Because of REASONS, I remembered my Scooby-Doo character designs from a few years ago. I decided to touch-up the picture a bit and fix a few things. So, here they are again! If I were to totally make my own “dream version” of Scooby-Doo, this isn’t exactly the “style” I’d prefer them in (something a little closer to the classic), this is just a cute and simple style I use when I want to get an idea for basic body-types, hair, and outfits. As for the story, I’d toss together all my favorite things from every previous version, but the basic plot would go like this; the kids all originally met when they were very little, trick-or-treating on Halloween, and solving the mystery of some mean older kids who were stealing candy. During middle school, they wound up moving away from each other for various reasons... but all reunited in high school! They had a fairly normal time, solving mundane mysteries and such. After graduation, they decide to take a road trip together, and THAT is when they truly become Mystery Inc. A mixture of the old-school plots, some new adventures, and yes- sometimes the spooky things ARE real! I’d honestly aim for it to be PG-13, it doesn’t need to be turbo-edgey and grim-dark, but they can say swears. There would one F-bomb in the whole show, and Freddy gets to say it~

I drew Velma first because I’ve always wanted to update her outfit as sort of a sleeveless sweater-dress kind of thing. I gave her red shorts instead of a skirt, and I think it somehow made her look more sporty but still cute. Some orange high-tops sort of bring it together. I wanted her hair to have something like a flapper-girl style, and I kept classic style square glasses because she works them (and still can’t see without them). Velma is easily the most adorable. She’s still the “smart one”, but she doesn’t know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING; history, science and chemistry, literature, and math are what she excels at. She also has a near photographic memory, and although she understands a lot about technology (in terms of software/programming/coding), she isn’t too great with machines. Some background for her; Velma is mixed Japanese/Mexican and Jewish. She’s also trans and a lesbian~

I knew I wanted Daphne to look really fashionable, but also in something simple and comfortable. I gave her a purple halter top/skirt with a leg-cut on one side, and loose lavender jeans. She almost never has pants in her main outfit, but I think it gives her a fun nostalgic look of the 60s and 70s. I moved her green scarf up to her hair, and gave her matching green earrings. I like the idea that because she’s a little clumsy (Danger-Prone-Daphne) she’s taken lots of athletic lessons to try and make up for it; she’s done ballet, gymnastics, Karate, boxing, archery, played different sports like soccer/basketball/baseball/tennis, swimming lessons, and equestrian classes. Basically, when she’s in “alert-mode”, she could probably handle just about anything… but when she’s not paying attention she tends to trip (though, she’s kinda of backwards-lucky by stumbling into clues this way). Daphne can speak several languages fluently, she’s got perfect pitch, is super sensitive to textures so she can recognize any material, and has a gift for being very charming and intuitive. Some background for her; her dad is Iranian, and her mom is Scottish. She’s also bi~

I always wanted to give Fred a blue jacket. I just think it suits him. He’s also got light-blue jeans, and a white long-sleeve shirt (with a red collar to replace the ascot haha). He’s got a little bit of a farm-boy vibe (hence the belt and work boots). He’s all about cars and other machines, a real Mr. Fix-It, and he loves taking stuff apart to see how it works. As a result he’s pretty good at his other hobby besides mechanics… TRAPS. Fred also practices being an escape artist, so if he ever gets caught he’ll be able to get out of almost anything. Although he’s certainly not “stupid”, he has a tendency to be a bit oblivious and a little too headstrong. He’s got a heart if gold though, and everybody who knows him would agree that he’s endlessly kind. Some background for him; Fred’s parents went missing around when he younger, and so he’s had a few different foster families. He doesn’t get reunited with his folks until much later (learning more about his family, he finds out he’s mixed Italian/Norwegian). He’s also bi~

Shaggy doesn’t need much changing (if I altered too much, he just wouldn’t look like Shaggy anymore). I have him a white long-sleeved shirt under his classic green one, changed his brown pants into cargoes (all loose fitting, Shaggy likes it baggy), and gave him some black sneakers. He’s naturally still got long hair and a scruffy chin (plus some sideburns). Even though he’s a well known scardey-cat, Shaggy has a deep love for horror movies and fictional spooky stuff doesn’t seem to bother him. His various fears and phobias have actually made him a safety expert; not only does he usually carry a back-pack with a fully stocked first aid kit, he knows how rescue somebody who is drowning, all the safety procedures for different vehicles/aircraft, CPR, and survival tactics (he actually knows more medical facts than Velma). Despite being so thin and lanky, he is almost always eating, sometimes thinking with his stomach rather than his head. He’s always happy to share though, and he even cooks great meals for his friends (mindful of allergies and what-not). Some background for him; he’s Canadian First Nations and Jewish on his mother’s side. He’s also trans, bi and ace~

Scooby was maybe the most difficult to draw… he’s so iconic, and I wasn’t sure how to draw him in this style but still make him look like Scooby. I’m not sure if I succeeded, but I think the result isn’t too bad. Shaggy found Scoob as a pup, and they have been best friends ever since. Like Shaggy, Scooby loves to eat and hates to be afraid, but he’s only a coward when something threatens him; if a monster or villain is going to hurt one of his friends, Scooby always comes to their defense. People forget that he’s actually a very big strong dog because he’s usually so gentle and silly. Scoob knows all sorts of trick from the typical “sit/roll-over/shake” to more impressive stunts. Although he loves attention and praise, the best way to get him to do anything is to bribe him with a Scooby Snack! He’s a very smart animal, and the fact that he can communicate when he smells or hears something suspicious that people might miss is a real asset for solving mysteries. Like any good dog, Scooby is loyal and lovable~

So I've been thinking about Forces and Frontiers and their new "General Knuckles" characterization. Under the cut cause it got longer than I thought it would lol.

First off I'm not a fan of it and it really doesn't make sense for his character to me. He's someone who grew up in isolation, is easily trusting while also being a hot head that hits first asks questions later, none of that screams General of a resistance.

My working theory as to why they did this was they wanted a quick way to get away from himbo Knuckles that Boom had introduced. Cause his character was always presented as smart before with his knowledge of history and archeology just that he lacks the common sense that comes with being around other people and he was ignorant in that way.

In my opinion he should have been presented as the front lines man who's the first and last on the battle field. That way he was still very much in the inner circle of the resistance in Forces but his character isn't just sitting back in war meetings planning but in the middle of every fight. Since previous characterizations of him have never been a "think things through first" kinda guy it just doesn't make sense to me to suddenly make him the "plans guy".

