Ive been loving all the fics youve been posting. I had this lil idea that hopefully sparks joy for you if ur requests are open. Its an azriel x reader. Where reader is very cold hearted and kinda mean almost bitchy like nesta. Hates to be touched eapecially on her back. Azriel hates her cuz she so unpleastant and so incredibly difficult. The bond snaps for azriel and hes so so confused because he for sure thought elain was for him. Reader always looks at azriels hands almost disgusted but the truth is that she had her wings cut off and the stumps burned down to her flesh, so her entire back is scarred like azriels hands. Her face isnt of disgust but since he hides his hands she assumes he'd be disgusted in her. Azriel softens up to her when he finds out she has a soft spot for children, maybe she teaches orphaned children in the city. Idk i just like the idea of a cold hearted reader thats just as scarred as azzy but actually has a soft heart for kids. Or maybe shes always longed for a family of her own but cant get passed her own insecurities. You can change whatever you'd like to fit your writing style. ❤️

Cold Hearts: Azriel x Reader

Azriel couldn’t stand her. She was nothing but cold and hateful to everyone, especially to him. When she had first come to stay with Rhysand in Velaris, he had tried to be kind to her. Rhys hadn’t told anyone why he brought her, and she certainly never opened up about it.

The first day he met her, she was sitting silently in the small library in the House of Wind. Azriel had smiled at her and given a “Good morning.” She had turned sharply to look at him, her gaze focusing on the hand he waved with. He watched the look of disgust come over her face before she turned back to staring into the fire.

Azriel had been a little taken aback. Sure, he struggled with the way his hands looked, and was no stranger to the dirty looks. The look on her face had been nastier than he had ever seen. She looked at his hands like they caused her pain. He left the library after that, not sure what to think.

Many years had gone by since that first meeting, and Azriel preferred to stay far away from her. No one else wears very fond of her either. He still didn’t know why Rhys had brought her here, nor why he allowed her to stay. She spent most of her days locked in her room or sitting in the library. She occasionally came to meals with the family, rarely speaking. And when she did speak? It was always some cold remark, as if she wanted to be anywhere else with anyone else.

So why did she stay?

Azriel pondered that question far too often. When Rhys became trapped Under the Mountain, he had included that everyone should be prepared for war in his last message. Azriel took it upon himself to train her. He had shown up to her room early in the morning, expecting a fight. To his shock, she willingly came.

She took to training quicker than Azriel had thought. She proved to have some skill under that cold shell she showed everybody, even if it took some coaxing for it to come out. He was impressed. Azriel even started enjoying teaching her, until the day she lashed out at him and declared she never wanted to see him again.

He didn’t know what he had done wrong.

He was trying to teach her a slightly difficult new maneuver. She was struggling to angle her body the correct way, unable to understand how Azriel did it. He had reached out to help her, placing a hand on her lower back and shoulder to move her body into place. She shot out of his grasp like he had stabbed her, whipping around to face him.

“What do you think you are doing?” She had seethed, eyes on fire. Azriel had held his hands up in surrender, confused.

“I was just trying to help-“ He had begun, being cut off by her.

“Don’t. Don’t fucking touch me.” She had glared at his hands, a stare he didn’t miss.

“I don’t understand why you must be so insufferable all of the time!” Azriel had snapped, fed up with the constant negativity and judgement that came from her.

“Maybe don’t be a nasty pig and grab up on any female you see!” She had shouted, turning to leave the ring. “Stay away from me. I don’t wish to see you anymore.”

And that was that.

Cassian had taken over her training from then on out. Azriel was fine with it. She clearly had some sort of issue with him, and it seemed to stem from his hands. His ugly, scarred hands. Were they really so grotesque she couldn’t even stand him touching her?

When Rhysand had returned from Under the Mountain, things got better and worse. At first, she had been kinder. Azriel had noticed how she rushed to Rhys before anyone else, how carefully she wrapped him in her arms. The two of them had disappeared after that, not seen until the next day. Azriel couldn’t figure out why the two of them had such a bond, why Rhysand cared for her so much. He had just come back and announced that the human girl - Feyre - was his mate, so it couldn’t be a romantic attraction.

Or could it?

Azriel shook his head, demanding those thoughts the leave his mind. Ignoring the spark of jealousy that ran through him. He didn’t know why he cared so much about her.

Elain. There was no doubt in Azriels mind that Elain was his. Rhysand had Feyre, Cassian had Nesta, naturally Azriel would have Elain. It didn’t matter that the cauldron had mated her with Lucien. Three sisters, three brothers. Anyone could read what that meant.

Azriel tried not to notice the way she had slunk into the shadows lately. When Feyre first came to the Night Court, the two had struck up a friendship. Azriel couldn’t believe his eyes and ears when he saw how fun and sweet she was with Feyre. It further confirmed his belief that she was so disgusted in his scars that she couldn’t stand to be near him. She had even started to being nicer to Cassian, her training with him going much better than yours with Azriels had.

Once the bond snapped with Feyre and Rhysand, she had taken a small step back from the both of them. When it snapped with Cassian and Nesta, she had backed away from Cass as well. She barely even had a witty retort anymore, choosing to stay quiet most of the time.

Azriel felt like no one else had noticed the change in her. However, he had to admit, so much change had happened in such a short time that he couldn’t blame them for not realizing.

Why did he realize?

Even as she created small friendships with the others, she ignored Azriel. She only looked at him to stare at his hands. He had taken to wearing his gloves around her at all times, but she just stared as if she could see through the fabric. He had spent decades trying to be nice to her, for nothing. She rarely spoke to him, mostly just gave that look to his hands.

