- Let’s just imagine... what it’d be like, if Enji had been a wholesome dad!

[Calculating 16 years back in the canon: Enji was 30, Toya was 9, Keigo was 7 (Rumi was 11) ]

- Enji saved Keigo from an abusive home, but when the HPSC notices Keigo’s bloody potential and wants to buy him... Enji just - adopts Keigo.

- Rei was angry about his sudden desicion: Because they already had huge responsibility with their other children! - But then she saw the tiny malnourished child who just escaped the abuse, without a home or anyone to turn to- and her heart just snapped.

- Tiny Keigo knew he wasn’t wanted, so he made himself smaller and bowed to her. - But Rei just fell to her knees and hugged him really, really close.

- Toya next to them was like: “Yeah... actually, I wanted a dog - but a bird’s fine too.”

- The whole family went shopping to buy a bunch of wing-fitted kid-clothes. Kei’s just happy to have clothes and’s still too shy to ask for anything specific so fucking Toya ends up deciding what he tries on. Fuyumi next to them is like: “Tou, That’s just black. There’s no color- Wait- I think thats a mini-skirt, what the- What do you want with the lipstick!?” - Enji has to bring half of the clothes back.

- Enji starts to read guidebooks about therapheutic parenting for Keigo, but ends up overwhelming all of his kids with love and attenttion. He talks with Keigo that its okay to cry when he feels like it, but Keigo still just swallows everything down and is scared to make noise.

- Rei and Enji made sure Keigo’d eat and sleep enough, helped him preening his wings and constantly reasurred him that his accidental lil chirps are nothing to be ashamed of.

- But in the first month, instead of playing with his new siblings, Keigo constantly helps with hard work in the house and gardens without getting asked and doesn’t stop until they tell him to. Toya asks him about it at night. Keigo admits that he loves this place more than anything and is horrified of being tossed out again, so he tries to be worth their money.

- Toya punches him (softly, with love) in the face and tells him that he’s part of the family, even if he’d burn down down their house.

- Keigo feels like a stone falling from his chest, but the fear just doesn’t go away. One day he helps Enji do the dishes and he breaks a plate. And his whole world just cracks with that plate. He’s starts trembling and is like- “You can hit me and all, but please don’t toss me out!”

- Toya heared that and he’s like :O And Enji’s like >:O

- And then Toya stares at his father, grabs a plate and smashes it to the floor so it breaks. He grabs Keigo’s hand and screams: “If you wanna punish Kei, you gotta punish me too!”.

- Enji just hugs both of them, holds them really close: “Kei, we won’t ever toss you out, we love you and you’re a Todoroki now. That was just an accident. And Tou- I’d never hurt one of you!” - Touya’s like: “I know, I just wanted to smash a plate”

- After that Enji takes a day off and they all just play in the gardens. And one moment, Keigo just stops and looks at them laughing about a really bad joke he just made and he thinks: “Woa, I’ve a family now!” And he’s so happy, he starts crying. It’s the first time he cried since a long time, and it’s because of joy.

- Enji isn’t the no. 2 hero, since he spends more time with Rei and his kids. So he moves between 2nd and 4th place in the rankings, but he really doesn’t care.

- He is still a kinda-dick to the public, but he actually talks about his family, when you ask him about them. (”Yes, my family is way better than yours. Are you blind?” *Pulls a picture out of his wallet* “Just look at my amazing sons and this pure-hearted angle of a daughter. Now out of the way, my wife said I should grab milk on my way home.”) And when he comes home can’t but smile when he sees Rei and his kids. He is really proud of them.

- Enji helps Natsuo with his homework and he makes soba with Fuyumi, plays referee for a sparring-match between Keigo and Touya. But neither of them accepts their limits or defeat, escalateing their fight until it get’s so heated, that Enji has to put a end to it, because he can’t see his kids hurting each other like this. So he let’s them fight him instead, forcing them to team up, and even though he just fakes defeat, he sees their potential.

- The kids are super scared sometimes that he doesn’t make it home after a huge fight, but Enji always returns to read the bed-time story before giving good-night-hugs, So they don’t have nightmares.

- Shoto is born and he’s allowed to sleep in his parents bed. So the other siblings want the same and they fall asleep in a puppy-family-pile. Enji sleeps half on the floor that night.

- Natsuo sees in a TV documentary that male baby-chickens get often killed instandly after they hatch... And so he freaks out, cries and hugs Keigo, like wanting to protect him. - They need the whole night to reassure him, that Keigo is in fact, not a chicken.

- One day the kids should help move some boxes up the staircase to Enji’s study. - And Keigo’s is like: “We can do that later, right guys? Let’s go see what’s inside first, play with it and then try if we can make it look like we never opened it. That’ll be fun!”; And Toya’s like: “Fucking finally” - Inside were reports about unsolved crime cases in the city. Toya and Keigo talk about it the whole month. They decide that they wanna become heroes together.

- Enji “trains” with Fuyumi, Natsuo, Toya and Keigo - But it’s actually just goofing around and playing villan-attack. (So they know what to do if someone tries to harm them, but he always watches so noone gets hurt.) Toya and Keigo are the only ones to take the play seriously, since they want to become heros for real.

- Enji tells Toya that there’s no need for him to become a hero, if he isn’t fitted for using his quirk. Toya thinks about this, but works out extremly reffined techniques where he uses his fire more defined to avoid burns.

- Toya and Keigo constantly fight about who’s the strongest. (But they are careful not to seriously hurt each other and instandly stop when the other is down. They also teamed up, when a guy in Natsu’s class stalked and tried to bully him. There isn’t much stronger in this world than their big-bro-insticts.)

- Natsuo always cares for their injuries and then Rei gives the two household chores as punishemt.... - And then they fight about who should do the dirtier work.

- Later they met Rumi hanging around in the dangerous parts of the playground and started a fight about a last soda-can. Rumi just obliterated both of them. (since she is 3/6 years older.)

- Toya and Keigo go to UA and both win the sportsfestival first place in their year. They sparr and work-out together with Rumi. They go to different agencies during their internship and try to out-do each other in solved cases.

- They were supposed to babysit Shoto once. The kitched burned.

- Toya becomes a top ranked hero and the todorokis have a big family dinner twice a week. They always cook together and everything is chaotic but in the good way.

- Toya pierces Keigos ears, because Keigo lost a bet. They start a big fight about it on the stage of the Hero-billboard-charts, live on TV. (- But they do team ups on every big mission to keep their backs safe. They’d litterally die giving the other cover.)

- Enji always tries to get team-ups with Toya, but Toya always dodges. (Because it’s kinda fucking embrassing to work with your dad, who has your baby-pictures in his wallet.)

- They are super fucking happy and nothing will ever change that.

