I'm feeling things about them again.... Many things.... Like seriously where else are you gonna find lines like:
"And… I love him, Taako, with all of my heart, but you… I needed a day from you, because you are my heart. You know that, right?"
"Are you the one who's been hurting my brother out there? I'm gonna fucking kill you now."
"Do you trust me?" (*in the softest voice possible*)"Of course."
"I'm gonna- gonna go blow myself up just so I can be a lich and hold you again, hold on-"
"Taako, what if she's just gone?" "...Who?"
"Barrrrrry." "We should get back on the ship." "Barry, I rolled an eleven!"
"You know, I don’t know about in love. It’s only been tw- Um… Twenty-one years… Shit."
"I need you to tell me, in a sentence, why we should trust you and turn against the Bureau." "I don’t know, but I feel like I trust you."
"Barry, what the hell happened?" "A lot of shit. And it was all really terrible, and if you gave me the option, I would not do it again."
"I’m sorry, guys, but I have to help Lup. If there’s anything I can do for her, I- I gotta be with her."
"Hear that, babe? We're legends!"

that scene in tlo where thalia tells percy he can't start feeling sorry for luke bc luke made his choices. and thalia reveals that the reason they couldn't make it to camp in time for all of them to make it to camp was bc luke kept picking fights. and annabeth never saw this as wrong bc luke was her hero. so thalia had to pick up the pieces. and percy thinking both that luke was put in a cruel position and that luke was putting others in a cruel position. and percy is the only character who understood both sides of luke bc annabeth sees only the best of him and thalia sees only the worst. and that's why percy is the prophecy kid and the one who gives luke the knife. bc annabeth had spent the entire series essentially giving luke the knife when he didn't deserve it. and thalia was never going to give luke the knife. but percy is the only one who can see exactly when luke deserves the knife.

for me, it keeps coming back the now deleted scene in anti-hero where taylor first openly used art about something that directly impacted her mental health. and i get why it would be triggering and uncomfortable to see a thin woman portray herself as "fat" on a scale. i understand the "problematic" edge to it. and yet... i still hate y'all for thinkpiecing her into deleting the scene. it was art about something that directly impacted HER mental health and folks felt entitled to tell her how she could make art about something that impacts HER. that HER MENTAL HEALTH was distressing them, could she pretty please censor it so it would stop triggering them.
like fuck y'all. i hope she never feels the need to censor herself again to cater to you fuck ass bitches. some of you DO need to be told you're being overbearing and entitled, sorry! you don't get to censor art just because you don't like who's making it or feel the person who made it isn't allowed to use art the way they used it.

So, fun fact for my fellow Hatchetfield people. This short clip of a scene was the first thing I saw about TGWDLM cause I just had completely stepped out of Starkid fandom at the time. And I, of course, came up with my own idea of what was going on. That this guy had kidnapped two musical producers to force them to listen to his pitch. I had heard that the musical overall was about an alien invasion and had no idea how it fit into everything but just went eh, it's Starkid. It fits somehow.
Now, obviously, Emma and Ted are not musical producers. Ted is an asshole from tech support and Emma is a crabby barista. But I love that my first impression of Professor Hidgens was dead-on.

Thinking about how, at the end of the day, at the fatal moment, the sunset of the Republic, it wasn’t Yoda, or Obi-Wan, or even the Chosen One himself standing in the way of Palpatine. It was Mace Windu.
Mace Windu, the inventor of Vaapad and Master of Form VII, the Jedi's strongest duelist, the only person to ever defeat Palpatine in combat. Mace Windu, Master of the Jedi Council and the youngest Master ever appointed to it, the revered leader of the Order. Mace Windu, who forgave even those who tried to kill him, who risked his life over and over again for his troops, who, after 3 years of desperate war, tried to negotiate with battle droids. Mace Windu, who knew the clones were created by the Sith and chose to trust them, who saw every Shatterpoint in the Republic, and loved it still, and fought for it until his last breath, until he was betrayed by Anakin, who he believed in and trusted despite everything.
Mace Windu, High General and hero of the Republic, the embodiment of the Light, the last and greatest champion of the Order, the best Jedi to ever live.