She was always going to be cruel to him.

Azriel was trying desperately to find a Solecist gift for Elain. He knew he had a reputation for gifts, and he wanted to make sure what he got Elain was perfect. As perfect as she is.

And he had no idea what that would be.

He was wandering the paths of Velaris aimlessly, peering into the stores as he passed, trying to see anything that seemed like Elain. He was getting worried that he would never find anything, turning away from yet another shop.

He stopped when he saw her.

She was inside a little building, large windows open for anyone to see in. He watched as she stood at the front of the room, facing a small group of…children? He angled his body a little to see clearly into the room, listening to her voice come through the window. Her tone was kinder than he had ever heard it. Azriel watched with wide eyes as she demonstrated a defense move-a move he had taught her.

And now she was teaching it to children.

He watched for the rest of the class, amazed at how well the kids grasped onto the concepts she was teaching. He felt his heart skip when her laughter floated out the windows, a bright smile on her face as she looked at one of the students. He had never seen her like this before.

When the class ended he watched as one of the smaller children ran up to her and threw their arms around her legs. Azriel expected her to jump back at the touch, instead watching her bend down and wrap her arms around them. He couldn’t believe his eyes. He couldn’t believe any of this. He turned and headed back to the House, the gift for Elain long forgotten.

He wanted to approach her. He wanted to ask about the children he saw her teaching. He had a sudden desire to know more about her, to see who she may be under that cold exterior.

Azriel should have known she wouldn’t let him.

It was a few days after he had spotted her in town, and he had finally found her alone in the little library. He cleared his throat as he approached her, hoping to get her attention. Of course, she ignored him. He shouldn’t have been hurt by it, but he had been so hopeful after seeing her with the children.

Azriel called her name.

Her head slowly turned to him, eyes blazing. “Yes?” She asked coolly. Azriel have a small smile, refusing to lose his nerve now.

“I saw you, in town? With the children? I-“ He started, cut off by her suddenly standing.

“Spying on me, are you?” She asked, anger all over her face.

“No! No! I was shopping, for Elain, and I happened to walk by!” Azriel was gesturing wildly, not wanting you to think he was following you. “I saw you and then I saw the children and I was interested. You were, nice to them.” He cursed the words as they came out of his mouth, sounding just as sorry as one could imagine.

She scoffed. “Why would I not be? They’re kids.” Her words were sharp and Azriel felt embarrassment creep up his neck.

“Well, you’re not really nice to anyone.” He bit out, temper rising as she laughed.

“You don’t know anything about me.” She said, looking at him curiously.

“Oh? Is that so?” Azriel felt the words coming out before he could stop them, all the things he had wanted to say for years. “Maybe that’s because you don’t let anyone get close to you. I tried to be your friend in the beginning, just for you to be cold and nasty. You are always cold and nasty. I’ve noticed you slowly losing the friends you have made, slinking off into the shadows. Do you ever stop to think that maybe it’s because you’re a cold-hearted bitch?”

She looked like he had slapped her.

“W-what?” She stumbled out, eyes wide.

Now it was Azriels turn to scoff. “Don’t pretend to be innocent now. You rarely speak to anyone except for Rhys, and when you do it’s usually to tell them to leave you alone! Even when I was trying to train you, you lashed out at me for just trying to help. You have always acted like I disgust you, always glaring at my hands. Do they really upset you so much that you have to act like i’m the worst thing you’ve ever encountered? That you have to look at me like that and flinch when I touch you? I tried to be nice to you, just for you to react like that.” He was breathing heavy, all the hurt coming to the surface.

He watched her eyes flash and then suddenly, she was yelling at him. “How dare you? You have no idea what you are talking about. Are you so self centered that you truly believe everything I do is about you? Do you ever stop for one second to think that maybe, just maybe, I have my own shit to deal with?” Her cheeks were colored red, her hands clenching into fists.

Azriel rolled his eyes. “We all have our own shit going on. It doesn’t mean we take all of our miserable feelings out on everyone else!”

“I don’t! I just don’t have any interest in getting close with you. Not everyone has to want to lick the ground you walk on, Shadowsinger.” She spat out the last word like it was dirt in her mouth.

“Why not? What have I ever done that makes you hate me so? What has any of us done? The only one of us you would talk to for years was Rhysand. Did you love him? Are you bitter now that he has a mate and no one will ever be interested in you?” Azriel knew that was a low blow, but his anger overrode him common sense.

“What are you talking about? The relationship between me and Rhysand is none of your business. For a spymaster, you’re truly horrible at reading a situation.” She was angry, angrier than she had been in decades.

Azriel didn’t care. “No one here likes you. They’ve all moved on from their short friendships with you. Even your precious Rhys has found someone else to occupy his time with. Why do you stay here? You have no one.” He felt the pain in his chest at the expression on her face.

She blinked quickly, fighting tears. “You are the cruel one, Azriel.” She turned and ran from the room, leaving him in the aftermath of their fight.

It was the first time she had said his name.

He felt it snap in his chest, the tug to follow you. He could barely react, the shock of it keeping him rooted to the spot. No, he thought. No. Not her. It wasn’t supposed to be her.

The mating bond didn’t care for his concerns.