Babe wake up im going to rant about my ocs lore because im bored

I write angsty stuff for my ocs oops-

When i first started making my characters they were very different in alot of ways and they were very different from what they are now. But i some how managed to glue all the chaos of my ocs together into a semi-coherent story. I went through an insane amount of world building with myself and i honestly dont think ive ever writen or typed any of it out before! its all just up in my head (and you know my memory is trash so ive probably forgotten of alot of things i made before lol). Anyways- i have two main story lines for my characters. Ethan's story, and Vevlet's story. Although i must admit Ethan's story is less complex than velvets simply beacsue it acts as a story of prequeal to Velvets story line. (Alternate realities that happen to have effect on each other basically- we love space time junk)

Ethan's world is very similar to ours, the most similar out of any of my fantasy worlds lol. Ethan's story revolves around self-discovery. I mean for it to be a wholesome/lighthearted thing that quickly leads up to dark undertones (spoilers lol). Ethan's story begins with Eef pre-transition (AFAB to NB). We get to see Ethan learn about themself and have fun exploring emotions and what it means to be alive. Ethan comes from a run-down family (mom khs, dad mia). So he lives with his adoptive parents (who i have yet to design and think about- theyre lesbians 100% though). A major moment for Eef is meeting his partner Seth. As you already know Ethan and Seth are cute ass boyfriends and stuff but guess what! im jammed their story full of angst and edgy shit bc i "wrote" most of this when i was hella depressed! Anyways Seth's family is like moderally welathy, wealthier than most i would say. Seth catches feelings for the emo chick ofc (forgot to metion Eef was definately a hot goth girl before he transitions).... uh yea anyways seth ends up flirting and crushing on eef and eef is like yea sure im bored and sad why not. and they end up dating after a while. Theres an important moment in their relationship when Ethan take Seth to this dead tree. THis dead tree is very important also bc it is where his mother hanged herself, and Ethan doesnt quite remember that bc he was very young when it happened, but he knows it as a place of comfort and he goes there alot when he feels sad or alone. this tree could be taken as symbolizim but heheh ill never tell. anyways Ethan is like yo my fevorite tree and Seth is like wtf okay bro ily and all but why a dead tree with an unstable tire swing?? ANd ethans like idk but i like it here reminds me of my childhood (op my guy) and they spend the night there. Also when ethan comes out to seth as nonbinary seth is just like ok,,, because hes bisexual lol. anyways time skip and Seth has some addiction problems once he graduates, long story short- Ethan doesnt like it bc his dad was a druggie so he trys to help Seth and Seth raises his voice and ethan is tiny compared to his bf so hes naturally like terrified of being hit and he suddenly feels his world of happy and peace he build back up bieng destroyed once again so he heads to his mothers dead tree and decides life isnt worth it anymore, and he hangs himself in the exact spot his mother did.... once seth comes off one of his highs or whatever hes like- oh fuck i yelled and acted agro to my traumatized partner. and he immedatly goes to the tree bc its Ethans favortie spot but its to late. regret is the only emootion anymore... its over for them.

now youre probably wondering how the absolute hell does that tie into velvets lore?? well do i have a tale for you. Velvets sotry begins on her 21st birthday, she is out for drinks with her douchebag bf and her bestfriend. several drinks later she yells over blaring club music shes going to the restroom, and as shes walking back she sees her bf and her bestie making out and she doesnt even say anyhting and walks out alone. She is making her way back to her apartment very tipsy. She then hears a vechile driving beside her, she cant make out anyhting theyre saying and the people in the car get out and before she even relises whats going on shes thrown into the vechile and is being beaten and yelled at. She passes out as theyre driivng to somewhere. When she next awakes she is in a barn-looking place. Concreate walls painted red and straw all over the floor. she cant stand, her legs stung and so did her entire body. for several days- she doesnt know how long she stayed in this place unable to move or do anything. Weak and starving, she gathered up her last bit of strength and hung herself on a low board (havent really worked out the details on that scence bc i keep changing my mind but she does hang herself). Cut to a space of nothingness- legit nothing- exactly its impossible to imagine nothing. In the nothing sits velvet all skin and bone, and then an entity, a hooded figure with long hair, sits next to her. No words are spoke, but the entity looks at velvet longingly. Then it tears out its eye- just full on plunges its hand into its socket and rips it out. bloody mess honestly. the entity hands its eye to velvet, and she takes it. there is no thoughts here, no sound, only actions. Cut once more to a coriners room place? ya know the place with dead bodies and tables and shit- anyways a bright light emerges from dead!vevlets chest and surrounds her entire body. *cue stunned doctor mans* Velvet arises from her death with her scars healed over and... wings. Yup shes an angel now. I mean her world already had monsters and things of suppernatural belonging but- angels are rare. She makes 1 of 2 angels in their relam as of current. Angels are "made" from regrets. Regret overflowing from two sources- one long dead and the other recent. This is where ethan comes in. Ethan's regret from how he died was powerful and sad, powerful enough for his spirt- an entity- to reach Velvets. Velvet too, had much regret in her death. So young and so many things that could have been avoided. In the days following up to her death in the barn/cellar she only felt regret. Regret for all she did and all she didnt do. So much pain summoned the entity. Their powerful forces of regret pulled them together and allowed Velvet to return- but at a price for the both of them. the entity lost its eye- symbolizing a loss of humanity and conscientiousness. While Velvet lost herself, she no longer can view her world in the same way. She has severe ptsd- like episodes and halucinations. She cant go back, she has to live through he own grief. Velvets appearnace also changes quite a bit. Her hair got longer, she has two sleek gray wings on her back, and- one of her eyes are purple now. why does it hrut her to see that eye? why is it all so familiar yet far away. Her human brain can hardly understand all the changes. But she was gifted this- she knows she must try. And luckily for her society sees angels as higher beings. They are given the umost respect but they are also greatly feared because of how misterious their origins are. The only other known angel meets with velvet quite alot through her story, he will act as a sort of guide/plot device to make things a bit easier for myself (havent worked out his lore tho or even a design for him hjbfkjsdb). Anyways im tired and its 1:35 am so thats all the lore you get for now, plus its the stuff ive thought about the most so- i dont really want to think any furtherb ahead yet lol. to many little things to work out...... i love creating but oml typing hurts after an hour or so-

Request- Imagine being a worldkiller but diffrent and dating Sam arais and finding out being Ruby's father would include.

Plus being a part of the superfriends and he was in season 3 but go unnoticed expect brainy know's it's R because he is a hero in the future called the eyepatch. He and sam used to date in there teen year but had a nasty break because he was abused by his adopted parents. Which is one of the reasons why they break up because sam didn't know but in season 4 sam found out when brainy tells her. He and sam meet again in season 4. Can you put for the sam arias request for DMC. Can you put that R has a twin brother vergil and a little brother nero and nero's girlfriend kyrie. R's brothers are worldkiller but diffrent as him. After there mom and dad died they were separated and reunited years later.

Growing up you are being abused by your foster parents. Mentally and physically they abuse you every day, you don't understand the hatred they have for you. They tell you that you are worthless and call you horrible names. They only took you in for the government check, they get every month. You never told anyone about the abuse, you felt that is the sign of weakness, not even your girlfriend knows about it.

Your foster dad just beat the crap out of you. Now you are in the bathroom, cleaning the cut on your lip. You are feeling angry and you start to breathe hard. You have your hands on the sink, the angrier you got then you broke the sink. You freaked out because you never did that before. You just punched the mirror now you are bleeding and left the bathroom.

