In which Eddie panics a bit, Wayne is a voice of reason, and Steve is really going through it but finds some relief in Eddie bringing him lunch.

Eddie does not, in fact, see Robin or Steve the next day. He holes up in his room for three days until Wayne drags him out by his ear, sits him down, and pries an explanation out of him because “do you know how many times that Harrington boy has called, knocked, and slid notes under the door trying to track you down? I’m surprised he hasn’t climbed in your damn window by now.”

He breaks and tells Wayne about the love spell and getting to know Steve. He walks his uncle through the entire strangled route of his logic and the thoughts he’s been stuck in his head with ever since the other day.

And, okay, the whole prom scenario had been a completely theoretical product of his overactive and dramatic imagination, but something like that might have happened. Except if Eddie, instead of fucking up, had somehow cast it really, really strong…

“That’s why he keeps calling, because of the spell,” Eddie concludes. “It makes sense, doesn’t it?” He desperately wants to hear that no, actually, he’s lost his marbles, no one can brute force a spell into being smart and biding it’s time like that.

But Wayne sighs, somehow conveying both endless patience and weary amusement, and says, “Eddie, what have I always told you?”

“Uh… never tell anyone that magic is real?”

Wayne snorts. “That, sure, and that magic ain’t ever something outta nothing. Your daddy always thought he could make gold from thin air, never even tried spinning it outta straw, and look where it landed him.” Jail. Eddie winces. “The reason no one bothers with love spells much is they gotta have some potential to grab onto, so they fail more’n you’d think. Spell or not, Ed, there was always something there.”

By the end of the conversation, Wayne has more or less managed to hammer in the idea that maybe all the spell had done was keep them apart until they fit better. Eddie retreats to his room again, this time to brainstorm how to make up for the abrupt three day radio silence.

Steve has had… a rough few days. If it hadn’t been for Wayne Munson assuring him that no, his nephew hadn’t disappeared like Will Byers or the Holland girl, just “got a bug up his ass about something and is still holed up in his room working on it,” he would have completely spiraled. As it was, he’d had trouble sleeping even before smoking through the last of his stash, on edge all the time, swimming laps at night because that feels better than doing nothing.

So when he looks up at the jingle of the bell over the door and sees Eddie slink into Family Video, he’s torn between relief and upset. If Eddie is fine, and very obviously not eaten by monsters or kidnapped to an alternate dimension, then where the hell has he been? Why hadn’t he returned any of the messages Steve had left him? Is the return to jock tendencies that off-putting?

His eyes catch on the bag and cardboard carrier Eddie is carrying, laden with three paper cups from the nearest diner. The warm greasy smell hits him, and it’s been a long few days of wanting to stress eat but not letting himself. Steve’s mouth fills with saliva—just because he hasn’t had his lunch break yet.

“Where the hell have you been?” he asks flatly, since there’s no one else in the store right now.

Eddie ducks his head. “Ye-eah, I deserve that.” He holds up the bag and drinks, tentatively meeting Steve’s gaze from under his bangs. “Brought you a peace offering?”

Steve breaths out sharply and runs a hand through his hair. He’d probably…Yeah, he’d probably been overthinking everything. Wound too tight, like Robin said. Not everything is a sign that the world is ending; Eddie had probably just been busy and knows that Steve is kind of needy, and brought him lunch as an apology.

God, it smells like his usual order from before Starcourt. And Eddie is here now, perfectly fine except for the shadows under his eyes. What does Eddie have to be so worried about?

Get it together, Harrington.

“Okay,” Steve says, not bothering to wonder if he can make whatever Eddie’s brought him fit into his diet—cheat days are a thing for a reason, right? “I’ll let Keith know I’m taking my break.”

Tilting his head to one side, Eddie is now close enough to set his offerings on the checkout counter. “No Robin today?”

“I wish. It’s her dad’s birthday, so she got roped into family stuff.”

“Hm.” He flicks at one of the straws poked through the top of the lid. “Looks like I brought one too many milkshakes then. Which is the more egregious sin, letting it go to waste or sharing it with Keith?”

Steve wrinkles his nose. “Second one. I’ll go punch out, meet me around back?”

A few minutes later they’re sitting across from each other at the table behind the little strip mall that houses Family Video and the arcade. It’s technically for anyone who works there, not just the video store, but it’s hot as balls out so there’s no competition for the spot. The first mouthful of milkshake is a welcome explosion of cold and rich chocolatey goodness in Steve’s mouth, and he hums approvingly. Holy shit, he’d forgotten how much he liked ice cream.

“How’m I doing on the apology?” Eddie asks, starting to pull foil-wrapped burgers out of the greasy bag.

“Pretty good, if one of those has cheese or bacon on it.” Steve accepts the one held out for him and unwrapping it to find both, and a second patty. He takes a big bite and hums in satisfaction, chewing for a moment and pleasantly aware that Eddie is watching him. As soon as his mouth is empty enough to speak, he says, “... Alright, you’re forgiven. Just answer your damn phone next time, man, okay? Let me know you’re still alive?”

“Sorry,” Eddie says, looking guilty. “Yeah, sorry, I will.” He nudges a large fries across the table, followed by several packets of ketchup. Eddie hates ketchup on fries, because he’s some sort of heathen, but doesn’t so much as comment when Steve squirts all of the packets down one side of the container for himself. “Didn’t mean to make you worry about me, Stevie, I just… got in my head about something.”

Steve swallows a mixed bite of fries and burger, christ he’s hungry today. Must be the relief of knowing that Eddie is okay. “Anything I can help with?” he offers, because now that his ruffled feathers are soothed, he doesn’t like how tired his friend looks or the hint of melancholy that had flashed across his face at Steve’s requests. Eddie, who had looked at his bruises from Starcourt and visibly didn’t buy the government-concocted explanation for them but agreed not to ask, and thinks the source of his recent tension is from a few days of trauma rather than going on two years.