My next thought was to give the General title to Amy. Cause it does kinda make sense. She's usually the character that hangs back since she's not one of the main 3 with that characterization being a left over from her early days of "damseled girl character." But she's also way more charismatic than Knuckles, has been shown to make plans, be detail oriented, and care deeply about other people.

But at the same time she's also characterized as a bit of a hot head and doesn't like to sit back while her friends are potentially in danger. With more recent versions have her liking to be beside them in a fight and is also shown to be one of the more heavy hitters with her hammer now-a-days. Plus her having to send people into a fight and them potentially being hurt (or killed) on her orders, while a good set up for angst and some character development, just didn't sit right with me.

Then it hit me.

There is a character that walks into a room and with few to no words commands respect and other's, even villains, to listen to them at the drop of a hat....it's Vanilla. Sega missed out on bringing her in from the sidelines and doing interesting things with her character in Forces in my opinion. She's been shown multiple times to be able to waltz into a room and immediately take complete control. She's is quickly able to command people and direct them to the best and most efficient course of action in a few of her scenes in the IDW comics.

Heck a lot of main characters have been shown to be a scared of her being angry, one of them being Rouge who's a spy and has literally been a double agent.

Imagine it though in Forces maybe we don't know she's in charge to begin with and it's kept a mystery for most of the game of who's the one leading the charge against Eggman. The main cast just keeps referring to the General in their conversations about their plans but not saying their name. Then after they do the big Sonic rescue and it's time for a big war meeting, boom ! in comes Vanilla who ain't messing around. I can imagine a line from Sonic of "Vanilla!!!?? You're the general!!!" in the scene where she's walks in.

This also leaves room for a few jokes of her flipping from serious leader to "mom of a 6 year old" attitude. Like big serious meeting and she's talking and directing what people will do in a big assault on an Eggman base and then suddenly she just like "oh! and I also brought cookies and juice boxes for all of you while we talk" and then immediately switching back to talking about planting a bomb or something.

And like even with Tails going off on his own and disappearing from them could have been an interesting topic of conflict with all of them. Like Vanilla having to give the order to Amy and Knuckles to not go looking for him cause they don't have the man power all the while Cream could be upset with her for not letting them look for her friend. Or something along these lines.

Idk I just really feel like Sega is sleeping on Vanilla and could do so much more with her. Just with her being a mom and the only consistent cannon friendly adult in the sea of over powered kids with her own kid jumping into the fray cause she's also an overpowered child just has a lot of potential there to me.

Agreed honestly . . . . .

I mean, can't really blame Brandon, Viv, Adam, or anyone in charge of this show. It's not like they're responsible for what children watch on the Internet. That's the parents job. Especially when the disclaimer is put up at the start of every episode (almost every episode not counting ep 8). I'm sure this child is old enough to know how to read and what NOT to be lookin' at.

We all had our moments where we were exposed to at least something in our childhood, regardless if we knew what it meant or not. Curse words, sexual content of any kind, nudity, dirty jokes, blood and gore, etc. I was certainly exposed to at least some of this. Now my parents didn't care what we heard. The F bomb could have dropped and they wouldn't bat an eye. (Especially when my Dad pretty much cussed in front of us constantly). Whether it be from a movie, a TV show, music, they didn't care. We would even find cussing to be hilarious as children. REPEATING these words however, is a whole different story. Now way in hell were we allowed to cuss, especially in front of them. That was a definite no-no in the household and disobedience isn't tolerated.

Sexual content is a bit of the same, kinda. Of course, we were not allowed to see it. My mom would always change the channel until a scene was over or press the skip button.

The whole point of this is that there's a limit. You're gonna hear curse words regardless of what age you are. The parents won't cuss around their children, but what's to stop them from hearing it from the outside world. There's no stopping it, just make sure your child doesn't repeat it. But anything sexual or blood and gore CANNOT be within the child's sight. And Helluva along with Hazbin, shows PLENTY of that. Tongue kissing, gore, and all that vulgar bs. So yeah, it is rather concerning that a child at her age (however old she may be. I'm assuming 10 or something) would see something as vulgar as Helluva Boss. And I would advise all the parents and adults out there to NOT encourage it. We've all had our moments of being exposed to certain things on the Internet or TV, but that doesn't mean it's okay and children should NOT get themselves involved in it. You would only be showing them it's okay.

And I dunno how this girl came across watching Helluva Boss or showed up at this convention to meet Brandon who she knows voiced Blitzo. But it's awfully concerning her parents would let her witness this show. She probably even looked at some of Brandon's videos which are MUCH MORE VULGAR than the show itself😅😂. Should we not be worried here??

Aw fuuuuuuu… I mean, depends on the fic I’m writing? Let’s run with Sky, since it’s him for sure at the moment.

This’ll be a bit long.

I love how Sky had time to question who he was and actually find some answers. No one told him he had to be anything before Fi and Impa gave him a destiny. He just wanted to be his best self. Loves life. Deals with school issues. He’s got hobbies and interests like woodcarving and some mystery sport (soccer? Fencing? Bomb throwing? Loftwing quidditch? Who knows?!)

I love that he starts with a big surrogate family at the academy. They praise him because he’s genuinely a nice kid, trustworthy, hard working, strong and helpful. But they don’t dawn or anything. He’s chill. When he helps others, he also inspires those around him to be their best, like Fletch.

(TBH they kinda rely too much on him… or use him… *cough*Hylia*cough*)

He helps people all over the islands, even Pippit’s “lazy” mom and a creepy toilet ghost (moaning Myrtle, is that you?) All the Links help others, but he knows these people intimately, and the familiarity did not breed contempt.

He’s probably the most “modern” out of the Links. He has a comfortable life. And he left all that comfort behind to go explore the Surface, but not for curiosity. For his bestie! (He has the option of declaring his love for Peatrice too, so he’s got agency to keep it purely platonic, if perhaps secret for a while)

I love how loyal he is to Zelda as his best friend rather than as romantic partner or ruler, going up against the most insane and ridiculous odds. Like, I love my friends and family, but I’m not sure I’d deal well with having to face fire keese, bokos, F-ing Ghirahim (Noooope! I’m out!), let alone having to cut the goopy toes off a giant world-eating slithering black jelly bean just to save them. But he’s like “Yes, obviously I’ll do it! We all help each other.” (Communism poster boy. I will not elaborate)

He’s like the biblical Adam plus Samwise Gamgee. Like, “Oh you fell/need to go on alone? I’m coming with you!” And jumps. And then he finds out he actually can come back up, iirc. Instead of some flawed, fallen Eve character, he finds out his bestie is GOD. And she is just as self-sacrificing as him. (I love their story so much)

Back to Link. He’s got raw talent. (I know a guy in real life like him. He picks up skills quickly, so he’s bored in classes and falls asleep a lot. And he has a simmering rage deep down, that comes out to defend what’s his. As much as the game tries to frame this as a weakness, when they also give him prophetic dreams and a desire for not drawing attention to himself (bullies!) and a sweet but slightly jealous bestie, he’s got plenty of reasons to be sleepy. Nightmares, narcolepsy, staying up late to practice in private, limited downtime for hobbies… let the boy sleep in!