You don't know anything about your biological parents. You got your powers from them but you don't know that. You are figuring everything out on your own, but you are still clueless.

Prom is coming up and you actually stole a single rose from a flower shop before going to school.

You go to school as nothing happened. Sam asked about the cut on your lip, you keep changing the subject. She doesn't know that you are being abused by your foster parents.

”This is for you. Sam; do you want to be my prom date?” You asked with a smile.

She smiled and kissed you.

”Yes, I will be your prom date. I love the rose” Sam said and she can't stop smiling.

[The night of prom]

You and Sam are not having a good time.

”Y/N what is wrong with you?!” Sam asked.

”I don't want to talk about it,” You said.

”You never want to talk about it! I know you are being abused. You arrive at school with bruises on your face. I don't get why you won't tell me so I can help you” Sam said.

”I don't need help or anyone!!” You snapped.

The anger you have bottled up inside has come out. Now you and Sam are arguing back and forth. You don't tell her what your foster parents have been doing for years.

” It's over!” You yelled.

”Are you serious!? Just like that!” Sam yelled.

”Go do whatever you want! I really don’t care. I don't ever want to see your face!!” You yelled.

Sam smacked you hard in the face. You feel your cheek burning and she walked away and you can hear her crying. But you don't stop her and you walked away also.

Since that night you and Sam haven't spoken to each other. She heard rumors that you left town without saying a word. She went home and she starts to cry hard.

{Time Skip}

You and Sam still haven't spoken or seen each other in a very long time. You didn't tell anyone where you went and you didn't keep in touch with anyone. Sam lives in National City and works with Lena Luthor. Sam takes Ruby to the park and she is playing with her friends.

It wasn't long you arrived from the future. You have been through a lot and it feels strange being in the past. You are in the park sitting on the bench and you start to sketch in your book.

Much later, you start to put your stuff away and you saw a girl's soccer game. Ruby's team won and the other player on the other team kicked the ball because they lost and it hit you in the face. Your nose starts to bleed, Sam ran towards you.

”Are you okay?” Sam asked.

You looked up and her eyes opened wide.

”God, you are old” You teased.

Sam laughed then she punched your arm.

”Well, I'm glad you have a broken nose,” Sam said.

She gave you a napkin and you start to clean your nose.

”It’s been a long time,” You said.

”Yes it has. We need to talk” Sam said.

”We can do that,” You said.

Your nose still hurts but it's healing. You meet up with Sam at the park. You bought coffee for Sam and you two start to walk.

”Tell me what have you been up to, and don't leave anything out,” Sam said.

”First I want to say I'm sorry what happened on prom night. I'm really sorry for hurting you” You said.

”I'm sorry too and I forgive you,” Sam said.

”Once I left, I started to travel and find my place. Turns out I have two brothers and we have bee separated and our parents passed away. We have a relationship now which is good. Now I'm a lawyer and I just moved to National City, a few weeks ago with my brothers” You said.

You do want to tell her that you and your brothers are world killers, but not in public.

”I work with Lena Luthor at her company. After I graduated high school, I moved away right away. I used to live in Metropolis and... Um, I...-”

Sam wanted to tell you that you have a daughter, but your cell phone starts to ring.

”It’s my brother. I have to go but I want to meet up with you again” You said.

”I will like that, Y/N,” Sam said and smiled.

You meet up with your brothers Vergil and Nero. They are the reason you know about your powers and your parents. You and brothers work together saving people, you were in the future with them.

”Bro, Supergirl and her friends need our help,” Nero said.

”With what?” You asked.

”To stop the other world killers. Are we going to do it?” Nero said.

You and your brothers do try to have a normal life and help other heroes when they need help.

��Yeah, let's do it. So, when we will meet Sam?” Vergil said.

You and brothers start to get ready.

”Not sure yet. But I will ask if she wants to meet you two” You said.

You and brothers arrived in time to help Supergirl. The other world killers are trying to kill Sam and Ruby.

Supergirl and her friends are having a hard time stopping them.

”About time you three show up” Alex said.

”Better late than sorry” Nero said.

”Wait, I thought it was better late than never?” You asked.

”I think Y/N is correct. Nero, it's not sorry” Vergil said.

”Guys not right now!” Alex yelled.

”All of you are a joke” Julia Freeman said.

”That’s rude” Vergil said.

”Let’s kill them” Pestilence said.

You take out your Devil Sword Sparda and you are ready to fight. Vergil takes out his Yamato; his katana and Nero takes out his Blue Rose is a multi-barreled revolver that shoots powerful bullets.

You or them don't listen to Kara and Alex’s plan. Pestilence was going to kill Sam but you jumped in and blocked Pestilence’s attack with your sword.

”Sorry, Sam I didn't tell you but I will explain later” You said.

”You better after we get out of here alive” Sam said.

Sam isn't mad that you didn't tell her, because she has a secret also. Your brothers start to help Alex and Kara fight the evil world killers. You made sure they didn't hurt Sam and Ruby.

”Take them out of here!” Kara yelled.

”Follow me,” You said to Sam and Ruby.

You take them somewhere safe and Nero just arrived. You and Nero look around to make sure the world killers won't kill them.

”Don’t say it!” Nero said.

”Say what?” You lied.

Vergil and Nero hate when you say the word ’jackpot’ and you do it on purpose.

”Jackpot! We are safe” You said.

”You jerk” Nero said.

At the DEO, Sam and Ruby are doing fine. Your brothers went to the alien bar and you went to see Sam. Alex and Kara are happy for the help you and Brothers did. You and Sam stare at each other without saying a word.

”How are you doing?” You asked.

”We are doing fine, thanks to you and the others. Y/N, this is Ruby” Sam said.

”Hi” Ruby said.

”Hi,” You said to her.

Ruby left the room for a moment.

”Y/N, when did you even had powers?” Sam said.

You scratch the back of your neck.

”I’m a world killer but not like them. In high school, I had the powers but I couldn't explain it. When I met my brothers they explained to me about my powers and my birth parents. I didn't tell you because I thought you would think I'm insane” You said.

”Y/N... I have tell to you something important” Sam said.

Sam was going to tell you the secret but Kara walked in to check up on her. You leave to meet up with your brothers.

It's game night and everyone is ready to play and have fun. You went without your brothers, Nero is with his girlfriend kyrie and Vergil is with his friends.

”Y/N, it's you. I thought I wouldn't see you again” Brainy said.

”You two know each other?” Kara asked.

”Yeah, we worked together a very long time ago” You said.

”He helped my team in the future. He is a hero in the future called the eye patch. You are back for good?” Brainy said.

”Yeah. The future was fun but I knew we couldn't stay forever” You said.

Everyone starts to play Jenga later started to play Uno. Everyone is having fun and eating chips and pizza. But Sam is not having a good time, she hasn't told you the secret.

”Y/N, can we talk in private?” Sam asked.

”Yeah sure” You said.

You and Sam go somewhere private.

Sam takes a deep breath and she is ready to tell you.

”Ruby is your daughter. After that night we had our fight, I found out I was pregnant the next day. I looked for you but you already left town” Sam said.

Your eyes opened wide and you are speechless. Words didn't come out of you mouth, you didn't know what to say.