But also—Stevie? That’s new. Steve takes another big bite of his burger to hide how much the nickname makes him want to beam, that would be so weird given the current topic of conversation.

“Nah,” Eddie says. He mimes knocking his fist against one temple, other hand tapping the underneath of the table to make a wooden sound. “Got it worked out now. I’m good.”

“Well, good.” Despite himself, Steve grins around his next bite of burger. He swallows, snags Eddie’s milkshake (strawberry) and then Robin’s (vanilla), following with a sip from his own—a poor man’s Neapolitan. “Want to come over tonight and finish that movie?”

A surprised look crosses Eddie’s face at the offer, followed by something else that Steve can’t read, and then a small grin of his own. “Sure, if you don’t mind starting it over. I’ve kinda forgotten the beginning.”

Which is fine, because Robin had insisted on finishing it (“You know I don’t do well with cliffhangers, Steve. Do you want me to not be able to fall asleep tonight trying to guess what happens next? Do you?”) and Steve isn’t sure he remembers where they paused it last time anyway. He’s pleased as he finishes his burger, licking the grease from his fingers and grabbing a bunch of fries positively dripping with ketchup, hurriedly getting them in his mouth before any can drop on his work clothes. Feels even better when Eddie chuckles and reaches across the table to wipe a smear of the condiment that had dripped down the side of his chin, almost making it to his work vest. The contact is nice, makes his heart beat faster.

It doesn’t have to mean anything, but he wants it to.

but i actually have a sheet of hcs for halloween!!! i love halloween sm i literally just. hc every character and how they celebrate it 😭 there are so many so i’m keeping it to my favourite characters for this

Cerise: Doesn’t exactly dress up, but wears a ”vampire” cape and shows off her fangs (as fake)

Briar: Does an insanely cool halloween themed makeup that changes every year from pumpkins to spiders, depending on what her friend group is doing as costumes. sometimes she has matching costumes with Faybelle (for ex. Harley and Ivy or their eah representives)

Kitty: Dresses up as one of her friends each year to make fun of them (but in a good sense because she secretly thinks halloween is actually fun and doesnt want to ruin it for anyone)

Maddie: you can imagine what she wears. sometimes it’s a random character, sometimes it’s a massive tea cup. you never really know what she comes up with each time

Lizzie: She often forgets to design her own costume because she makes them for her friends. If she does make one for herself, it’s usually from a wonderlandian tale or monster

okay i'm a day late but HELLOOO?? NEW EAH SONG IN 2024? WHAT THE HEX

now there's A LOT to consider with this sudden jumpscareish reveal, so here's a bit of a rant:

• lots of people seem to think "Can't Get Me Down" is AI and as someone that's listened to A LOT of AI covers for a project, it's not unlikely. the glitchy robotic vocals dont make the song easy to defend. maybe theres just A LOT of filters and voice changers, who knows. or maybe its purposefully trying to sound robotic?? like a punkified, rockish taylor swift song meets futuristic pop? dunno, it's fun to think of theories though!!

• there's a big chance that this is simply an old song that's being brought back from the dead after being scrapped back when the show was still running and i think that really might be the case. question is: why bring it back now?

• with the still ongoing trademarks and unscrapped eah projects sitting out there, there's a huge chance that mattel still hasn't completely given up on eah. i've heard of the still officially "in production" movie before and previously came to a conclusion that the studio has either forgotten to scrap it officially or is keeping it as "just-in-case" sort of material. now that there's a crumb of new content out there, this does make me more hopeful for the future of the project. not sure they're going to pick it up, though.

• there's a theory out there that the new song is meant to be a test - to see the reactions of the fandom and previous fans nostalgic of the series (plus maybe some new fans) out there and test if bringing EAH back now would be beneficial for the company. now, whether that's true or not, they CERTAINLY got a reaction. just waiting for a tiktok to go viral or a big doll creator mentioning it in a video now🤞🤞

• now, as i've mentioned, i do think this is a song from a webisode or part of movie that got scrapped. going further, this may just be a way for mattel to gain some sudden attention and create speculations. i'm honestly not sure what they're meaning to do further. i'd love to say they're going to pick up and continue the series, but that's most probably not the case. if eah does get picked up, we're most probably getting a rewrite, a reboot or simply new movie with changed concept that introduces the changes made to the world. in either case, we can hope for major plotlines, characters and relationships continued, maybe even filling some plotholes and answers to questions that were left unanswered (DARLING AND APPLE PLOT CONTINUED PLEASE)

• i don't want to raise anyone's hopes too much. as exciting this is and as enthusiastic i may be for POSSIBLY NEW EAH CONTENT (AAAAAAA), a rational side of my brain's got another theory. the release of the song is most likely not an accident or leak, since it would probably be already deleted, but this might just be a way for mattel to grab some newly-found attention, feed us a crumb and leave us hungry. or it is an accident that's gained too much attention to be suddenly deleted? who. knows. all we can really do know is speculate, wait and hope.

Hello EAH fandom, I present to you my newest crackship,

Daring Charming x Humphrey Dumpty.

After an entire lifetime of breaking his bones and multiple chronic illnesses, most people become completely unfazed of it. But he never does. He's sick and tired and sad. This is what started his disinterest and all around disdain towards most people who have it much much better than him. They don't care about him, they just know him as the tech kid who is always experiencing pain, so why should he care about them? He only tolerates a handful of people and, likes only 2 or 3. And he isn't that popular either. Who cares. He doesn't.

Daring Charming has everything. He's kind, handsome, chivalrous, VERY POPULAR, and rich. He knows exactly why he was born, he's a prince who helps and saves people, is beloved by everyone, and will end up marrying apple white. And he is very ok with that arrangement! He's very ok with most things! Because he's ok with most things, he doesn't really think further than that until it discomforts him. Besides people don't really look at him to have opinions or original ideas and thoughts, people don't think of him THAT deeply! And he's also cool with that. It's not what he's made for.

