Eddie’s live-streaming from the front porch where he’s sitting on their porch swing, playing guitar. So Eddie did not bring his followers into their neighborhood drama. Steve did.

You can see Steve pass in front of the camera a few times before you hear him loudly ask, “What?”

There’s a pause and then he’s like, “I can’t hear you!”

Eddie looks up and over towards the yard but he doesn’t stop playing. He doesn’t seem to have any interest in the conversation going on at all. His chat on the other hand are thrilled to be able to hear Dan say, “Got myself a ring camera. It records the porch and the driveway and sends the video to my phone if it detects movement. So if any vandalism happens…I’ll know.”

Steve: Okay…? And I have a gun

Eddie: *experiences twelve different flavors of ‘what now?’*

Dan: Is that a threat?

Steve: No. I thought we were both just stating facts about home security no one cares about.

Steve: You can go now. Bye.

Eddie, stopping Steve before he goes back inside: Babe, you don’t actually have a gun, right?

Steve:

Eddie: Stevie, you once almost took my head off with a baseball bat full of nails in your sleep. You did NOT buy a gun.

Steve:

please remember wilbur isn't the representative of the mcyt community as a whole, and does not represent all cc. there's been a lot of doomspiraling over the past few days, and i understand the lashing out and feeling hurt or betrayed, it makes sense in scenarios like this.

but he is not the end all be all of mcyt content, if you look in his apology tweet right now, you can see dozens of other mcyt cc speaking out against him or standing up for his victim. or even the people in private she came forward to that supported her coming out. don't let a bad apple cause the efforts of the rest of this community go to waste.

I've been thinking about the USS Voyager docking at DS9 before embarking on its first mission pretty much ever since I watched “Caretaker” for the first time... The in-universe stardate seems to suggest this happened sometimes between “The Search, part 1” and “Meridian” and I'm absolutely convinced Janeway and Sisko met in his office on the station on that occasion. They had plenty of reason to, since Voyager was on a Maquis assignment and Sisko obviously was one of the best-informed Starfleet officer on the matter.

What makes me particularly interested though is that in that meeting they are both... still completely oblivious to what's going to happen to both of them. On DS9, they just realized who's behind the Dominion, they've just got the Defiant, Sisko is still a commander! Winn isn't even Kai yet, the Obsidian Order has not launched their genocidal mission against the Founders, Eddington is still just an annoying security officer. And of course Janeway has no idea of the kind of choices she'll have to make just in the next few hours; this is after all just her first time in command of a starship.

What did they tell each other? What was their impression of each other? Did they ever thought about that meeting again, after Voyager disappeared/got stranded so far away from the Alpha Quadrant?

What would they say to one another, if they met again after Voyager's return? Would it be obvious to them, the kind of sacrifices they've had to make in order to survive and get to the other side, their selves from 2371 so clearly transformed by the consequences of their actions? They've definitely both become experts in the field of the sunk cost fallacy, but would they recognize that in each other?

tl;dr I would like to see Sisko and Janeway meet very, very much.

What's this? A mini comic?

@brewingcoffi I'll get to the second part of your comment later, that one feels more like a full piece plus another mini comic so it'll definitely take some time.

Quartermaster and Ford are talking about the multiverse and their experiences with the unnatural. Both are most certainly leaving out big pieces of personal information while doing so.

Stan is weary about Harrison due to his likeness to Bill Cipher, but not outright hostile. He is also a lot more subtle than the rest of his family about his mistrust when actually interacting with Harrison. (Harrison can't hear what they're saying in this btw)

I'll have to draw a "first meeting" thing later, gotta decide if I want to do one big one or a few separate ones that focus more on each character.

The way I'm doing this au so far is just bits and pieces all over the timeline. I might do a full linear comic at some later point in time but this is a lot more fun haha (gotta chase the happy chemicals)

Speaking of timelines, this au takes place in the first summer of Camp Camp (so no season 5) and a year after Gravity Falls so Dipper and Mabel are 13, almost 14. The Pines probably come in sometime after season one of Camp Camp? I need to rewatch both shows and take notes to be sure on the exact timeline.

Oh, also my friend wanted me to mention that I draw all my things on my phone? And that I sometimes draw on my laptop with a mouse on Animal Jam (haven't posted any of that on here tho). They think it's insane that I do that and that I only somewhat recently switched to using a pen instead of my finger. It is a lot easier and quicker with a pen tbh
