Sunday - literally at the plane doors when I landed in LA a male flight attendant pretend to grab my leftovers from my hands like “oh is that for me? Thank you so much!” 😂😂 I was like oh this is the aggressive men on the mars line! But I just joked back at him lol

Monday - I broke EIGHT nails!!!!! 😭😩 one was like 🙄 but by 4 I was telling my bestie “would you believe me if I told you another one is gone?” And she knew immediately that I was talking about my nails 🤣 none of them broke too far down so it wasn’t painful and I don’t think my mars line “made” then break lol I think they were weak and being held together by my nail polish so when I took it off bc it was chipped my nails were like “it’s time to let go” 😩 everyone was super nice so nothing else happened that day! I didn’t bring my work phone with me so who knows what was happening at work 🤷🏾‍♀️

Tuesday - i feel like there were some aggressive people throughout the day but not directed only at me lol bc it was the park workers at Disney just being like THIS IS A WALK WAY ONLY KEEP MOVING when we stopped to take pictures of the parade. I also found out that the shoes I wore the day before gave me a blister on the bottom of my toe which was so painful

Wednesday - I feel like this was the most mars line day tbh bc I got my period that morning and I did “surgery” on myself 😂 bc of where my blister was I had to pop it safely (TMI incoming) so I doordashed a first aid kit and a sewing kit and I sterilized the needle and drained the blister and it’s insane how the pain was gone right after that! Then I went to go visit the Observatory to see LA and the Hollywood sign and that was really cute but then a bee flew into my friend’s hair and she was freaking out and I’m allergic but I could see it so I had to do something so she didn’t get stung! I used my phone like a paddle and beat it out of her hair and it fell on the ledge in front of us and I pushed it off 😩 then we went to In-N-Out and some guy tried to take my order for his friend lol I was 7 and his friend was 12 and he was like oh I thought you said 12…..🙄 also on the day to the observatory I realized that I had a lot of requirements to fulfill before I could renew my bar license 💀 I deadass thought I just had to do the CLEs and pay but I have to find a mentor too?? 😩 so I was listening to the CLEs on the long car rides.

Thursday - Another Mars/MC day because I was listening to more CLEs during car rides and I looked up who I could email and ask to be my mentor! I was at universal that day and nothing major mars like happened lol and honestly idk why aggressive men was something that people emphasized bc they were all really nice to me 😂 even the Grinch! This girl did have an attitude towards me while we were watching a show bc we were standing there for 30 min and she shows up and tries to stand in front of me and I’m 4’11 and she was at least 5’5?? And she motioned for her bf to come stand in front of me too and he refused and told her to come back and she was brooding the rest of the show 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ After that our Lyft driver was so nice bc the app sent him to a different location than where the park told us to go get rides and he came and found us instead of canceling! 💕 and his car was so nice and smelled so good!

Friday - traveling day! Again dealing with really nice men 😂 bc I was in line for this place to get coffee and a pastry and the person skipped over me bc she couldn’t see me and the guy behind me was like “someone’s down here” 🤣🤣 and then later this other guy was just making small talk with me while we waited for our stuff lol but the cashier??? Who was a girl literally told me she wasn’t “spelling all that out” when I told her my name and spelled it out and she said I would have a nickname for the day 💀💀 my name is 5 letters long lmao she shortened it to 3? Like okay I guess?? 😂

Now I’m home and I checked my work phone and nothing happened while I was gone but today they sent an email congratulating the intern (who was there for 4 months and is still in law school) for accepting an attorney position in our office and I’ve been there for 2.5 years and it did make me feel some type of way bc 🤔🤔🤔 no one offered even after I got barred but they offered it to the person who hasn’t completed the degree yet and doesn’t have a bar license yet…?? I have been trying to get out so 😂 I’m not toooooo mad bc also that’s not the field of work I want to be doing long term but idk it’s the principle lol also I don’t remember which day but I saw something about the federal cost of living being increased for 2024 and I think fed govt employees get a pay increase bc of that?? I’m hoping that contractors like me do too!

Overall: Mars/MC line was a fun little time and productive trip! I feel like if you’re quick to anger I can see where you’d end up being really angry on your mars line but I just be looking at people in disbelief tryna figure out what possessed them to act like that towards me and then I just laugh and move on lol I didn’t like LA that much it was way too crowded for me omg but I’m not a fan of New York either and I feel like they’re similar 🤷🏾‍♀️ I would definitely go back and visit other parts of California tho!!

hello friends! 💖 and happy new year! i hope 2023 is kind to us all! 

let’s just get into it! at the tail-end of 2021, i wasn’t really sure i was going to stay on tumblr. a lot of the friends i had made on my main and on another side blog had moved on from tumblr/we didn’t talk anymore. the few IRL friends i do have, i don’t follow on here bc i got rid of my old account (c. 2011) so i wasn’t really sure i was going to even be on tumblr during 2022. 

but then... march, 2022, my friend wanted to show me a music video. i wasn’t super jazzed but said “okay.” and he said, “have you heard of stray kids?” and me being into kpop for the better part of 16-ish years i said, “yes, i’ve heard of stray kids. i don’t stan, but i have heard of them.” fast forward a few weeks, he’s made me watch the maniac mv like 10 times and he thinks now is a good time to tell me, “by the way, stray kids is a self-producing group.” in case you didn’t know, i love groups that self-produce. see the other groups i love, bigbang, bts, seventeen, winner and ikon. so as soon as he said that, i was done for. i fell even deeper into kpop and fell into stray kids. 