Leon is a dumbass at heart so no matter how obvious you are about it he just thinks you’re being extra romantic that day. When you ask the big question it’s unexpected for him so he ends up gasping out of shock really loudly. “Uh… yes dude wtf!” is all he can say cause he’s like in the middle of processing. He’s not really the type to be loyal, so he never thought he’d get married. Then again he never thought he’d stay loyal to one person so.. a lot of new things for your relationship. He’s very happy though, :)

Mondo feels stupid when he doesn’t realize when your plan was all along, also feels stupid cuz he was supposed to propose to you but he was too much of a coward to do it!! He will feel a bit stupid about this for a little but ultimately blushes and says yes with a dumb grin.

Kiyotaka is going to cry, guaranteed. Also would not catch onto what you were doing in the slightest. He would bowl and say yes!! While doing so. He wants the ring on PRONTO!!!

Hiro doesn’t really suspect a thing but honestly despite how dumb he is he does kinda raise a brow at how oddly sappy your being (even if you’re normally sappy). “Ohhhh that’s why you were being so lovey dovey… well… totally ! Let’s get married!” He’s very casual about it, don’t get me wrong he’s totally happy the realization just hasn’t sunk in yet and won’t for a whole month .

Byakuya suspects you have something planned. He in fact probably figures out what it is you’re planning because he knows you. However this is one of the few times he’s not being his bitchy self, even if he saw it coming he gives you a small soft smile and says “yes.”

I can imagine you and Makoto both tryna propose at the same time LOL. So he’s just like “oh m y god yes” and then like a week later is like hey so i was trying to propose and never had the courage so here’s your ring. That’s p much it like in the moment he’s like r u serious rn . But he’s just so happy you feel the same way that he doesn’t care

okay listen so i've been thinking heavily on the yandere trope recently. but like with Kid as the yandere. and whenever i see yandere!Kid i feel like he's always the more sadistic version of yanderes.

basically used this post (hoping the link works for you🙏🙏) to look at the dif types bc i dont know all that😭 but i feel like he is always sadistic/possessive in fics. obvi all yandere!aus are gonna be at least a little ooc bc its a divergence of canon characteristics but hear me out girl...

delusional and overprotective yandere!Kid... like girl. or like basically a kinda soft yandere!Kid. but like still horrible and awful not GREAT at emotions. like he will still get mad and yell but otherwise? is strangely kind to you? (w you not really realizing any subtle manipulation tactics that him or Killer might be using cuz Killer is loyal asf to Kid🤞)

like being kidnapped by the Kid pirates, the worst of the worst generation, said to be cruel and sadistic. that's already bad, and you're terrified for your life. essentially having a meltdown because you had no idea what was going to happen to you, but you had a guess. you meet Kid and prepare to be tortured/killed. then he's like??? weirdly nice to you? like yeah he's gruff and kinda bitchy but that is a thousand times better than being killed.

OKAY OKAY I love this SOOO MUCH. Like I don’t think I can explain how much I love this but you SLAYED. GIVING ME LINKS AND DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS AND SHIZ 🤭💞 Okay so to get right to the point I will be of course writing a chapter on this (or maybe multiple on this because that’s how good of an idea it is pookie). BUT I don’t know when I’ll be able to churn out a full chapter. I mean probably soon but I sorta just want to get a better grasp of exactly the kind of character you want Kid to be before I start writing. So here’s a little traits list?? that I cooked up the minute I read over this just to get my creative juices flowing. Traits

Thinks that kidnapping you was the best choice for your life. That you will be the safest and happiest with him (even if you’re kidnapped and being held against your will)

Often uses manipulation tactics like love bombing, balant lying to keep you in the dark, and triangulation with Killer

Not only believes that everyone else in the world is a hazard to you (including most of his crew members) but you’re a hazard to yourself so he doesn’t allow you privacy??? This could be taken to the point where he feels like he needs to be in the same room with you at all times. Eyes on you whenever physically possible. Which is sorta intense so just let me know if that is too much for you (cause I could make it really gross or more mild lol)

Will do even the simplest task for you, not because he wants to do it to help, but because he doesn’t believe you can take care of yourself or MOREOVER he should be the only to take care of you because he is just that great. Which of course he will hang over y/n’s head in arguments and be like “BUT LOOK AT HOW MUCH I DO FOR YOU😡” type shit.

If you do constantly try to pull away from him he’ll think you’re just shy or playing hard to get and will therefore push your boundaries harder. But if you actually PHYSICALLY harm him or try to PERMANENTLY leave he’d rather tie you down until you apologize and say you weren’t in your right mind when you did that then listen to your plea seriously (HES SO DELULU) The punishment for this could also involve taking away material items or aspects of freedom because like you said he's not sadistic so he would never hurt you.

To put it simply y/n would feel like this “I like you Kid but I don’t like who you become when you're with me” WHICH WOULD CAUSE SOME SERIOUS TURBULENCE IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP AND SOME SWEET ANGST EVEN.

I would write more but I don’t want to give TO MUCH away plot wise. Sooo hopefully this gives you a good idea on how I’m thinking of portraying Kid. If you have any other questions of course ask me!! Sooooo... im a person who struggles with crying like- i can't whether i wanted to or not.

SOOO when im stressed i can't even cry to feel better ( cuz crying can release tension and stuff ) and generally im (kinda?) depressed in a sense where i feel numb, lonely and like theres a void in my chest.

