he slowly realises that not everything has been destroyed/unfinished and his assumptions that mike died for nothing (bc he doesn't know the difference between agony and remnant etc) and what could he possibly do next bc he doesn't have that long left himself but he cant let go without finishing everything but also he cant allow himself to become so obsessed that he turns into a spirit himself and is stuck like all of the children were with no one left to help him heheheh :3
theres a lot of potential is what i'm sayin' lol
So, what’s the story for your DR OCs anyways? Were they all in the same killing game? How did Renjiro and Rini become Ultimate Despairs, and how’d they get undespaired?
okay so!!!! im always happy to talk abt my ocs bc I'm obsessed with them, so lemme tell ya!
minato and dongyul were both a part of the first killing game, and you know the whole story there.
dongyul's motive for killing minato was just pure cruelty and the need to escape.
renjiro and rini, however, were a part of the second simulated game, and renjiro ended up challenging rini to a brawl (very much like their respective partners). he didn't expect rini to show up with a knife and ended up dying that way.
my knowledge on the despair stuff is actually just from reading fanfic and seeing fanart LMAO but I'll try to explain to the best of my abilities.
rini became despaired when junko approached her and gave her the offer, she quickly killed her father (with a blowtorch) and fell to despair.
renjiro became despaired the same way as rini, but he had to crash his car to fall into despair. his car is the most important thing to him and he destroyed it beyond repair. during despair, he mutilated his own right foot (gas pedal) and was unable to drive due to that.
renjiro was the first of the remnants to be captured, since the guilt of everything he'd done was too much alongside his increasing pain and infection.
rini was the last to be captured, since she kept lighting whoever came for her on fire. they eventually caught her and locked her in confinement, away from anything that could catch fire.
they were entered in the neo world program along with everyone else, and then yk what happens there!!
Please! Save this town from despair! Show me your dazzling light of hope to crush despair!
#my art#danganronpa#nagito komaeda#dr#ultra despair girls#ive been thinking ab what tma entities dr characters would be aligned with. mostly nagito lol#i feel like....okay. from what ive seen. nagito is either made an avatar of the spiral or desolation#WHICH IS VERY GOOD.''the world you know is wrong. that your mind is lying to you. Fear of deception lying deceiving of the mind and senses.#Nagito being under the spiral does seem to especially fit in with some paets of his worldview and also his illnesses does make sense but#hmm....idk. i see a lot of ppl make nagito basically Michael? which i like but. hmmm i feel like other entities could maybe fit him better#TThe desolation fits very well too !! i like it more than the spiral in some cases. ''The fear of pain loss burning and destruction''#'especially with a senseless cause.Followers are enriched by destroying the lives of people who had things to live for and destroying thing#before their potential is realised.Manifests as fire wax heat burns destruction of potential.'' I FEEL LIKE. that especially fits nagito#during his time as a remnant of despair yknow? like his whole relationship with bringing in more despair bc the hope that comes after it#will be even greater. what i personally like to see nagito with is the Vast !!! OKAY. i know that kind of seems weird but hear me out#''The fear of heights falling and large open spaces including sky space and deep water. More broadly: the human fear of insignificance and#meaninglessness of losing oneself in too much space.Manifests as void wide-open spaces vertigo falling the transformation of something that#should have a limit into something infinite. now what i wanna focus on for nagito is the human fear of insignificance and meaninglessness#nagito craves the feeling of loosing himself in something alrger than himself. his main goal shown throughout sdr2 is wanting to be a#stepping stone for hope. he wants to get to see the great hope that comes from ppl like the ultimates. like...in udg where he mentions that#he wishes he got to see junko being taken down lol. hes very focused on his insignificance and that like. even though he himself cant be a#symbol of hope. he still wants to propell other ppl he sees as symbols of hope forward. i could ramble ab this more but idk how many tags r#left lol. ALSO.....the whole plane + parents dying part of his backstory. id like to use that + him being an entity of the vast together fo#something. also....this doesnt matter but i just like the aesthetic of him being an avatar of the vast lol#i think ive also seen him done as having some connections to the Lonely as well?? WHICH I THINK. fits so well actually with how isolated he#seems to be from his peers and how noone's rlly. tried to understand him i guess? before hajime at least lol#from what ive sen. the spiral + desolation + lonely do seem like theyd fit him well in different ways. im just very attached to the idea of#nagito and the Vast lol. PROBABLY BC i connect myself to the vast as well. well...the Vast + the Corruption#hmmm i rlly just. do not have enough brain power to decide what entities other dr characters would be connected to. not smart enough i feel#like lol. im not the analyzing type. its already embarasing enough just talking ab this in the tags through a bunch of disconnected thought