I love how expressive he is! Of all the Links, he’s the most emotive over things that are not food or treasure/items. I like to think he’s more emotionally mature and empathetic, and Jojo’s comic supports this. His first in-story action is to rush to help Time, who was speared, instead of attacking the monster. Later, he’s supportive of Wind’s enthusiasm when others tease him about the childishness of masks, and is the sweetest about teasing Legend for being a bunny. The man’s heart is gold, sturdy but soft too.

And his music! The boy rocks the harp. Musical prodigy too? Who has insanely good footwork and can balance on a tightrope and probably dances better than anybody in Skyloft if he wanted to?!? (No wonder Zelda is jealous.)

Oh, and Pippit calls his bird a red terror, so he’s probably gotten into some shenanigans with it growing up. The divine bird is a delightfully bad influence, and I love it.

I’m sure I could go on, but that’ll do for now. He’s a shield first and a sword second.

A random headcanon: Aerith loved cooking with Elmyra when she was little. And yet she pretends to NOT know how to strictly for the divine purpose of making the craziest, nastiest concoctions ever when it's her turn to cook for the group. She smiles innocently while everyone grimaces. Cloud gets an extra helping of ghost pepper every single time.

General Opinion over said character: A+ character with an A+ Story arc. I'm also REALLY glad that Remake remembered to bring back her chaotic gremlin energy from OG. Aerith's mischievousness is one of her most endearing qualities to me and I was over her being Pure Flower Girl for so long lmao. That's only HALF of who she is. The other half is a huge troll. I hope she gets to drop an F-bomb in the next game I really do.

OKAY SO I OFFICIALLY FINISHED CH SEASON 3

Spoilers obviously

Okay good, Marry WAS written to be the way I thought she was(kinda but I was right).

I’m sad that Cloney Island was only one episode. Would’ve been nice to have a 2 part season finale, especially with the abrupt way Cleo and Frida were pushed back together— realistic for teenagers, especially a dramatized version of teenagers, but still would’ve been nice to see them fight a bit more, give sad longing glances over their shoulders after turning away, and then build that up to the climax of the episode where they make up in true sappy teen drama fashion that would be very in character for them both in the first place.

Aaaaaaaand Abe and Joan triangle once again but this time with Confucius! Wow! I am still not rooting for JoanAbe lmao, I think Joan and Confucius have way more chemistry than even Joanfk did. They seemed to have a lot of fun together.

Harriet and JFK… I still can’t see them working. I’m sorry. My new impression of Harriet is she’s one of those jealous types. A home wrecker and a cheater even. She just assumed she and Confucius were back together without asking, telling me that she’s definitely a bit of a control freak or definitely very impulsive(ocd possibly? Someone with more knowledge do an analysis, my basic level knowledge isn’t enough or factually sound). I honestly used to adore Harriet’s character, her annoying personality was passable enough to grow on me. But now it’s just insufferable. I mean I still love her character, but not really in the I adore her way, just that I wanna continue to see her fuck things up and see how much drama she can cause. And how her and JFK’s relationship will be ruined because I genuinely want it to be ruined because there’s really no substance behind it, just raging teenage hormones and the threat of imminent death.

I do genuinely feel bad for Scudworth but I for the love fuck cannot remember his ex-lover’s name. But I do hope Scud gets to see her again and they can actually be together in peace. They seemed nice together! I thought it was really cute, Scud was actually getting a win this time.

Uh Topher— or should we call him Christopher now?— being proud of his Clone lineage because some guests liked him was actually amazing in that I want a list of those people to avoid them which could be easy because they most likely were some of the January 6th capital rioters, that’s the only conclusion I can come up with that summarizes my entire assumption about those, uh, “fans”. But I guess it’s good he’s accepting who he’s been cloned from? Question mark? I’m scared of the micro aggressions to come. Someone contact his therapist that may or may not be Scudworth in a wig in the first place, I’m a little scared.

If season 4 is greenlit, if not already that is, I hope Gandhi gets to come back. There were several good call backs to him, especially how Scudworth inexplicably had several of his belongings in his possession? Sir what the fuck.

AND MY GOD THE F-BOMBS WHERE SO OVER DONE BUT ABSOLUTELY NOT IN A BAD WAY. They were perfectly balanced in my opinion and combined with the delivery of each Fuck combined with each Shit and every other curse mentioned, it was perfect. Compare it to either H/zben H/tel + h/lluva b/ss or Rick and Morty and you’ve actually got a script that although littered with curses, doesn’t rely on those curses to make the show funny. The fact each profanity wasn’t always expected coupled with the delivery is what made it good AND natural, not forced. Scudworth’s FUCK in season 2 walked so everyone’s FUCK AND SHIT in season 3 could run like fr.

I’m sad Cleo’s back with her terrible foster mom. I don’t like Frida’s foster dad. Having a sweater with your daughter’s face on it is….. strange. Confucius’ are kind of as I expected, but tbh I still say they’re fostering him for the publicity and check. Skunky Poo’s return was disturbing which seemed to be on purpose. I think I saw Van Gogh with two dads in the background and I’m only saying this because tbh I think he deserves two moms instead lmao, give this boy his two moms.

Abe this season felt like an in between of season 1 and 2 but mostly still s2. But I did love his interactions with JFK and Confucius. Especially JFK. And how fucking casual JFK essentially came out as bisexual lmao. All in all, these two were fucking hilarious this season. But yeah uh Abe is a toxic asshole by the way but we all knew that and honestly that’s why I love him and if Joanabe really IS endgame, I can cope with the fact that these two are highly likely to marry after graduation and divorce several years later, they’re terrible for each other.

