Ever After High is a way better story(than decedents) but thinking about the logistics of the bloodlines and destinies being passed down is a nightmare. Like there has to be extra fill in Heriones/Heroes otherwise you just would run out of people. Like does the Beast become Belle's father? Who becomes the next beast then? It can't be their second kid.... because gross. The story is messed up but not that messed up.

so, a few years ago, i gave my younger cousin my old monster and ever after high dolls because, ya know, depression and ADHD told, 'time to dump that shit'.

and now

her and my aunt both say that they can't find them/don't think that she has them

DESPITE me literally seeing and putting away those dolls last time i went over there

(but i also put them in the bottom of her barbie doll container, so yeah, that might play into this a bit)

and i

i feel very sad right now and anxious cus it's like

i don't even want those dolls back very much except for just wanting to have them to have them cus i like got rid of like almost all of my childhood toys (ADHD and depression) and it would just be nice to have some of them back, ya know?

(and those generations of dolls aren't even made anymore, so they're also like NICE)

and this whole thing is just making me very anxious rn cus what if they're lost? or just like gone somewhere? and i'll never get to see them again? and i can't exactly ask to go over to my aunt's house to check for them cus that would be nagging and maybe not taken very well and

AUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

i'm just very anxious and sad rn. and like, i KNOW that the dolls are almost defintely there and almost defintely just buried in the mess that is my cousins room and are almost defintely perfectly okay (which is a big comfort to me). but yeah, brain is just not happy about this and i needed to vent just a little bit, so yeah.

Nina Thumbell Headcanons!

She probably has secret hideouts throughout the land in trees or with flower petals, rocks, leaves, etc.

When she wants to be noticed by her friends she uses a megaphone to catch their attention.

If she ever happens to be shy or unsure she’ll hide behind whatever she thinks is safe enough, like a daisy petal as a little umbrella, creating a makeshift shield.

Thumb-sized Nina is an excellent storyteller and entertains her friends with epic tales of daring adventures, all while sitting cozily on the palm of their hands.

Normal-sized Nina is a fierce defender of her friends and has a knack for diffusing tense situations.

When she needs to apologize she’ll bake adorable pastries but the decoration would be a messy ‘I’m sorry’

She can probably give the best hugs when normal sized, they’re so enveloping, welcoming, and warm. Makes you feel safe and cherished.

Auzī didn’t want to stop running... It also didn’t want to move at all... Most of all, it didn’t want to learn, not now, not from old stories where everyone is happy in the end... Written by people who either had no idea how life really works, or who stuck their heads in the sand because they didn’t want to acknowledge the truth...

Auzī’s feet splash through mud, still moving on into nowhere... But as it’s mother’s voice surrounds it, Auzī begins to think, it's paws slowing on the path...

“A memory is a kind of illusion... As is a dream... And most especially, your imagination... When we make our illusions, all we’re doing is dreaming for the world to see... This place is your illusion, my child, what do you think you’re really running from? Why do you run from it?”

Auzī knows the answer, knows that running will never work, knows that it has to be smart... But it doesn’t know what to do... The Wolf chasing it is Fear Itself... And Auzī doesn’t want to face that yet... However, even so, it is forced to come to a sudden realization... It’s paws go still, resigned...

“What have you learned?”

“That these trees look a lot like teeth, viewed from inside the maw of the Big Bad Wolf... That no fear is chasing me, I’m already caught... The one thing I feared above all else is losing you...”

“Half correct... You are not caught... Like a true Trickster, you thought through the problem and understood it, but the solution is never that it’s too late... Not for you, at least... You can still act, still change the world, still live... The thing you feared didn’t swallow you, it has long since passed you by... I’ve been gone for some time now...

But now, you must live...
