The Benefits Of Drinkware To Users in UAE
Drinkware in UAE is one of the essential accessories for having a good time. It can help improve your productivity in the workplace, as well as in your leisure time. This article will discuss the benefits associated with drinkware for users in UAE.
Tumblr media
Factors Why You Need A DrinkWare
One of the main benefits of drinkware in UAE is
It is the ability to keep your drinks cold all day long.
It is especially important if you are a person who likes to drink on the go and doesn’t want to worry about running out of refreshments throughout the day.
Drinkware helps you avoid spills and keeps your desk clean.
If you drink coffee or other hot beverages often, buying drinkware that will keep them at an optimal temperature is a must-have.
Another benefit of having beverage ware is that it makes tracking your daily caloric intake easier.
By tracking how many glasses of water or juice you have consumed, you can make better food choices and ultimately lose weight.
Drinkware has medicinal properties and has been known to
Reduce stress levels
Tension headaches
Migraines
Increase creativity
Focus while working
Reduce anxiety
Boost moods!
Wearing fun, colourful beverage ware like Straw Cups or Mugs with your formal clothes can instantly change your look and give a unique touch that separates you from others without overindulging or going overboard on trying too hard!

TTFN Sale -- Up to 80% Off Everything
I don't have any clever marketing text or wacky ad graphics. All I came here to say is the store in it's current form is coming to an end. We've still got some inventory left over so I thought why not do a big sale to get it into the hands of people who really want it. The shop will be open from now until Monday at midnight (or until we run out of things to sell). Any leftover inventory will be sent to the tumblr employee store, so if there is anything you want from the shop, now is the time to get it. We won't be offering any of these products for sale to the public ever again. We have deeply discounted Stylized English Ea-Nasir Bracelets (our vendor sent us a bunch of the wrong ones that we got a fantastic deal on) and oops drinkware (where it could be any design, style or color).

Frozen Through the Years
Yearly Spotlight: 2016
Written by @secretsofthestorymakers
2016 was a BIG YEAR for the Frozen fandom. There were not many big events, but the real-world reach of the franchise itself expanded greatly.
In Disney World, the newly-rethemed Norway in Epcot opened, including the ride Frozen Ever After, the Royal Sommerhus (where guests could meet Elsa and Anna), and a Frozen-themed shop selling everything from plush dolls to drinkware. At Disney’s California Adventure, fans celebrated the opening of Frozen: Live at the Hyperion, a 55-minute show that ran multiple times per day until the park closed for the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Sales of Frozen merch were going strong all over the world, to the point where discount shops stocked Frozen items along with the food they sold. Of course, most of the merch was aimed at children, but the Disney Enesco figurines proved to be popular among older fans! In March, Disney in Concert brought songs from Disney classics - including Frozen - to stages in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, allowing the magic of Frozen to be experienced by whole new audiences. The brand extension Frozen Northern Lights also began in 2016, expanding the lore of our favorite story in the form of 5 books published (4 of them in 2016) and 4 LEGO shorts (though some of this lore was decidedly not canon).
Within the fandom, 2016 was also the beginning of shipping wars; intense arguments over which characters should be together ensued, proving to be somewhat divisive for a previously unified fandom. As the official franchise and the fandom continued to grow, Frozen remained in the hearts of superfans and casual viewers alike.
Stay Tune for More
👆🏻 Click above if you want to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Frozen. The due date is April 12, 2024.
We look forward to seeing your memories ❄️