-and while you're waiting, Noa makes sure you know you can always talk to him. He also tries to be less cold so you can feel more comfortable about sharing your problems

-he quickly noticed when you started to feel worse, but he decided to wait a bit just in case it gets better on its own

-he trusts you to talk to him as soon as you feel too bad, so to not pressure you, he doesn't ask you about it

-but he realizes you're only getting worse and still not telling him about anything, so he thinks you might be too afraid to open up

-Chris decides he has to be the one who approaches you about this, so he calmly asks you to be honest about how you've been feeling lately and he wants you to let him know as much as possible so he can help

-but the more you tell him about how you feel, the more he realizes you need professional help. So he asks if you want that and obviously you day yes

-Chris helps you to find a good therapist who is helpful to you. He always reassures you if you don't fully click with a therapist, you need to tell him so he can look for a new one

I have some avoidant tendencies😅.. i mean i have a good long history/list of ending close connections just cuz their (whichever of my past friend we’re considering) and my personality grew apart. Or our lives grew apart. And with some, i even discussed it by saying smth along the lines of “we should stop trying to be close now, we’re clearly so diff/don’t really click well.. so let’s stop putting efforts in our friendship before it gets more awkward or whtv..(some had turned bitter/passive-aggressive, didn’t wanna say that). That way we’ll remember each other good in our memories. We can obv contact each other whnv we want to😊” i’ve always ended things on good terms with ppl (tbh confronting way was v rare, cuz mostly we’d just stop checking up. I did have guilt whnv it was from my side but I knew it had to be done cuz it was going nowhere).. i only have my childhood friends. I’m not saying all this proudly. I’m just admitting I’m myself responsible for being kinda alone, n my justifications are always somewhat like “had to be done”.. It’s just.. I’m at that phase where being active for keeping friendships is kind of.. not smth i can do rn. (They’re in their exploring phase which I can’t match) I’m not going to say “bEinG aLOnE mAKes mE sO hApPy” cuz I’m a talkative one so right ppl are obv>>> but yeah from some years, being alone has been comforting n addicting.. i don’t plan on staying reserved of this level in the future cuz this goes against my personal belief of ‘an ideal adult’… (i hope this answers that ‘how have u been faring’ part…)

Tbh i was considering how staying on this page could make me more sick😅 cuz i have a tendency of fluctuating bw…. Of assuming you to be him occasionally (I’ve done this countless times before you too). And like if you’re really not him, then I should be stopping right away. Cuz obv.. you’re just an internet stranger in the end n getting close to you is only going to be bad in the long term. Resemblance is so much that an internet str. is bothering me much more than he should. But then… I’m having soo much fun here rn & you saying “will take your response as permission to continue in the future”.. like u r enjoying my msgs so much (even i enjoy here) n have an expectation from me to continue talking, i find it so precious & absolutely bitchy of me/heartbreaking to stop talking to you. I have delusional tendencies n I usually do have to go an extra mile to truly see what is actually the reality around me n what isn’t (my thoughts/dreams took a looong time to accept i was out of school) & then, stop myself from falling into things that can consume me n detach me from seeing what’s right in front. So I’m going to stop now.

Moreover, I know someday I’ll have also to stop this habit of allowing him to haunt me everywhere n stop ruining my present cuz of it, clinging to a subconscious hope of finding him in the end, smth that’s never going to be happen. I hope this hits you too for your situation. There are some things which are out of our control, clinging onto them, being hopeful for them doesn’t take one anywhere. No matter how strong/worshipping type your hope is. They. Are. Just. Not. Happening. Ever. It’s better to focus on the things that we can control. The nature of reality is imperfect. The quicker we accept it, the better (I have sooo many examples) Chapters can be left incomplete. Or can have a gruesome ending. The kindest, most generous person can fall off from a balcony. A perfectly healthy olympic athlete can die in a road accident. Injustice happens everywhere. World doesn’t work acc. to ppl. Someone not getting a happy ending with their loved one, is the most common scenario happening around.

Ik I unnecessarily extended this (& ik I promised u once to not repeat this ‘trying to fix you’ habit, this this the last time)😅 but i believe to make someone see your side of things, this way is better than writing 2 summarised lines. Or idk, maybe i was just telling myself all this🤔 idk exactly how you both have been/are progressing, so apply this only if it’s required..

If you are still here to read this, it's not bitchy at all to advocate for your wellbeing, and it takes a lot of strength to stop doing something you enjoy and acknowledging when it may not be the most healthy for you.

"Aunt may? What are you doing here??"

The woman came to a halt next to your table.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I am so sorry! I didn't mean to barge on your date, I swear!" You could see where Peter's nervous babbling came from. "It's just… I texted you the address and the picture, and you never texted back, I thought you weren't going to come so I came to apologize to y/n. Hi, sweetie, I'm May, I work with your mom?" She extended her hand to you and you took it, confused. "She texted you too, telling you we were sending Peter, but you didn't reply either…"

"My-my phone is back in the kitchen…" You muttered.

"Wait. So, none of you got our messages?"

"Wait, you?"

"You're my blind date??" You both asked in unison, stunned.

Incredulous, Peter took out his cell and checked his messages, where sure enough, a very pretty photo of you in a sundress was awaiting him. He let his head fall on the table, banging his forehead.

