new bake! taylor swift's chai sugar cookies and eggnog icing

the batch in the photo came out looking great, but this bake didn't go too well :( i made little missteps so many times doing this but the biggest fuck up was the way I baked the first batch. you're meant to let the dough chill for an hr. great, cool. i did that. the issue was that i rolled the dough, chilled it, and put it straight in the oven. they did not spread like the cookies in the above photo and were raw. pretty sure this is an obvious, stupid mistake so fuck me. flavor wise, it's very nice i really love the chai. texture wise, im not a fan of how crumbly it turned out. the icing is enjoyable if you like eggnog. these are super easy to make.

im posting this the day after i made them, and i honestly think they're much better the next day.