”I-I-I have a Daugther!?” You said very loud

”Well the condom broke” Sam said.

”What!?” You said quickly with a high pitch voice.

”Y/N forget about the condom" Sam said.

"Well I may as well have!" You yelled.

She rolls her eyes at you.

"I'm indignant as a consumer” You said.

”Let's talk later, Y/N” Sam said.

”No, I want to talk now in fact I want to talk to the president of the condom company” You said.

You grabbed your phone and started to dial.

”Yes I'll press one,” You said.

”Idiot” Sam mumbled to herself.

Sam did tell Ruby about it and she was in shock. You are feeling nervous to meet your daughter, your brothers wanted to meet her but you said next time. It was awkward at first meeting Ruby. In this situation, you didn't know what to do. But you do know that you will never put Ruby what you been through with your foster parents put you through.

You and Sam had to explain why you weren't around.

”What do I call you?” Ruby asked.

”You can call me by my name, if you are comfortable with that” You said.

”I guess,” Ruby said.

You did answer any questions she had, she believed what you said. She calls you by your name because she isn't used to calling you ’dad’ you understood that.

”You won't leave?” Ruby asked.

”What do you mean?” You asked.

”I mean, will you stay for a long time and not abandon me and mom?” Ruby said.

”Oh. Ruby, I know I wasn't around since you were a baby but this time I will be around every day to spend time with you. I won't ever leave you or your mom, I promise” You said.

You and Ruby play laser tag, Ruby is having a good time. She can't stop smiling or laughing. You and Ruby go out to eat pizza unexpectedly you run into your brothers. You introduced them to Ruby. You and your brothers buy more food and drinks and go home.

You are teaching Ruby on how to use the Yamato sword.

”This is so cool! I never had a sword before” Ruby said and smiled.

”Don't have your arm too low, the enemy can easily kill you” You said.

You show her how high to hold the sword. Sam came over to check on you and Ruby, but she didn't like that Ruby is using a sword.

”Y/N why would teach her how to use a sword!” Sam yelled at you.

”I’m teaching Ruby how to defend herself, just relax,” You said.

Sam is angry about it. You and Sam start to argue in front of everyone.

”Guys, don't argue in front of Ruby,” Vergil said.

”Ruby put the sword away and get your stuff we are leaving,” Sam said.

”Okay, mom,” Ruby said.

She gave you the sword back and Ruby went to get her stuff.

”I’m trying to be her friend,” You said.

”Y/N, you can't be her friend. You have to be a father, not a friend, she has enough friends. You can't do reckless stuff with her around, what if she got hurt!?” Sam yelled.

”I would have dial 911! I know what I am doing!” You yelled.

You and Sam start to yell at each other again.

”Shut up!!! Y/N, Sam is right you can't be her friend. And Sam, he isn't alone in this of being a dad, Nero, and I will help him be a dad” Vergil said.

You walked away without saying a word and Nero went after you.

”Sam, give him time. This is all new for him, he doesn't know-how to be a dad” Vergil said.

”But what about his foster dad, Robert? He was raised by him” Sam said.

After a while decorating and setting up the speakers, you rushed home to shower and change clothes. You left to pick up Sam and Ruby. Since you found out that you have a daughter, you and Ruby started to build a bond.

”You look very beautiful,” You said.

”Thanks, Dad,” Ruby said.

She hugged you and she takes pictures with you. You see Sam come out wearing a beautiful dress and you smiled.

”You are beautiful,” You said.

She blushed.

”You look handsome,” Sam said.

”Ready to go?” You asked.

”Yeah, we are ready,” Sam said.

Everyone came to the party with their dates. Even Nero's girlfriend kyrie came to the party. Everyone starts to take pictures together and the music starts to play.

”The reason, I did this because I wanted to make it up to you,” You said.

”Y/N, it means a lot you did this. I know we both didn't have a good time at prom, but this makes it up for it. I'm glad to be your date” Sam said.

She kissed you and she can't stop smiling.

The next day, you and Sam went to City Hall. Ruby and your brothers also went to be the witness, because you and Sam are getting married. Once you and Sam kissed they started to cheer. You and Sam can’t stop smiling at each other and Ruby start to take pictures.

”I want to be with you forever and raise Ruby,” You said.

”I can't believe I’m stuck with you forever” Sam joked.

You and Sam laughed and she kissed you.

The team was having lunch. Today Dick decided he would cook his “special food” that he used to do in Sundays, maybe Bruce Wayne not only taught fighting lesson but also cooking ones. You and Dick stared at each other during lunch, looks that would usually go unnoticed by some of titans. The truth is,the both of you had this “love at first sight” thing since the beginning, but for many reasons you hid it. Maybe it was the fact that you both had been raised together, -you were 17 when you met and he was just turning 21- or maybe it was the fact that the more people knowing about you two, the more chances it gave your enemies a chance to attack you, because you’re each other’s weakness. Dick wouldn’t bare seeing you hurt, just like you’d do everything to protect him. You two have spent many nights together; many secret kisses were shared in the rooftops of Gotham, in batmobile, in Titans tower, in each other’s bedroom’s. He was your first, your one and only.

Bruce could notice how much Dick would complain about sending you in dangerous missions. Dawn and Hank had also noticed the times Dick would prepare coffee for you. They realized how careful and caring Dick was with you. “Maybe it’s a bat family thing” they thought, but it definitely wasn’t. You were talking about Bruce, while having lunch, the conversation was interrupted when Dick’s cell phone rang; he immediately looked at Y/N. “Bruce” the screen showed.

Dick left the table so he could talk with a little more privacy, after all Bruce’s calls were never to see how were you doing, it was more a “i need your help right now” type of call.

“Hey, Bruce, what’s up?” Dick said when he got to the balcony.

“Hey son, it’s a Justice League thing. We need your help, don’t bring Y/N or Jason, or any of the Titans. Only Nightwing is needed.” Bruce said in his particular dark tone. Dick understood that he needed to talk to you about this mission in private. He knew that if it were you in this situation, he would like to know.

After lunch, once everyone went on their way, Dick looked at you nodding his head towards the bedrooms, he muttered a “need to talk to you”. You went first, throwing the excuse that you needed to clean up your suit. A little later, Dick followed saying that he needed to train.

[3:40 p.m, Titans Tower, Dick’s bedroom]

“Hey love, what’s up? Was it Bruce in the phone?” You asked him and kissed himt, enjoying this little time alone.

“Yeah, it was him. I needed to talk to you now because the League need me to go on a mission. Apparently it’s the Riddler again. According to Bruce’s words he's wreaking havoc in Gotham..” Dick took a deep breath “He asked me to go alone, I can’t take you or any of us, unfortunately” He looked down.

“Go D, they really need you. But please, be careful. It kills me to think about you getting hurt. Riddler is crazy. He can be pretty dangerous.” You told him with fear because you knew he needed to go, he could never ignore a call from Bruce.

Dick gives you a hug and you can feel him breathing next to your hair. He loved the smell of your shampoo.

“Nightwing will be back in one piece baby.” He touched your forehead with his and kissed you, deeply. You couldn’t say you were okay with this, but you would pray for him to come back home safe.