You made a face,

I hope you don’t mind that I saved Judge Angel and Nurse Ann for this post, I’ve never written for them so I wanted to flesh out their characters :)

Jane the Killer

- Mom friend of the group

- In like, a detached, cool biker mom way

- She likes coffee and tea equally! She’s just not a huge fan of anything super sweet, she’d prefer to have a piece of cake instead of a sugary drink

- She speaks a little French, I think. She probably learned it in high school and is still studying it casually

- She and Nina don’t get along too well but she’s still very protective and watchful over her regardless

- I know I’ve mentioned this before but she ALWAYS has shit-talking sessions with Tim and sometimes EJ. They have a lot of steam to blow off

- Her Vespa is orange :)

- She hates supernatural horror, but is a big fan of suspense or murder films, if they’re done tactfully and not too gory. She sees enough blood in her line of work

- The one exception is the movie The Autopsy of Jane Doe. She really sympathizes with the girl in it

Clockwork

- Does this woman every brush her hair

- Yes but it sticks out in every possible angle, she cuts it herself and tried to give it “layers” but it literally looks like choppy anime hair

- She does wear an eyepatch when she goes out, and she doesn’t just discretely shy away from people staring at it, she’s ready to pick a fucking fight

- Drinks black coffee with a ton of simple syrup. Iced. She’s gay

- She dreams of having a steampunk aesthetic but it’s way too impractical. She tries to brush it off as “nah that was just a stupid middle school dream”

- She doesn’t speak any other languages, though she has picked up some ASL from Brian. EJ kinda scares her so she doesn’t interact with him much but since she started trying to sign to him their friendship has really blossomed

- Her shoes cycle between beat up tennis shoes and clunky Wolverine work boots. There’s no inbetween

Judge Angel

- Never talks to anybody. Keeps her head down and lips sealed. It’s not a huge loss, no one’s exactly itching to talk to her, either

- And the hood she wears is always covering her eyes, nobody has ever seen them. They’re kind of afraid of what would happen if they did

- She doesn’t really live at Slender mansion. She has a very secluded cabin a couple miles off, and the interior is very well decorated and surprisingly warm. Lots of those white tiny minimalist deer statues

- She always carries her sword in a hilt on her hip, it’s mostly for show. She’s powerful enough to not need to use it against any of the other creeps

- A nasty habit of hers is scaring the demons at the mansion. It’s 100% intentional and it’s a very bitchy thing to do

- EJ, Dark, Kageko, and even Zalgo hate her

- She doesn’t really have any hobbies besides fighting and tearing shit up. Maybe reading criminal justice novels in her little cabin

- She respects three people at the mansion. Slender, Tim, and, for some reason, Ben

- She’s a little bit of a pick me girl tbh

Nurse Ann

- I know she’s supposed to be cruel and demented and sadistic but that’s tired. What’s wired is that was a temporary state that demons and the undead get sent into, for a couple months max, and now she’s back to her pretty calm, timid self

- Maybe a little less timid now that she kills people, but she’s still very reserved, soft-spoken, and sweet

- She’s best friends with EJ. Quiet? Medical students? Undead? Oh babey

- Don’t get me wrong, she was a couple years older than he was when they both died, so she thinks of him more as a student or peer

- She loves to read. Anything and everything. Romance and typical textbooks are her favorites, she loves to learn

- Prefers just a cup of tea. She has a nice collection of teacups and saucers in her room

- She does speak a little bit of Spanish, she learned it to better communicate with her patients. She’s still kicking herself for never learning Mandarin or Punjabi, but it’s never too late to start!

Nina the Killer

- Idk why but I’ve always thought of Nina as Hispanic

- So she can speak Spanish, and I think she probably speaks a Dominican or another very quick dialect when she does

- She’s not very good at cooking, and it really upsets her, because she does miss her traditional meals from home

- So, even though she pisses Tim off, they team up and she tells him how to make stuff like tamales, tacos, sopa, maybe empanadas, plantains, stuff like that

- She’s an incredibly picky eater, actually. Tim is secretly honored that she eats his food

- Queen of scene! She has NEVER given up her scene aesthetic, being bullied never even phased her

- When she puts lipstick or anything on, she puts it all the way up the slits in her cheeks lmfao

- She’s tried the e-girl aesthetic a couple times, it doesn’t go nearly as hard as scene so she kinda gave it up

- She’s awful at gaming but still loves it, she plays with Ben and Jeff and even though they obliterate her she has a great time

- She’s the one that gets the snacks and refreshments, during gaming and during movie night

- She goes out into public without any like disguise on. People assume the silts are just SFX or a hardcore part of her aesthetic

- She is NOT as obsessed with Jeff now! She’s a little more grown, plus there’s wayyyy hotter people at the mansion

Honorable mention for Sally:

- Likes choccy milk :)

- Will ONLY be babysat by EJ or Slender. Everyone else is very upset about this

- She watches Sesame Street in the living room and everyone just kinda… watches with her

- She’s very glad everybody is participating with her, she may be a ghost child but she still needs enrichment!!

- Loves to help bread stuff whenever Tim deep fries food, he nearly has a heart attack letting such a small child near boiling oil but he’s responsible

- She doesn’t like soda because it hurts to drink

- Doesn’t need to be tucked into bed or be read a bedtime story but she does need a lil nightlight

- Usually ends up scampering off to spend the night in someone else’s bed if the power is off

- She and Nina are buddies :)

- She and Ben are also buddies, he lets her play video games with him with the controller plugged in cause he’s not a meanie like Jeff

Ok, so I watched all the episodes of Fate: The Winx Saga, and I'll admit; it was actually alright. Keep in mind I was going into this show thinking it would be terrible, and it was in the beginning. But it got less terrible as it went on.

