Emma x Draken: Love Story Part 1

How They Met

Weekends in the Sano household were usually very routine.  Shinichiro was usually with his friends at his bike shop.  Grandpa was teaching students at the dojo.  And Mikey was who knows where with his friends.  Which left Emma alone to do anything else.  That usually meant cleaning, something she loved doing shockingly for a 9 year old girl.

But today was an odd day in the Sano household.  The reason was because Mikey was still home.  He didn’t say why.  He was just there taking a shower.  She paid little attention to her older brother as she had things to do.  

She decided the first task of the day was to move some cardboard boxes of old items like comics and old toys into the garage.  Sadly for Emma, these boxes were heavy.  She probably should have just waited for Shinichiro to come home to help her, but she was determined to show them that she didn’t need them to help her with stuff like this.  Suddenly though she heard footsteps.  “Is Mikey here,” a young boy asked.  Emma didn’t recognize the voice from behind the box.  She peaked her head out.  It was a young boy, a lot bigger than most of the boys around her and Mikey’s age.  He also had a distinct Dragon tattoo on the left side of his head.  

“I’m just getting out of the shower now, Draken, I’ll be there soon,” Mikey yelled from down the hall, drying his hair off with a towel.  Draken looked back at Emma, “are you Mikey’s sister?  You seem pretty weak to be his sister.”

Emma looked up at the blonde, “I am.  My name is Emma.”

“Do you want me to take that?  You seem to be struggling.”

“Yeah.  Thank you.  I was just moving some boxes into the garage.”

When he grabbed the box their hands brushed against each other’s.  She felt sparks the moment the touch.  When she looked into his dark eyes, they were the most beautiful eyes she’s ever seen.  She snapped back to reality when Mikey walked down the hall and started speaking, “hey.  You ready to go?”

“Yeah, let me just drop these off for your sister,” he answered the shorter blonde boy.  He turned around and smiled at Emma, “nice to meet you Emma.”

The two boys walked away discussing the other boys they were meeting and what they were going to do.  Emma stood there in awe of Mikey’s friend.  She felt so flustered for the rest of the day.  She felt like she met her Prince Charming.

you turn around instinctively to the sound of your boyfriend's last name being called, but he was nowhere in sight when you did. raising a brow, your head tilted slightly to the left as you made eye contact with two of his toman friends. mitsuya and mikey were grinning from ear to ear from their table at a cafe.

"told you she'd respond to it!" mikey snickered. this only left you further confused. hesitantly, you stepped towards their table and rested a hand on your hip, head lulled to the side as you shot them a befuddled stare.

"well yeah. i thought chifuyu was around." you frowned while mikey leaned back in his chair with that smirk you knew too well. it spelled mischief. something nagged you to turn and walk away, but against your better judgement you stayed put.

"nah, his wifey is though." mitsuya laughed-- lighthearted and teasing-- when the realization hit you. his arm rested on the back of his chair as his own smirk spread across his face. your cheeks burned hot with an embarrassment you hadn't felt since your friends caught onto your crush.

you sigh, "you're both unbelievable... don't stay that in front of him, got it?"

that would save you quite a bit of embarrassment, but as soon as the words rolled off your tongue you knew you more than likely ended up instigating further teasing.

you were gonna kill them plain and simple. at least that's what you told yourself as you stood there, mortified and speechless. it wasn't just mitsuya and mikey anymore as the rest of the captains had gotten in on their little joke as well. the moment you arrived for the toman meeting as requested by chifuyu, smiley did not hesitate to call out to you with his signature grin.

"good to see ya, matsuno!" he waved to you from across the flood of toman members scattered about in front of their typical meeting spot. you whipped your head around in response, but this time it wasn't because you thought he was speaking to chifuyu. no, you had grown vigilant of their little joke, fearful they'd use it in front of other people just as smiley had.

emma, who stood beside you, also glanced towards the fourth division captain with a lukewarm glare, "they're children! i tried to stop mikey, but he never listens..."

you hadn't bothered to even wave back and chose to turn your attention back on emma, "they're getting ballsy. i don't know what i'm gonna do if they start doing it in front of him."

"doing what in front of me?" a voice spoke out behind you, causing you to jump and whip around to meet your boyfriends curious gaze. his head was cocked slightly to as side and he had his hands shoved into his pockets.

"oh, uh-" you stuttered, but you didn't even get a chance to finish your response. draken walked up to your trio with a smirk plastered on his stupid face. his incredibly stupid and idiotic face that definitely deserved to get punched especially because of what he said as soon as he stopped in front of you three.

"sup matsuno." he sent a quick salute your way.

"oh hey." chifuyu greeted him back, clueless.

"not you, i'm talkin' to your girl." the vice commander corrected. chifuyu stared at him for a moment as if not registering what he said at first.

"...but her last name isn't-" he began, then quickly shut his mouth. a reddish hue slowly crept onto his cheeks as he held draken's stare and realization sunk in slowly. the intent was hard to miss. especially as draken's smirk widened in mischief. he let out a laugh and pat chifuyu on the back before walking away to meet up with mikey.