Humphrey keeps falling off of things and slipping and all around almost hurting himself horribly and Daring is always somehow there to save him. Always catching him and shit. It embarrasses Humphrey a lot but Daring is always cool about it, as he is with most things. This song and dance happens every so often and it always gets Humphrey feeling very very stupid about it. He isn't used to this.... What, commitment? From anyone? If he could say anything about Daring Charming is that he's VERY COMMITTED to keep up this ruse that he actually cares enough about Humphrey to always save him from feeling shittier than usual. At least that's what Humphrey tells himself every time Daring Charming makes his way into his mind. It's better to hold that strict belief, than believe... Anything else. He's too busy and tired for this shit. Besides, outside of that song and dance, and the stupid silly short conversations that surround them, they're at the end of the day not a part of each other's lives.

Until one day Humphrey had a great big fall and... For the first time in months he broke a bone, and now he feels a bit more sick and tired. Great. Daring for some reason wasn't there. It broke Humphrey for like, a minute over it, but then he just shoves those feelings away and decided that it doesn't matter. Daring never made ANY PROMISES he would always be there for Humphrey. And Humphrey is stupid. He's stupid.

Humphrey decides to do some work that he's been tasked to take care of for Blondie's mirror cast in bed, and everything is quiet. When suddenly he hears some very loud footsteps running up to his door, and someone barges in. And it's Daring Charming. Errrmmmmm what the fuck

Daring's jaw is agape, in disbelief... He quickly gets down on the floor next to Humphrey's bedside and expresses how sorry he is that he could even allow this to happen, almost sobbing as he explains. Humphrey is still processing him being here, completely baffled.

Humphrey sputters over his words and tells Daring that he shouldn't be sorry, it's not his responsibility any way. And then Daring cheerfully says that he had made it his responsibility for a while now. Wait. What.

Humphrey felt his face heat up, and once again he felt even more stupid. Just how easy is he to flatter?

Daring ends up telling Humphrey that he's going to make it up to Humphrey, by hanging out with him, and doing whatever Humphrey asks him too. He's going to be the most helpful friend Humphrey has ever had. For CHIVALRY!

Humphrey stares at him and says with a straightface, don't you have shit to do?

Daring smiles and answers, nope!

They do actually end up becoming real friends, and Humphrey pretends those old feelings aren't there anymore. Conversations with Daring are really really funny and intertaining, and this guy is actually like, really nice! And for once it was nice to have a friend you don't only interact with because of work or classroom projects. Like, if Humphrey could hang out with anyone... He would want to be with Daring. And that's weird. What the fuck.

Humphrey is always tired and pissed off about something, but the air seems to turn light and easy when Daring's around, and it's hard to not be effected by it.

It makes Humphrey very, very happy whenever Daring compliments and recognizes the hard work he puts into multiple school projects that have a technical division. And Humphrey found out that Daring is very good at giving compliments.

Errmmmmmmm nerd x popular guy moon x sunshine "I want to see more out of nowhere daring ships okay goodnight"

Omg why did I write so much this was supposed to be a dumb little post about this dumb little crackship but WHOOPS! hand slipped and this half baked mess is born. The party can get started; Duchess has arrived!

As we all know dolls don't always look like the cartoon version but Mattel really did Duchess dirty so I wanted to fix what I could to make her closer to her animated self.

The first and most important thing was fix her hair!! I don't understand why Mattel gave her that giant pouf if they weren't going to duplicate it (Darling Charming also suffered from this). Also they made her hair mostly black?? WTF??

This literally took me several years and attempts as rooting is not my forte and her hair-do kind of confounded me BUT I finally figured it out! (I'm slow lol)

I rooted several rows around her hairline with a bump-it in the center lol. I got her stripes figured out (the center one is not very clear as it's lavender/black/lavender and the lavender gets lost in the white). I can't get her hanging piece to curl (the nylon is really stiff) but for now I'm content:)

I painted over her eyebrows black and her pink lips to the luscious red they are supposed to be. I also gave her some shimmery eye shadow (color shift purple) as I felt she needed it. Her headdress does not resemble the one she wears in the show but I like it and just painted it.

Mattel gave her a big block-y necklace but I found her a simple one that matches the animated one. There's supposed to be little lace up panel on her dress in the front but they gave her this solid black corset/belt thing instead which I painted. Her over skirt was fine but instead of putting a layer of tulle underneath it's tulle printed fabric lol. I made a black tulle petticoat for some added poof which extends just past the skirt like it does in the show. Her tights were supposed to be white with a curlicue design so OF COURSE Mattel gave her black fishnets >.< I wasn't confident about doing the curlicue so was happy I found a thin shimmery fabric that was perfect as the iridescence matches the iridescence on her skirt:)

Duchess is one of my favorite characters from EAH so I'm ecstatic to get her to where I felt she needed to be:)

i have to calm down bro its not that deep

i was nawt expecting to get so stupid emotional over lisa and taffy's rltshp getting into lisa frankenstein i feelso fucking stupid . i cant even form coherent thoughts rn

taffy being introduced as a shallow self centered cheerleader stepsister but pretty early on you can tell that she genuinely does care about lisa even though she unintentionally comes off as passive aggressive or her way of trying to connect with her sister and trying to help her is a little misguided LIKEEEEE ..............

i was kind of worried about the whole both liking the same guy thing but like ghorhgofghdfoghd idk really liked how that whole thing played out and it leading to their final goodbye scene between the sisters like godgoisdjgoisjdgkgjsdkjgksdjgskldlskd and they could have easily spin this as taffy being secretly cruel this whole time in a shock reveal that the bitchy stepsister is stealing the protagonist's crush but it didnt go that direction and it rly does make sense for taffy's character because, she likes the same guy as her sister, that can happen, theyre teenagers, but she doesnt want lisa to hate her !! taffy has gone through so much effort to build a connection with her stepsister !! and maybe she shouldnt have hid that secret from lisa but its just normal teenager mistakes ............