Excerpt from this essay from Sierra Club:
I’ve spent years encouraging people to ditch single-use plastic. Probably the most egregious example of single-use plastic is bottled water: The bottles are made from fossil fuels, the water filling them is often taken from communities and ecosystems that need it, and the pollution created when they’re disposed of will outlast all of us.
So when I heard that people were getting excited about the Stanley cup—a durable, reusable alternative to bottled water—at first it seemed like a victory. Stanley drinkware has been around for decades, mostly marketed as a rugged brand for workmen and outdoorsmen. But recently the company repackaged its signature products in a rainbow of colors and began marketing to women, positioning itself as a lifestyle brand for people headed to the carpool line or yoga class. Stanley’s collaborations with influencers sparked a storm of social media buzz, with people rushing to snatch up the latest limited edition and amassing collections of the colorful tumblers. The excitement over the Stanley cup grew into a fad—and that fad has become costly for the planet.
Unfortunately, Stanley cups are far from the only eco-conscious product to get corrupted by consumerism. Earth Day is just around the corner, and my inbox is currently filling up with Earth Day promotions from nearly every company that’s gotten ahold of my email address.
A few months ago, I bought a new pair of organic cotton pants from a company that uses minimal packaging and donates to conservation. I loved the fit and felt good about my purchase. But now that it’s almost Earth Day, this eco-conscious company is trying to make me believe that the only way to help the planet is to buy another pair of pants. By commercializing Earth Day, we’ve missed the point.
It's like this every year. Earth Day has become another “Hallmark holiday” marked by special sales and promotions, just another excuse to get people to spend money on things they don’t really need. Somehow, it’s even become an opportunity to shower kids with gifts. An HGTV article published last year promotes “20 Buys to Help Kids Celebrate Earth Day Every Day.” The gift suggestions range from wooden toys and organic cotton tees to kid-sized gardening tools and animal-adorned dinnerware made from bamboo.
Now, there’s nothing inherently wrong with a junior gardening kit or bamboo dinnerware. In fact, many of the ideas on these lists are better-than-average products in terms of environmental impact. Anything that gets kids interacting with the environment is better than cheap, plastic indoor toys; if you’re in the market for durable plates your kids can’t break, looking for sustainable materials is a good call. The problem is that we’re being sold a myth that shopping is the solution to our environmental crises.
The first Earth Day was a call to action against rampant air and water pollution. Twenty million people took part in demonstrations across the United States, and the movement led to the formation of the Environmental Protection Agency and some of our country’s strongest environmental laws, including the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Endangered Species Act. There were rallies and teach-ins around the country. People talked about the connections between environmental health and poverty, population pressure and pesticides. There were gardening workshops and automobile burials. It was a political, radical, and joyous event. No one went home with a swag bag full of face creams in recyclable jars and bamboo plates for the kids.
Earth Day has been watered down from a revolutionary moment that recognized shared values and the common threat of environmental harm to a day that’s little more than a social media hashtag like National Siblings Day or National Ice Cream Day. No amount of sustainable Earth Day purchases can buy our way out of the climate crisis or protect endangered species from extinction.
When environmental action is defined by the types of products we buy, we’ve really lost the plot.