I think this season was a lot better, which makes sense with what seemed like was a bigger budget. The animation actually looked a little different, not bad different but good different, much smoother??? I may have to go back and rewatch season 2, but right off the bat s3 animation really felt different, it felt more alive in a way and I really loved it. I hope we get a season 4 fr. And I hope it’s the final season, I cannot see it getting a s5 UNLESS it’s a parody/joke to how most shows these days keep stacking on the seasons without any heartfelt material in it (*cough* supernatural and the simpsons and bobs burger *cough* *cough*)

The Cosmas Revamp Chapter 8

“I want her out! I want her out of this damn house right now!”, Daisy’s voice echoed through Nora’s ears and mind that faithful evening. Nora glared over at Linnie, who was sheepishly trying to look his parents and sister in the eye as they had tried to process what he had just said.

He just couldn’t keep his damn mouth shut, could he? After about a week or two of constant barfing, headaches, and sporting around a small bump in his belly, Linnie had finally come to his parents about what had happened, sparing no details. The bar, the fact they didn’t ACTUALLY go to prom, and the fact that all of this was because of Nora guilting him. Food nearly spilled out of Cassia’s dinner plate while Gonzo just looked at everyone around, having a hard time grasping what Linnie had just told him.

“So…let me get this straight..”, Gonzo said, turning towards Nora, “We trusted you with our son for possibly one of the biggest nights of his life and instead of taking him where we asked you to, you decided to drag him to a bar and get into his pants.”

“I…uh…well I mean, we only stopped for a little while. I was going to take him to the party afterwards but things just got out of hand..”, Nora tried to explain quietly, feeling the inner rage coming from Linnie’s mother, alongside death glares from Daisy. Cassia, instead of saying something right away, shakily placed her fork down and rubbed her temples, her breath getting heavier and heavier.

“You three….you three….you three have no idea how much fucking trouble you’re in!”, she shouted, making Linnie and Daisy jump. Their parents hardly ever cursed, so hearing there mother shout the F-bomb, especially TOWARDS them, Daisy and Linnie gulped nervously.

“Wait? What did I do?”, Daisy retorted, “I had no part in this-“

“YOU young lady, were supposed to bring your brother with you in the first place so that none of this would happen to him! That was the deal we made, remember? I’d let you go to prom DESPITE it being downtown if the two of you stayed together and that you protected Linnie!”

“Ok, but Linnie is perfectly capable of taking care of himself! Just because he’s a boy doesn’t mean-“

“I’m not worried that your brother is a boy! I’m worried because you know he’s magically disabled! What if something were to happen and he couldn’t defend himself! Pepperspray and tasers can only do so much!”

“W-well I’m sorry mom. I just got so caught up in the excitement, I kinda forgot he was supposed to tag along.”

“That’s not a good excuse, Daisy, and you know it! We’re lucky your brother is even alive after the stunt you two pulled!”, Cassia yelled, now glaring daggers into Nora and Linnie’s souls, “and what the hell were you two thinking? Going to a bar UNDERAGED and having unprotected sex in said bar!? Never mind the fact you’re pregnant now! Quite frankly, I’m surprised more women didn’t try to take advantage of you!”

“Mama, I-I’m sorry! I’m really sorry! I-It’s just…I….”

“Come on young man! Spit it out!”

“It’s just…I felt so awful ruining Nora’s night and I just wanted her to have fun..”

“Fun by endangering yourself AND breaking the law?”, Cassia shouted, banging her fists on the glass table, “Have you lost your mind? Haven’t your father and I always taught you not to go along with things that aren’t right, no matter what anyone else tells you?”

“Y-Yes but…I just…”, Linnie tried to explain but felt quiet, losing eye contact with his mother who just sighed, her tone calming a bit.

“Linnie, there’s not an excuse in the world that’s going to make this ok. I’m extremely disappointed in you.”, Cassia said, earning a soft whimper from Linnie. His mother had always been his hero growing up, so hearing those words coming out of her mouth, she might as well have just taken her wand and shot his heart.

“So now what?”, Gonzo asked, forcing himself to refrain from yelling, “What are Linnie’s options?”

“Well, why won’t we ask him? After all, he seems to think he can make decisions on a whim instead of doing what he’s told.”, Cassia asked bitterly, looking Linnie straight in the eye, “Are you keeping it?”

“I…y-yes of course. Despite everything that’s happened, I do love this child. I-I’ve always wanted children. Just didn’t think it would be this soon.”

“In that case then, you’re going to need to be looking for a job as soon as possible, the BOTH of you.”, Cassia said, glaring at Nora, “Your father and I will help you take care of him or her as much as we can, because we love you and we know how big of a dream having children was to you. That being said, you are to find work and start saving up for baby supplies and a place to live.”

“W-Wait…are you kicking me out?”

“We don’t have enough room for another baby to live here permanently. We barely had room for Nora, which speaking of.”, Cassia said, turning towards Nora, “You better be finding another place to stay soon as well, because as soon as you’re 18,000 and out of high school, you’re done.”

“So I’m just going to be stuck on the side of the road? You know my mother won’t take me back in!”, Nora yelled.

“Well, you should have thought of that before you took advantage of my son.”, Cassia said, crossing her arms, “Otherwise I will be pressing charges?”

“You can’t press charges?! Only Linnie can do that!”

“Ah, but he’s not 18,000 yet either, which means that his father and I are still legally responsible, and if we want to press charges, we will do so. Hell, you’re lucky you’re not sitting in front of a judge as we speak!”

“A-aren’t we being kind of harsh?”, Linnie stuttered, trying to argue, “I-I don’t think Nora intended on any of this to happen. It’s just that one thing happened after another..and well…”

“Linnie, you can’t seriously be defending her right now? After all she did to you?”, Daisy snapped, “Why I have half a mind to split her into two right now!”

“Daisy, that’s enough! Just go to your room..you’re grounded for the rest of the summer, as are you Linnie.”, Gonzo said calmly, earning a loud groan from Daisy and a slamming door coming from upstairs.

“I…I just…I don’t know what to say…”, Linnie said, tears falling from his eyes, “I’m really sorry…I didn’t mean for all of this to happen.”

“Son, I know you didn’t. I know it’s not entirely your fault.”, Gonzo said, glaring at Nora, “But this is exactly why your mother and I worry. We can’t babysit you all the time, no matter how much your mother wants to. You need to start taking better care of yourself. What’ll happen when mom and I aren’t there for you one day when we pass? What’ll happen then?”

“I…uh….”

“Gozno just…I had enough. I’m done with this conversation.”, Cassia said, her voice drained and all the pride she had for her son, rapidly fading. She looked at Nora with the coldest expression she was ever seen. Hell, it could even beat her own mother’s drunken glances, “Out by 18,000. Understood?”