which is why like im soSOOO distraught over like their final scene together where lisa finally acknowledges taffy after the initial anger because she realizes that taffy had always been her biggest supporter . like it just hurts so bad because their relationship could have been good but it was broken before it could really begin and all taffy had left of lisa was the necklace she gave her . LIKE IT REALLY HAD TO END THIS WAY AFTER THE MURDER AND SHIT LIKE GODDAMMITTTT GODDAMMMITTTT THIS SHIT HURT WORSE THAN THE EDWARD SCISSORHANDS ENDING I SWEAR TO GODDDD

(and before anyone takes it that lisa doesnt love taffy back, she DOESSSS, more than she realizes before this moment. the way that lisa would bring up "taffy says you shouldnt try to fix boys" unprompted, how she protested against wearing taffy's dress at first because its hers, etc, like she does have her sister in mind, but her own trauma and hangups and bad rltshp with the stepmom held her back from opening up to taffy LIKEEE!?!?!? AND NOW THEY CANT EVER HAVE THAT OPPORTUNITY TO FIX THEIR RLTSHP AGAIN THATS WHATS SO TRAGIC TO ME IT HURTS SO BAD!!!!!!!!

I DONT KNOOOOW I JUST HAD TO SPILL MY THOUGHTS OUT BECAUSE I LOOOOVE CHARACTERS LIKE TAFFY (shallow self-centered spoiled girl who is actually well meaning and whose good intentions end up hurting more than helping . coughs in apple white eah and siobhan from wendell and wild) AND FOR A LIGHTHEARTED ROMPY CAMPY CRINGY HORROR ROMCOMEDY WITH GOOFY CHARACTERS I WAS ACTUALLY SO DEVASTATED OVER LISA AND TAFFY AND THEIR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT FEELS SO EARNED. I CANT DO IT. THIS IS MY FROZEN . BETTER SISTER MOVIE THAN FROZEN <-- hasnt watched frozen

Within Hogwarts many secretes and mysteries were held some solved and discovered. The castle may hold many secretes but within those wall were student holding their very own secrets. Y/N potter being one of them holding a secret that would shock not only her brother and friends but the whole school it self. What is that secret you may ask well. She was dating non-other the Slytherin prince Draco Malfoy

Under the cloak of darkness, Y/N and Draco found solace in secret midnight meetings by the Black Lake. The stars bore witness to their whispered confessions and stolen kisses, hidden from the prying eyes of the wizarding world.

Later that evening Draco and I decided to meet up near the black lake. We hadn't seen each other since last year and I had missed him so much as I was making my way down from the girls' dorms. I noticed that people were awake so I decided to wait it out till they went to bed. I wasn’t too worried about them coming this way since it sounded like there were only two boys away. But as i was listening i realised it was harry and ron talking curious i decided to inch a bit closer to listen in on their conversation.

Harry: I hate that she seems to always be around him. She says she's just being nice but i don't know i feel like there's more there

Ron: I don't know mate maybe your reading way too much into i mean she's your sister there's no way he would go near her let alone like her

Harry: Well i dont care shes the only remaining family i have to protect her no matter what

Ron: Your funeral man better hope she doesn’t find out. Let head to bed now i'm pretty tired

As they got up to head to bed i could feel my anger bubbling to the surface but i had to stop my self or else id get caught as soon as they reached the top i bolted out of the common room straight for the lake i nearly got caught by filch but finally made it to the lake

Y/N: i am so sorry for being late my brother and ron were in the common room and i couldn't get past them till they left

Your groaned thinking about the conversation they had how dare harry try to control you life even if you weren secretly dating Draco you can be nice or be friends with anyone

Draco: its okay but i'm sensing that's not the only reason your seething with anger

He chuckled i swear if i didn't love him so much i push him into the lake

Y/N: You're not wrong about that, get this harry is planning to keep you away from me by any means necessary and does want you around me unless needed like class. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT.

Draco : I can and i can't really blame him i do bully him and his friends

Y/N: don't agree with him plus you've been toning it down, which again thank you for that it was really nice of you to do

Draco: anything for you my love plus I rather you happy with me then angry, you angry is scary

I looked at him shock what the heck is he being for really right now

Y/N: that's exactly what ron said when he warned harry, am I that scary

Draco looked worried and scared to answer my question, he didn't even need to answer anymore i could see the answer on his face

Y/N; oh my god im scary i thought i wasn’t im nice, how can i be scary but nice

Draco laughed at my statement as if what i said was the funniest thing in the world

Draco; love your the most kind and caring person in the world and when you like that you look so sweet and innocent but when someone crosses you which is rarely your looks could literally kills someone no joke i mean

I stared at him shock what the fuck i mouthed at him unable to get the words out at that he chuckled

Draco: its true pls i've seen it with my own eye when a slytherin from a year above us was bullying a hufflepuff you came rushing in blazing a path behind you and let me say i've never seen someone and scared as that guy trust me and everyone around wouldn't wanna be at the receiving end

I was in shock, people were that scared of me. That is why the slytherin’s started being nice to me. I thought that was because of Draco but apparently not.

Y/N I don't know if i should be offended or proud of myself

I gave a nervous laugh

Draco: proud cause of you that hufflepuff wasn’t bullied anymore you really help her out

At the thought of helping someone else it really made me happy and not feel too guilty at scaring people

I leaned my head onto Draco shoulder the leaked really looked beautiful tonight no clouds so the moon was in full view as well as the stars i never wanted this to end

The i heard bushes rustling

Y/N: did you hear that

Draco: yeah i did

He got up from where we were sitting pulling me to stand behind before yelling towards the bush

Draco: Who's there? Come out we know your there

Draco pulls out his wand pointing it in the direction of the sound. I did the same waiting for whoever was out there to reveal themselves. The wind started to pick up blowing stronger creating more sound causing me and Draco to tense but then the rustling started again getting closer and closer till..