I honestly really liked the aesthetic or the show and that's really the only positive I felt going in. But the CGI was pretty solid and the acting was to my surprise really well done. Some scenes are actually shot very beautifully and nice. Also some fight scenes were good too. But a lot of the characters are VERY out of character. Stella is a good example: in the original show, she was supportive and caring. In this show, she's just bitchy and mean; she has a lot of hate to give. Albeit she does get some character development near the end and I did end up sympathizing with her (just a little) but it's was little to late. Maybe they wanted to get that "mean popular blonde" trope in the story.

Bloom was annoying and bratty. Like Stella she got some development but it was too late for me to actually like her.

The most likable characters in the main group were Musa and Terra, who were the characters I thought I would hate because of the shows whitewashing. Terra was genuinely such a sweetheart and Musa was just a chill character. Yeah Musa got boring at times but I still liked her. Also Terra was kinda made "the joke" in the first few episodes which was kinda annoying and a bit sad but her character comes around eventually.

Aisha was really the only one with common sense. Yeah she snitched and stuff but if I thought my friends were in danger cuz of s crazy lady I would snitch too.

I'm only really invested in Riven, Dane, and Beatrix's relationship because I want to see what happens with it. These are three characters being manipulated by that one bad lady (I forgot her name sjgjgj), so I want to see how they all handle it together.

I didn't like Riven in the beginning (at ALL) but in the end I think I grew to like him and his relationship with Dane, which I ALSO hated in the beginning. They have a very enemies to friends to lovers vibe going on which I always love. But the batter and bullying in the beginning was (say it with me now) super annoying. And then again if it does become an actual things it's probably gonna be one of those "Gay couples for straight people" type of representation we get in things like Riverdale.

Beatrix was the only interesting character and Sky was the most boring (he literally isnt even that cute what)

All in all I think the show would be good as its OWN show and have nothing to do with Winx. If we're it's own show then I think a lot of people would actually like it, but the just had to cash in on that Winx branding to say "Hey young adults, you know this thing from you're childhood! Come and watch it!" I get that's it's ment to give the show more attention, but I think it gave it more backlash if anything. Then again that wont really stop people from watching it so there's that (didn't stop me from watching it ekfjjg).

Do I think you should watch this show? I have no idea; if you're willing to sit through scenes that make absolutly no sense for the character and like a good- yet really bad - teen drama, knock yourself out.

Personally I like the idea of Giorno starting off the days with you at a nice restaurant, think of it as his little treat to make up for the times he was busy at work. I don’t really see Giorno being openly romantic in public with you or like he wouldn’t fancy the idea of PDA. So when you two would be out in a restaurant starting off the day he wouldn’t really get jealous of the people staring at you or do anything.

Of course if he knows some creepy is making you feel all wonky and uncomfortable he’ll just drink his tea and shoot a cold look directly at the person.

As the new Mafia Leader, he’d definitely like the idea of coming home to someone who can brighten up the rest of his day.

If it’s been a really stressful day and he’s a little injured or not, he’d definitely love to hear your laugh. He’d think it’s cute and matches you very well. As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters to him.

Now hear me out ya sure he’s a Mafia leader, but with you by his side I genuinely feel like you two would make a wonderful power couple. The little gangs lurking in the streets of Italy would fall weak by seeing both of you anywhere.

Now being someone that he’ll care about greatly. He’d make sure you’re safe and away from any danger that the wonky gangs/criminals of the Italian streets consist of.

Did I mention he’d be a little softie for you? Ya. Well I feel like even though he really doesn’t do PDA, at home he’d definitely love to just rest his head on your small figure and have you play with his hair wanting to not give a single fuk in the world.

Or perhaps the other way around if you’d let him play with your hair. Just having you near him or in his arms puts his heart at ease.

Since both of you seem like very well educated beings, expect to talk a lot about certain philosophies or certain ideas that Giorno may have planned for the Mafia.

UGH the arguments don’t even feel like arguments they’re like little fun debates that turn out hella philosophical in a really go way though.

He loves how brutally honest you come off as. And admires that for you.

Downside of this relationship in my opinion is that he really doesn’t seem the type to be childish. Now dating him...if you ever wondered how hair down Josuke looked like, fear not.

This man would literally wear his hair down during study sessions at his house. While his mom is either out doing errands or is just chilling in the kitchen talking on the phone.

Speaking of hair I feel like you’d literally be the only one who can comment something about his hair in a bad way. He’d hate it and you two would argue about it. “JOSUKE! On the brightside you wouldn’t die...Though in order to make up for it just a simple apology that’s sincere and he’d be falling for you. And if he’s still pissed off well it’s best to just leave him alone. And when you do expect hours passing by, but once he’s out the room or he comes back to you, he’d definitely give you back hugs burying his head on the crook of your neck and eventually he’d start patting your head which turns into him playing with it.

Downside to this relationship I feel like is how many stares you’d get in public. Unlike Gionro he’d definitely show PDA. Maybe not like kissing you in public, but definitely wrapping his arm around your shoulders. Or holding your hand. He’d also in my opinion be a little too sensitive with what you say no matter how nice you sound, he’d kinda take it to heart.

Previously On Supernatural Season 3, we had a really rock solid trio of episodes to kick us off right, so what does SPN do next? It’s gonna lay the groundwork for some spicy character development that may or may not pay off by the end of the season. Let's find out!

To be honest, I felt the next three episodes just sort of plateau? There’s enough nuggets in these three eps - “Sin City”, “Bedtime Stories”, and “Red Sky at Morning” - that it does feel like they’re setting up for something big but it’s taking too much time. If the season had been longer, I don’t know that I’d be complaining, because there’s SO much potential introduced with these character developments, but I know it’s gonna get cut off at the knees in the very near future. 2021 Me has been trained on what to expect from a short season, so half of my brain wants to give the show slack for Unexpected Circumstances, but the other half of my brain is shouting YOUR NOT DRIVING THE BUS FAST ENOUGH, YOU’LL NEVER MAKE IT TO THE END OF THE LINE IN TIME!!!

