[ID: A screenshot of a notes app. The note is titled "prns (pronouns) I use". The body of the note lists the following pronouns:
"He/him (main) (but not necessarily fave) (I just use it the most often)
They/them, it/its, light/lights, blood/bloods, ze/zym/zyr/zyrs/zymself
Anything else I feel like using atm" /End ID]
Figured I should start writing these down before I get too many to remember
Oh fuck I just remembered I've used purr/purrs and fae/faer and I forgot to write them down. Oops

Know what? Imma speak out about something rq
With how many people I see who use they/them and/or binary pronouns next to neopronouns, there is an equal, if not moreso amount of people not using or disrespecting that person's neos.
I would know. Whether or not people intend to -- nobody uses my neos. When I actually prefer them over my other pronouns.
'Then why'd you put your most preferred pronouns, vi/vir, and the other neos, at the end of your pronouns list? And why do you not say those are your pronouns in real life?'
I put them on the end because I used to prioritize vi/vir in the front, but it simply confused people. Plus, I don't want people to feel obligated to use my neos if they do not know how to use them. Most people looked at 'vi/they/he' and just used 'they' anyways. People usually only use they! Nobody uses my other pronouns, because 'they' is in the front of my pronouns list. My real life friends only use 'he' because I introduced my pronouns as 'they or he', and we have a transgender friend and he uses 'he/him', so they use that on me to avoid confusion apparently.
And the reason I never say my neos in real life is because I'm afraid. I can simply mention vi/vir on RecRoom and get brutally harassed until they kick me from the server, (infront of my friend, who happens to be the first trans person on RecRoom! And she has even admitted to me she almost wanted to use neopronouns at one point and she respects them), even though I'm a well-known creator and club leader on that game, (I run the official Security Breach Club on the front page of a FNaF club search), all because of my pronouns. People on that game refused to acknowledge they were legitimate pronouns, some even called the pronouns 'fake' and said I was transphobic for using the pronouns.
What would happen in real life? In a school filled with people who fucking hate me anyways? Would it make the very few people who respect me, lose that respect? Would they hate me; would they think I'm nothing but a faker asshole aswell?
Why can't the only place I'm able to use these pronouns comfortably, be the place where people respect them?
And for the record, some people only use neos, and I have seen that on the RecRoom game too! I've respected their pronouns and they nearly fucking exploded. Most people just use they/them on these people, which is not the pronouns they want used and they make that clear. Only use they/them if you don't know their pronouns, not in a deliberate fashion to disrespect them! That's not why we use gender neutral pronouns in the first place!
Please, if someone has xe/hir pronouns, use hir pronouns. If someone uses they/it/zir pronouns, be respectful to them, and make its day by saying one word, one damn thing, to show people that you respect zir pronouns -- and you will die on that hill. If someone uses she/they pronouns, use her pronouns, and show them you care!
And in my case, if I use they/he/vi/zie/fae pronouns, use them. You don't have to use all, I don't want to pressure people, but please..don't just use one. Vi/vir are the pronouns I really love here, they were my first neos. Only 3 people have ever used them in the few years I've used them, and they majorly fucked up. But you know what? I almost cried. Why?
Because they tried to use my correct pronouns and respect me.

Note
Hello! I'm doing some research on fae/faer pronouns. I was searching through the results of previous census, and I was hoping I could get some information that was collected, but not posted publicly in the results spreadsheet. I found the post, "on fae/faer pronouns and cultural-appropriation", and it stated that fae/faer pronouns were reported on the 2013 census in May of that year. I was curious, what percentage of respondents reported the use of these pronouns? Thanks!
Only one person wrote "fae" into the pronoun box. At that time it wasn't a checkbox option and there were only 2,062 responses, so I suspect this information can't be considered reliable or representative!

Fae/faer pronouns used for reader
Link to sequel; Everything’s a Mess
Fem reader
‘Go get Price now!’ Soap barked out towards Gaz. They’d both come across a catatonic y/n, neither knowing what to do. The last time, Ghost had told them to immediately get Price if it were to ever happen again. Hot on his heels, Price gathered y/n into his arms, carrying faer to his room. ‘Will they be okay?’
‘Fae will be soon, you two will be the first to know when fae become lucid again.’ Not exactly sure on how to phrase it, Price tried his best. Running a hand down his face, sighing. ‘You didn’t happen to see anything before—‘
‘No, sorry but we just found faer like that, all slumped over and not responding. Thought fae were dead at first.’ Gaz flinching once he realized he’d cut Price off. ‘Okay, get some rest. That goes for both of you.’ Back into dad mode as ever. The only thing he could do was wait it out. ‘I’m here, hun. Gonna make sure you’re comfortable.’ Price’s tone quieter. The catatonia exhibited as a sign of PTSD, y/n’s brain essentially going into a state of survival mode; dormancy.
Grabbing one of his hoodies and sweats, Price walked back over. Lifting faer arms to remove faer tactical gear, not bothering with the straps or buttons unless necessary. Narrating as he went, internally panicking at the far away look in y/n’s eyes. From what research he did on the condition, he discovered it could last anywhere from a few hours to months on end. And while he didn’t want to say it, he’d have to consider honorable discharge.
Laying back down, Price pulled fae on top of him. Cradling faer head close to his chest, running a hand up and down faer back. ‘Take as long as you need, just come back okay?’ Price grabbed the remote, finding a movie that he thought fae would like. Listening as he heard fae repeat sentence fragments. Both lines from the movie and what Price was whispering in faer ear. Praying to whoever in the cosmos heard him that it’d all be okay.

I don't wanna sound ignorant, but how do we use your pronouns? I don't know how to use neopronouns and I'm sorry for that, but please explain. "no/it/whatever pronouns" -written on your bio. I hope I didn't offend you. That was not my intention. I was curious.
You're 100% okay! For most of us, the most important thing is a genuine intention and effort. If you mess up or don't know, that's fine. There's a learning curve--but if you mean well, that means a lot :)
The pronouns in my bio are the different sets I use. For me, this means no pronouns are my most accurate pronouns--for instance, substituting my name or my initial in place of a pronoun (ex: Quil said Q/Quil was going to write a 30 page keeper rant about pants later).
However! I am fully aware that's a little awkward and inconvenient, so I personally don't mind people using others at all. My second preference is for it/its pronouns--which are used the same way you'd refer to a creature or object (ex: Quil keeps complaining about how much it would hate all the leggings in keeper; it seriously won't shut up about them).
Some people worry this is dehumanizing or offensive--but I have asked you to do it. It's not offensive, they're my pronouns. I actually quite like the inhuman aspect personally, as I don't feel connected to the concept of human gender. It/its acknowledges that
Finally there's the "whatever" part. This is basically saying you're not limited to no pronouns or it/its, you can pick another pair if you like and use those. If they/them is easier, use that; I use those irl all the time just for simplicity. And this includes other neos, too. Feel free to ae/aer or xe/xir me, I don't care.
What I don't have in my bio is that I'm not the biggest fan of she/her, purely because usually people who do that assume I'm cis, and I'm not. I may refer to myself (specifically my past self) with she/her at times, but generally I prefer others pick another pair.
This is quite the lengthy explanation, but I hope that helps! The way my "gender" works is that I don't have one, so by association I don't really have pronouns? So no set is 100%. but like. You gotta call me something, so whatever gets the job done
thank you for asking :)