"man, you two are too easy!"

this little "joke" of theirs had continued on for another week. honestly, it seemed as if there was no end to it. the only toman member who didn't participate in it was takemichi which were you very grateful towards him for that. he could laugh whenever he heard it, yes, but he stuck to calling you by your name. well, if it embarrasses you why would i say it? and when he said that it made you think. was it really something to be so embarrassed about?

you rest your cheek against the palm of your hand that was being supported by your elbow. chifuyu sat across from you staring menacingly at his study notes. you studied the way his blonde hair fell over his forehead and the length of his lashes as his eyes focused on the notebook in front of him. the memories of that day were painted so vibrantly in your mind while you could hardly remember just what you had done yesterday.

in a secluded spot behind the school with a white envelope in your trembling fingers, you could only focus on your shoes blow you. your face, red and burning, and chifuyu standing in front of you. you never gave yourself the opportunity to look him directly in his face as the anxiety had rose to overwhelming levels. how fast could you make it to the girls bathroom on the first floor? your lunch threatened to reveal itself. and his response after an agonizing silence caught you off guard the most.

yes, you remember it very well, very vividly. since that day you both had been inseparable. your love for him only continued to blossom. so should it really be embarrassing to be referred to by his last name? if fate would be so kind perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to imagine a forever with him.

"huh? you okay?" chifuyu's voice snapped you back to reality. your cheeks flushed with a gentle pink as you dropped your pencil on your notebook.

"hey, takemitchy wants to get something to eat after the meeting. wanna come?" chifuyu strolled up, throwing his thumb back over his shoulder to point at takemichi who was engaged in conversation with draken.

"oh, sure." you lean slightly to the right to get a look at them before shooting a smile at your boyfriend.

"if it ain't the matsunos." hakkai calls out as he approaches the both of you.

"hakkai-!" chifuyu begins, but you cut him off with an unexpected response.

"oh, hey." you turn to face the taller boy fully.

hakkai appears dumbfounded for a second as this was clearly not the response he intended for. chifuyu was just as shocked. any irritation he felt had quickly melted away, but his cheeks remained pink.

chifuyu makes a face, "wha-?"

you turn your head slightly to meet his eyes, a wide smile spreading across your face, "what? you look confused!"

"yeah, well, you just- i mean- i thought you didn't like it when they called you that." he mumbled, his shoulders falling lax.

"mmm..." you put a finger to your chin in thought, "i guess i just don't see anything wrong with it anymore!"

chifuyu opens his mouth then shuts it. he's unable to conjure any words in response, but a grin breaks out on his face soon after. he chuckles, "oh, cool then."

you laugh at his response. hakkai stands there not sure what else to do but figure another roundabout way to tease you both. of course, you were far more focused on the elated expression your boyfriend wore after your interaction with him set in. yeah, it honestly wasn't so bad.

Though, no matter how hard he tried to ignore the pull you and your apartment had on him, he always found himself wishing he was back here, with you, in this little bubble of mild contentment you'd created.

He was relaxed when he was with you. Save for right now. But you were trying to help him study for his midterm. Any other time he's been here, he always felt safe. Maybe even small, for lack of a better descriptor, when he is anything but 'small' in any sense of the word.

"You really do have a mean streak in you, you know that?" He teased as you both walked into your kitchen. "But you're right. I need a break from that book. My eyes are crossing and it's starting to give me a headache."

"Maybe I'll take you up on that. But first, can I ask you something kinda weird?" He sat down on one of the bar stools at the counter and you followed suit, sitting next to him.

"Of course! Anything, Kei." You rubbed your fingers up and down your forearm, a nervous habit. Even still, you assumed it was a question about the math you were helping him study. "What's up?"

"So, like, I know you're not into me in that way. Right? And that's fine. You've made that very clear. But, like, if you were...into me, I mean, into someone … hypothetically, I mean, what kind of person do you think you would be into? Like, are you more into the nerdy type, or the bad boy type, or, like, the artsy type?"

You didn't really understand where this was going. But you decided to humor him. "Well, I guess I've always been pretty attracted to the bad boy type. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't go for someone who was nerdy, too. It all depends on the person, you know? I have to like them first and foremost. Baji choked on his tea, spitting it all over you in the process of trying to control the amount of liquid that was coming out of his mouth.

You hopped off of the stool and went back to your bedroom to find a shirt to change into. As you did so, Baji felt his stomach turn. He knew he shouldn't have asked you that. It was stupid and immature. But he couldn't help it. He'd had a crush on you for so long that he just needed to know if he had a chance in hell with you or not. But, as he'd guessed, you weren't interested in him that way.

He waited for you to come back to the kitchen before apologizing again. "I really am sorry, y/n. I don't know what came over me. I was just, I dunno, asking for a friend. And then you started to say that if you saw someone doing something that you’d fall to your knees and …" He waved his hand in the air as if to clear what he was going to say away before it’d even had a chance to see the light of day. “And I choked and blew my tea all over you.”

You giggled and shook your head, smiling at him. "It's ok, Kei. You're a little clumsy, but you're still really sweet. I like hanging out - I mean, you know. Helping you study. I enjoy your company, regardless of what we're doing."

"Y/n? I really wanna kih-" He blushed and looked away from you before he thought you saw his face turn a pretty shade of pink.

"You what, Kei?" You leaned around him a little to get his attention. "What do you want, Baji? You can tell me. We're friends."