And that’s maybe unfair because there really are some great nuggets in here. We’ve got “Sin City”, which is Dean’s episode. I mean, they’re ALL Dean’s episode, but this one more so than the other two in this post. Dean gets trapped with a demon who turns out to be...kinda...nice? In kind of a Stockholm Syndromey way I guess? She let’s Dean in on the fate that awaits him when his year long contract is up and it is NOT great. This isn’t the first time we see that there’s more to the demons than SPN has shown us in the past (hello, Ruby), but it is the first time Dean chills out enough to actually have a conversation with one. Dean doesn’t really get it, like he’s still not interested in getting out of his deal, but the fear gets planted, it just needs some time to grow. Oh, also, the Colt Ex Machina is back in action, so that's important.

But then we get “Bedtime Stories”, the Sam episode, where Sam learns...to let go? That’s the point of this episode right? It’s about letting go of someone before that person becomes too toxic and dangerous? At least, that’s the lesson that Dean wants Sam to take away from this case. But Sam will NOT learn this lesson, so instead he tries to cancel Dean’s deal by killing the crossroads demon who wrote it. Spoiler Alert: it doesn't work.

And then we get “Red Sky At Morning”, which opens and closes with some heavy emotional baggage, but then is stuffed full of fun. Like, this episode ricochets wildly in terms of Feelings, but then that’s probably what we should expect from SPN. I mean, what show have I been watching for 3 seasons now?

Fun Facts guys: I’m a tired Millenial, and swapping DVD discs was too much work so I switched over to watching this season on Netflix and GUESS WHAT???? THESE EPISODES COME WITH A SUICIDE WARNING!?!?!

And like, if that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about this season I don’t know WHAT will. Cuz Dean is absolutely suicidal and I am surprised (??) I guess (???) by how much the show acknowledges that. Or I guess, surprised by how much Netflix acknowledges that. It’s something that I did not...pick up on the first go around on season 3, possibly because I was 19 and I was an idiot and found this sort of emotional vulnerability to be endearing. Listen, I know there’s a lot to be said about the producers of the show making...umm…poor decisions in regards to character developments? But if the target demographic of this show was anything like me - and I suspect they were - then the viewers were also...probably...responding inappropriately to some of those character developments. And here’s the thing - I’m looking at this from 12 years in the future, with 12 years worth of real life drama that makes the heavy handed melodrama of television feel...well, heavy handed. Maybe irresponsible? Certainly a little uncomfortable. Big Me is having A Time confronting Little Me’s taste in TV Characters. It’s one thing to have a kink, Little Me, it’s another thing to romanticize suicidal depression.

And hey, I can’t deny that the character development for Dean makes sense. I actually appreciate that the show is thinking through the world and the relationship dynamics that they’ve built and the toll that these misadventures are having on their main characters. These episodes all get bookended by Impala Fights where Sam keeps pushing Dean to give a shit about his own life and Dean responds with an inability to care. That’s just where he is right now, and I get that. We’re early in the season still. But how will the rest of the season handle this? I honestly can’t remember but I also don’t want this to be a throw-away issue that they use to remind us that Dean’s supposed to die at the end of the season. I’m prob gonna come back to this throughout the season because I ~just~want~this~show~to be~repsonsiblllllleeeeeeeeeeee.

Lol, I know, that’s a lot to ask from the CW.

ON TO MORE FUN THINGS!!

Sam is gettin’ reeeeeallll bitchy in these episodes and #1, I love it, Bitchy Sam 5Ever, but also #2, was this supposed to be the sign that Sam was going darkside? Like, he’s snarky, he’s angry, he’s not pulling any punches and that could just be him reacting to his brother’s situation but it could also be….you know...him...becoming slightly...evil? For instance in “Sin City”, he kills the two demons who kidnapped Dean without even thinking. On the one hand, this is the Winchester MO, they kill demons, that’s their job, but on the other hand, Dean is actively telling Sam to stop. Same deal in “Bed Time Stories” - Sam kills the crossroads demon in cold blood (or maybe viscera). Again, we could blame this on instinct - the Winchesters were brought up to do exactly this - but 1) Dean keeps telling Sam not to and 2) that’s not Sam. This show spent 2 seasons telling us that Sam is the Good Brother, the White Hat, the Touchy-Feely One. This is not the Touchy Feely Sam who reasons with ghosts and falls in love with werewolves. Like, everyone else sees it too, right? Also, he is usually very nice to everyone but he is a REAL BITCH to Gertrude in “Red Sky at Morning.” Like, come on, Sam, she just wants to have a nice time. She is OLD. You really think she’s got what it takes to climb that tree?

