Arkham HeadCannons

During Harley Quinn's first week as an official Arkham prisoner, she continuously turned on the sprinklers to piss off the guards. Now she still does it but now it's so that her Darling Pamela can get enough water and not wither.

Once during a prison riot, Harvey broke his arm, it took three guards to prevent him from evening them out.

During a mass Arkham escape, Eliza once managed to sleep through the entire thing, wasn't disturbed once, and only realised that it happened because when she woke up no one was there.

Jervis once accidentally flushed 3 months' worth of fear toxin down the toilet, to this day Joanna doesn't know that it's him.

The Arkham staff once forgot to close the elevator when they were feeding killer Croc, it was quite a surprise when it came back up with a giant lizard inside.

During Ivy's first year in Arkham, her pheromones accidentally got into the ventilation system, which was not a fun week for the guards, worked out for Ivy, she managed to escape.

Joker's no longer allowed to eat with the others, he's bitten off five noses and seven ears.

Joanna to this day is still trying to figure out who flushed three months' worth of fear toxin down the drain, Jervis is pointing towards the Joker, evidence-less so.

//I want to talk more about the relationship between Edward Nygma and Eliza. I thank @talesfromthenorsesmouth for this version of Edward, he’s a pain in the ass but Eliza loves him anyway.

They first met when Eliza noticed some book had been stolen from the library and, naturally, people suspected Adam (for obvious reasons). In an effort to clear his name and not lose her job, she hired Edward to help her find them. Hilarity ensues, turns out it was Bolton, Adam’s name is cleared and Eliza still has her job.

She and Edward still kept in contact and their relationship grew into something more familial. She would invite him (and Vicki) over for tea and he would take her on the occasional case for her expertise in either books or mortician stuff.  He’s not that fond of Adam because he’s very protective of Eliza in a very “stay away from my daughter” kind of way and Adam’s not that fond of him, but they are working on it. She does get confused for his daughter and she takes advantage of it every time.

It all comes down to they have adopted each other and though he may be a pain in the ass, he’s her pain in the ass.

That much was apparent to every single one of Gotham’s citizens — it was as if, once you entered the upper echelons of Gotham’s society, once you gained power, though, that you suddenly forget. The undesirables being men like Crane, or Nygma. Or women like Mary, or Pamela.

It was no wonder that he didn’t feel particularly cheerful or safe when Officer Terrence told Crane he would be allowed time in the library — no doubt as a reward for the scientific secrets Crane had no doubt whispered into the ears of his assigned psychiatrist. Or, perhaps, simply a reward for not psychoanalyzing said psychiatrist and bringing them to tears.

Either way, being brought along in a straightjacket, and with arms and legs chained heavily, did not inspire much hope in the man. Maybe he would have enjoyed it better if they had wheeled him in — that way, with the mask and the jacket he could feel like Hannibal Lecter. But no. He was to walk.

“Oh, take that off of him!” A gentle voice hit his ears as Crane entered the library, and bloodshot eyes went to gaze upon... oh. Oh, now who was this? She was certainly a sight to see, especially for a man who had been in and out of solitary for months.

“But, Miss Kraven—” Officer Terrence began, only to be cut off. Hesitatingly, Terrence unclasped the chains from Crane’s arms and legs and finally helped him out of the straightjacket.

He almost felt... naked. Without the straightjacket to keep him... well, straightened, Crane quickly hunched over once again. He needed weight. Needed something to press down — but he wasn’t gonna get it anymore.

Bloodshot eyes narrowed as they gazed upon the librarian — and he was met with only a gentle smile in return.

This would be interesting, he supposed.

Eliza and P.I. Edward Nygma

As their relationship grows, they start going on little outings outside of the occasional case he takes her on. Like to a museum or a walk in the park. Edward usually makes snide comments on the people and Eliza asks Edward about Gotham (seeing as she’s not from there). Eliza is sure he would never admit it, but she thinks Edward enjoys her company. And while he can be a pain, she enjoys his too.
