Hobie's Canon Event
Okay, so I see a lot of people talking about how Hobie probably lost a police captain and that was his canon event and etc...
but people seem to be forgetting that this guy kills cops on a day-to-day basis
like he fucking hates cops
He hates cops to the point where he even talks about them in his intro, depicting them as pigs and smashing their heads in with his guitar
Tumblr media
You see that? It literally shows the cop with a pig snout and pig ears 😭
"Maybe he lost a police officer that was his friend"
HUH??
Bold of you guys to assume that he'd be friends with a police officer in the first place
Hobie's character is extremely hard to understand. To this day there are still people confused about what he said in the movie, due to his thick accent and the fact that everything he said had some sort of double-meaning. He's a super well-developed character with a genuine backstory.
This is why its important to pay attention to his character instead of projecting your own emotions onto him
Gwen and Miles are easy to play around with. They say what they mean and everything they say is fairly light-hearted. The same goes for Pav, its very easy to understand what he means when he talks about something. They are also well-written characters but their dialogue isn't as deep as Hobie's.
Its a lot easier to make things up about the others without undermining their character. But you can't do that with Hobie brown while still being accurate.
Writing him requires a lot of research. It requires a lot of understanding.
I get that these are headcanons but headcanons can't be an excuse to diminish his character and what he stands for
Someone ACAB wouldn't have been friends with a police captain.
He either killed his police captain or his police captain wasn't actually a captain and was his version of Captain America (Karl) or some other superhero
It makes more sense for his canon event to have been a dog named Captain than an actual police officer.

Someone said the ‘Captain’ that Hobie loses as a canon event was/is Captain Anarchy and I haven’t been able to function since.

Guys that wasn't Pavitr's canon event
Miguel says that one of the spiders' canon events is "The death of a police captain close to you on the hands of your (or one of your) nemesis". The disaster wasn't caused by Pavitr's nemesis, but Miles'. The disaster was caused by Spot, and he isn't from Pavitr's universe. Therefore, that being Pavitr's canon event makes no sense. Miguel would be just contradicting himself by saying it is
So, if that wasn't Pavitr's canon event, then Miles wouldn't be the one at fault for Pav's dimension crumbling. Besides, we've seen what a universe dying looked like because of Miguel's flashback, and the "glitches" in Pavitr's universe resemble more Spot's holes than that. So Pavitr's universe disappearing would be a consequence of Spot breaking into that universe and absorbing the energy from the Collider of that universe

i have a wee theory about the whole “canon” events thingie mentioned in atsv. it’s been marinated in my mind for a while. here’s my take, yes this will include spoilers, i love this film so so much even after my fourth watch >:3
1. canon events are not set in stone. or at least in the way that miguel makes it seem.
here’s my reasoning: there are some canon events that cannot possibly be met for all variants of spider-man (eg. having a love interest, getting married, being bit by a radioactive spider) these events function better if they are understood as a mathematical formula with a quota ???
i’ll break it down like this — what each canon event has in common is the purpose and the lesson it is supposed to teach spider-man. the universe can adjust and create exceptions much easier that way, leading to why there are gaps where some universes are intact when according to miguel they should not be.