Y/N: oh thank god its just a dog

It was a cute black dog can’t believe a dog got us all riled up i ended up giggling at the thought

Draco sighed in relief

draco : glad it was just a dog and not an intruder

Y/N: me too

I start to walk towards the dog wanting to pet it but Draco grab my hand to stop me

Draco: Hey we don't know this dog what if they have rabies and hurts you

Y/N: don't worry Draco it's a good dog look

The dog started to approach me and sniff my hand, once knowing i wasn't a danger it got up and jumped on me try to lick my face

Y/N: hey stop that

I laughed at the situation but Draco was still wary of the dog

Draco: oi get off her you annoying dog you're ruining our date

The dog stopped licking my face then turned to Draco giving him a growl the dog did not like that

Y/N: hey don't growl at him his just trying to protect me and you

I look towards Draco and he looked surprised that i was reprimanding him

Y/N: don't be mean to the dog his just being friendly aren't you cutie

The dog stopped growling at Draco and turned back to me looking happy again even wagging his tale

Draco let out a sigh

Draco: well he seems like he likes you and seems like i'm not gonna win this so ill let it go

You look at Draco thankfully you always loved animals especially dogs since you were a kid see people taking their dogs on walk and always wishes you had your own fluffy friend

Not that you forgot about you owl O/N she was a sweet bird and will always have number 1 spot in your heart right next to Draco

You ended up laugh out loud again catching Draco attention

Draco: Hey what are you laughing about aye

He asked with a huge smile on his face

Y/N: oh nothing don’t you worry your pretty little head

He gasped in offence jokingly

Draco: i can not believe i own girlfriend would hide a secret from me how could you i am deeply wounded

He then turned away from folding his arms like a child throwing a tantrum

I stopped patting the cute black dog and stood up making my way towards Draco still facing away from me

Y/N: im sorry darling did i hurt you feelings

With a huff he replied

Draco: yes very hurt why would you keep anything from me you loving and amazing boyfriend

I rolled my eyes at his dramatic and fact outburst

Y/N: how can i make it up to you then

This tip i tried to make him look at me by trying to make eye contact but he would keep moving

Draco: you can't do anything i so oh so deeply hurt

He was enjoying this way to much i swear ill get him back for this

Y/N: would you forgive me if i gave you a kiss

That got him to relax his shoulders seeing that i was winning i decided to go for the kill shot

Y/N: How about a kiss on the lips maybe would that make you forgive

At that statement he turn around so fact and grabbed me by the waste and gave me a loving but passionate kiss

I put my hands on his cheek to try and deepen the kiss but was rudely interrupted by a loud bark

Y/N: what is wrong with you why are you so mad that his kissing me hmmm

The dog just sat their innocently as if to say i didn't do anything after we stopped kissing i had realised we were out later then we intended

Y/N: i think we should back into the castle its getting late i dont want you getting in trouble

Draco: don't worry about me plus i rather you not get in trouble you know how your brother is

Y/N: your absolutely right about that his such a git

Draco: i knew that from day one sooo

I laughed thinking of all the time the two fought. They were both so childish at times.

Draco: so can i walk my beautiful Lioness back to her house or will you deny such an honour

He looked at me pleadingly even though he knew i say yes

Y/N: Of course you can my handsome serpent prince

I patted the dog once last time before walking backing to Draco ready to leave the lake and back to the castle

Draco: lead the way princess

I held onto Draco's hand pulling him along with me

Y/N: not without my prince of course

At the we laughed today may not have started the best but it ended in the nest way possible

Burned Out Gifted Kid Ramona

Now just hear me out for a second...

This is probably (more like definitely lol) just me projecting but Ramona gives me "burned out gifted kid that had a mental breakdown" kinda vibes. Well maybe she doesn't give off those vibes exactly but I could see her being a burned out gifted kid. (I literally have no reason to think this and yet here i am)

Like I could see her being the really smart and talented kid of her class but no one believes her bc she's just a rough and tough Badwolf. So she would try really hard to prove that she's not just a cliché bad guy who uses brawns over brains.

But then by freshman year at EAH she starts getting even more stressed bc now destiny is all anyone can focus on and she has a mental breakdown bc now not only does everyone think she's all brawn over brain but they basically demand it from her for her destiny when she tries to prove them wrong.

This breakdown would cause her to stop caring as much and basically give up on her classes and other interests. Eventually she starts failing to the point where she doesn't even try in the classes she has to take for her destiny. So to try and correct this Headmaster Grimm tells professor Badwolf to send her to reform school to get more serious about her destiny.

Professor Badwolf eventually agrees only after seeing how stressed EAH is making Ramona feel. Once at the Dark Forest Reform School, Ramona tries to get her grades just good enough to transfer back so that she can be with her dad and Cerise. Then she realizes that the students there are mostly a bunch of delinquents bc duh its called a reform school for a reason. After meeting a few of them and even making a few friends she starts to think of herself more and starts to act laid back and relaxed, not caring what people think.

Deep down she still hates the way people judge her before getting to know her but she now knows how harmful it is to try to win other peoples approval. Plus people leave her alone more now that they think she's just another selfish villain so she has space to breathe without someone constantly telling her she's doing something wrong by not being mean.

She's still really smart, like she could easily be the top of her class if she wanted, she just stopped putting in the effort bc she thinks its pointless now. She also started getting back into some of her old interests that she had before the breakdown but now she does everything she can to hide them so that people won't discourage her from liking things outside of her destiny like they used to.

She doesn't really try to hide how smart she is but she's more reserved about it and will only say anything if she has to. Like if she has to answer something on the board or has to work in a group for a project and prove that she did her part.

Cerise knows how smart Ramona actually is and knows about the breakdown. She feels guilty for not being able to stand up for her when people tell her she's not as smart as she really is and for not realizing just how stressed Ramona really was. When students started noticing how sad and guilty Cerise looked after Ramona went to reform school that's when the rumors that it was her fault Ramona left began.