FRIENDS 

"Oh, y-yeah. Of course we're ... friends. Yeah. Well, let's get back to the math, then. C'mon." His heart, smile and morale sank as he headed back to your room with you.

Meanwhile, you were left to wonder what he was going to say. What did he want to 'kih'? Kiss? Oh, no. It couldn't be that. Right? Maybe he just wanted to kick your butt for making fun of his pronunciation earlier ... even though your face was the only thing giving away the fact you were getting quite a bit of entertainment from that. He wouldn't have noticed that. Right?

You followed him back to your bedroom and decided to keep quiet about the whole thing. You couldn't imagine that he would want to kiss you. You were just his tutor. And he was so cool. He had cool friends, girls practically fell at his feet when he walked by them. He couldn't possibly have feelings for you, right?

Oh, but he did. He really did. He was mad for you. He wanted nothing more than to pull you into his lap and kiss you senseless. But that couldn't happen. He couldn't ruin the time you spent together. It was precious to him, even though he knew you saw it as nothing more than a job.

The next hour of your time together was spent studying right from the book. There was no talking, no joking, just Baji finally getting to work. It was a welcome change for you. It meant you could focus on your task at hand and not worry about him trying to distract you with his unfinished sentences.

He was still so frustrated. But he was starting to make progress. He was starting to understand what you were trying to teach him. He just wished he could show you how he felt.

As you helped him work through the last of the 4 problems he had to do, he tried to come up with a way to say it. To tell you how he really felt. He was never good at words. Action was his strength. "I'm not sure about par-parallelograms? Is that how you say it? I'm so fucking sick of that long ass word. It's so stupid. Why couldn't they just say a special type of quadrilateral that has both pairs of opposite sides parallel and equal. That word is like 73 letters long. I hate it. It's so fucking annoying, y/n. Jesus."

You clapped and jumped a little where you stood, your tits bounced and his eyes went right to them. "Yes! Yes, Kei! Good! Good job!" You jumped into his arms and hugged him so tightly, burying your face in his neck, (accidentally) inhaling his scent. "I knew you could ..." you pulled your face back from him and looked into his brown eyes. "I knew you could do it ... Keisuke. Mmm ... Kei-suk-e. You ..." you breathed the words out heavily and found yourself staring at his full lips. That sly smile, his sharp teeth. Pain never looked so appealing. 

Your heart stopped in your chest when he threw the math book across the room and it slammed into your wall with a loud thud. Before you had time to process what was happening, his hands were in your hair and his lips were on yours.

You'd been so stupid for someone who taught other people things. So stupid to not see how he felt. And now, here he was, kissing you like he needed you to breathe. You reached up and pulled his long black hair back from his face and returned the kiss with just as much intensity.

"I'm sorry I didn't say anything, y/n. I didn't think you'd want me that way. I'm just a dumbass with no future. You're so smart and pretty and funny and ... and I just can't believe you're actually kissing me back right now."

You shook your head and smiled. "I'm sorry! I didn't realize what was happening, Kei. You're not as good at hiding your feelings as you think. You should have just said something, though. This whole time we've been studying everything together, we could have been ..."

"... fucking like rabbits?" He laughed, but his eyes were serious.

You reached down and unbuttoned his jeans. "You know, it's not nice to talk to your tutor like that. But Baji, you've made a lot of progress tonight. I think you deserve a reward."

He picked you up and laid you down on your bed. "Oh yeah? And what kind of reward do you think I deserve, y/n?"

You reached over to your bedside table and turned on your neon pink LED lights. "The best kind, Kei. You've earned it."

"Fuck, y/n. You are so hot. I can't wait to fuck you so hard you forget everything you've ever taught me. We’ll have to have some more lessons. Is that ok with you?"

You nodded as you pulled your shirt up and over your head. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. We can even work on your pronunciation. You're a bit of a mess with your consonants."

Inui had been your best friend since he originally joined Toman. Both him and Koko leaned towards you more than anyone else from the first division.

You had always thought Inui was so pretty, which Kokonoi noticed fairly quickly. He teased you about it often before you two got together.

You didn’t like calling Inui the same name as everyone else, which is where the thought of using his first name came from.

One night, you were hanging out with him in the old bike shop Inui stayed at. Usually Koko would be here too, but he had something going on he said he “had to deal with”.

“Are you hungry? I brought some food from the store..”

“Yeah I am, Thank you Seishu.”

Hanma and you started as a fling that just stayed to each other. There wasn’t any stated commitment, yet neither of you went to anyone else.

You thought about saying his name so many times, but never got the courage to. Until you were at a party with the Toman members.

The bar was filled with people, most tipsy and on the dance floor while Rindou Haitani played music for the whole crowd.

“God, you’re so in love with him.” Emma says before taking a sip of her drink. She watches you stare off with hearts in your eyes beside her as you two sit by Hina at the shrine. Your eyes were zoned in past Mikey and on the vice captain of the first division, Chifuyu. His focus looking up as Mikey speaks aloud to all of Toman, his body straight and center, you could see his hair sway with the crisp fall breeze that came every now and then.

You weren’t listening as Emma spoke to you, barely hearing the giggle Hina let out until she nudged you to get your attention. “Huh- what?” You look at the two girls who were just smiling at you.