eg. finding a love interest vs an aromantic spider-person
keeping my interpretation in mind what could happen instead is that the spider-person harbours a strong platonic relationship that serves it purpose to teach the same lessons/award them with the same outcome of character development to help them on their journey. thus, meeting the quota and being recognised as a canon event, continuing their story without altering their universe.
2. not all canon events are necessary.
i think this one is pretty obvious but it has to be said. i think it makes more sense for the “universe” to be as fluid as the spider-person who exists within it. some canon events will not be necessary for their story, especially if my theory is correct and taken into account.
miguel suspiciously emphasises the importance of how these story beats creates who spiderman is …
if that is all a canon event is then there should be wiggle room or at the very least fluidity that allows more important/life altering or impactful events to occur and trivial or unnecessary situations to be optional especially if the lesson or purpose they are required to serve there is no need for them??
3. spider-man is not needed for a canon event to take place or be interrupted.
this one will take a bit more explaining so please be patient with me and of course, major major spoilers from here on out.
i’ve seen a lot of rebuttals against the “canon” events theory (and rightfully so, fuck miguel) HOWEVER.
i think we are judging him too quickly, i don’t think miguel is completely wrong but in the same way there’s no way in hell he is right either.
earth-42 is the only universe (that we know of) with no spider-man but how come it hasn’t been swallowed out of existence???
i can’t remember where i found it but when i do find the article i’ll attach it to this post but the creators of this film have hinted to miles g morales — prowler from earth-42 having a key role in the final instalment with them specifically saying “don’t judge a book by its cover…”
Tumblr media
now we know that heroic portrayals of power exist, who’s to say that miles from earth-42 is not operating as a heroic prowler albeit with more unethical/violent methods. in that universe alternate miles has lost both a father and a police captain two canon events in one, it is possible that if the message/lesson he was intended to learn from that life event passed that the canon event was accepted …
remember it is through losing uncle ben that spider-man understands that “with great power comes great responsibility” if that lesson is learned and shapes the individual to fight crime in their own way isn’t that them being spider-man?
miles g morales was supposed to be spider-man not the miles we know from earth-1610, he may not be operating as spider-man but he has had his share of trauma and development to fulfil the quota of those necessary story beats, he is still destined to be spider-man. if those things remain intact, technically the canon is unchanged.
there are hundreds of spider people that canonically did not obtain their spider powers through being bitten but their universe still stands.
the implications of the “canon” event theory miguel presents places more importance on the trauma one has to face to become spider-man rather than the journey of healing, self discovery, identity and love that makes the hero.
ok i think that’s all ??? idk, i’ll add more things i noticed and extra points later. feel free to repost, interact with this post + gimme some of your thoughts/takes on the topic. i don’t think i’ve seen enough people discussing it so yea, i wanna create a space to uhh discuss…
anyway bye!