Ramona doesn't blame Cerise for not doing anything. In fact, she actively tried to hide her stress from her family bc she feels like they have enough to deal with and she still has a hard time opening up to them bc of that but she knows better now and is trying her best.

Once she transfers back to EAH she does her best to check on Cerise anytime she can so that she doesn't burn herself out like Ramona did. Ramona even tutors her sometimes for some of her more difficult classes.

I think this would be a pretty cool idea having Cerise be the really sporty one and Ramona being the secret nerd. In the book "Class of Classics" their mom (Red Riding Hood) seemed like a pretty smart and dedicated student. I think it even said she made freaking smoke bombs in one of the books(pls correct me if I'm wrong)

It would be nice to give Ramona a way to feel close to her mom since she seems more wolf than hood and Cerise seems to be a good mix of both(even if people in the show don't realize it).

WOW this turned out to be longer than i thought. Let me know what you guys think or if I got some info in the books wrong. And I'm gonna be honest, since she doesn't have a lot of screen time I mostly got this idea from how I've seen her portrayed in fanon sometimes. Do with that what you will.

you know what would be cool ?? if we got ever after high skullectors. okay, maybe not skullectors but collector dolls. haunt couture ever after high

i know, call me delusional but i randomly remembered the dress that was supposedly for apple for the MH x EAH crossover lost movie

mattel is clearly still capable of making OG monster high dolls so i don’t really understand why they even made Gen3 ?? anyway, OG MH are now collector dolls (skullector, haunt couture and howliday lines). it would be nice to have haunt couture EAH dolls and see them using the OG MH doll bodies like it was supposedly intended for the lost movie dolls

like please mattel !! i would LOVE to see this happen !! they can be done the way the midnight runway dolls are so everyone who wants one can get the chance of getting one vs the way drops are handled for the horror movie skullectors (and OG haunt couture dolls) where they just drop them and it’s first come first serve

and yes, we all know since mattel is back with disney they’re obviously never gonna bring back EAH, but i like to think EAH haunt couture dolls wouldn’t put a dent on or be a threat to disney. once those dolls are out, that’s it. mattel creations doesn’t do rereleases, so disney really has nothing to worry about. all it does is help mattel make a lil more side money, but who knows. there’s no way of knowing how disney would react to it. i understand a fairytale themed doll line is seen as competition to disney, but no one owns fairytales. not anymore that is. they’re literally public domain and free for anyone to interpret how they like, much like mattel did with apple white and made her a blonde snow white (also to possibly reference snow white from snow-white and rose-red), so disney really can’t do much if people do use them as inspiration. they can only trademark their version of it

as much as i’d love to see all EAH characters being made into a monster and getting haunt couture dolls, i will be okay if they just did the main four (apple, raven, briar and maddie). that’s it. they don’t have to make a full line up. just please… give us something :((

making huntlynn even the smidgiest bit more compelling was almost the singular goal of this arc, i certainly had a lot of fun expanding on both of their characters and if it makes it a more compelling story then oh what a bonus!!!!!! both their characters always deserved more 2 me, what with being the first official followers of the rebel movement. something that i always thought was left in the dust by the series .. >:[ .

dexter, too - the boy who deserves oh so much more!! i am trying to integrate him more into the story at large. i am interested as to what people will think of what i do with him.... it is a good sign that you are taking a shine to him at least!! a high honour!!!! i must be doing something right.

i too hope the words come back to me soon. it's been a terribly barren instance these past few months with university and burnout and plain old 9 to 5s... thronecoming is proving a little harder than i thought. it is, in truth, the arc i've thought the least about, my love for wonderlandian shenanigans unfortunately demanding more real estate in my brain than what i've taken to observing as the transitional period before spring unsprung. i want to give it all the love and care it deserves, as so very much happens !!! and briar's arc is so very crucial. i just want to do it right. or at least, enjoyably. it will happen soon, i'm sure of it. the love is there! i just need to find the words....

Remember that a good portion of my favorites is not on here. Bunny/Faybelle, Alistair/Maddie, Chase/Lizzie, etc., were omitted. It does surprise me how many ships I’ve come around to over the years, and even a lot of them that I’ve started to ship now, like Lizzie/Duchess or Cerise/Cedar.

And just for funsies (plus I’m bored), I’ll go through each ranking and each individual ship in them. It’ll take a while, but let’s have some fun!

OTP Status

Daring/Rosabella

Hey, in my defense: I really liked their chemistry and the potential that these two are a big reason I love them so much. Plus, you can’t deny how great their kiss in the dream was. Also, their dynamic gives strong Mondler (Monica x Chandler) vibes, and I’m here for it!

Apple/Darling

My lesbians! While I always liked them, I’ve grown to love them more as I’ve gotten older. I love the red/blue of their color scheme; it’s always so pleasing to me personally. I do wish we could’ve gotten to see more of them. (Side note: Little Miss Perfect is perfect for them, and we love to see it)

Raven/Dexter

While my shipping heart doesn’t love them as much as I did when I was younger, I think they are lovely together. Their first date is so realistic, and their chemistry is so natural. Would have loved to see them finally be together after the Blue Moon Forest Fest arc.

It’s grown on me/I ship it

Briar/Ashlynn

“they were roommates” “*gasp* they were roommates!” I love the two of them together; it just feels so heartfelt. One of these days, I’ll do something for ‘em.

Cupid/Blondie

Such a pure ship that quickly slipped under my radar as a kid, at least until this video. Their color schemes work together quite nicely. Would have loved to see more interactions between them that weren’t as subtle.

Lizzie/Duchess

I’m biased right now, as I recently got ‘Next Top Villain,’ and that,r friendship is adorable. She even saves Lizzie’s life! And the way Lizzie constantly ignores Daring for Duchess is just, ugh! They are goals! And it actually made me like Duchess, which I didn’t before.

