While visiting my in laws in Santa Rosa, CA I went to a figure drawing class. I did this a little bit over a decade ago while studying theater at the University of Iowa as part of costume design. ⁣ ⁣ It's good practice to get out of your comfort zone and practice things that are out of your depth. Things started out really dicey but by end of the evening things felt good about what was coming out. Made a good connection with the host and will be doing things together in the future. Art happens best in community. We're in the midst of an art rennisance and this is just the beginning.