“I love you.” Dick said

“I love you, D, come back to me fast. I’ll wait for you awake”, you answered looking into his eyes, those bright brown eyes, they shined for you,and only you.

. You were interrupted when Jason opened the door. To say the boy was crushing on you was an understatement. Ever since Bruce adopted him, he had acted as your shadow practically. following you around and complimenting you after every mission. Teenage love you and Dick would say. Sadly for jason you couldn't return the feelings. you'd been in love with Dick since day one, since you two were kids and you felt like that could never change.

You two had already separated from the hug. Dick hands were on his jeans pockets while you crossed them. Jason was confused as to why you were here.

“What are you both doing here? We are all in the living room” he inquired.

You wait for Dick to answer but he couldn't think of anything to say, so you answered instead.

“I was telling Dick that Bruce send him some files, about the mission he’s supposed to go to”, you answered because nothing more convincing came into your mind.

“Yeah, bro, i will be leaving for Gotham in 20 minutes.” Dick said with a half smile.

“Good luck in your mission Dickie”. You left the bedroom and head into the living room.

When all of you were there, Dick appeared with his suitcase, jacket and phone.

You had left him a message:

“Call me when you get there, D, i’ll be waiting for you. Kick Riddler’s ass. Love ya, Blue Bird”

He smiled to the screen and winked at you. Everyone wished Dick a good mission.You could only wait now, that and participate in the game that Hank had just started. But then you felt someone holding your arm.

“Hey Y/N, since Dick’s not here, do you want to train with me ?” Jason asked you

“Hey Jay, i’m having cramps today, i just want to ret maybe later, but thank you for the invitation” ,you said and left to your room.

[6 p.m, TitansTower]

Your phone rang and your screen lit up with the photo you took of Dick and yourself a few years ago. He was calling you.

“I’m sorry guys, I have to take this ” you said to the titans who were still playing in living room and head for the balcony. Hank and Dawn look to each other suspiciously.

“Hey, love, how’s it going?” You asked Dick .

“I just arrived in Gotham, baby, i’m heading to the Wayne manor right now, we still have to discuss the plan before jumping into action. Everything is okay, the city is dark as ever but don't worry. I’ll be calling you when we’re done with him.”

Dick said. You say goodbye to each other and you wait. Now the only thing you could do is wait

[11 p.m, Titans Tower]

When the game ended, you all stayed in the living room. Today San Francisco was quiet, so the titans didn’t have to go out. After all, even heroes needed to rest, right?

Rachel was laying in the couch while Gar and Connor played their Xbox game. You and the old titans were sitting in the table and having some beers. But your head wasn’t here in the tower, it was in Gotham City, with Dick. He hadn’t call after your first talk earlier and you hoped everything was fine.

“Earth to Y/N , hello” Donna plays with you, and you all laughed.

“I’m sorry, Donn, I got lost in my thoughts, what were we talking about?” You asked, ashamed to be honest because you didn’t have idea about what they were talking. Hank was about to talk when you were interrupted by the main door opening and revealing a bloodied Nightwing, you got up hurriedly, instantly following to his side . All eyes were on Dick now. after all, he didn’t looked good.

“Dick, are you okay?” You asked

“Yeah, i’m good” He told you with a half smile, walking towards the room. You knew he wasn’t okay, he was quiet and his hands were on his stomach.

“You’re sure, bro?” Hank asked

“Totally, I’ll be in my bedroom, i’ll be back here in a minute.”

Dick said and left, right to his room. You knew he was lying, but maybe he was just tired. You would give him some space. He would come back in a minute, just like he said. At least that’s what you thought, thirty minutes and still nothing about Dick . Your face couldn’t lie even though you tried. Jason stopped the conversation to ask you:

“Why the long face, Y/N?”

“Dick hasn’t come back yet.” You answered.

“Why are you worrying so much? It’s not like he never got hurt before.” Jason complained with a huff, he couldn’t hide how jealous he was about Dick. He Always seemed to have your attention and to him? Only hugs of brotherhood.

“Fuck off, Jason, you know nothing.” You stormed out of the living room going right into Dick’s bedroom.

“Baby?” You asked , but the answer never came, so you looked to the floor to see drops of blood. “What the hell?” you ask yourself. You entered the bathroom and there was Dick, seating in the floor leaning on the wall. His hands were covered in blood because he was stopping the bloodstream that was coming from his stomach. He wasn’t awake anymore, It made you panic. “Baby, wake up” you shake his face. No answer

“HANK! HANK, IT’S DICK, PLEASE HELP ME” you yelled, you were crying now, Dick wasn’t fine, it wasn’t a simple bruise, it was deeper.

Hank appeared in the bath in like 5 seconds.

“Fuck. This dumbass loves a dramatic entrance, doesn’t he?” he said annoyed.

“Help me to take him to infirmary, Hank, please, fast.” you begged.

Donna came in after hearing all the commotion “What’s happening? Dick told us he was fine” She asked, and all the titans were in the door. Gar helped Hank and told him that it’s okay, they will take him to the infirmary room.

When you got there, they laid Dick in the hospital bed and administered morphine in his veins. He should be going through a lot of pain.

Kory entered the room- “What’s going on with him?” She was out with some tamaranean friend, you everyone thought they had something. Who knows.

“He was in Gotham, in a mission and he came back like this, we’re giving pain medication and antibiotics, Y/N already cleaned the cut and sutured it. Hank said.

Dick was sleeping now, medicated, he should be awake in a few hours, but you wouldn’t leave him.

“I’ll be staying here with him.” you said firmly.

“You should sleep, we have a mission tomorrow, Y/N” Jason said.

“I’m sure the people of san Francisco will be fine with just us Jason, don’t be such a pain in the ass” Donna said and winked at you. Donna has always known, deep in her heart, about you two, but choose not to tell anythig. They left and you sat in the chair close to the bed and waited, you just couldn’t leave his side.

“Look at us, we are such good actors because i don’t understand how can i hide from everyone that you’re mine, that you’ve been mine since ever and that i love you. I just don’t know how we spent all this time sleeping apart.”

He caressed the skin of your legs and kissed your neck from behind while you two were laid down in your bed in the Wayne Manor. You and him were in Gotham to help Bruce. He had escaped his room to be with you. And now you were there, naked, covered by a tiny blanket, talking about this”

“I don’t wanna put you in danger, D, but at the same time i want to hold your hand and kiss you without hiding.”

You remembered. Then you feel him touching your hand. He was finally awake.

“Hey baby, it looks like i’m not that good, i’m sorry” Dick said with a weak voice.

“D, i was so worried. Why didn’t you tell us you were really hurt? You almost killed me, there was a lot a blood and i thought..” you cried.

He interrupted you by taking your face into his hands and kissed you deeply, he was fine and with you, this is all that mattered now.

“Sleep here with me, please.” He asked you, you thought about your secret relationship, and how no one knew, but seeing Dick so weak and bruised you just thought “screw it” it was time for them to know.

Days passed by and Dick was much better, the first days were hard because the wound was big, but he is the strongest person you know. You were by his side at all times, Jason didn't like it one bit,he was jealous 100% of the time but he would understand why you took care of Dick. You’ve done it many times in the past. You and Dick had decided to tell them during lunch.