Farrah/Ashlynn

My personal favorite Ashlynn ship. Farrah’s design is a bit weird, but I love how supportive they are of one another. Once their fairytale is over, I can see them coming together to be fashion co-designers. (Assuming Farrah doesn’t poof, that is)

Apple/Briar

I adore their friendship, but I can’t help but also see it in a romantic sense. They probably experimented with each other secretly to figure out their sexualities but never told anyone. They eventually drift away, but the Royal Trio (Apple, Briar, Ashlynn) has become one of my favorite EAH friend groups.

Cedar/Cerise

They’re cute roommates, the only Cerise or Cedar ship I like. We stan a strong asexual couple!

Daring/Sparrow

They’re just so competitive, and it’s really amusing. Hunter/Sparrow is also one I like; I’m surprised it wasn’t on this.

Duchess/Justine

Rivals/Lovers. Duchess needed a challenger, and her girlfriend was that challenger!

Holly/Cedar

It’s kinda grown on me in the last couple of months, especially since their dolls are almost in the same doll line. Besides, they’re both artistic, so it’s pretty cute.

Hunter/Ashlynn

I didn’t care/like them for the longest time. I always thought they sometimes tried too hard to make them the Cleo/Deuce of the show, and I didn’t care much for them either. But now? They’re such a sweet and healthy couple; I feel bad for being so hard on them for so long.

Raven/Cupid

Irony that they’re voiced by the same person, for one. I think they’d be cute for two, plus their aesthetics are so different that it just works. If this was the end result of the love triangle, it would give Korrasami vibes, and I’m here for it.

Kitty/Lizzie

They still aren’t my favorite, but their moments are cute, and I adore their close friendship. Clearly, the two of them understand each other better than anyone other of the Wonderlandians.

Apple/Maddie

Them being co-presidents is entertaining; when you really think about it, Apple, Maddie, and Raven become a trio in marketing. I don't know; there’s just something about their energy that’s super entertaining.

Justine/Ramona

Not much to say here; I just think it’s cute and what we see of them reminds me a bit of my beloved Bunnell.

Cute!!! Not my personal preference though

Ashlynn/Cupid

A bit of a random one, if I’m being sincere. A friendship between them would be cute, as they’re two romantics. Also, Cupid being scared of the woods? GIRL, you were from the monster world!

Ginger/Darling

We just don’t see enough of the two of them for me to really ship it. It did make me think, “...Is Darling a lesbian?” however. It does suck that Ginger never actually finds out that the White Knight is Darling, as far as we know.

Dexter/Cupid

This is one of my friend’s favorite ships, which is fine. They’re cute, but Cupid being so Dexter-obsessed was really annoying. I really like their friendship, though.

Daring/Lizzie

The episode is cute, but I think they’re a bit overrated. It’s interesting, but how Kitty’s diary and Next Top Villain portray them has ruined the possibility of me shipping it again.

Ramona/Rosabella

This and Cerise/Rosabella are basically the same ships, so I don’t see it. Ramona isn’t a character I care much for, so that doesn’t help.

Cedar/Ginger

A bit random to me, but that’s just me.

Duchess/Poppy

Cute potential, especially since it’s confirmed in “Truth or Hair” that Duchess goes to Poppy to get her hair trimmed. Plus, I did ship it briefly after Fairest on Ice came out. Fanart of ‘em is cute.

Holly/Ginger

I love a good crack ship as much as anyone, but this is still very random. I love both characters, and I see them as a cute couple, but not really for me.

platonic besties

Apple & Ashlynn

True Hearts Day is one of my favorite specials, and everything between these two is precisely why. Their friendship is admirable and realistic. As I said with Briar/Apple, the Royal Trio is one of my favorite friend groups for good reasons.

Cedar & Raven

I love their friendship in the books. Raven, Maddie, and Cedar are the Rebel Trio there, essentially. They’re so supportive of each other, and I love that.

Apple & Daring

The ultimate lesbian/himbo friendship. That’s all I have to say.

Cerise & Daring

They’ve just never been my cup of tea. I’ve always seen them as a badass set of co-captains of the Bookball team. Daring inviting her to dance with him seemed like more of a thank you and a friendship forming rather than romantic.

Daring & Hopper

They’re roommates, which is pretty cool. But I don’t really care much for Hopper, so eh.

Darling & Chase

They argued more like siblings or competitive friends. I love rival dynamics, but I think they would better give each other tips on fighting. Basically, they and Darise have the same vibes.

Darling & Cerise

A duo we deserved to see more of! I can see them having fun in Grimmnastics but entrusting one another with their secrets. Plus, they just look great together.

Dexter & Hopper

They were only in the intro together, so there is not much to say. But I can see them bonding over their crushes on Raven and Briar (later Ginger, in Hopper’s case).

Dexter & Humphrey

A good pair of nerds, and I love their friendship in the books. They both rap, and that is just so funny to me!

Kitty & Duchess

Another unlikely friendship with Duchess and a Wonderlandian, but they both cause a lot of chaos (in their own ways). Plus, they have the whole thing of upholding the family expectations in common, which I wonder if anyone has ever thought of.

Raven & Apple

Alright, the big one. I’ll start by saying that there’s no doubt in my mind that Apple absolutely had a crush on Raven, she’s far too touchy, and it’s very suspicious. Although, their friendship is great, with many difficulties between the two girls. They’re both right and wrong regarding the Royal/Rebel situation. (I needed to get that piece off my chest.) There are sometimes moments that I would say that they aren’t the healthiest friendship, but regardless I like them.

Raven & Maddie

Friendship goals!!! I adore them, even if I’m not a Raven fan. They’re incredible in the books, but cartoon them is great too.

Sparrow & Poppy

They’re on here, but Holly/Daring isn’t? Interesting. Anyways, Sparrow and Poppy could be cute, but I love their friendship in Truth or Hair. They just get each other and it isn’t romantic in the slightest.