ColdFlash fanmerch response summary!
I'm happy to share an update based on the collective responses to the interest check survey and share my plan for next steps. TL;DR several designs are underway and I'm excited :D
First up, a response summary of the major takeaways.
Most wanted fanmerch items:
1. Plush 2. Keychains 3. Stationery 4. Enamel Pins (tied) 4. Custom Figurines/Statues 5. Drinkware 6. Wearable/useable accessories (hats, socks, scarves, bags) 7. Soft home goods (blankets, towels, pillows)
Since plush took an early lead, and because it will take the longest in terms of manufacturing time, I got underway with plush designs foremost. While I would love to make all of these things, I’m figuring out what will be most viable to make and how I can supplement options for the rest via my existing print-on-demand storefronts.
Thinking about costs:
Another factor that I want to be considerate of based on responses is the overall cost for any items I make; for example, while I could design super-detailed and intricate poseable plush with removable clothes, they would easily cost $100+ USD each and - while I'm sure they'd be neat - they'd be rather unaffordable. As I'm planning to front the manufacturing costs for everything, they'd also be quite the investment for me too;;;
So, the plush I'm designing will be smaller (around 10 centimeters) with a keychain attachment, and my goal is to try to get the set of both to be around $40 USD (+shipping) or under, which will be a challenge but I'm happy to be working with a great manufacturer to bring these lads to life!
For other items I’d like to tackle, I’m similarly aiming to be mindful of overall cost, especially for this first batch of items; I’d rather err on the side of caution and approachability however I can.
How will the merch be sold?
When merch items eventually go up for sale, it will be via Etsy as the primary storefront. This is for a few reasons:
Platform familiarity & safety for both buyers and sellers.
Etsy has price breaks on shipping and has other things set up that make it internationally viable - Etsy did the hard work with navigating VAT so I don’t have to!
While Etsy does have some fees/cost to me as the seller, I can factor those into the overall cost of any item being sold through there without it being a massive extra cost (both in terms of time & money).
What’s it gonna look like?
In terms of design aesthetic, the predominant preferences were for either stylized realism or cuter stuff, with an excellent additional write-in contingent of folks who like it when things err on the side of subtle. I like to call this latter design aesthetic “secret handshake” where it’s a strong design first, and then - upon closer inspection - you notice the reference; this tends to be more approachable for folks to incorporate into everyday situations like taking/wearing something to work no matter what their dayjob situation is like! Obviously each option has its own challenges and lends to certain things more than others, so it’s going to be fun to balance designs for these approaches with some different items. I’m happily comfortable creating in all of these design styles and excited to do more!
Fanzine interest summary:
100% of responses are interested in a fanzine!
100% of responses indicated support for a fanzine which included a mix of both new and old/previously-shared works.
Format preference is for a main fanzine to be G/T (using AO3 ratings), with an optional secondary collection separate from the zine for any M/E/NSFW content.
I’m excited at the prospect of working together with folks to craft a fanzine! Before doing that, however, I’d process to do some diligence for organization and planning so that it won’t be a doomed undertaking before it begins. I also obviously won’t be tackling that on my own so would want to determine a team and process for production and transparency. Pre-orders also present their own tricky challenges but are often necessary when doing production runs for unknown interest without taking on a great individual financial burden up-front, so I’d want to ensure the zine for any M/E/NSFW content.
HOKAY - thank you for reading through all of that! I'm not sure how much folks are interested in me sharing about the info and process but I'm happy to do so - feel free to ask :D

claps, ohh boi, fellas. where do i even begin with this wild update. my brain is still kind of mush, so forgive me if i can't exactly articulate shit well, i guess??? but okay, so. I PLACED AN ORDER, RIGHT. at, wowow. sanrio dot com. it's been a while since i've shopped there, and i saw something i liked, so of course cool. i want to cop it. so i did, even though i said i was going to wait for a sale. i was still healthy when i placed the order and when it shipped out.
but i got sick by the time it arrived at my house. it came on the thirteenth??? i think. but anyways, i didn't open it right away because this was peak sick, like i was still vomiting i think. or at least still racked with the unwell. but i opened it on that saturday and i was so fucking upset because not only was i peak sick, but MY ORDER, THIS CUP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
CAME IN A REALLY BAD STATE. it's dirty, i don't even want to know what was on it or what touched it. like, absolute fucking eww and yikes. i was still in such a bad state but like after two days i forced myself to message them. because i was THE ACTUAL, FUCK??? and i was like, ohh. is there a way i can return this with a refund so i can re-purchase. or at least have some kind of exchange. because this is fucking nasty and defective.
and i was like gosh, i'm still so sick and i might have to go out to ship this back to them with labels and shit, like damn i fucking hate it in the club right now. but to my surprise and actual blessing for a hot moment. they replied, ohh thanks for reaching out!! we're sorry your product is like that, we'll key you in on another free of charge as we want to make this right.
and i was ELATED like, wow okay i don't need to go out. i'll just wait for the new one. but...BUT. come yesterday, the new one came in. but MAN, HERE I THOUGHT. OKAY, WELL HOPEFULLY THIS NEXT ONE WILL BE FRESH AND CLEAN AND NICE. LIKE, WOWOW. BUT IT ENDED UP TURNING OUT LIKE THIS.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
which, it's so hilarious because it's like. wow, it looks like the same damn first fucking mug, BUT IT'S NOT. LIKE, WHAT THE FUCK. LAUGHING. i just. i'm in actual bewilderment. flabbergasted. i'm so disappointed. my mom said this is all unfortunate, but she said you probably shouldn't complain anymore because they're probably not going to do anything.
to which, i agree. i don't think i'll like. say anything about it, i guess??? but sanrio did email me and asked how was the customer service, which look i'll admit, they were really fucking kind and understanding, and i do want to give a thumbs up. but they also asked for comments??? i'm kind of tempted to just tell them like. ohh, thanks for all this. but also, i'm actually still bummed??? LOLOL.
like, i dunno, guys can i have some thoughts??? or like, some 'advice' on how i should approach the email, or if even at all??? like. i don't think i'm obligated to say anything, but it's just like. what the fuck, sanrio i've bought from you for YEARS. and this is a first. you kind of jaded me on the glassware here. " 8'D "
i still trust them, i guess??? like, i'll still probably return to them one day. just not any time soon, and not with stuff like drinkware. the mug itself is twenty four bucks, but plus shipping and taxes it really did hit forty straight.
so i guess i got a little bit more than that value with the free one. but it's kind of like. i'm kind of stuck with two subpar dirty sons??? " 8\ " like, i was too busy taking pictures of the glass but the wood pieces are also kind of rough too. hence why i say it's rather subpar altogether. " orz "
but yeah, if doritos buddos could sound off with some advice with the email portion or something that would be nice. but i just want to know thoughts as well if you have time!! sorry this one is a bit of a doozy of a read. but that is all for the wild update. " u__u "