CHOSEN BLOOD - Theo//Andrew BG
Tumblr media
I SWEAR I tried to make this the cliff note version, but here is some background on our two BFF's in question:
Andrew Montrose Back Story |Blood Cursed|
Andrew is part of a historically prestigious animagus family. The Tamerlaines have all shared the form of shifting into lions as their shape. It fits, considering they act as though they rule everything. The Tamerlaines have a dark history of a fight to power, and are involved in business both commercial….and illicit. Montrose has always been subjected to the need to show strength, considering his father had him in a fighting ring at 5 years old. He has seen many a show of violence at his father’s hands, and so he decides to turn to books instead in defiance….to use knowledge and words as a weapon and not his hands.
However  — as an unfortunate result of a business deal gone wrong, Andrew finds himself in a crossfire. A vindictive business partner casts a blood curse on him in revenge for his father’s misdoings. Similar to a maledictus, he transforms into his beastly shape with no warning, rhyme or reason. And that shape is certainly no lion.  As he grows older, it gets worse. And violent. To the point that his family constrains him at the slight warning of the transformation. For this affliction, though not of his own fault, he his shunned by his family after already being named second to his brother in all ways. He is sent away to Hogwarts, and told to never return, for they cannot be shamed by his nature. It adds to his thankless drive for perfection, to prove himself without the shadow of his family name. Those who try to befriend him because of his family’s ties to power cause him to distrust everyone, wondering if he will ever be seen as himself beyond his affliction, or name.
Theo Back Story| Wild Magic|
Theo’s parents were archeologists, and she was always happy to be towed along on each of their digs. It is one unfortunate dig that calls out a power in her that was unknown before. A fire sparks, the camp is taken out.
Theo is left parentless and living with her aunt. Her aunt reveals to their family has Huldra blood in their line. When it arrises, it may cause stronger calls to nature, shifting one's magic trace just slightly. It is one that causes affinity to certain ‘wild magic’ that can be produced without a wand. It’s possible that in Theo’s case, that magic is fire.
She blames herself endlessly and turns to Herbology, and plants, to show she is capable of creating growth, and not just burning things down.
Humble Beginnings:
Despite a rocky start with much fighting that lasted from their first year to their fifth (mainly Theo trying to stand up for those Andrew snaps at, and Andrew passing jabs at how she is entirely too willing to help others when no one asks for it) Theo and Andrew both somehow find themselves as loners.
While both of their family histories had preceded them to Hogwarts, the reasons for their isolations were much different. For Andrew, it was a choice. He was devastatingly aware that people tried to use him, whether his own family connection or just to social climb. But none of them truly know him. For Theo, it was a constant battle to prove her worthiness - that she was not the accident that had stained her family name, and that she could be worthy of friendship because it was all she wanted to give.
It was slow, but over time it was as if they both saw a reluctant recognition in each other despite being total opposites, both trying to prove they were more than their demons.
As opposite as they were in every manner, one night their opposite schedules was the reason a disaster was averted.  Theo liked to be up into the night, spending evenings under the stars in her flower grove, while Andrew enjoyed the solidarity of the early dawn before the rest of the world was awake to pass judgement.
He had been running in attempts to keep the blood curse from rising. Somehow physical exercise helped with keeping it at bay. Until one night.
During his run, he was wracked with a sudden chill, his breathing uneven and pallor drained.
Theo had been walking back to the castle, and heard the anguished scream as she rushed to find Andrew, seeing him doubled over, body spasming as the transformation took place. Not knowing what to do, she simply holds him to remind him he is not alone. Her parents told her to always be the hand that reaches out, and despite the fighting between her and Montrose, she never stopped.
Eventually, the shaking stops and the transformation stills.
Conscious again, Montrose is at first shocked that now she is now the only other soul behind his family that knows his truth. He is shocked when she doesn’t run from it, but offers him her own truth instead. Her wild magic and it’s volatile threat that plagues her constantly, and his curse that offers no promise of any future no matter how hard he tries to overcome and be the best at everything.
They are friends reluctantly, only to see if they can help each other find help for both of their natures, knowing they are worth more than their demons.
An experiment and a deal is struck. Theo mentions that the Huldra in her bloodline and it’s ties to nature may help dilute the blood curse with another sort of magic, perhaps confusing the curse.
She offers him her blood, and he takes it, and it works to subdue his blood cursed form….and it also helps her to release some of the fire that lingers. It is not a gift that Andrew takes lightly, and it makes him realize that she does it without asking for anything from him. It is that part of her that instills their friendship, and it is also why he allows her all the ‘dog and leash’ jokes….for there is no better way to deal with trauma than with humor.
It seems that while they help each other this way, they can survive. And so they help each other survive through more than just blood. But the true gift is the friendship and bond that forms.
There is a side effect to this transaction, however. The alchemy of this mixture creates a bond between the two of them, heightened to each other’s emotions. This comes in handy when Montrose is being especially hissy, but Theo knows his true feelings underneath it all, and therefore pushes him to accept that side of him more than the one that lashes out.
In return, Montrose pushes her to stop being such a ray of sunshine all the time, when he knows she doesn’t want to be.
There are SOME times where this connection is rather unfortunate. But that’s another story.
Overall, they are still very much opposites in all ways, but their connection is one of chosen blood, and chosen sacrifice. Despite their pasts, they know if that isn’t family, then what is.