“Uh…yes ma’am.”

“Good. Goodnight Gonzo. Linnie.”

“Goodnight Mama. I love you.”

“Eh…”

As if things couldn’t get worse, Nora and Linnie had found out both of them had just barely been able to graduate, both of them failing their AP Literature final, dropping their grades to C minuses, alongside both of them failing their AP Exam. While Linnie didn’t worry too much about it, Nora cursed to herself as she crumbled the paper and threw it in the school trashing, alongside several college rejection letters.

Walking past the halls on the last few days before graduation, Nora shivered every time Linnie passed her coldly, rolling her eyes every time she caught him rubbing his stomach, as if he were going to pop at any moment. Despite thing, she desperately tried to catch up to him and discuss the new few months, only receiving a cold shoulder and the occasional “I’ll talk to you later”.

It’s not fair! It wasn’t like she intentionally ruined his life, and it wasn’t like she was the only one responsible. Linnie agreed to it…didn’t he? I mean..he did say yes after some convincing.

How in all of Fairy World was she going to take care of a baby anyways? She couldn’t even find a place to live, let alone find the money to feed the little brat. As she passed through the halls feeling sorry for herself, she turned towards the front of the cafeteria where the bulletin board could be found in it’s usual spots, full of documents for scholarships, graduation dates, cap and gown information, and all sort of other junk. Nora’s cyan eyes widened however, as one particular poster seemed to catch her eye.

i tried out engage here's my thoughts. (really mild spoilers)

• honestly alear is like... corrin on steroids. its insane how much they get praised for pretty much being just...mid. i played fates cq and still found this ridiculously distracting because there are parts where the characters say something like "oh, divine dragon, you're (kind/wonderful)" every two or three lines. please sir this is a wendy's

• the worst part by far in this game are the visuals. the character design is kind of all over the place. they look jarringly modern, you can't guess ages, sometimes you can't guess their class. i feel terrible for mika pikazo because they didn't work closely with her, gave her little to no direction and now she's left to get the backlash. that's no way to treat an artist.

• her art is just unfortunately not translated well to 3d, which is a shame because her celebratory art that she posted on twit was very pretty even if its personally not to my taste for a fe game. the models themselves are technically superior to houses, theres very little pixelation. but all the shots and cgs are just....... so badly compositioned. very much 3h vibes with the "characters spinning in a microwave". at some point they split the screen in half to show two characters in different places and it looks so awkward dkjkgfjkk

• the environments are MUCH better, and you now get to explore them after each battle to talk to the characters in them which is something i criticized of houses a lot so that's cool to see. unfortunately they're kinda stiff in cutscenes for some reason? like i said in-game cutscenes look pretty atrocious i just wish we'd go back to 2d illustrated portraits, especially when you have an artist who shines in that medium.

• sexualization is... pretty bad. def not fates level but it's there. your mom is introduced in a direct shot of her chest and she dies in an angle where you can see her boobs. i am not joking. there's an aversa expy so evil sexy woc is unfortunately a trope they still haven't let go of, and there's f!alear's whole chest situation too even though she's a minor..... mess.

• the dialogue is terribleeee. i think the vas did a GREAT job for what they were given but this is unfortunately an anakin skywalker situation where they're going to blame them for how bland and stilted the script is. it's just disjointed at times and so the deliveries can feel weird but how the fuck are you going to deliver "oh divine dragon, you're so shiny when you sweat!" (ACTUAL LINE BTW) they were set up!!!

• story-wise they don't really do much with the emblems. the lords are kind of just there. this mechanic is tbh a little disturbing to me because these spirits are just trapped in these rings and are... very happy about it. they go on and on about how they're gonna save this world and how they're gonna support their respective characters but there's zero mention of their own emotional situation. no missing their friends or reflecting about their lives or wondering what's next or anything, they're just kind of vassals to their characters. the one exception was sigurd who just kinda drops the bomb that he died as a young father and everyone is like "haha anyway moving on...." DUDE. very weirdly implemented imo but i guess they couldn't character assassinate this way so. double edged sword i suppose

• the gameplay kinda reminds me of awakening the first few chapters because the maps are ridiculously simple and a lot of focus is placed on the engage gimmick but it thankfully got better once you reach the somniel. then there's actual maps. which seem pretty fine to me tbh? unfortunately this game is just easy. you get really really good units early on and the emblems are BUSTED. i breezed through like 5 chapters in hard classic and when i saw my friend play they turtled relatively unopposed so its like. i'm not feeling the gameplay. it's just ok. maybe if i do actually decide to play this game one day i could do maddening but i honestly dont want to keep going lmfao

overall its like. exactly what i expected from the previews and i'm really glad i didn't even consider getting it lmfao. like always it just makes me kinda sad to see the potential in these games and all the inklings of ideas that were just kinda forgotten in favor of pandering to the player because that sells.

Lol, livestream I was watching heard false rumor of HS presence tonight (or maybe comments just joking during 1989 set). The mom & kid were excited, the mom sounded like a serious HS fan, but then they realized it was not true. Fan overlap.

I noticed the young kid (maybe a boy- not sure) after singing (distinctly- the words):

The kid asks, "Mom, are you crying?" Mom replies, "I'm just having the best time with you." Moments later... "The comments are saying you deserve candy."

A few sets later - Kid was saying, "I need candy- I'm getting sleepy."

Sadly the kid missed the "dive"- although mom tried to prep kid. The kid was disappointed and kept saying it was the moment they had been waiting for all night.

Lol, concert high & candy crush will make sure sleep will be welcomed tonight. It was kinda funny hearing the kids sing the swear words.

Prompt: “You two are not getting out of there until you’ve sorted this whole thing out!”

She should have known it was a setup. After three years of an on again, off again relationship with a certain Strike team leader (or jack-booted thug, as she thought of him in the off times), Darcy was bound to come into proximity with Brock Rumlow eventually. Of course, when she happened to be in the same general vicinity, there happened to be a tornado siren go off and somehow they ended up sharing a panic room.

Peeved, Darcy sat as far away from him and closed her eyes tightly, hoping she’d give off enough of a “Leave me the heck alone vibe” that he wouldn’t try to talk to her.

No such luck.

“I take it you’re still mad at me?” Brock sighed.

She didn’t answer.

She was so tired of his inability to make up his mind about their future and his only dating her when it was convenient. Darcy was also mad at herself for still wanting him, despite his serious commitment issues.

