Make it happen...

Make it happen Monday.....what gets you going? Is it spreadsheets? EBITDA? Bagels? Whatever lights that spark within....go after it. Every damn day. Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire. For awhile, I was waking up to help humans...in the HR field. When I say awhile.....it’s more like 12-15 years. Of course when I say help humans, it was to hire them, train them, provide benefit information, help with their pay checks, insurance questions, etc. It was helping, however unfulfilling assistance. The past few years I have felt a pull from the universe...away from the HR profession. I could not put my finger on it and nor could I pull the trigger to go find out. I was comfortable, so to speak, in the role. It was familiar, however grew to be draining. Enter the year 2020 and it drained me inside beyond measure. The HR world no longer inspired me to get out of bed, honestly it made me want to remain in bed and not start my day - ever. The small joy I had of “helping” people transformed into a bucket full of bull$hit that I walked into every day. Supposedly grown adults complaining over parking, change of benefits, instructions from supervisors, and dirty looks. I could keep going. Honestly, I was mitigating issues between over grown children...and I have two kids at home already. Amongst other issues, the HR field no longer served my soul. Now, I am on a mission to design a life I love and inspire others to do the same. What sets your soul on fire?
