This clown I believe is a pierrot/circus mix! This video is a great example of how to provide your clowns with stimulation while on outings and how to be a responsible owner!

Good morning. I’m writing about if you also happen to rescue Juggalos? They are an often overlooked breed (often called “mutts” by some snobs, but I digress) and there are many that I see without proper care.

Short Answer:

Yes.

Long Answer:

I wholeheartedly agree, Juggalos (homo insanus), not to be confused with Jugglers (homo coordinatius), are often neglected or stigmatized breeds of clown, so they’ve evolved to survive in much more hostile environments.

The most important thing to note about the care of Juggalos is that they naturally have a pack mentality. During their social seasons (usually summer) they will call out to others of their breed (this is the common whooping sound you will hear from them) in order to form a Gathering of the Juggalos, leading to them forming different hunting packs (called Posses) that they remain fiercely loyal to.

Thus, at the International Clown Rescue Sanctuary, we make a strong effort to keep Juggalos with their Posse and allow them ample space to gather, whoop, and follow their instincts safely.

Jubilee

Up for adoption

Jubilee is a 3 year old pierrot mix who was surrendered for now resolved health issues. They are a sweet heart and are relatively easy to tend to but I would prefer they go to a home knowledgeable of higher needs pets Incase old health issues crop up.

Danny needs help. Danny needs the Ancient of Justice.

Only one small problem; there isn't one.

Or at least, there isn't one yet.

The previous Ancient of Justice had been Pariah Dark, and after seeing so many injustices he had gone mad, and sought to fix the Infinite Realms through force.

But Clockwork assures Danny that there's an Ancient of Justice in the works, he's just still mortal at the moment.

Danny...really can't wait for the guy to die to ask for assistance. The Demons only deal in absolutes, and he needs someone like the Ancient of Justice on his side to help him with the weird double speak they insist on using.

Otherwise, they'll bamboozle him into more territory and displace more ghosts.

So he hunts the not-an-Ancient yet down.

Which is how Batman finds himself being stared down by a teenager with vividly glowing green eyes.

"Listen up, you're gonna be a God when you die and I need you to cash in those God Powers early; demons are getting uppity and they keep talking circles. I need you to make them listen."

The kid has black hair, is too skinny, his clothes are scuffed and dirty, and is clearly living in a vivid fantasy to escape from his harsh reality of being homeless.

The eyes speak of a clear Lazarus Contamination, and the stance speaks of someone who is trained to fight.

So he asks the only thing he can think to.

"...Are you hungry?"

Danny runs to Gotham after a reveal with his parents gone wrong. Bruce Wayne ends up catching on to the fact that he's a homeless kid in need of a good home. Danny, however, does not want to deal with another rich, potentially-insane, definitely-obsessed A-hole, so he does his best to steer clear of him. Doubly so when Batman takes an interest, as he want to put his hero days behind him.

Eventually, Danny, sick of running and wanting a way to make the two stop hunting him, decides that he should let someone else adopt him instead. Cut to him being found by Harley Quinn, who decides that she should totally pull a Bruce and adopt this black-haired, blue-eyed child. Hopefully Ivy won't mind!

I'm back!

If you're wondering why I've been away for a while, in short, I've had my hands very full with a new clown I've adopted.

This is Mr Sarousch. He's a pierrot/scare clown mix. I adopted him from a friend of mine who was struggling to care for him. They originally had taken him in off the streets (he showed up in their house one day) but found that he was too much for them to cope with. Scare clowns and scare clown mixes are not suitable for everyone.

As you can see, he takes most of his physical appearance, such as facial markings and clothing choices, from his pierrot half, with a few outliers heralding from his scare clown half, such as the wild hair and mouth packed with sharp teeth. He does also engage in scare behaviours that lean towards the creepy subtype. From what I have witnessed so far, and from stories from his previous owner, he practices looming, mask scares, and haunting mimicry (making strange noises and moving objects around).

Don't let scare clown prejudice fool you though, this boy is very sweet natured and is eager for approval and affection from his owner! 🖤

Despite my best attempts to encourage him to play outside in my tent, he seems to take his preference for being indoors from his pierrot side. His favourite place to be is in my attic.

Mr Sarousch's favourite hobbies (so far) include:

Playing eerie tunes on my penny whistle (as can be seen in the image)

Listing to the Phantom Of The Opera original soundtrack on my vinyl setup (over and over and over)

Watching black and white french cinema on my attic room TV

Doing little dances in return for head pats

His diet is mostly meat due to his scare clown constitution, however his favourite treats are beef jerky and blueberries.

I’ve seen a few of the ghosts regent ideas floating around, but pair that with adoptive dad Jason.

Jason adopts Danny but because he died, came back, and took a green soup dip Jason ends up accidentally adopting Danny in both the living realm and the GZ/IR. Danny being only 15 in human years and 1 in ghost years may be the current king, but he’s too young to be considered the formal ruler for events and realm rituals. So Jason has to take brakes from being the Red Hood every few weeks to basically put blob ghosts in a fancy circle and glare at unruly citizens.

Jason takes care of Danny and keeps the Bats from crowding and stressing him out. He also lets Danny help with vigilante stuff by working on evacuation plans, non lethal weaponry, medical training, and other things that won’t put him in danger or directly in the field.

Eventually the Red Hood gets captured by cultists along with a few of the other bats, all of them are tied to poles and fighting to escape their bindings. Then Jason hears what they’re supposedly going to summon, “The tyrant of the dead! The King of the Infinite Realm!” Jason stops fighting against his bindings and has to try not to choke or die again from laughing too hard while telling them they were about to do the stupidest thing they ever had.

The cultists say he “won’t be laughing for much longer” and to “shut up” and begin to summon the King. The entire area starts glowing green and the temperature drops, everyone can see their breath, the lights are flickering, and citrus scented neon green smoke begins spreading and forming a humanoid shape. At the same time the Red Hood vanishes, his bindings falling to the floor.

The cultists excitingly finish the ritual and while the figure is still cloaked in smoke tell it they prepared sacrifices for it. The smoke fades and standing fully armed ready to fight is the Red Hood. He tells the cultists to Run and that he told them they were going to regret this.

After Jason beats the cultists and the Bats get free they ask him how he did it. Jason responds by saying the King didn’t sign the Summoning permission slip so he can’t be summoned. This just leaves them more confused.

Jason heads back home to tell Danny what happened and that he should change the King’s summoning requirements.
