I’d suggest The Aristocats, Cinderella, or Tangled as possible favorite Disney movies for Freddie, since he apparently had a soft spot for Rapunzel. If the talked-about movie starring an animated Delilah had ever been made, it certainly would be that. 🐱

I can imagine him liking The Aristocats for sure lol. I really love Tangled, but I wonder if he'd prefer the more traditional, Broadway-musical-esque scores of films like Beauty and the Beast compared to the score of Tangled. Idk though, obviously

Familiar Story Time 🐱

My familiar went downstairs for some reason the other day. I heard growling from upstairs and thought it was the dog, so I went downstairs and looked at him and said it's okay that he doesn't have to worry, cuz I'm thinking he's getting ready to bark at some stupid shit.

And then I realize something as I'm looking at this bug-eyed twinkie with an under bite; His mouth wasn't moving at all. He wasn't growling.

So I look down in front of the vacuum and play chalkboard, and there she is, curled up in a pissed off ball, my familiar, Delilah.

The dog is absolutely terrified to go anywhere near her cuz SHE is the one growling so loudly that I heard it from upstairs through a closed door with the TV on volume 10 (which is loud af). So I try to coax him to go by the stairs and into the other room, cuz I'm personally scared of the dog since he tries to bite me every time I'm downstairs and I didn't want to risk him and Delilah fighting in the front room; however every time the dog got close to the area I was leading him towards he would look at the cat, get scared, look at me, and dart back.

So I went "fuck it" and decided it was worth getting attacked because at this point my cat was more of a dog than the dog was; and I stepped onto the first floor and got some cat food for my familiar and placed it in front of her. She wasn't interested AT ALL.

So I decided to sit and try to coax her out a little more, at this point the dog started creeping towards me. Just quietly slinking over with his head down, and then he gets so close to me that I actually had to lean slightly in order to not have him touching me; and my anxiety was spiking. Like I said this dog tries to bite me constantly, he's never gotten that close without getting violent so I was reasonably scared out of my goddamn mind. He's just staring at me tho as if he wants me to pet him, and I weighed the options but my instincts told me not to (my boyfriend later revealed this was a smart choice as he usually snaps when you take your hand off of him).

My flight-or-fight was officially activated, I glanced over at Delilah, her eyes widened as if she sensed how scared I was and she turned at the dog, started growling louder than before and let out a nasty hiss and went to stand up; and the dog instantly ran and jumped onto the couch, where he stayed until I moved the vacuum from under Delilah's ass and she ran upstairs. He even stayed on the couch long enough afterwards for me to get a soda and the cat food from downstairs.

My familiar is a badass who scared the bark and bite out of that demon twinkie!

(I took the first one and as I was typing the tags she did this for the FIRST TIME EVER I'M CRYING)

Got out of the bath to find my familiar kitty Delilah on my altar.

She usually just lays on our bed but she jumped onto the shelf and was sitting (meatloafing) on some of my crystals 😂😂 When I walked in she just meowed at me as if she wasn't doing anything unusual 😂 Silly kitty.