She heard Brock sigh again.

“Okay. I deserve that.”

They lapsed back into heavy silence again and Darcy thought she heard the all clear signal go out, but when she tried to enter the code to open the door, nothing happened.

After several attempts, she plopped down to sulk again, muttering curses.

Brock’s attempts were no more successful and she smiled as she heard him chewing someone out over his comm. She wasn’t gonna lie, she kinda loved Bossy Brock.

“You two are not getting out of there until you’ve sorted this whole thing out!” came a voice that made them both jump.

“Oh, come on, Nat. Really?” Darcy yelled back. “You know what an asshole he is.”

“Of course. But you two still need to talk. Neither of you are very good at communicating.” Nat responded firmly, making Darcy scowl, even as she admitted to herself that that was kinda accurate.

“But what if I have to pee?” she tried.

“All the more reason to start talking.” Was the unsympathetic answer. “You’ll thank me later.”

Darcy rolled her eyes as silence fell again, but she finally let herself look at Brock. He wasn’t smirking or flexing at her as was the norm with him. Instead, he just looked tired and there was a sadness in his eyes that made her soften a bit.

“I’m still annoyed with you, but something is clearly wrong. Spill it, Brock-o.” She commanded.

“Nothing’s wrong.” He shrugged. Darcy wasn’t fooled for a second.

“Lying won’t get us out of here any faster, dude. I know you better than that,” she told him bluntly.

“Yeah, you do,” he admitted, a brief smile flickering across his face before he sighed again, fidgeting with his badge a bit. (A nervous habit, she recognized.)

“I’ve ruined everything I touch,” Brock sighed. “Us, my team. My sister is mad at me. My Mom actually gave me her Disappointed Face, which you know means She’s pissed at me.”

Darcy winced. She’d seen The Disappointed Face in action and she’d been very glad it hadn’t been aimed at her.

“Oh, yikes. What happened?” she couldn’t help but ask.

“Exactly what you predicted,” Brock admitted. “I kept running from my issues with my job, which ironically caused a lot of those issues to begin with. Jack called me out, I blew up at him and he requested a transfer. Now, the rest of the team walks on eggshells and our performance suffers. Also, I really fu..reaking miss you.”

Darcy bit back a smile at his attempts to cover his language. That was highly uncharacteristic of the Brock Rumlow she’d dated. He’d dropped f-bombs like confetti.

“No need to censor yourself on my account. You know I’m a champion potty mouth,” she reminded him.

“That I do,” Brock said, a faint twinkle in his eye. “I promised mama I would cut back on the swearing now that there are small children in the family.”

“That’s very considerate of you,” Darcy agreed, trying not to melt at the thought of Brock as an uncle.

“What do you think Romanoff meant by “sorting it out?”” Brock asked cautiously after another beat of silence.

“That’s what I’m wondering. If she expects us to talk all our issues out, we’ll be here all day,” Darcy. She gave Brock a pointed look. She was trying hard not to think about how being in close quarters with him was driving her crazy.

“Yeah. I’ll get straight to the point: Darcy, I was an asshole to you and I’m sorry. I’ve regretted it every day since.”

“You’re not just saying it so Nat will let you out?” she asked a trifle skeptically. He sounded sincere, but Darcy was wary.

“I’ve wanted to say this for a long time. Had no way to contact you. Oh, congrats on the PhD, by the way. Find any wormholes yet?”

“Thanks, and no, but we’re investigating a very interesting anomaly that required bringing in the big guns to keep things locked down.”

“So I hear.”

Brock looked at her with a mix of fondness and the “here we go again” look that he always wore when she was in a science whirlwind.

“Please no bilgesnipes this time?” He requested.

“I can make no promises,” she answered coyly. “Kinda like you with relationships.”

“Oof.” Brock shut his eyes and shook his head. “You still don’t pull your punches, do you, Lewis?”

“Nope. You used to praise me for it, as I recall.” She reminded him cheekily, making Brock grin proudly.

“You have quite the right hook, which quite a few idiots found out the hard way. Me being one of them.”

She’d socked him good during a sparring lesson and had never let him live it down, though her hand had hurt for quite a while afterwards.

“We’ve established that, though you seem to be a remorseful idiot, at least,” Darcy said, quirking her head at him in acknowledgment.

“Hey, Nat. What are you requirements for getting us out of here? I really do have to pee!” She called to the ceiling. Brock snorted.

“I’d prefer you kiss and make up, but a nice hug will suffice,” came Natasha’s voice.

“Oh, trust me. You do not want our make-up kiss on camera. Definitely NOT PG-13.”

She winked at Brock, who grinned wickedly, obviously fond of remembering the last make up kiss, which had quickly turned into much more. One thing about them, they had pretty amazing chemistry, which Darcy had missed in her brief attempts to date other guys.

Brock stood up and reached a hand up to her to help her up. Darcy took it, shaking out her left leg which had fallen asleep.

“So, what’s it gonna be, Lewis?” He asked.

She wrapped her arms around him and squeezed tightly, thinking about how perfect she fit against him. Brock got the message and hugged her back in a very satisfying manner.

There was a hiss and the door slid open. Natasha stood in front of them, hands on her hips.

“Congratulations on communicating like adults. Rumlow, if you screw this up again, James and I will make sure there isn’t enough left of your body to find.”

This terrifying threat made even badass Brock swallow a little, even as he nodded in acknowledgement.

“So…..find any cat memes lately?” He asked her.

Darcy gave a delighted laugh. Their whole relationship had started because she’d sent him ridiculous memes just to annoy him. If he was suggesting a do-over, well, this was a good place to start.

“I’ll blow up your phone,” she promised.

So my mom has been into K-Dramas lately and she wants to expand into J-Dramas. Since you are the only one i follow that really goes into liveblogging dramas, you were my go to for asking, which ones would you recommend?

My mom likes romance, but she says that after a while she gets bored. She’s been into mystery/suspense/thriller lately and i noticed you liveblogged a number of those, like that one cop drama with either a dead or delinquent partner. Also that medical on with Takeru Satoh and Woz.

your mom is so smart to go down this path jdramas are the best <3

some good mystery and/or crime-solving type shows:

cold case: shinjitsu no tobira - these are remakes of the US show of the same name about a team focused on often decades old unsolved crimes, but the jp version is so much better in terms of acting & atmosphere. has a very cool female lead played by yoshida yo. s1 is best of the 3 imo.

dele (2018) - about a private business whose purpose is to delete sensitive information for clients after their deaths. this is also a very atmospheric and moody one and some of the stories are more sad and thoughtful than mysterious.

dorokei (2018) - doesn't even Remotely count as suspense or a thriller, it's mostly quite silly, but i always have to shill for it anyway. goofy idiot cop gets assigned to the theft division which is staffed by a bunch of other weirdos and at the same time also happens to "befriend" a most wanted phantom thief at a bar.