“Guys, I need to talk to you .” You said, looking at each one of them. You were sitting on Dick’s side and he grabbed your hand. Jason’s face turned dark. He didn't like where this was going.

“Dick and I are together.” You take a deep breath “It was hard to keep it a secret but we needed, for many reasons, but what happened to him these days made me realize that i almost lost him, and i just couldn’t keep you guys in the dark” you said, “i guess you noticed how crazy i got when i saw him in the bathroom covered in blood” you added.

“I knew it, I always knew it, since Y/N came in Wayne Manor i noticed Dick had changed, for good. But you guys never really said it out loud so i ignored, but the day you were wounded, Dick, she was panicking, keep her, bro, she loves you” Donna said smiling at both of you.

“Jaybird, I’m sorry, bro, we didn’t force it, it just happen” Dick smiled talking to Jason.

“If you love each other i’m good with this, really. I wish you all the happiness in the world. But you’re still the prettiest one, Y/N” Jason said and laugh

“Hey, careful” Dick says and you all laugh. You were happy because after all, the day ended up in a good way.

They managed to make an appointment with Michael’s ob-gyn, Dr. Whittaker for the following Thursday. In the next couple days, Craig was a bundle of excitement. He spent some time upstairs, trying to decide whether he should have the new child sleep in River’s room with her or whether they should convert the spare room into a second nursery. Michael thought that it was a bit early to be planning anything until they knew how far along he was, but he honestly loved how ecstatic the idea of having another child made his bro. He remembered his first interaction with Joseph and how he had joked that anyone with more than 2 kids had to be crazy. Now he worried whether he might be crazy himself. They had Amanda, who was in college. They had the twins, who were in elementary school. River would be 2 by the time he gave birth, she’d be starting to walk and talk and everything.

He hoped that it was a boy, honestly. They had 4 girls already. And he loved all of them (especially Amanda, but who could blame him? He raised her himself), but he honestly was curious as to what it would be like to have a son (whether he was born that way or came out later in life). He could imagine Craig teaching him how to play sports the way he taught his daughters how to play softball (he only knew the basics about soccer, which was enough to kick the ball around with the girls). He saw himself and Amanda teaching him to be a rebellious rascal.

They hadn’t told the kids yet. It was still too soon. That said, nearly everyone who saw Craig knew that he was even more happy and boisterous than he usually was. It was infectious, really. His personal apprehension at being pregnant again was mitigated somewhat by his bro’s enthusiasm. He honestly could not have asked for a better partner to have another child with. He knew, of course, that there were lots of people who had children later in life and were completely fine. But he had lived so long with the message that pregnancy was dangerous later in life that he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was going to go wrong. It was a huge help that Craig’s boundless optimism and enthusiasm for the situation was so predominant.

By the time the day of the ob-gyn appointment arrived, Michael was a lot steadier and calmer than he had been when he first received the positive result. Craig went with him, of course. For moral support. The official test echoed the over-the-counter tests and Michael’s doctor, Dr. Whittaker, did a general health assessment to determine the risk of complication during the pregnancy. Michael, it turned out, was about 4 or 5 weeks pregnant.

“You seem much healthier than the last time you scheduled a visit with us,” she remarked. “I’m generally optimistic about your prognosis.”

“So there’s no risk?” Michael asked.

“Well there’s always some risk,” she said. “but I would say that your risk is largely minimal.”

“See, dude?” Craig beamed. “All that running and working out is paying off.”

“Your workout regimen should be scaled back, however,” Dr. Whittaker said. “Don’t overdo it.”

“How much are we talking, here?” Craig asked.

“30 minutes of moderate exercise at least 4 days a week is ideal,” she said. “Avoid heavy lifting. Avoid overheating while working out and saunas, hot tubs, and the like. Yoga sessions for pregnant people would be an excellent option.”

They asked some a few more questions, when around the baby would be born, when they could find out the sex, dieting suggestions to help ensure Michael’s health. When they were done, she handed them a schedule that had visits twice a month every month for the first 6 months and then every week for the last 3 months. As they left the office, Michael felt more optimistic about the situation than he had in days. He was actually a little excited to be pregnant again.

2 weeks after the ob-gyn visit, Michael decided the worst part about being pregnant, aside from the whole throwing up every morning thing, was that he had to limit his intake of caffeine. Which was sort of okay so far, since he hadn’t started feeling tired all the time, but he really hated not being able to drink coffee when he woke up in the morning so he could go into the world without hating literally everyone. The first time Craig said early in the morning that water was better for you anyway, Michael glared groggy, sleepy daggers at him over a mug of said water.

Pregnancy sucks, he thought, sitting at his work desk bitterly wishing he could go get some fucking coffee. He was just tired. All. The. Time. Amanda didn’t give me this much trouble, he tried to telepathically communicate to their little hybrid bro growing in his uterus. Please have mercy on me.

When he was pregnant with Amanda he hadn’t actually been that tired for most of the pregnancy. Just the last month or so. Which was hell, but that was expected. These days, the only way he woke up was by running to the bathroom early in the morning.

He sighed and got back to work. And by work, he meant thinking up baby names for the baby because it was a slow day at the firm and he had finished all the busy work he had for the day. On the sheet of paper in front of him he had a column for boy names and one for girl names. The list of boy names was longer. Bryce. Dakota. Jeremy. Jordan. Aiden. Liam. Julian. Samuel. Landon. Adrian. Brayden. Bryson. Easton. Nolan. Hayden. Leo. Jayce. Chase (the potential for puns would be amazing). Elias. Evan. Asher. Malcolm. Simon. Cameron. Mark. Hunter. Mason. Grayson.

I should really go to human services and tell them that I’m pregnant so no one will be surprised by my frequent need to pee or see my doctor, he thought. That’ll burn, like 30 minutes of my time if I’m lucky. He looked at the clock. 2:30. Maybe I can just leave early to pick up the kids and go home. Yeah, that sounds like a plan.

Craig got home later that night to find no one home. There was evidence of the twins. Their backpacks were on the kitchen table, homework looked done. But they were nowhere to be found. Finally he heard laughing outside from the back yard and he went out to find his bro and tiny bros running around kicking a soccer ball in the dark with the porch lights on. Michael was carrying River around strapped to his chest, going a little more slowly than his girls so he wouldn’t exert himself. Craig just watched them play for a while. He could get used to seeing his bro and tiny bros running around together. It was a beautiful thing.

Eventually one of them looked up and shouted, “Dad’s home!” They ran up to him and he knelt and grabbed them in one big hug, kissing their heads.

“Hey tiny bros,” he said. “How was school, today?”

“Briar ate a bug at recess,” Hazel said. “It was awesome!”

“Nuh-uh!” she protested. “Hazel ate a bug and she’s trying to pin it on me!”

“Hazel…” Craig said. “What have I told you about impersonating your sister?”

“That it was impulsive and rude?” she asked.

“Yes exactly,” Craig replied. “Except the exact phrase I used was, ‘don’t.”

“I’m so proud of you,” Michael said. “Of your dad, not you Hazel. Don’t impersonate your sister.”