hi geese!! wb 14 and 24 for the asks? <3
hello crow! ❤️
14: If you are outside, what are you most likely doing?
taking a walk, gawping at stuff, listening to a podcast or audiobook. when it's warm enough, i'm sitting on my back porch (maybe doing some writing) or swinging in my hammock. it's too far away for me to go there regularly, but i love the meadow garden at longwood gardens. it is really one of my favorite places and i try to get there at least once a year. i was last there in august, and i ran into a bunny and a deer along the path!! another bit of everyday magic.
24: Do you have a collection of anything?
oh my god, i am sweating. ya girl loves stuff. i don't think i can call my massive out of control hoard of stickers and washi tape a collection anymore..... let's go with my collection of handmade drinkware, since it's potentially the most intentional? manageable? certainly one of the most beautiful. did i use this as an excuse to pull everything out and "style" a deranged little class photo? yes. (i use "style" extremely loosely. these photos are an insult to prop stylists.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i love a well designed object. i love something handmade. i love a small business.
the five glasses on the left (3 elevated, 2 lower) are from sirius glassworks (tip if anyone wants to shop: they do a big sale every december where you can snag their work at a discount, but you have to be ON IT to get glasses/tumblers like these. use those fest signup skills.).
pink/yellow/blue ceramic pint glass from forest ceramic co. (queer owned business!)
blue mug is from lail design (the most comfortable mug i've ever used!!)
two glass tumblers on the right (green/yellow and green/pink) are from little little tomato glass.
the ridged pink ceramic mug with orange handle is from mudwitch. (queer asian/latinx artist!) their website is closed, but you can see more work on their instagram
bumpy ceramic tumbler (which is the newest addition) is from nonporous ceramics.
yellow ceramic mug with green interior is by christi ahee. (asian artist)
the ceramic mug with stripes (there are also orange stripes, but i didn't angle the mug right :() is by not work related. if you go to her instagram, she just put up a post about how the finances/numbers work out for her as a ceramicist/small business owner. it's suuuper interesting and gives a lot of insight into these things.
ask me things! i do give overly detailed information that you didn't ask for most of the time!

Happy Almost Halloween Y'all!
As you all know, I'm struggling with my health, and the subsequent financial difficulties that come from that as well....
Thank you to those of you that have lent a helping hand!
I am currently the owner of more sets of "fine" china and drinkware then a non-Boomer should have in this economy. With the holidays approaching, if anyone out there has been scouring Goodwill and yard sales in the hopes of scoring a righteous set, maybe you don't have to look much farther?
I've got sets ranging from the restrained, to the extravagant (24kt gold? In *THIS* economy?!?), to retro (The 70s called, and they'd very much like their punch bowl back... the car keys have no where to go.), and so on. I'll include a few pictures, I have at least a dozen or so different full, complete sets. Please message me if you have a question about styles, prices, shipping, etc!