hey so i have this headcanon that there can't really be two permanent spidermen at the same time in one universe. Right, logic for why 1610 Peter died.
So.... what does that mean for mayday, since she definetely has the same spider powers?
(Nothing good, is the answer).
But.... it's probably a known theory, same as canon event theory, right? so. Not only is Peter B doomed, he knows it.
Plus, Mayday's gonna have an Uncle Ben type canon event eventually. Two birds, one stone.
So he does little things:
- He keeps a video journal, where he'll just talk at the camera. Two, actually. One for MJ, one for Mayday. He's heard the first thing you forget is someone's voice, he makes sure his is preserved.
- He always makes sure there's pictures of him, and every family photo is uploaded and has a backup hard copy.
- He writes letters, compiles a notebook on how to be Spiderman.
All of this is on and off through the years, of course. But when he dies, he wants Mayday to be able to have these things, as if he were still there, guiding her, helping her.
This also becomes worse if canon event theory isn't true, and the two spidermen rule isn't true. He did all that for nothing. And to anyone else it would look like some sort of suicide plan. Really, it looks bad if they find it and he's still alive either way.

Spider-Man isn't gay (because of reasons)
Listening to the Ringer-Verse podcast about Across the Spider-verse and they include (because it was leaked in the Sony hack) the "rules" for being Spider-man that Marvel laid out in their contract with Sony (and this has been in place since Tobey Maguire-era to today for all feature films about Spider-man whether live action or animated).
I think this is obviously interesting in light of the "rules" Miguel is trying to impose on the various Spiderpeople, Miles in particular.
Images of the contract are from Gawker (RIP) when they reported on the hack here.
Tumblr media
I guess Gwiles won't be getting it on in Beyond the Spider-verse. But this does answer my question as to why Emma Stone never got a Spider-Gwen movie, if the main "Spider-man" must be male. I thought she would've been great. I will be forever sad.
Further, these are the rules for any Peter Parker depiction:
Tumblr media
Lord and Miller have to navigate between these "rules" (Miles cannot be gay, we must include a scene where he hits on Gwen!) for their movies. This makes "Peter B. Parker" even funnier to me for some reason. Peter must be Peter Benjamin Parker, so literally the only way to distinguish Peter A and Peter B is to call Peter B, "Peter B."
Lord and Miller and their team have included some nods to queer Spider-people. Gwen and her dad both have items in support of trans rights, for example. But it's sad they won't be able to come out and say "Gwen is trans" or "Spider-Punk is gay" unless the comics do it first. Because the feeling of isolation and strange things going on with your body could all be used as a metaphor for a queer experience as a teenager, not to mention having to tell your parents this "big secret".
Anyway, big corporations are evil. They impose these rules on their "intellectual property" but the fans also have some "ownership" of the characters, so I support those of you who are saying you see queer allegories in these films. (And hope you write some fanfic that intentionally breaks all these rules in the spirit of "Nah, i'm gonna do my own thing.")
I just hope you don't get your hopes up for seeing it actually made explicit in Beyond the Spider-verse. Because Marvel is being a Miguel.

so ATSV introduced the idea of canon events into the lexicon— set events that are fated to happen or whatever no matter the universe. but what about the opposite of that? what about the things that can never happen, under any circumstances, for any version of a character?
thus, I would like to propose the equal but opposite concept of canon events for consideration: canon’ts

Okay, let's talk about Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse (part 2)
*spoilers*
Duh
Let's talk about canon events.
Because they aren't real.
But I don't think that Miguel is lying about them. I think he believes they're real to the point that he developed an algorithm to predict said canon events, but algorithms can be programmed for anything. Miguel can say his algorithm predicts canon events, but the algorithm could very well just scan and predict specific deaths and Miguel is turning around an claiming them as being canon events. In the vastness of the Spider-verse, I find it highly unlikely that every single Spider-Person has the same canon event. Or even has a canon event as described by Miguel.
Not to mention that Miguel's own existence destroys the very concept of canon events because he wasn't bit by a radioactive spider like the other Spider-people. There was a scene that showed Spider-Rex, the t-rex, and he wasn't bit by a spider. Jessica Drew and Ben Reilly also weren't bitten by spiders. (Note: I haven't read the comics, though I plan to, this information I found out by watching tiktoks). Now, Miguel never outright stated that being bitten was a canon event, his focus was mostly on losing a Captain or Uncle/other mentor figure, but I think it was implied in the way Miguel told Miles he was the first anomaly. I think the reason Miguel didn't focus on the spider bite being a canon event was because he knew if he did, his own existence threatened his theory.
I think my biggest piece of evidence as to why canon events aren't a real thing comes from Gwen and Miles themselves.
When Miles figures out that his canon event is his father's death after his father is promoted to captain, Miles remembers that Gwen's father is also a captain. We know that Gwen has been living in the Spider-Verse for a few months and hasn't returned to her own world, which simultaneously means she doesn't have to deal with the fact her father was going to arrest her for her Peter's death and that she's saving his life. If she's not in her universe for her canon event, her canon event can't happen, right?
But Miguel was fully ready to keep Miles in the Spider-Verse to make sure his canon event on Earth 1610 happens. That's what the chase scene was all about. That's why Miguel tried to trap Miles in that red force field thing. He knew Miles was going to go back and try to save his dad. For the canon event to work the way Miguel insists it does, Miles has to be there, but Miguel had no intention of letting Miles go.
Also, why would Miles' father's death be a canon event, but not his Uncle Aron's? Uncle Aron's death perfectly fits the bill of by being not only Miles' uncle, but also his mentor.
Why isn't Gwen's Peter's death her canon event? Why does it have to be her dad? Because of the arbitrary rules of this most important death having to be a captain or uncle?. A rule made because in Miguel's mind *everyone* has lost a captain or uncle?
Arbitrary rules for an arbitrary concept.
Canon events aren't a real thing.