“Stop gawking at your boyfriend and listen to me, we need to talk about your party.” Emma says. Your eyes narrow before turning fully to her. “At least I don’t have a Draken shrine in my room.” A gasp leaves her as she sits up, slamming her canned drink on the ground.

“You didn’t!”

“Oh I did.”

The tension rises as you two stare daggers at each other, Hina uncomfortably clears her throat before speaking up. “No family fighting please! The last time you guys fought you two tumbled down the stairs.”

“That was her fault!” You both say in unison while looking at Hina causing her to shrink up at the outburst.

You and Emma were close in age which more than likely reasoned with why you two argued so much. She was a year younger than you and Mikey yet you out of all of the siblings look the most different. You had darker hair like your older brother Shinichiro and you were taller than both of them as well, standing a few inches taller as your siblings were just under you.

Emma and you were very alike aside from constantly bickering and wrestling around from time to time. You both were really sweet, caring about your friends the second you grow that bond, she has a big heart for those she loves and you’re just a bit more reserved. You’d rather like someone from afar while Emma goes and gets what she wants when she wants it.

You sigh and bring your attention back on the blonde boy you were fawning over earlier. You spend most of the nights you come here with Emma and Mikey doing this, staring from afar and not doing anything but thinking of how cute he is. You’ve been introduced to him when you were younger, always knowing all of Mikey’s friends and most of the members in Toman yet you still knew nothing about him. Sometimes you wish you could trade places with Emma, at least she’d know how to catch his attention. “Hey (y/n)?” Hina speaks up, “do you ever talk to Chifuyu?” She asks.

Your thoughts about said blonde were cut short as you feel yourself deflate. “No...” you mumble, tucking your knees against your chest.

“She’s too scared he won’t even know who she is.” Emma teases, “she’s too chicken.”

“Am not!” You whip around, glaring once again at your younger sister who’s snickering to herself. As much as you love her, you want to tackle her down the stairs once again. The bickering between you two never ceases to stop even once the meeting ends and others pass by you sparing glances at you both.

“Just go talk to him!” Emma shouts

“Who does (y/n) want to talk to?” A voice speaks up from behind you, you turn to see your brother walking up the steps of the shrine with Draken following close behind.

Your mouth drops open slightly, how much did he hear? Does he know of the feelings you’ve had? No, he couldn’t. You’ve only told-

“Oh she wants to talk to Ch-” you whip your head around to send another set of daggers at her, a sly smile spreading across her lips before she can finish her sentence. “No one, she doesn’t want to talk to anyone so nevermind.” She smiles up at Mikey, her attention now settling on Draken as she stands up.

Your eyes stay on your sister as Mikey’s stay on you, a smile threatening to form on his face as he says his next words. “I’ll just tell him to go ahead then leave then.” All three of you girls look at Mikey, curious as to who it was.

“What?” Emma asks while glued to Draken’s side.

“Who?” You raise your eyebrows, curious as to who wanted to speak to you.

A small hum came from beside you, Hina’s features riddled with confusion as to everything that’s been happening. Poor girl.

“Chifuyu, he said he wanted to talk to you but I’ll just-”

“Where is he?” You interrupt making Emma snicker and Hina lets out a small gasp. You rise to your feet and look at Mikey who can’t help but let a smile across his face. “He’s waiting by his bike, better go before you’ve made him wait too long.” You’re gone walking down the stairs before Mikey could even finish his sentence, his head follows you as you keep a steady pace trying to walk too fast to the boy who wants to talk to you.

As he watches you a smile stays formed on his face, seeing his 2 minute younger little sister who’s clearly walking like she’s on a mission was heartwarming. You tried to be tough on the outside despite you keeping everything bottled up and being one of the more sensitive siblings; you’re sometimes the spitting image of his older brother and it does something to him. Yes he’s protective over you, that’s what brothers are for, but with the similarities you give he can’t help but give you a push in life and especially in the love department, god knows Shinichiro needed it.

Your thoughts were everywhere as you made your way towards all the bikes, what did Chifuyu want to talk to you about? Why’d he send your brother out of all people? Did he catch you staring at him? No he couldn’t have you would’ve seen him look back at you there’s no way that’s the reason. But what if it is? Someone else could’ve told him and he wants to talk to you and tell you that you’re a creep. You grab onto your fingers anxiously pulling on them as your mind goes in high gear. If you turned back now you could highjack Mikey’s bike and never look back-

“(y/n).” A voice calls out ahead of you. You glance up and see Chifuyu and realize that you made it to all of the bikes. He smiles at you as he’s leaning against his own, his hands tucked away in his pockets, cheeks a light shade of pink, the weather did drop a bit since being out here. God he was just so cute. You were staring again, no words able to leave your lips as you gawk up at the boy in front of you. Embarrassment quickly takes over once you hear him chuckle. “I wanted to give you something.”

“Huh?” The word came out before you meant for it to as you were snapped out of your mindless stares. “I heard it was your birthday.” He speaks again while standing up from his bike and walking closer to you. You blinked standing there dumbfounded as you put two and two together of what he just said. Did he just say a gift?