Craig let them go and stood up to kiss his bro. “How are you feeling, bro? How was work?”

Michael sighed into the kiss. “It was boring. I’m tired. I miss coffee. I looked up some baby names.”

“Oh yeah, bro?” he asked, grinning. “Gimme a minute to change and get started on dinner. I wanna hear what you got.”

Craig changed out of his business suit. Michael got out the paper with his list of names and read them aloud as he helped Craig cook dinner. And by help, he mostly just chopped vegetables to throw into the spaghetti. Craig listened and occasionally commented on ones he liked (not surprisingly, he liked any and all nature names). When he was done, Craig produced his list of names and they compared notes.

“Craig, bro, babe, I’m not calling my child Forrest,” Michael insisted.

“What’s wrong with Forrest?” Craig asked. “Forests are awesome!”

“Until you get lost in one,” Michael countered, chopping some mushrooms.

“Whatever, bro. Nature is cool. Nature names are cool,” Craig said. “And may I remind you of how we started dating in the first place?”

“I’m not saying I disagree with you, just not with Forrest,” Michael replied. “And if you ask me, that’s all the more reason to not name our child that. Who wants to be named after the place where their parents first had sex? That would scar them.”

“Bro, I think we need a third opinion.”

“YOU’RE PREGNANT????” Amanda said calmly over the video chat thing. “Skype” the twins had called it. “POPS, I DEMAND TO KNOW WHY I WASN’T THE FIRST TO KNOW!!! Or, you know, at least the second. But why am I JUST NOW hearing about this?”

“Well…” Michael said, “I was nervous about the whole thing so I didn’t want to tell you/make a general announcement until we were a few months along.”

“I can respect that,” Amanda replied. “How far are you along, anyway?”

“The doctor figures I’m about 6-7 weeks pregnant,” he said.

Amanda nodded. “Yeah, I can see why you didn’t want to say anything. So what do you need my opinion on? I’m not giving up my room for the new kid.”

“No worries Manda Panda,” Michael said. “We already moved all your stuff back to the old house.”

“Wait, really?” she said. “Then hell yeah the kid can have my room! I’ll have loud, obnoxious parties all summer and adopt, like 6 dogs!”

“Nope, sorry kiddo,” Craig said. “We’re converting the spare room into another nursery. Briar and Hazel will room together.”

“Well, as long as I get my own space, I’m happy,” she said. “What’s the question, now that we’ve gotten off topic?”

“If the kid turns out to be a boy,” Michael said, “Craig wants to name him Forrest.”

“No.” Amanda said. “My little brother will not be named Forrest.”

“What do you two have against Forrest?” Craig demanded.

“It’s kind of a boring name. No offense, Craig” Amanda said.

“Thanks, Manda Panda,” Michael said.

“We have to name him something nature themed,” Craig said. “I got a whole thing going with my kids.”

“Craig, I hate to break it to you,” Michael said, “but most nature names are feminine names.”

“So?”

“So even though I’m all for breaking the gender binary,” he explained, “I also know what it’s like to be misgendered and I don’t want that for my kids, bro.”

Craig thought for a moment. “I get where you’re coming from, bro,” he said. “I didn’t think about that.”

Michael laid a hand on his. “We have plenty of time to figure out a name, bro,” he said. “We’ll figure it out.”

This Is My Mission... (Short Story)

[NIGHT OF NOVEMBER 20]

Boy 1: Tsk tsk tsk… Hey brother! it seems like you are forgetting something, aren’t you?

Boy 2: Oh, I’m sorry, there will be a slight delay but promise, I really promise, I will pay you next week. That’s for sure.

Boy 1: Shit! Are you kidding me?! Really, I’ve heard you keep on saying “next week” for so many times now. I won’t accept that anymore this time!

Boy 2: Please, I’m begging you please, give me another chance. We’ve been friends for years now and I know that you know that I will not run away from you.

Boy 1: Stop with your nonsense! That won’t work anymore. Brother, mind me, I’m giving you 24 hours; If you still be won’t able to pay, I will kill your live-in partner, and that includes your expected first child. The clock is ticking, tik tok tik tok…

[The next morning]

It was a painful morning for Salve dela Cruz found out that after more than five years together, her live-in partner left. One of the probable reasons of the man’s departure was Salve’s pregnancy with their first child, but Salve cannot draw conclusions since their relationship was still okay that night. Salve could not help but cry; she told herself to be stronger not only for herself but also for her child in the future. She realized that chasing after her child’s father will not make a difference. From that time on, she strived hard and pursued her life by setting up their own “sari-sari store” within their vicinity with the help of her Parents, Ronaldo and Celeste. Her parents never showed dismay over their daughter, they really supported Salve especially now that she will be a single parent. She was two months pregnant when her live-in partner left.

The year 1991 went well to Salve and her family, their business venture eventually expanded and their income was already enough to make a living. Salve was too excited for her child so she and her parents decided to consult an OB-Gyne doctor to conduct an ultrasound.

Salve: Hi Doc. So, what’s the result of the ultrasound?

Doctor: This is great news! Congrats Ms. dela Cruz because you won’t just expect a child but you will be expecting your first children. Yes, you heard it right, children, because you will be expecting identical twins which are both boys. Again Ms. dela Cruz, congratulations!

Salve: Thank you, thank you so much, Doc!

[June 15, 1991]

It was time of the year, it was the birth of the twin brothers. Salve named the twins Ramil and Araullo dela Cruz. Minutes later, literally minutes later, an unexpected event happened; one of the active volcanoes in the Philippines again erupted after many years of being dormant. Mount Pinatubo is erupting once again. Salve and her family panicked because of the sudden incident; Salve, with her babies, and with the help of her parents and some of their neigbors, ran their ways to the nearest evacuation center. Chaos arise and also because of Salve’s frustration, she became unconscious that one of his sons, Ramil, got lost.

Salve: Ma… Pa… where’s Ramil???!!! Have you seen him? Ma… Paaaaa!!!

Ronaldo: What are you talking about? You brought him with you right?

Celeste: Help!!!!

On the bright side, one of the miners on the site of Zambales saw Ramil and saved him eventually. He carried the baby with him and had plans of bringing it home with him to Manila. It was a blessing in disguise for newly-weds Crisanto Ramos and Aurora Go-Ramos. They named the lost child, Ramon.

[26 years after]

Araullo is in the works of achieving his dream, to become a priest in the town of San Diego which is near Iloilo City, Visayas. Araullo, her mother, and his grandparents left Zambales and transferred to the town of San Diego for good. On the other hand, Araullo’s twin Ramil or now known as ‘Ramon’, is having a good life with his adoptive parents in Manila. He is now an heir of a multinational logistics company based in Makati City. Following the path of his dreams of being a police officer, he is now ready for his duty as one of the new members of PNP’s Special Action Force. As expected, he turned out to be the typical “chickboy”, “rich kid”, and “spoiled brat”. He is currently in a relationship with his 17th girlfriend.