Anomalies and What Counts
I've been thinking about this and sitting on it for months now and couldn't figure out how to say it. But... Miles isn't an Anomaly, and Miguel didn't cause a universe to collapse because he broke a Canon Event.
We all know and remember how in ITSV Miles's Brooklyn degraded within days of both the spider-people from different dimensions invading, and the collider being activated twice, thrice when Dr. Ohnn used the mini-collider to bring the spider from Earth 42 to 1610 (and who knows how many times he did that). In the scenes, everyone's universe collided with/came to Miles's universe. Duplicates of the same building sprouted from the ground, glitching and trying to make room for itself and competing with other universes.
Miguel's second universe actually looked more similar when it glitched away. Everything and everyone glitching into nothing.
Word count: 789
Now. I'm not speculating; I'm just saying that I think it's interesting how only people being in the wrong universe cause a glitch on such a massive scale. Think about it; Noir still had his Rubix cube at the end of the movie in his own 'verse, something that clearly doesn't belong. Miles probably would've mentioned it if the mallet glitched out of existence. The spider Miles was bitten by didn't cause the world to collapse. It only glitches a few times, and Miles killed it. Even in death, it continued to glitch. But the rest of the world didn't.
The watches themselves, all from 928 (even if they're built in other universes like Gwen's, they're built with 928 technology) and they don't glitch. In fact, they deflect glitching from the person wearing the watch. Of course, there's not much you can do testing-wise within the year to find every flaw in your tech. Especially, I'd say that every atom in your body glitches as a response to being in the wrong dimension. The watches probably don't stop that response. Stabilizing your atoms only calms them down from responding to something being wrong. Slows the issue down. At the end of the day, you're still not from this other dimension. You're essentially a foreign virus. You're wrong. You're an Anomaly.
Every anomaly in the jail room is a person. Not a weird machine, not a bee, not a Rubix cube. Just people. Because people make choices to people and have more power than the Rubix cube, or the mallet, or a spider.
Peni remade a keycode. Kingpin paid people to make the collider. Miles threw a bagel at Dr. Ohnn. Dr. Ohnn stole a spider from another dimension. The Spot seemed out colliders to become more powerful. Gwen couldn't save Peter from himself. George Stacy declared Spider-Woman was a murderer and hunted her down. Miguel ordered a manhunt on Miles. Miguel decided to take a variant's place and raise his daughter.
Why is that so significant? I think the watches only delay and deflect glitching. Degrading atoms can only be held back for so long. And to raise a little girl you have to be there near constantly. Ready to help her with homework. Drive her to soccer. Be there in case she has a nightmare. Miguel had to treat her dimension like his own. He had to sleep and eat there. Fight crime there. Save the day, then go home and save his little girl's day. All of that build-up, months of being her father, combined with the watch deflecting all of Miguel's own glitches, it only makes sense that the universe he was invading would collapse.
Now I know what you're thinking, "But Gwen was out of her universe for months too!?!?!!!" She wasn't staying in 928 permanently. She and Hobie both said it themselves; she stayed at his 'verse too. And you think she wouldn't crash in Peter B's every so often? Peni's? Pavitr's? She hopped 'verses constantly and wasn't constantly staying in one. Which allows the universe to heal. Like I said earlier, it's been a few days, a week and a half at most before Miles's 'verse started to degrade fully, and all the other 'verses crashed together.
"But, 928 hasn't crashed yet, and there are so many spider people wearing watches!!!" Again, impermanence. They all go home or to completely different dimensions after showing up. They're never in the same place for a few days.
This impermanence allows each 'verse time to heal from its atoms being degraded by invading spider people.
Miguel made the choice to make a significant change in a dimension that wasn't his, and stayed there constantly for months on end. Possibly making more as he went until that dimension couldn't handle the changes.
Miles isn't the anomaly. Miguel is.

Researching Characters So You Don't Have To Part 5 - What was Peni Parker's Canon Event?
Tumblr media
In ATSV, we get a short glimpse of Peni Parker during Miguel's canon event explainy scene. She, along with hundreds of other spider-people enter in order to help keep Miles calm and share their own experiences with him. The only thing she says is "Miles" and she kind of tilts her head at him sadly.
If we compare this version of Peni to the version we saw in the first movie, it makes it very obvious that she went through some kind of traumatic event, probably her canon event.
So what was her canon event?
From the research I've done, I've found that her canon event is a little confusing, but I tried to make it as clear as possible.
After the events of Into the Spider-verse, Peni was approached by her classmate, Addy Brock, during class. Addy proceeded to ask her whether she was Spider-woman (or in her universe, Sp//dr). Peni brushed her off, and left without telling her. But what Peni didn't know, was that Addy was also a mech pilot, and was actually the owner of a special suit called VEN#m.
Note: Peni Parker's suit was created by Oscorp. Oscorp also used the Sym Engine which was used to create Peni's mech to create the VEN#m mech and chose Addy Brock to pilot it because of her psychological connection to it.
Now later, Peni has to fight M.O.R.B.I.U.S. but is defeated and captured by him, leading to Addy Brock's VEN#m mech being deployed to help her. During the fight, the VEN#m suit lost control and Peni had to take it down using her Sp//dr mech.
Addy and Peni's Aunt May tried to fix the VEN#m suit, but it was too late. The suit went completely crazy and took over Addy's mind, assimilated her body with cables and tendrils. When Aunt May tried to intervene, it consumed her.
Peni's canon event is completely based off the Evangelion Units 01 and 03 from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series.
Pretty sad :(