He pulls his hands out of his pocket and raises a small necklace up in front of you. It’s a small moon pendant with a little green stone in the middle of it. Your eyes widened upon seeing it and he swore he could see the stars in the night sky sparkle in them, a smile graced your lips as you looked closer. The relief he felt once he saw your smile relaxed him a bit. “I know it’s your birthstone but if you don’t like the color then I could always return it-”

“I love it.” You interrupt while clasping your hand over the pendant. “Thank you Chifuyu. I really do love it.”

“Want me to put it on you?” He asks, you look at the necklace and hand it back to him and turn around, pulling your hair to the side so he can clasp it on better.

The necklace hangs perfectly, it’s not too big but not too small either. You turn around and meet his eyes, he smiles seeing you wear his gift.

“So um I’ve been meaning to actually ask you something.” His cheeks deepen in color as he scratches the back of his neck and chuckles. “It’s stupid really and I’m sure whoever told me is just joking.” You tilt your head in confusion but still nodding nevertheless “Do you stare at me like Mikey says?”

Emma is going to only have a sister soon enough.

chifuyu matsuno: 

❥ the fact that your brother is in toman is something that you’re surprisingly able to hide from him for a good while; chifuyu is kind of easy to lie to, (one of his only faults). well, it wasn’t that you exactly lied to him per say, you just…didn’t mention it. that’s not a crime, right? 

❥ okay, maybe it’s a bit of an exaggeration. chifuyu is strangely perceptive and maybe has noticed that you’re keeping something from him, but it was easy to hide the fact for so long because he trusts you. he trusts that you wouldn’t keep anything important from him that concerns safety and he trusts your judgment. he doesn’t want to be the kind of boyfriend that is controlling and needs to know everything about your life, so he makes sure to tell you that you can come to him with anything and leaves it at that. 

❥ you actually find your brother to suddenly be a useful source of information for once! at first he didn’t want to tell you anything about toman, but with your incessant nagging you finally broke him, earning useful information about things that were going on. it wasn’t really like you understood any of it, but you wanted to have an idea of what was going on with chifuyu, (because he definitely wouldn’t be telling you anything about it). 

❥ your brother isn’t sure why he shouldn’t talk to chifuyu at all, but he only avoids him so that he doesn’t hear any more nagging from you, (it’s easy for him to avoid him anyways since they aren’t in the same division). 

❥ there are times when you accidentally let it slip that you know more about toman that you’re supposed to, which makes chifuyu feel a bit skeptical, but he usually writes it off as you overhearing him chatting with his friends about it. 

❥ when chifuyu finally finds out that your older brother is in toman, you aren’t even there. it happens after a meeting when he overhears your brother with his friends complaining about you, talking about how you had eaten all the snacks in the house and had left the empty bags in the cupboards just to piss him off. 

❥ normally, chifuyu would have ignored it and assumed it was someone with your same name, but it caught his attention because you had told him about that specific thing. you’d laughed to him about how funny it would be to see your brother so pissed off, promising him that you would record it and show him, (he had to admit, it was pretty funny). and now that he’s looking at the guy…the dude looks exactly like your brother. 

“oi…c’mere a second…”  “ah shit…” 

❥ now that chifuyu has figured it out, your brother wasn’t really in any sort of mood to try and make some sort of half-baked explanation. he just admitted that he was your brother straight-up, saying that you had told him to avoid chifuyu while at toman meetings. 

❥ imagine your surprise when you opened up your window for your brother to sneak back home and saw chifuyu right behind him. 

“oh wow, chifuyu! haha, what’re you doin’-?” “(y/n), i know.” “well!” 

❥ he isn’t mad at you; he just doesn’t understand why you hid it from him. in his eyes, it doesn’t really seem like a huge deal and he doesn’t think that he’s done anything to make you think that he would be mad, so he’s really more confused than anything. 

❥ when you explain to him that you just wanted to be able to know when he’s going through a hard time in toman, he feels like you’ve literally taken his heart hostage. of course, his love for you before was absolutely endless, but the fact that you went through that much trouble because you wanted to know what was going on with him…it did something to him, (he ended up staying the night that day because he didn’t want you to leave his arms). 

❥ after that, it’s surprisingly chill. your brother and chifuyu are friendly now, and it also eases your worries more. despite the fact that they both consistently assure you that nothing will happen to them, you feel better knowing that they can look out for each other and have each other’s backs, (more like chifuyu can have your brother’s back, since you’re sure your brother is useless). 

❥ it also means that you get to see chifuyu more! he’ll sometimes come home with your brother after a toman meeting, coming in to see you and have some quality time with you that the two of you didn’t get to have during the day, (it was hard to consider the time you see him in school as quality time). 

❥ he sometimes ends up falling asleep in your room, so it’s a mad rush when one of you wakes up in the morning and realizes what happened, (neither of you regret it though). 

❥ you don’t tell him this, but sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night and realize that the both of you have fallen asleep. you just don’t have the heart to wake him up when he’s sleeping so peacefully, so you decide that the two of you will just deal with it in the morning, (what? you’re not doing that because you like to hear his morning voice! what a wild accusation!). 

baji keisuke:

❥ literally already knows. 

❥ it’s a bit of stretch for him to know every single member in toman, (he might be able to do it if he really put his brain to work) but your brother is in first division, so it’s kind of hard for him not to know. he takes pride in having a good relationship with all the members of his division, so it wasn’t hard for him to put two and two together when he saw the resemblance and the same last names. 