Sparrow & Duchess

Same goes for these two, honestly. These two are partners in crime, definitely. But they’re not romantic. Plus he’s one of Duchess’ only friends, which makes their dynamic so great.

Maddie & Kitty

A great chaotic friendship and I appreciate that Maddie is so encouraging when they’re facing off with Kitty’s mom. She was probably the least angry with Kitty in Spring Unsprung, at least as far as I could see. I love them.

Raven & Cerise

Easily one of my favorite friendships. Their connection is admirable and Cerise reveals herself to her village to protect Raven from getting drowned in the books! They’re such a good friendship and I’m glad it was added to the show.

Hunter & Hopper

Don’t care, but maybe it could be a good friendship.

Briar/Faybelle

Yes, I’m aware of how popular this ship has become. They’re both tied for being my third favorite character and I love them both very deeply. But eh, I have never gotten the appeal. They’re frenemies and I love that about them. Although, the look that Faybelle gives Briar in the dream is one of my best pieces of proof of her being a lesbian.

Daring/Alistair

They’re both blonde himbos, not much else to say.

Raven/Darling

Darling can do a lot better if I’m being perfectly blunt here. There’s a good friendship that could be interesting, but I just don’t see the appeal.

Jillian/Humphrey

Nothing against this one, I just don’t care about them. Jillian’s design is so busy and ugly to me, and her voice is too annoying. Humphrey can do better.

Nina/Jillian

Adventuring girlfriends could be cute. They are roommates as well, but eh they both showed up too late for me to care.

Ginger/Maddie

It would be cool if Ginger worked at the Tea Shoppe, I can’t deny that. Give Maddie some help! Good friendship potential, just a bit indifferent to it.

Melody/Cupid

More power to you if you ship it, but I do not. It’s a bit too random.

Bunny/Alistair

Easily the most annoying ship to me. Reading Bunny’s diary didn’t help with my perception either, it only made it worse. Bunny (or Harley, as I headcanon to what her name actually is) has one of the cutest designs in all of EAH and she reduced to being a love interest to a very annoying will they-won’t they. They have no chemistry, they’re focused on way too much, and they remind me so much of the situation with Adrien/Marinette. Just ask one another out already and put an end to my suffering, for Pete’s sake!!!

Briar/Hopper

I do think they look nice together, but Hopper really should have moved on. Briar only liked how he complimented her and came to her every aid, which makes one of my favorite characters come off as a very shallow person for that alone. The way it’s implied in Bunny’s diary that Briar likes him too just doesn’t fly with me, because she’s never shown any actual interest in him. Bunnistair and Bropper are probably the ships I dislike the most.

Crystal/Farrah

This is mostly my Crystal hatred talking. But they also look way too similar, which makes my head hurt.

Cerise/Kitty

I know it’s the dog/cat dynamic that drives people in. But Kitty purposely tried to expose Cerise’s secret, despite knowing what it could do to her and her family. This and Clawdeen/Toralei just do not fly with me.

Cerise/Maddie

They’re both too different that I just can’t see it working out. I do appreciate that her dad is the one that married her parents and Maddie does keep Cerise’s secret a secret, so they have that going for them.

Femslash Feb Day 4 - Retro - Raven/Apple

eah makes its appearance!!!

this was so fun to write. i am not at home so i didn’t have a ton of time to do research. but when in doubt... add a fairy pun

Brief Summary: Raven tries to get dressed for the old fable dance.

Raven didn’t know why she’d agreed to this. An old fable dance meant old fable clothes. She sighed, looking in the mirror at the dress that Apple had bestowed upon her. It was very much not her style. Super bright whites and golds. And the ruffles. Layer upon layer. Oh Grim. She was going to totally embarrass herself.

“I’m back!” Apple sounded as she opened the door. There were definitely some perks to dating your roommate, but also some qualms. Right now, Raven really wished she had some privacy. “Does it fit okay?”

Upon entering the room, Apple paused. “You didn’t even try it on,” she said, frowning. “You know the dance is in an hour, right?” She was decked out in her own ruffly fairytale fit. And she’d already done her makeup and everything.

“Yeah, Apple, I…” Raven drifted off, not sure what to say. It was kind of Apple to let Raven borrow her mother’s dress, but she was having horrible visions of everyone laughing when she entered the room.

“You don’t want to go.” Apple looked down. “I knew it wasn’t your thing. I was just hoping maybe we could try it. Just this once.”

“No, we can it’s just… I don’t think this really fits me.”

“Is it too small? Too big? I’ve been learning how to sew in damsel class, I can get my kit-”

“Not fit fit.” Raven let the dress hang loosely in her hands. “Just all of the princess stuff. The balls and parties. I just don’t think I fit in.”

“Oh, Raven.” Apple sighed, walking over towards her. “You don’t have to be anyone but who you are. It’s okay if you’re different.”

“Don’t you think it’s embarrassing?” Raven glanced over at her. “I look like such a fairy freak.”

“Not at all.” Apple touched her shoulder lightly. “But if you really don’t want to go, we can skip tonight.”

“Really?” Raven couldn’t keep a slightly enthusiastic note from entering her voice. “I mean. Oh no… If you’re really sure…”

Apple’s touch turned into a light smack on the arm. “Don’t sound too excited.” She rolled her eyes, then smiled slightly, leaning in to catch Raven in an embrace. “The dance would be great and all, but nothing’s better than just spending time with you.”

Raven let the dress fall to the floor, leaning into Apple’s grasp. “Maybe we could watch fairy scary movies?”

“Whatever you want.” Apple gave her a light kiss on the cheek before letting go. “I’ll get changed. And pick that dress up,” she said commandingly, “it’s one of my mom’s favorites.”

Raven laughed, grabbing the dress and dusting it off in her hands. She’d gotten fairy lucky to have such an amazing girlfriend.