(waa-waa) “canon events”
(waa-waa) “it was supposed to happen”
(waa-FUCKING-waa) “web of fate & destiny”
BITCH.
mfs out here really blaming miles ALONE for the multiverse collapsing in on itself and for what?
“oh um. aCtUaLLy miles you saved someone else’s dad sooooo… we gotta let yours die cause canon gotta canon yk?”
BRUH.
miguel pulled a “iykyk” on miles and basically whooped his ass for not knowing. my guy just got here and you’re already mad.
the shit that pisses me off the most is this…
when miles first interacts with miguel he mentions he has some “new/fresh ideas on how to capture spot”*
*i’m paraphrasing here but yk that line was said
miguel replies by shutting down that conversation and saying “i’ll worry about spot” AND THEN PROCEEDS TO CHASE DOWN A 15YO CHILD ON ALL FOURS, LOSE A FIGHT TO HIM AND MONITOR HIS DAD TO MAKE SURE HE DIES AND MILES DOESN’T INTERFERE !!!
when the fuck was this mf gonna worry about spot???
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT SPOT WHEN IT COMES TO THE CANON EVENT THEORY, MILES IS ONE HALF OF THE ORIGINAL ANOMALY !!!
MILES WOULD NOT BE SPIDER-MAN IF NOT FOR SPOT // ALCHAMEX BRING THAT SPIDER FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION !!!
idk why i’m so mad about this, it’s just something i’ve noticed recently that’s getting on my nerves ARGH

Today I found something really interesting on TikTok
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[User is katieekujo on TikTok]
Now we officially know what happens after a canon event's disruption: the universe doesn't collapse, it detaches and becomes inaccessible from the Spider-Verse itself!
This new information, if confirmed true, leads to so many different theories. And I of course already formulated mine: I like to call it the "Reset Theory".
It came to mind analyzing the movie's titles:
Into the Spider-Verse sees Miles discover the existence of the Multiverse, and begin to understand its basis.
Across the Spider-Verse sees Miles actually entering the Spider-Verse and exploring it
Beyond the Spider-Verse, in my opinion, will see Miles reaching places beyond the Spider-Verse itself.
it's something pretty simple, but I've seen there's been some general misconception and confusion about the definition of the Spider-Verse, so I'll try explaining from the beginning and in the clearest way possible.
First question is: what is the Spider-Verse?
The Spider-Verse is a hypothetical multidimensional web that binds everyone with the power of Spider-Man in the Marvel Multiverse. This means that the Spider-Verse is just a tiny fraction of the whole Marvel Multiverse. Being inside the Spider-Verse means being inside the Marvel Multiverse, but not necessarily the opposite.
So, where are the "detached" universes?
Simple, inside the Marvel Multiverse. They are not part of the Spider-Verse anymore, and they are apparently inaccessible with Miguel's current technology. If they were, I'm sure Miguel would have already reached Gabriella.
But why are they inaccessible?
That's where the "reset" part comes in. You know that scene where Miguel sees the universe and Gabriella disintegrates, or when we see Pavitr's world slowly start glitching and collapsing? I theorize the universe is indeed falling apart, only to reset in the Marvel Multiverse without a Spider-Man, since his story and pivotal events have been altered and can no longer take place. I'm pretty sure Miguel's technology for dimension traveling works like the Go-Home Machine: it's able to travel only to where it can recognize Spider-Man's DNA. So if that were the case, it would be impossible, for now, to travel to a dimension without a Spider-Man, because that technology doesn't have any kind of foothold.
But the Spot could travel to said universes.
You could argue that Earth 42 is still in the Spider-Verse, and I have an answer for that: that Earth's Miles is and was supposed to be Spider-Man, so that's why he's still there and his Earth didn't detach. His canon events were rewritten, and his universe is still waiting for him to become Spider-Man
Earth 1610 has a Spider-Man, regardless of the fact that it's Peter Parker or Miles, so it's still a part of the Spider-Verse