“(y/n), your brother is in toman.” “well, yes. you have a good eye, kei.”  “haha, sarcasm, very funny. why didn’t you say anythin’?”  “i dunno, i didn’t really see any point.” 

❥ he gives up on trying to see your point, instead deciding to just agree with you. 

❥ of course, baji would go to a lot of lengths to protect the guys in his division, but he makes sure to keep an extra eye on your brother. it isn’t because he doesn’t trust your brother to handle himself, but more so because he knows that if anything did happen to him, you would be devastated, (as much as you say you don’t give a shit about your brother, keisuke knows you care). 

❥ baji would do damn near anything to keep you safe and happy, so he makes sure to tell chifuyu and ryusei to also keep an eye on your brother. he keeps it on the down low though, not wanting your brother to know that he was paying more attention to him. 

❥ because baji knew your brother before he knew he was your brother, they are pretty chill with each other, hanging out with the rest of first division after meetings sometimes. 

❥ this also means that whenever baji is over to your place, you and your brother are lowkey (highkey) fighting over who gets to hang out with him. 

“well he’s my friend; i’ve known him for longer!!” “okay, well he’s my boyfriend!! that automatically trumps friend, so he’s mine!”  “uh, do i get a say in this-?” “no!”

❥ it’s quite entertaining.

❥ in all seriousness though, you didn’t know how nice it would be for baji to be so chill with your brother and the rest of your family until it actually happened. you’re not sure why, but it gives you a sense of comfort and happiness seeing him interacting with them all, especially when he gets along so well with your brother, (it’s not because you give a shit about your brother, okay?!). 

❥ adding on to this, ryoko has basically accepted you as her second child, accepting you into the family immediately and treating you as if you were her own blood. you would say that she treats you like she treats keisuke, but given the fact that she physically tries to fight him makes you retract that statement. 

❥ she also will regularly invite you and your brother over for dinner, saying that she needs to get to know her future family, (it makes baji let out a giant sigh and makes you blush a bit, but neither of you say anything refuting it). 

❥ both your brother and baji have made an agreement to never tell you about anything that goes on in toman. you’ve tried to go against it and ask them to explain more to you, but neither of them will ever share more than very basic information about anything that’s going on, (even when you constantly pester them about it). it pisses you off that they claim it’s for your safety; how would knowing simple stuff about what’s going on put you in danger? 

❥ they will never budge. 

❥ the three of you regularly play mario kart with each other; of course, you always come out on top, which makes the both of them accuse you of cheating, (how would you have even done that?!). sometimes baji will invite chifuyu as well, which you think makes it even more fun. 

❥ despite the fact that you always bag on the both of them for doing dumb stuff and being in a gang, you suppose that you get why they do it. it isn’t because they want to make trouble and be violent with other dudes, but it’s for something more, and you can appreciate that, (it’s practically the only reason you stopped pushing to know everything that was going on with them). 

❥ baji and your brother are the official (y/n) protection squad, mean mugging anybody who looks at you sideways at school. you’ve been wondering why they have been following you around everyone, but you immediately shooed them away when your friends told you what they’d been doing. 

“you guys can’t just be doing that to everyone who looks at me!! have some faith in people, will you?!”  “no.”  “absolutely not.”

❥ it’s okay, they’re just doing it because they love you. 

kazutora hanemiya: 

❥ when kazutora and your brother first met, you swore that you could see the hostility swimming in both of their eyes, the both of them becoming extremely stiff and staring at you. 

“this is the guy you’re dating?! you can’t be serious!!” “(y/n), this is your brother? jeez, i feel bad for you being related to him…” 

❥ neither of them had been willing to give up why there was such bad blood between the two of them, so you had to threaten kazutora with not talking to him for a whole month before he confessed. 

“i kinda…beat him up… “what?!”

❥ you weren’t sure who to be more angry at, so you decided to wait to hear the full story and then decide. 

❥ it took a lot of threats and pushing, but you finally got it out of kazutora. apparently, your brother had been sent on some kind of side work mission of picking up some money from another gang when he’d been ambushed, essentially getting robbed for all the money and leaving him with nothing. 

“how much was it?”  “...10 million yen…” “WHAT?!” 

❥ you decided to drop the matter, finding kazutora completely innocent; hell, he was a better person than you. if you had 10 million yen and the person who was supposed to pick it up let it get stolen…you definitely would have killed him, (not seriously, but still, 10 million?! how does some random gang even get that much money?! how is that possible?!)

❥ now that you were aware of the bad blood between kazutora and your brother, you found it rather funny to watch their interactions whenever you had kazutora over, the awkwardness between them unmatchable. neither of them wanted to incur your wrath, but they also both had their pride to uphold, so they just flatly would greet each other and would shuffle around each other, (you were always shaking from holding your laughter in). 

❥ in all seriousness though, you don’t like the fact that they are both in a gang. even though neither of them would tell you anything, you had somewhat of an idea of things that were going on due to a friend of yours whose boyfriend was in toman. of course, you know next to nothing of the gang dynamics in tokyo, but you weren’t entirely sure that the gang they were in was…good…wouldn’t toman be better? 

❥ they immediately rejected your idea when you pitched it to them. 

