so i need you guys to hear me out on someone.

wiki calls him brown coated cameraman. simp cameraman. few people and i call him purplow. ill be calling him purplow for the duration of this.

i am not a believer of the theory that he’s going to go through a villain arc just because he got abandoned/rejected by tvwoman. he’s not hal from megamind.

the question then becomes What is gonna happen to him instead. and if any of you folks are in the alliance discord you already know where this is going

way back when ep 57 came out and we were all rattling amongst ourselves about titanspeak being freed i was browsing the main twitter tag and found this short comic

at first i just brushed it off as a funny thing but then the Rot kicked in

the whole idea of this pathetic wet dog of a man having what is essentially a bisexual awakening as a result of being saved by a different guy than he expected now lives in my head Rent Free

i've also found two more art pieces on twitter so far

only just realised final boss in PV kingdom technically fits the criteria. this WAS her kingdom. Dark Enchantress and Pure Vanilla are a UNIT they are GOOD AND EVIL they are ambition and what it can be used for. In the end we are fighting this kingdom's monarch demons, its just most of vanilla's demons is dark enchantress cookie

Hi! I recently saw someone's tik tok about Spider with type 1 diabetes caused by a viral infection related to the living environment on Pandora and I can't stop thinking about it. I mean, if Kiri can have epilepsy, why can't Spider have diabetes? I suffer from this disease myself and it would be wonderful to have representation in the film. I'm curious what you and others think about this headcanon and maybe you have some ideas about it? I can definitely imagine Spider with an insulin pump who hates it and is ashamed that he stands out even more from the others. Then he meets recoms who help him accept himself along with his illness. Sorry this is so messy, but English is not my first language so I'm using a translator ;) Btw I absolutely love your fanfic! I hope you write something like this someday <3

It’s crazy that this ask found it’s way to my inbox because I was literally thinking about spider having diabetes the other day 😳 I don’t know lots about diabetes so sorry if my thoughts are limited!

I feel like spider would cope amazingly, he is so used to taking care of himself and not relying on anybody else - and he is very good at it. He’s totally self efficient , and so when he gets captured by the recoms and they are all over him; helping him test himself and administer insulin, he’s totally taken aback. It’s also just another thing that he is an expert at compared to the recoms, and I can just imagine him explaining the illness and how to manage it to Quaritch (who of course is drinking in every word).

Then after the battle maybe spider is knocked unconscious somehow and Quaritch finds him, realises he needs to check spiders blood, and his sugar is too low, so Quaritch is faced with a situation where spider could get very sick very quickly. I can imagine him carrying spider away from the battle, and the sullys could be watching on, helpless, because they know that the RDA has the right equipment to help spider compared to Awa’atlu.

Yes the looks Andrés gives Martín speak volumes, and also the way he praises him in front of Sergio and Sergio just has this look like he knows exactly what's going on and that this love is requited and if it ever reaches its full potential, these two and their plan will be unstoppable. But I'd LOVE the focus on Andrés' side, seeing how he looks at Martín when they're alone in the monastery, or the way he grieves after leaving him or thinks/talks about him when he's with one of his wives.

And I don't think Pina will do that but IMAGINE if Andrés were the same kind of narrator as Tokyo, there would be so much delusional talk which would be amazing and on top of that "Martín was amazing", "Martín was the only person in the group with a brain", "I went to Martín, because I knew he'd understand me and his beautiful smile would ease my nerves", "Martín is all I ever wanted in life, insane how a platonic love can make my dreams come true like that 🤪"

But the spinoff will probably be told from Andrés perspective in some way, so you're right, there is a high chance, and I'm so excited to find out!! <3

imagine being someone at new rome university and not knowing percy is the same guy as “percy jackson, son of poseidon, two-time hero of olympus, former praetor” because the thought doesn’t even cross your mind. like… he’s percy. he’s a total frat boy. on a normal night, he walks into a party, refers to everyone as bro or dude, socializes with every living (and not-living) person in the room, makes at least 50 sarcastic comments, plays 12 rounds of beer pong, drinks way too much, and then skates around campus on his skateboard yelling “I LOVE NEW YORK” (which makes no sense, because they’re in california) until someone calls his girlfriend to come get him.

and then one day there’s an attack, and frat boy percy is all of a sudden a fighting machine. he’s yelling battle cries alongside the praetors frank zhang and hazel levesque as they lead everyone into battle. (why is he with the praetors? and why…. why in the world do the praetors seem to be following his lead?) his sword slashes through armies of monsters faster than you’ve ever seen. he’s controlling the entire river surrounding the camp, creating huge waves as tall as skyscrapers that crash down all around him, wiping out monsters and causing mass destruction to his enemies’ ranks. the sky is suddenly dark above you, ice-cold water droplets are slashing through the air, and the wind is blowing so aggressively that it’s making it hard to stand up steadily. because he’s somehow created a hurricane.

and he looks terrifying. you can feel the power radiating off of him. he’s like a god. or maybe a monster. it’s hard to tell. you’re a little scared of him, to be honest. but also in total awe, because it’s extraordinary. he’s extraordinary.

frat boy percy is not who you thought he was.