I know that there was a plan for Sam to start Turning in this season before the show’s episode order got slashed due to the Writer’s Strike. And man, I really would have liked to have seen this play out. Like, first season Sam is the Innocent, right? He’s our stand in for the viewer in those first few episodes and then he’s revealed to be kind of the only thing that went right in the lives of both John and Dean, so Baby Must Be Protected at All Costs. The fact that John ultimately lets Sam go off to college and doesn’t contact him for the next four years says to me that on some level, John felt the need to preserve that innocence, that kind of untouched quality Sam has. Dean is very similar - whenever Sam gets too into the job, Dean calls him out on it. So in the second season when we find out that Sam might be evil, it’s a real punch in the gut, for Dean most of all. But then the show admittedly got bored with that storyline and it didn’t really go anywhere. So whereas Dean has personality in SPADES that fluctuates and changes and develops/maybe just gets more intense as the show goes on, Sam remains that kind of blank slate that the viewer can put their face on. Except now we’re in season three, and if you’ve bought into this show, then you’ve bought into it, so the audience doesn’t need a Blank Slate Sam anymore. And if you start with Sam the Innocent and then introduce the idea of Dark!Sam and then just leave that concept hanging, then isn’t this sort of like Checkov’s Evil Sam? If you introduce Evil Sam in the first act you really ought to deliver on Evil Sam by act three, right? Wouldn’t that have been A+ and Wild? Wouldn’t that have made Sam’s arc and emotional struggles over the previous seasons have more weight?

Will this be resolved in later seasons? Maybe. I’m gonna be honest, this is the last season I watched all the way through and seasons 4 through...like, 8 were real touch and go for me. I know that Sam ultimately is revealed to be a vessel for??? The devil??? And Dean is ultimately revealed to be a vessel for??? Michael??? And then the two of them???? Fight to the death???? Point is, season 5 got weird guys and I’m not there yet.

Back to more fun things! You know what guys?? I think I ship Dean and Bela. I’m...almost ashamed to admit it? Like, I remember Little Me watching this season and just dumping on Bela, I HATED her, but this time? I am 1,000% On Board This Ship. Like, there is an alternate universe somewhere where these two got a spinoff show that ran for 6 seasons and I watched EVERY episode. And then, like, 5 years after it ended, they rebooted it with Dean and Bela’s grown up daughter as the lead and the whole OG cast makes cameos over the three seasons it stays on the air and it’s amazing. I’d own both shows on DVD.

What I like about Bela this time around (and again, I am WILDLY surprised about this development), is that she can dish it just as hard as the Winchesters can. Like, every line Dean throws at her she holds up a mirror to say, “Oh yes, I know the Kettle is black, but what color are you, Pot?” and I’m just continually thrilled. She is also just as damaged as Dean is but somehow channeling it into a healthier way? Like, she’s true Chaotic Neutral, which is not necessarily healthy, it’s just healthier than Dean. Or maybe it’s just that she’s better at managing it. In either case, they are HOT MESSES and I love it. I just love it. I know I complained about shoehorned romances but Ackles and Lauren Cohan just totally crush it in every scene and when Dean walks down the stairs all She’s All That in “Red Sky at Morning”, I yelled at the screen OMG just BONE already!!!!! And then like, 5 seconds later, Bela literally says “We should really have angry sex,” and it was probably the most vindicating moment I’ve had on this ride so far.

WHY did we cancel her? WHY?? I don’t want to believe it was the Wincest again, so I’m gonna pretend that it wasn’t, but it was definitely fans. According to Kripke, Bela gets the axe at the end of this season because of the fan hatred of her. Now, I’ve already admitted that I personally held a grudge, but good Lord, what was wrong with us, as a Fandom? To be fair to me (and all of us), would we have felt differently if we had not been introduced to Jo a mere season earlier?? I'm gonna say yes. Although I had misgivings about Jo the first episode we meet her, by the end of season 2 I was certainly on her side. Working through season 3, I am remembering that, when we were introduced to Bela, I was immediately FURIOUS because WTF, WHERE’S JO? SPN just introduced to her. They just settled on a love interest for Dean and the writer’s just got me on board with that. Now they’ve completely done away with both that character AND that dynamic and you want me to get on board this NEW thing? And be excited about it??? So I'm gonna blame the love-interest-whiplash, combined with the fact that Little Me related my own personal self more to Jo than to Bela, that made me hate Bela in the first place. When you look at how quickly the show abandoned one character to introduce another character, it makes sense why fans got mad, but I’m also mad that we continued to hate Bela when she turned out to be such an A+ Frenemy. It makes me want to shout at the writers through the time void COMMIT TO A FEMALE CHARACTER YOU JAGWEEDS.

What’s wild watching this show now is just how Male it was, especially considering its audience was already skewed heavily female by this point in the series. If you made this show today, I don’t know that you could do that. Today, there’s a real push for balanced, diverse casts in programming, especially in sci-fi/fantasy and young adult. I think if SPN had started in 2021, they would have introduced the Harvell’s or Bela up in season 1, and that introduction would have been much more intentional. The benefit of having a shorter episode count as the standard is that there’s less of the “throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks” approach. Looking at it from 2021, reading snippets of interviews from Kripke, that’s definitely what they’re doing with the side characters in these seasons and you can feel that in Jo and Bela. A shorter season means that the storytelling has to be tighter, it can’t wander, so every decision has to be a load-bearing decision. On the other hand, one of the down sides of having a shorter episode count is the exact same thing - less room to throw stuff, less room to experiment. Heck, Bobby was technically a character they threw at the wall and he didn’t just stick, he became a tentpole character of the series. The only side character that actually made it into the series finale even!

So how much room should we be giving our television programs? I think it depends on the show, honestly. I think you have to decide up front if you want space to experiment, or if you have one, tight, compact story line that’s gonna drive viewers from episode 1 right through the finale without giving them the chance to catch their breath. You have to make the decision, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop making one style of show in favor of the other. Just because we’re in the Age of Streaming doesn’t mean there isn’t room enough for both.