❥ you have no way to know this, but kazutora very very subtly will keep an eye on your brother, although it’s completely for your sake. he isn’t really sure if you care too much about him, but even kazutora knows that losing a family member is devastating, so he will do whatever he can to keep you from having that burden placed on you. 

❥ your brother consistently grills you whenever you go out with kazutora, acting all high and mighty as if he’s ever actually done anything useful for you. he gets real quiet though when kazutora actually shows up, suddenly becoming quiet and shuffling to his room. 

❥ there’s a part of you that wants to have them make up so that it isn’t so damn awkward, but you’re not sure how to go around that, (you also think it would be funny if this keeps going on). they both have the kind of personality that wouldn’t let them apologize nor forget about the incident, so it was a bit of a stalemate. 

​​❥ you think the only time you’ve ever seen them actually team up to work together was when you started complaining about having some girls in your class teasing and making fun of you for your style. it seriously wasn’t anything crazy, and certainly wasn’t anything like bullying, but they seemed to take it very seriously. 

“hey…are you haruta?” “huh? yeah, who’re you?” “stop bothering (y/n).” “what???” 

❥ they stopped teasing you after that, but it came at the cost of some of your reputation; there is now a rumor that you have two delinquents at your beck and call who do your dirty business for you. great. 

❥ when you confronted the two of them, they pretended like they had no idea what you were talking about. 

“you two punks did this, huh!?”   “sounds like you’re makin’ things up. i didn’t do anything like that.” “dunno anything ‘bout that, on my momma.”  “we have the same mom you dumb fucking idiot.” 

❥ maybe there is hope for a friendship between them after all.

Summary: Being an Ace and a division captain are two hefty things to juggle. So what happens when the other Toman captains find the leader of the 6th division at volleyball practice

“Good hustle L/n keep it up!” The coach yelled to the s/c skinned male who gave him a thumbs up. Practice didn’t end until late that night, and the Toman meeting that had been planned had begun without. He didn’t worry about it to much, but he knew he’d have to go through a light hearted interrogation from Mikey and Draken.

To be honest, they should’ve known that the male had practice. Why you may ask? Well thats because he had mentioned his after school activity plenty of times to them. If they hadn’t known then that would be on them for not listening.

(Pov switch)

Mikey was giving his speech to the gang, eyes wandering ever so often to see if his eyes would catch sight of the h/c haired male. Before the beginning of the meeting the blonde had been searching for him and to no avail, he didn’t spot him. The other captains tried calling or texting him but they would left with his voicemail. They continued to wait for him but had to start since there was no signs of him showing up.

The meeting ended not to long ago snd Takemichi was trying to call M/n again. As he did that, the other captains conversed with each other while also wondering where their 6th division captain was. This wasn’t the first time the male had missed a meeting but the other times he’d make sure Mikey knew so that confusion wouldn’t get caused.

“Hey-Hello! M/n where were, you the meeting is over.” Takemichi spoke as his mention of the h/c haired male caught the others attention. When they approached they watched as Takemichi’s brows furrowed in confusion.

“When did you start playing volleyball?” Takemichi asked as the others held their own looks of question.

“I-uh ok we’ll come over to see you. Ok bye.” Takemichi said before hanging up.

“When’d he start playing volleyball?” Mitsuya asked as he glanced at the others. Angry hummed in response before saying.

“That could explsin the other times he didn’t show up.”

“Yeah thats true...wait Takemichi you said thst we’d go and see him hm?” Draken questioned as Takemichi nodded.

“Alright lets go I wanna see N/n-chin play!” Mikey said with excitement as he made his way to his motorcycle. The others sighed at their commanders attitude and followed behind him, getting onto their own bikes.

“Nice serve M/n!” One of your teammates yelled on the sidelines as the ball made contact with the floor of the other teams side. It was the males ball again and he bounced the ball a few times before serving it again. Once again it was a perfect serve but the other team was able to pass it back to which your teammate Lain was passed it to your setter Ryu.

The captains had just arrived to the gym and heard the sound of shoes squeaking against the floor and a ball making contact with it. A loud boom and cheering could be heard as they walked in and they saw M/n's team cheering. They could tell because of their f/c jerseys and shorts. M/n was doing a little dance with Ryu who was laughing his ass off as they did.

"Can ya'll stop acting like you won an actual game." Your captain who was on the other team said as you turned to face him.

"Your just mad that ya'll lost~!" The h/c haired male whipped out his middle finger and started to shake his hips out of mockery. The captain rolled his eyes as his gaze averted to the Toman captains who were standing by the door.

"Are those gang members?" One of your other teammates said warily, as the Captain spoke up.

"Do ya'll need something?" His voice was loud which caused everyone to turn their attention to the entrance door. M/n's eyes widened at the sights of his gang. He was only expecting Takemichi to show up.....not everyone else.

"I-uh...what are ya'll doing here? Takemichi I thought you were the only one coming." M/n replies to the others that hadn't said anything yet.

"Um yeah I did...I forgot to mention they were tagging along, sorry." Takemichi said as his eyes wandered down to M/n's legs. He kept his gaze steady on his thighs. He looked away, reminding himself that he had a girlfriend as the other captains stared as well.

"Why didn't you tell us your thighs were so.....gyat!" Baji said as he did hand motions around M/n's legs. The male laughed in response, not thinking anything of his comment. He has worked hard to get his legs to the state they were in now so he appreciated the compliments.

