it's pretty common to blame south for north's death, and how she acted during project freelancer as well. but let's not forget delta telling church and caboose that the dakota twins were treated as an experiment, to see what would happen when one twin got an A.I., and the other did not. they were pitted against each other from the start, and put south in the position of having to be in competition with the only person in the program that she really trusted; her own brother. its easy to blame her but when you're in a program you already hate, and you are embarrassed and humiliated by the program directors, and they force you into your own brother's shadow? i dont think any of us would respond very well to that.
and when it comes to north's death, let's not forget that north essentially chose theta over south. if he knew that holding theta would endanger his and his sisters lives (which im sure he was able to know), and he didnt give theta up? maybe north wasnt 100% in the right either in this situation. theta was a computer program. south was his living, breathing sister. south injured him so im not saying she was right, but maybe im saying that the dakota twins are some complex characters and pinning all the blame on one and making her look like an inherently bad person seems unfair.
Shaking the bars of my enclosure if u do any more agents can i pleas have dakota twins... i am Starving
maybe if they'd been just that tiny bit more similar, things would've turned out better.

ty anon for this, it was surprisingly fun to design siblings! i dont get to do it often
(all my designs are f2u with credit!)
Fast Food ersetzt gesunde Mahlzeiten, manchmal bleibt mein Teller sogar gänzlich leer.
This year, I've been watching every Spielberg movie, one each week. #spielberginayear (I should've started a blog about that)
Today I watched War of The Worlds, and the timing struck me as ironic. I think people freak out a little too much about "Patriot Day" (stupid name by the way, we've already got Patriot's Day in April, y'all just tryna confuse people now) but I made an interesting observation.
Spielberg's War of The Worlds could not have been made in a pre-9/11 world. The entire plot is a thinly-veiled allegory for terrorism, and while the original novel was published over a hundred years ago, this modern retelling captures both the spirit of its source, and the new fears and paranoia that came with America's broken sense of security after the attack on the Twin Towers.
Only Spielberg could craft such a balance of fear and xenophobia with familial and societal bonds that wax and wane amidst disaster.
P.S. After watching The Fabelmans, I think I realized why the burning train scene unsettled me so much. I felt both the inherent wrongness of what was happening, but also the deep personal tie that scene has to the director.
Okay so mml AU infodump. ( Credit to @cl0ver-bell bc buns made this as much as I did )
We both worked together to make like 5+ AUs but I’m too lazy to talk abt all of them so I’m gonna talk abt our Swap!AU first.
Okay first of all we swapped Milo and Sara, Brigette & Martin with Dakota and Cavendish, Zack and Melissa, Amanda and Lydia, Bradley and Chad & Mort ( I thought they were siblings until like a week ago and nobody told me otherwise), Neal and Stacy, along with most of the other characters.
The swap AU swaps the Murphy men having EHML, with the Murphy Women having it. Which means Sara has Murphy’s Law instead of Milo, they still keep their original ages though ( Sara is still Milos older sister ). Many people in Danville believe that Murphy’s Law is what caused the house fire that killed the siblings parents, however this has not been proven correct.
Speaking of parents, Milos and Sara’s adoptive parents, Dakota and Cav are actually time criminals for going against their bosses orders ( they also saved the world for the horrors of the Mississippi Purchase timeline. No Cavendish isn’t from the MP timeline he was just assigned to be Dakotas partner ). They knew Milo and Sara’s parents and adopted them so they wouldn’t be placed in foster care. When they adopted the siblings they were just pining for each other but in present day they are married.
Sara’s only friend ( curtsy of Murphy’s Law ) is Neal, a Dr. Zone fan who owns a YouTube channel all abt the series, lore, gossip and theories. They’ve been friends since 3rd grade.
Milo has more friends, including his childhood best friend Zack, an ambitious boy who loves music and art. He’s surprisingly chill abt Murphy’s Law and is incredibly loyal to the Murphy’s. Milo himself loves Firetrucks and Dr.Zone ( not as much as his sister ) and is unphased by anything life will throw at him and his family. When school starts again, he befriends Melissa, a girl whose anxious about her grades and Murphy’s Law ( She’s trying her best, but school is much harder when her best friends sister keeps destroying the school, she’ll never give up on either of them despite her fears ). She was secretly apart of a race car themed girl band.
Brigette and Martin are a married pair of time travelers who’s greatest wish is to become famous/well known. However, Brigette is the descendant of the Murphys, but that doesn’t stop the overly ambitious pair from trying their best. Their time vehicle is a motorcycle.
They’re so much more I could talk abt but this post is already long asf so I’ll continue this later.
( Again crediting @cl0ver-bell bc my twin is so awesome and made this as much as I did )
How Heaven (5 months pregnant) wakes up the Peota twins: "Children! Come on wake up! Breakfast is ready and it's a beautiful day too! *gives a kiss to both of them*"
How David wakes up the Peota twins: "*Opens the door* come on, get up! It's already late! *goes out but then comes back* and what's that smell? *holds his nose* open the window! It looks more like a stable than a room! *goes out again*"
thinking about Quantity over Quality again & i love south's dynamic with donut,, like yeah, she /does/ need someone peppy & easy-going in her life to hang with & keep her spirits up. similar to planting chives & lemongrass near carrots as natural bug-repellents so the crop can thrive with fewer stressors, south needs a silly guy to distract her from her anger issues & lonliness
I love how we all agree that West Virginia has little brother energy and that South Carolina has big brother energy but does anyone else think that South Dakota has “We’re twins, it doesn’t matter” energy and North Dakota has “ME!” energy if they are ever asked who is the older twin?
I still believe my beloved theory that Dennis never actually went to North Dakota and just hid in the vents and lived in Charlie's bad room to eavesdrop on the gang for their reaction of him leaving, planning to rub it in their face and be quickly done with it, but it never came
