(anon who likes discoworld and artemis fowl, this is directed at my haters, not you OTNF) I am *allowed* to be bothered by fans of harmful things getting defensive to the point of pretending the things they like are uniquely high quality. This happens all the time! And not just with fiction.

i remember when dollzkill got cancelled for racism and tons of dollzkill fans defended the company by saying the clothes were too high quality to stop buying. They're not. It's just fast fashion with an edgy style and the quality is no better than Shein.

if you want to buy or promote the harmful thing, fine, i can't stop you. I eat meat, use single-use plastics, enjoy works by (deceased) bigots and buy from Amazon when I can't get something somewhere else. Everyone does harm - you just get to choose what harm is worth it to you.

But do not lie to me or deceive yourselves about the irreplaceable quality of something just because you want a way to feel better about your choices. Fucking own them because no one and nothing else can make them for you.

A book doesn't have to have lots of artistic merit for you to like it, regardless of who the creator is. Your feelings are your own and you don't have to justify them.

If anyone lives in Ohio, my friend and I are setting up 2 tables at The Iconic Jamie’s Flea Market in South Amherst. Northern Ohio’s largest Flea Market, use to be largest in Ohio. Definitely is the best! Is my favorite thrift spot. I will be selling some vintage 90’s - 2000’s from my collection, including toys, clothes and some normal random house hold stuff. I will haggle, I have very reasonable prices. I had knee surgery and sounds like I will have issues for the rest of my life so I’m trying to save and help with bills.

Right before I found out I was having surgery, I got Bratz denim platform shoes from Dollzkill for $99. Unfortunately I had to have surgery and can’t wear things like that anymore…. Makes me wanna cry because I never even wore them out. I only tried them on once, that was when they first arrived and they have been stored away since. Brand new. Planning on selling them for $60 but will take offers. They r stunning.

This is just some things I’m selling too, I also collect antiques and have a portable 1960s working record player So come check me out. I’m @90s-2000s-barbie