MIU404 (2020) - classic buddy cop setup of differing personalities except with less focus on comedy than that genre usually has. not that it isn't funny at all but it's equally focused on character drama, they both have tragic backstories, and the cases they solve can get pretty emotional. subs are kinda bad tho sadly.

MOZU (2014) - 3 cops investigate a bombing that killed the first MC's wife and uncover a much deeper political conspiracy from there. only really recommendable for people who are drawn to the visuals of noir and neo-noir and of stylized violence. but if you are, then. have i got a show for you.

ouroboros (2015) - about two guys raised in an orphanage together one who's grown up to be a cop and one who's now a yakuza boss, but who are still in contact and are in fact allied in a shared revenge quest. very dramatic.

rinsho hanzai gakusha himura hideo no suiri (2016) - a modern sherlock holmes adaptation where the sherlock is like, maybe a little too into the concept of murders, but also has a really adorable marriage relationship with his version of watson, a mystery writer who's overconfident about his ability to understand mysteries.

shinhannin flag (2021) - normal cute dad's wife and kids go abruptly missing one day putting him at the center of this increasingly wild investigation into what happened to them. more on the "like a game of clue" side of mystery shows but it can get more intense at times.

subete ga f ni naru (2014) - smart but kind of morose professor and his more upbeat student fall into this web of crime constructed by a campy evil genius woman (and also do some more episodic investigations along the way). has romance hints.

unnatural (2018) - focuses on forensic investigation, lotta sciencing about dead bodies, which i'm not sure would be of interest? really good, though. has great female characters.

•Skye sometimes has trouble controlling her anger which can end to really hurting someone or herself

•Skye tends to bottle up her emotions and mask it with her usual happy attitude until she eventually breaks down

•Can get too cocky when competing or just showing off and can be blind to everything around her from focusing too hard on her goal

Family

Amelia Dickson/Mega Mom- She doesn't remember much of her mom during her time at the orphanage but heard from Chad and Brynlee that she can go a bit overboard when giving her kids affection and can be downright embarrassing when attending school plays,sports games, or around their friends. She found her to be pretty strict when it comes to school grades and keeping the house clean but overtime she started to step back a little when the sibs are in their mid teens.

Arthur Dickson/Destructo Dad- Her Dad is known as the fun parent who cracks a lot of Dad jokes, which Skye loves to join in on. She secretly gets along more with him than her mom and finds out they both act almost alike. Skye loves that she has a parent to talk to and be herself around (and to have a test subject for a few inventions)

Benjamin Beaumont- Its still a mystery for Skye never hearing about her uncle and only knows that he's mom's twin brother. Whenever Skye mentions him, Amelia instantly changes the subject or starts to get angry but either way it was weird. She asked her dad about it and he hesitantly mentions that Benjamin is a hermited inventor and that Ben and Amelia got into a huge fight when they were teens during their parents divorce and haven't spoke since. Nobody knows his whereabouts but assumes he still lives in France where he was born.

Chad Dickson- During when her memory of him was wiped, Skye saw Chad as an enemy and a traitor like everyone else in the KND. She would pull as many pranks on him when she got the chance, especially during the times she visited Brynlee. When getting her memories back, she instantly felt horrible and guilty for the way she treated her older brother and tried to find ways to make it up to him until he instantly forgave her. Their the type of siblings to constantly mess with each other and try to annoy the other (which Skye doesn't most of). They can count on each other whenever one of them gets into trouble and not to rat each other out to their parents. Chad is known to get overworked so Skye is the one to pry him away from studies or missions and make him take care of himself, same with Skye and staying up working on projects.

Brynlee Dickson- Even when losing her memories, the two instantly got along when reuniting in cadet training. Skye always begged Numbuh 1 to arrange both sectors to go on missions together, but unfortunately that's only for emergencies. When regaining their memories, they became even more inseparable and started taking back the time they were apart and filling it with more positive memories. Out of the two, Skye seems to be the most protective and sometimes even turning into a mother hen whenever Bryn gets injured during a mission or dealing with jerks. Like most twins, they know what the other is feeling and is in danger, also can unintentionally speak in unison.

Jet Dickson- Skye and Jet been through a lot together and sadly know more about each other than their siblings. They can also be the type of siblings to bicker and get on each other's nerves but almost instantly make up like nothing happened. They both have ptsd from the orphanage with Jet having severe paranoia so when something is triggered they know how to calm the other down. They can sometimes get into dramatic arguments over the smallest things but its mostly fake and do it just to be funny.

Friends/Allies

Numbuh 1/Nigel- Skye respects him as a leader and a sectormate. She admires his loyalty to the KND and his team, and knows to always count on him. Whenever they are the only two at the tree house or on a mission together, they usually go to the moonbase to hang out especially on meatball sub wensday. Sometimes people assume that their dating at first sight, but unfortunately Skye has feelings for Numbuh 2 and Nigel being with Lizzy (before the series ends)

Numbuh 3- Despite the two having opposite personalities, they still got along really well. Skye doesn't mind playing tea parties with her but will only fill in if someone else won't to not hurt her feelings. Unlike Numbuh 4, Skye never acts rude around her or call her interests "cruddy" or "stupid" and instead tries to like things she likes to give them a chance and vice versa.

Numbuh 4- Skye is basically his partner in crime right next to Numbuh 2. They like causing trouble together and plan pranks on adults and teenagers. They work very well together in missions despite they usually attack first before planning. She usually forgets to think before acting when around him and becomes reckless and a lot more rowdy.

Numbuh 5- Skye knows to come to her when she wants to chill out. She enjoys going on candy hunts and bringing back truck loads of candy for the team. At times they can get competitive with each other and have friendly challenges such as finding out who can eat more candy under a minute or a soda chugging challenge. They also share a similar incident involving weredogs have been bitten by one.

Numbuh 60- Skye respects him as a higher rank than she is but also wants him to lighten up a little and drags him to have fun with either her siblings or with her sector. They are opposites between strict and workaholic to fun and laid-back which is why Skye usually gets on his nerves. Patton use to be awkward on dates with Brynlee and had Skye as a secret wing-girl until he got more confident with dating.