in april, 2022 i decided that i should make a side blog for stray kids. i didn’t think it would grow into what it has. i just thought it would be like my itzy and blackpink side blogs, where i occasionally post some fan photos and other ppls creations. instead... i thought a good way for me to catch up on 4 years of content was to start giffing and here we are. i say this every time i do a follow forever, but i'm so happy here in my corner of stayblr. everyone is so kind and wonderful! and i want to thank everyone that shows my gifsets love! i'll tag some ppl below, but i want to mention a few special ppl to me first:

ngl i appreciate being the taller one when it comes to kisaki… doesn’t happen too often irl but at least i have fictional characters 😭 the power man

saw this and immediately had to think of kisaki + daughter and hanma + son

also ngl kisaki gives me the vibes of being heartbroken when his little girl no longer says “when i grow up i want to marry daddy” and i am here for dragging his ass as he deserves. the whole like “don’t date till you’re 40” thing where she at the beginning agreed to but later is like “you met mom before you were 40 though” and kisaki is offended and hurt at being sassed back, just wishing to be back when she was a baby and literally couldn’t physically sass him.

pfttt- kisaki letting his aspiring writer daughter use captives to read off her scripts… she later becomes a thriller and crime writer and always asks her daddy dearest how long it takes for a person to bleed out if hit by an ice pickle exactly 7 times in the chest and he tells her the next day with another missing person winding up somewhere <3 crime author daughter and her crime committing father, way to keep the family business going XD

koko and inui are sooo the rich gay uncles. they can’t act at all around kids and when they were forced to babysit for just a few moments, she started crying and koko just gave her a stash of money, which weirdly worked.

as much as kisaki doesn’t want to, he has to relay on his executives a little bit when it comes to his daughter, even if its just little things like asking to pick her up and bring her to school and they know better than to mess with boss’ kiddo

also 100% pretty face sanzu would be her childhood crush because he reminds her of a prince and sanzu is not on board with it at all

typically I'm the taller one (and I'm taller than my wife) Plus at most like they're 5'10 or 6' so only a couple inches taller than me and pretty much always eye level. But there's a feralness that fills me when I realize Hanma is almost a good foot taller than me. I simply don't know what to do. I mean- yeah- it's kinda sexy ig? I think? I dunno I'm honestly just gonna sit there like that cat with the flower on it's head frothing in my anger to bite his Achilles tendon 😬

Tetta's princess sassing him?? I'm pulling up a chair and making popcorn as we speak?? Seriously- devastated when his daughter has her first crush. He thought he was gonna have his little girl clinging to him forever when a boy walked by because "they have cooties" and now Tetta's crumbling and the kids only like eight and she just off handedly said a boy at school was nice 😂 You casually remind Tetta that he is married. To you. And he's just sobbing into a pillow that his little girl isn't gonna be his little girl anymore. Oh and the attitude! Please preteen into the teen years? Tetta was ready for like the textbook stuff, even had the birds and the bees talk all mapped out but then his kid flippantly remarks she already knows about sex. And Tetta is hyperventilating how did his precious little girl even know what the word sex is?? God I am so here for mini Tetta giving her father daily heart attacks

the entire premise of Toman having to deal with Tetta's child is sending me over the moon scream-

Koko constantly uses the excuse that the snot covered crying baby is why he never wants to have one. But Inui is like "It's cute, I kinda like it" but frankly makes Tetta's kid cry constantly. Koko takes over though bc he's tired of the crying and Inui not shutting up? Suddenly the kid is silent and very content in Uncle Koko's arms. Sits on his lap almost every time she comes to a meeting. Kicking her feet coloring and Koko is groaning bc she picked him and no one else 😂

and don't even get me started on the Sanzu thing! this four year old is head over heels for the pretty pink haired man who looks like a princess but carries a sword. Crush never goes away and constantly wants to play castle with Sanzu where he's the pretty pretty princess that rescues her. Sanzu is cringing and asking Tetta to keep that thing away from him. Tetta is genuinely trying to get his daughter to love any other coworker. At this point even Angry might do he swears. But his daughter is smitten with Sanzu. While she's begging Sanzu to play and Tetta is trying to explain who he can't play. Mikey's just eating like his third lunch and finally just commands Sanzu to play with the girl. Now it's Sanzu's job to be the prince to Tetta's kid bc Mikey got tired of listening to both men and made Sanzu do it 😂

Okay I watch WAY too much true crime for someone with anxiety this bad so Ronan scares me the most out of the pack. 😭😂 Love addict had me on the edge of my seat bc what if Justin came home suddenly!? My favorite characters are Alice and Fletcher! I love badass women and Fletcher must be protected at all costs. Moondrunk is one of my favorite stories just perfect! I know they’re all your babies but who’s your favorite? Do you have a favorite story or just one that you had a ton of fun writing?? Sorry if I’m being too nosy or asking too many questions! From one writer to another youre very talented! 🐝

You're not asking too many questions, Bee, this makes my day!!! I'm thrilled Ronan freaked you out so much, and I'm double thrilled to hear that you love Alice and Fletch so much! I have a deep fascination with true crime too; while I didn't draw inspo from any particular serial murderer for Ro, that is the vibe I was shooting for.

For favorite characters: Kase is REALLY up there. I love writing a character who buries his social awkwardness under ten tons of Displaced Rage and Aggression and I have a huge soft spot for tortured artists who dress like a 90's goth wardrobe threw up on them. Alice is up there too; I grew up on a steady diet of Buffy and Totally Spies...she's also the spiritual successor to an RPG character whose story came to an end earlier this year (RIP Juliet, you were one of a kind).

For favorite stories: Teeth and Karma will always hold a special place in my heart, as will Moondrunk. Unstable Compounds was INCREDIBLY fun to write, just because Mace is so unhinged.
