Pokitomik is a new Poke establishment located in Glendale near Glendale High School. The place is fairly new at the time of reviewing the business. They try to serve poke in a more trendy fashion by reinventing the original healthy dishes into a style that is more fattening but tastier. When we went, we tried their poke burrito and poke nachos, which were amazing. The poke burrito is like an oversized sushi roll with tons of sauce and flavor. However, they put a unique twist on the burrito by covering the outer layer with hot cheetos. On the other hand, the poke nachos were like a standard poke bowl but instead of rice, they put nacho chips, which gave the food a crunchier effect. The sauces that were used in both of these dishes were magnificent primarily due to the fact that they were all homemade. The only downside might be the price, which may be considered expensive for a younger audience because the dishes both came out to be around $14 for each one. The service we received was phenomenal as we were served by the owner. The environment of the restaurant was also very nice as the place was very clean and looked new. We would definitely recommend you guys to visit.

Located in Beverly Hills, Boxwood of London is an extravagant restaurant that offers unique dishes based around American culture. The establishment was originally owned by Gordon Ramsay, but switched ownership and still offers the same selection of dishes he curated. At the restaurant, we started off with a Peanut Butter and Jelly smoothie. The drink itself was extremely odd and unique but still filled our taste buds with flavor. We also ordered the Roasted Lamb, Merguez sausage which came out to be extremely mouth watering and was very unique since the dish itself consisted of an odd makeup of ingredients. We also ate a custom ordered dish that the chef prepared that wasn’t on the menu but it contained beats as well as chicken. Overall, the food was very fascinating and packed a very diverse set of flavors. The pricing was fairly reasonable ranging from $16-$32 per dish considering this was a high-end restaurant. The service we received was phenomenal. The waitress was extremely kind and followed through with our requests in a timely and professional fashion. She even went out of her way to ask the chef to curate a special dish for our party that turned out fantastic. The environment at the establishment was also very soothing and calm. We were greeted with a room that was quiet and seats that were extremely comfortable. Overall, this establishment is a perfect place to go if you want to take an individual on a formal date, a business meeting, or just a celebration for a loved one.