Numbuh 362- Highly looks up to her as the soopreme leader and greatly admires her leadership. When Rachel also started dating Brynlee, Skye was shocked at first but was really happy and supportive about the news.

Numbuh 86- Skye has a record for the times Fanny screamed her ears off for damaging global airships or crashing them into the moonbase. Skye gets on her bad side without meaning to, so she's one of the very few girls Numbuh 86 yells at. However, they got a chance to bond at Fanny's slumber party and officially became friends.

Antonio Fizzuras/ Ace the kid- Skye was a bit standoffish towards him from hearing about shooting down Numbuh 2's aircraft and disliked it whenever he was flirting with Numbuh 3. They became huge rivals and Ace seems to get Skye furious enough to want to challenge him to air battles. It takes a while for Skye to eventually start to warm up to him but they still remain extremely competitive with each other.

Dustin Rosewood- She became fond of Dustin when Chad introduced him as his boyfriend and thinks him and her brother make a good match. She loves how his cheerfulness is contagious and knows it makes Chad the happiest out of them. Skye also loves to make jokes about them followed by a few mature ones to annoy the hell out of Chad while Dustin hides his face in his hoodie.

Justin Cavallero- Use to see him as an enemy for being a teen ninja and despised him after finding out he was using Chad while they were dating. When he and Chad got back together and now in a poly relationship with Dustin, it took Skye a couple of months to fully trust him.

Enemies

Madame Rouge- Skye will forever hate her for separating her family and leaving scars on her and Jet. She sees Rouge as nothing but a heartless monster for her time at the orphanage, having severe ptsd whenever going near the place despite it now being abandoned.

Natalie Keller- Skye saw her as a big nuisance during cadet training and picked a fight whenever Brynlee was being bullied by her. Was determined to score a higher rank than her to prove herself.

Jacob/Numbuh 211- Skye always gets furious whenever she sees him, wanting to wipe the smug look on his face when bullying her sister and Sector V. She feels the need to defend those who ever interact with him, feeling a bit on edge.

Love Interest(s)

Numbuh 2- Due to her huge crush on the flyboy, Skye is usually more loving towards him and will occasionally flirt by using pick up lines when no one else is around. The two share a love for jokes and aircraft, and usually go out for chilidogs. She loves his charming and kind nature and the fact that he easily makes her laugh. Although he tries to charm up other girls, She can thank Numbuh 5 for literally smacking him out of it. They love collaborating with each other when working on machines to test them out.

BIO

On the night of her and her sister's 5th birthday, Skye along with her 3 year old brother, Jet, were taken from their house and woke up in what they were told was an orphanage, which was named Forever Home, with no memories of their family or even their last names. The lady who was running the place was named Rouge Adderson but strictly wanted to be addressed as Madame Rouge and lied to the two siblings informing that their parents were reported to have died and will now be residing at Forever Home until the age of 18. When Skye asked about her last name, Jet blurted out "Rocket" while pointing to a space rocket drawing on the wall, giving them their new names: Skye and Jet Rocket.

The next eight years were like a living hell for Skye having to deal with Madame Rouge's abuse and intense study sessions. Her arms and face were marked by scratches and tiny scars for having to receive discipline after standing up for her brother or making a small mistake. She also had a fresh injury on her left side going up a bit towards her rib after making the mistake of lashing out of anger towards Madame Rouge for striking Jet and got the feeling of claw like nails scrape across her side, which was intended to cross her face but missed when Skye tried to dodge. One night, Skye overheard her roommates planning an escape and took the opportunity for her and her brother to be apart of it, swearing not to tell anyone else along with agreeing to sneak them candy until they're free.

On the night of the escape, 8 year old Skye snuck out of the room with a now 6 year old Jet and sent him with the others while she checked if Madame Rouge was asleep. Madame Rouge was asleep and all looked according to plan until she remembered the box of necklaces inside Rouge's nightstand on the day Skye snooped inside to find more information about her parents and accidentally found the box instead. Quickly, Skye grabbed the box and left to meet up with the kids while hiding it underneath her pajama shirt. The leader of the escapist was a girl named Sarah and led them down into the basement to escape through a small window which was surrounded by kids Skye never seen before and wearing cooking pots, baking sheets, sand pales and other stuff to look like armor with numbers and the letters KND painted on their "helmets" and "chestplates".

Despite meeting these strangers, Skye knew they were sent to help them escape. Before anyone could get away, the door slammed open and out flowed a number of security and women who Skye recognized a few who are her study tutors and lastly Madame Rouge, making the kids hearts stop while frozen in place while shielded by the KND operatives aiming their weapons. After Rouge furiously yelled out an order, a fight broke out and most of the operatives were took down from being outnumbered. Soon enough some of the escapists were captured as well, leaving Sarah, Skye, and Jet the only kids to fend for themselves. Sarah grabbed hold of both their hands and made a run for the open window with Rouge closing in. Jet was the first to go out and Skye followed behind only to look back and witness Sarah being captured. A KND air ship was waiting outside for them and were taken to the moonbase to be checked and treated for any injuries for their first moments of freedom.

2 years later, Skye, age 10, is now a member of Sector V with her codename, Numbuh 7, and worked alongside Numbuh 2 as a 2x4 tech officer and pilot. Jet, age 8½, wasn't assigned a Sector and is instead a floating operative as a detective and journalist and is sent to sectors when on detective duty. During the night they sleep in Skye's room at the treehouse ever since their escape and were well taken care of for staying 2 years in a treehouse. Skye also has a best friend, Brynlee Dickson/Numbuh 205, when in cadet training while still blocked by the truth of who she truly is. One summer, Numbuh 1-love was hosting a summer party at Sector J with every sector being invited. The summer party was only the beginning for them, being the most eventful summer of their lives.

It wasn't until Madame Rouge started helping the adults make a mind control device that'll take down the entire kids next door, that all sectors were ordered by Numbuh 362 to station at Forever Home for a war between kids and adults. Chad tagged along with Skye, Bryn and Jet to help them in the fight while secretly calling some TND operatives to help on the sidelines. During the last days of summer, Madame Rouge was finally defeated and her body retreated into one of the necklaces, trapping her inside. Once she was contained, the necklace began to glow and got brighter by the second until releasing a red flash causing Skye,Jet,Brynlee, and Chad's eyes to flash between blue and red until finally ending at a bright blue before going back to normal. Slowly their memories start coming back, revealing the truth about them being long lost siblings to each other. After that the family catches up on lost time, slowly turning whole again.
