This can also double as a science fiction point, but I was wondering: since Earth's surface is 70% covered by water, would a hypothetical extraterrestrial being assume that whatever intelligent species exists here, it would live in the oceans?
They would probably think "there's no way they wouldn't be able to live in the majority of their planet". Or, maybe, they'd think we are amphibians.

Thinking about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, I was wondering something. You know how there could be movies, books, TV shows and other media set in the Victorian Era, but they either get historical facts wrong or mix them together? (For instance, they showcase an event occurred rather early in Queen Victoria's reign, but they still depict her as she was when she was old)
Can you imagine, in the future, similar things with depictions of Elizabeth II's reign? Anachronisms like:
Implying that she became Queen right after World War II
Showing Margaret Thatcher as still being the Prime Minister when Hong Kong returned to China
Even Pop Cultural things like the Beatles still being together well into the 1970s and 1980s
There could be many more thngs, but I wonder how will "cultural osmosis" affect her reign in the future, mixing up events that, in reality, where separated by decades.

One of the weirdest parts of this Thunderbolts line-up is how vastly different Ghost's abilities are compared to the others.
You have five super soldiers (or even just super assassins) there, and then there's an assassin who has the ability to turn invisible and intangible because she can pretty much phase across realities.
It looks like when a party is made out of characters from the same class, except one who ends up being the OP member of the group

I wonder what is the bigger MCU Butterfly Effect moment between:
Tony Stark using Quentin Beck's technology in Civil War (2016) and calling it "BARF", which in return would lead to the events of both Far From Home (2019) and No Way Home (2021). Technically speaking, the Multiverse was going to be opened up all over New York just because Stark called it BARF
In the alternate Avengers timeline shown in Endgame (2019), Hulk is mad for being forced to use the stairs. The confusion causes the events of Loki (2021) to take place, resulting in a Multiversal War
I just love how those would be minor inconvenients on their own but both caused rips across the Multiverse in the long run

Now that 2022 is over, I want to say thank you for being a part of why I have enjoyed this year.
Somehow, I keep getting notifications concerning my posts every time I check my Tumblr, every day.
I feel like you all welcomed me in here, despite the fact that I only joined Tumblr in 2020, during the pandemic. (Or maybe shortly before, but that is not the point)
I wonder what else the future will bring, and, as I am typing this final post of the year, I wish you can all end the year with a smile, and that the new one will bring you a reason to be happy.
Enjoy what's next, because, even if they will not go down in history, every day deserves to be remembered.

I feel like giving Constantine (2005) its sequel just made the DCEU crazier, so why not taking it up to eleven?
I would really love to see the sequel to Keanu Reeves' Constantine (2005) be a DCEU film because, this way, it would suddenly make the DCEU an even older superhero cinematic universe.
This is one of the reasons why I wish the DCEU would include DC movies and shows pre-Man of Steel as part of their main universe, because I love the idea of them retroactively incorporating properties that were meant to be self contained into something larger.
I have heard that Zack Snyder did consider bringing back Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, meaning that Green Lantern (2011) can still be part of the DCEU.
Since the Conjuring Universe is hinted as taking place within the same universe as the DCEU, why not making it canon as well, maybe through Constantine itself.
I just love the idea that all those properties have the potential of being set in the same world as the Justice League movies.
Annabelle and the Nun from the Conjuring terrorising their victims in the XX century, John Constantine facing literal demons in the early 2000s, Hal Jordan saving Earth by facing Parallax across the Solar System, all sharing the world with Superman and the others? I love it.
Not to mention, it wouldn't even be the first time a version of John Constantine was brought back into a shared universe. Matt Ryan's TV show was supposed to start its own Earth, but, since it was cancelled after one season, they just thought it was easier to welcome him into the Arrowverse.
I mean, this would be the actual list of the DCEU movies, a franchise so weird that half of the movies in this universe aren't even supposed to be DCEU movies!
Look at this:
Constantine (2005)
Green Lantern (2011)
Man of Steel (2013)
The Conjuring (2013)
Annabelle (2014)
Batman v. Superman - Dawn of Justice (2016)
The Conjuring 2 (2016)
Suicide Squad (2016)
Wonder Woman (2017)
Annabelle: Creation (2017)
Justice League (2017)
The Nun (2018)
Aquaman (2018)
Shazam! (2019)
The Curse of La Llorona (2019)
Annabelle Comes Home (2019)
Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey (2020)
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
The Conjuring: The Devil made me do it (2021)
The Suicide Squad (2021)
Peacemaker (2022)
And these are just the movies that were released. Then, in the future, we have:
Black Adam
The Flash
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
Blue Beetle
Shazam - Fury of the Gods
Constantine 2
This is just so wild and epic to me! What do you think?

Fun Fact: when it comes to the British Royal Family, it is usual in Italy to either translate the name or adapt it to the Italian language, something that has always been done with historical figured and/or royals. For instance, philosopher Francis Bacon is known as Francesco Bacone, while the various French King Louis are known as Luigi.
Anyway, this practice is still happening in some occasions with Royals. The Spanish King is known in Italy as Filippo VI.
The British Royal Family is obviously no exception. The late Queen Elizabeth II was called Elisabetta II, her Consort was Principe Filippo, the current King is Carlo III.
However, King Charles' sons keep their names even in Italian media, being known as William and Harry. It's not even a case of "well, perhaps the Italian equivalents to these names are nonexistent", because William would be Guglielmo (in fact, William the Conqueror is called Guglielmo il Conquistatore), whereas Harry, being a variant of Henry, would just be Enrico (like how the various King Henry are called in Italy).
Still, while it is now rare, when Prince William's firstborn was named George, some Italian media reported his name as Giorgio. It is unknown if the translated name would stick, but, if it does, it would be so funny to see the British Royal Names in Italy like
Edoardo - Giorgio - Elisabetta - Carlo - WILLIAM - Giorgio
It's a bit similar to how, when we talk about US Presidents, for some reasons we ONLY translate Abraham Lincoln, so out of nowhere you have ABRAMO Lincoln.