Araullo, with his bestfriend Paquito, are now ordained and officially one of the new priests in San Diego Parish. Paquito is Araullo’s good friend since high school. Coming from the Catholic school adjacent to the San Diego Parish, the two were really vocal of their goal of serving the Lord ever since and one of their inspirations was Rev. Fr. Macario Dionisio. Fr. Macario, the parish priest is highly regarded for his dedication to the church and many people admire him for how he administers the parish which has a good reputation ever since his tenure. He also serves as the school principal of San Diego Catholic School where Araullo and Paquito graduated high school. Fr. Macario has been so proud to what the two have achieved at a very young age.

Ramon is now officially a SAF member with the help of his best friend’s father who is the PNP chief. He is very close to his best friend, Raul Tandingan. They have been childhood friends.

The head of PNP Special Action Force assigned members to different parts of the country to watch out and support the president’s War on Drugs program. Ramon and Raul are assigned in Iloilo City. It was already curfew hours when one night, they decided to roam around to monitor the vicinity but they were drunk. The two spotted a 17-year-old high school student who went home late because of a group project. Knowing the fact that the two was drunk, they were out of their minds. They approached the teenager and interrogated him.

Raul: Hey boy!!! Where are you going? It’s getting late.

Student: *frustrated* Uh... uh… Siiiirr, sorry we did a group project and we ended late.

Ramon: Really? Ha ha ha! Are you kidding, huh?

*BANG*

Later on, Ramon abruptly dragged his gun and fired it at the teenager. Raul didn’t believe on what he saw and out of frustration, he didn’t know what to do.

Raul: Fuck! Ramon, why did you do it??? We’re in so much trouble.

Ramon: What’s the sense of having your dad as the PNP Chief? Use your brain, bro!

They put a sachet of “ecstasy” inside the student’s bag to make an opposite story out of it.

The death of that student became the talk of the town the morning after. The incident was reviewed in the CCTV and the authorities found out that SAF members Ramon and Raul were the people behind it. The two thought of an idea on how to escape their problem; Ramon suggested that they will play dead so that they can return to Manila as immediately as possible. The scene should show that they were shot themselves to death right after the incident. So, prior to the enactment of their supposed scene, Raul suddenly shot Ramon and called his back up to throw Ramon’s body to Marawi City in Mindanao. Things were good as planned by Raul. It was revealed that he had been jealous to Ramon for many years now especially that Ramon’s current girlfriend is the girl he also likes. Upon hearing the news, the authorities still continued on their investigation.

The police assigned on the case SPO2 Juanito Reyes, who lives in the town of San Diego, attended the Sunday mass with his family in San Diego Parish and upon communion, he saw Araullo on the church’s sanctuary, he even pinched himself in thoughts of maybe he is just dreaming. After moments of pinches, he realized that what he is seeing is real, he mistakenly recognized Araullo as Ramon, his twin brother.

Authorities seek the help of the church and went through further interrogation. SPO2 Reyes suspected that Ramon disguised as a priest and went to the nearby towns (Iloilo City is near the town of San Diego). They presented evidences and CCTV footages to Fr. Macario and to Fr. Araullo as well and for them, it was enough evidence. Since only Araullo, his mother Salve, and his family were the only people who know about his twin brother who got lost on the day of their birth itself, there are no official and sufficient records to support that fact. It was concluded that he just pretended that he died and disguised as a priest.

The church and the whole town of San Diego became very disappointed to him especially now that Fr. Macario and other churchgoers really admire him for his great dedication. Because of this issue, many people doubted the church and some even accused Fr. Macario and other officials of obstruction of justice. Araullo was put into jail, but he never loses hope, all he did was just to pray every day and he wants justice to be served.

He confidently attended hearings to prove his innocence until the court caught the attention of Ramon’s adoptive parents. Engr. Crisanto Ramos stated in court the real identity of Ramon, that he saved him during the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991. His testimony matched with the provided facts and it weaken the accusation against Fr. Araullo. Unexpectedly, Salve noticed that the name of Ramon’s adoptive father sounds familiar.

Salve: Ma, am I right? Did I hear it right? Crisanto Ramos?

Celeste: Oh my!!!

Ronaldo: Salve, isn’t he the father of your children?

Salve: Gosh, you’re right, Pa. What a coincidence! Why is this happening?

Celeste: Haayy, I now believe in destiny. Imagine, Araullo’s twin brother is with his real father.

Salve and Crisanto had the chance to talk. There were episodes of tears, regrets, and resentments. It was Crisanto who is the biological father of Araullo and Ramon or Ramil in the realest sense. He married Aurora Go, daughter of one of the richest Chinese-Filipinos in the country, mainly for money and to fulfill his plans of being an engineer. Crisanto cannot believe that they boy he saved from the explosion incident turns out to be his real son.

Crisanto: I admit. I became too selfish and didn’t think of you and our children. I’m so sorry, Salve.

Salve: Forget it. It’s all in the past. There are more important things we should work on for now. I’m happy for you.

Crisanto: Me too. Thank you for raising a responsible and God-fearing son. By the way, can I talk to Araullo?

Araullo’s case was dismissed but the investigation goes on but now they are investigating Raul, Ramon’s best friend. There are patterns of evidence that show motives of Raul’s involvement on the supposed death of Ramon.

Investigations on SAF member Raul Tandigan are going. Araullo goes back to the parish and continued his service.

Early 2017, when the news on Maute Group and other terrorist groups invading the City of Marawi broke. Brave enough, Araullo wanted to go to Marawi City to help and give guidance to the victims there. His parents, his parish, and the whole San Diego community disapprove of this decision but it’s him who has the final say. He went to Marawi City, saw the heartbreaking situation of the people there. Many children, senior citizens, and other people were depressed, some had nervous breakdowns, some wounded, some died. It was a challenge for Araullo but he managed to offer help and give what the victims need.

One day, a very unusual situation happened when he noticed that one of the terrorists and him exactly looked the same. He later realized that maybe it was his twin brother and the speculations of his death were not true. Not only him noticed it but many of the people there had attempts to ask him about it or were speculating that maybe it was Araullo’s alter-ego or maybe it’s the opposite. It was a bloody night when Araullo and Ramon finally met.

Araullo: Hey, we two looks very much the same. Is this just a coincidence or are we like… twins?

Ramon: *puzzled* Hey Fr., stop talking nonsense. I don’t think we’re twins. My parents never told me something about this, and I’m an adopted child.

Araullo: No Ramon, don’t you know that your real name is Ra---------

Unfortunately, one of the terrorists captured Araullo and shot him to death. Ramon, still left puzzled, approached and tried to revive the priest. Araullo, the young priest, then spoke: “Please take care of our mom and dad, Okay?” When the story had reached Metro Manila and other provinces, their parents could not help but cry. Ramon was later rescued and thing were clearly explained to him, making him feel guilty for what happened, all he did was to apologize to his twin brother. Upon Ramon’s comeback, it was confirmed that Raul was the mastermind behind everything that has happened to Ramon. He finally met his biological mother, Salve and found out that Engr. Crisanto was his biological father. A special tribute to Fr. Araullo dela Cruz was organized and spearheaded by San Diego Parish, with the help of his best friend Paquito and parish priest Fr. Macario Dionisio thus, making him an icon of the millennial generation.