"Can I....touch them..? Baji asked, voice getting a bit quieter but loud enough for Mikey to hear his question.

"Not if I don't touch them first!" Mikey said as he leaped over to the h/c haired male and began to feel up his leg. He squeezed his thigh with his hand and the male above whimpered slightly from the blondes grip. M/n's thighs had muscle definition and were a little jiggly.

"Ah...Mikey are you done yet?" M/n asked as Draken attempted to pull the commander off his leg. Mikeys grip got tighter and a moan was stifled from his lips causing both blondes to look at him. The male looked away from them, forgetting to mention how sensitive his thighs were. Mikey let go and laughed with a blush on his face. Draken and the others were the same way. Smiley was laughing while maintaining his iconic expression, as well as Angry who had turned away. Mitsuya was smiling as Sanzu massaged his temple.

"Yo M/n! Come get your shit!" Lain said as he approached the male with his gym bag. M/n took the bag from him and nodded as I thank you as the brunette left the gym.

"Well now we know one of our captains secret...Imma use that against him when we play Mario Kart." Smiley said as his smirk turned to something more devious. Angry side eyed his brother as he turned his gaze over to the h/c haired male who was making his way over to them.

"I'll be at your house in a bit, the game should be updated by then yea?" M/n said as he walked out, moving towards his bike.

"What were ya'll talking about?' Mucho asked as Smiley laughed in response. He walked away from the taller male as the twins exited the premises. The other captains watched them leave with looks of suspicion.

born and raised in not only an alpha household, but a military one at that, you've often had to accommodate yourself to fit the standards of your family members.

harsh trainings, raw discussions and discipline were often made use of during your childhood. your father wished for your brothers to remain under the strictness they had during their period in the army.

you, being the youngest, often wanted to join in and imitate your siblings. despite your father being more indulgent with you, you still were raised the same way as alphas, this explains your personality one would find inappropriate for an omega.

your family always was extremely supportive of whoever you wished to become, scaring off judgemental stares and remarks about their only omega.

their time at the army probably had strengthened their instincts, being more aware and protective, especially when it came to you. the basic essence of a soldier is precisely to defend and shield the 'weaker' ; this is precisely why you never had any issues regarding your safety and well being. but it somehow also became an obstacle in your love life.

befriending mikey and draken was all too natural for the three of you. you guys met during your childhood when none of you had any concrete ideas of your second gender. you had similar personalities and a common interest for fights and getting in trouble, and that was all you needed to start hanging out together.

even after you presented as an omega, they never once turned themselves away from you, and you kept your position as a division captain. you knew very well how to fight, having received a specialised training from your father. you even joined mikey's during his own sessions when you had the time. overall, everyone knew what you were capable of and never doubted your competence : a horde of alphas having no objections following you as their captain.

mikey and draken didn't fall in love with you at first sight. it came gradually, a growing warm feeling, letting them know you were much more than a comrade they could fight alongside of.

getting to know you better was the starting point. to think your tough appearance wasn't all that you were really surprised them. by inviting themselves at your place, they realized you were much sweeter than what you let others see and not expecting you to be this open to the cuddles of your family, even letting out soft purrs of content!

what a shock it was for them to witness that. it's like reality hit them for the first time and they finally saw you as a strong omega and not simply a friend who acted so much like an alpha. you just didn't fit the usual standards society set for omegas, it didn't mean you weren't affected by your instincts.

you clumsily poured tea for them, dropping a few on the table and laughing awkwardly at your lack of delicacy. you were cute, and smelled good. you seemed much more relaxed in the familiarity of your home and mikey and draken breathes in your fruity scent you usually suppressed outside.

you even started patching them up, expertly taking care of their bruises and cuts : you could thank your experience as a 'nurse' alongside your brothers who tended to often come back with wounds.

that was such a contrast to the way they originally knew you. but upon meeting your two brothers and father, they understood where this behavior came from.

you weren't as scary as them, but they knew you got that fierce and mettle mind by living with three other alphas. that's probably why you also got along so well with the rest of the gang.

mikey wasn't one to be intimidated easily, but he recognized they weren't to be underestimated and should a problem arise, your family would easily be able to back you up.

draken introduced himself politely, mikey following along. they watched as you happily discussed with one of your brother, totally lost in the moment, unaware of your surroundings, so unusual of you who is always so watchful.

mikey loved that sight of you. knowing you let yourself relax in his presence meant a lot. as he watched you play with your fingers, he wanted nothing more than to take your calloused hands in his and act more gentle than he usually is. feeling you in ways that were still foreign for him : you awoken a side of him he wasn't familiar with.

discovering you outside of gang meetings and fights with rivals somehow was like a privilege. not many could brag about seeing you being this vulnerable.

as for draken, your entire personality seemed to be a mystery he only knew very little of. he liked that you never let people look down on you for being an omega, that you always stood up for yourself and your loved ones.

discovering that, deep down, you actually had a more adorable side to you made his heart melt. watching you read with furrowed brows because of how focused you are, is a sight he'll never get tired of. you look so different, so kind and delicate.

they sometimes wish you'll just rely on them more. allow yourself to soften and show them more of that gentle side you conceal more than once.

however, that distinction between your division captain and your at-home self, attracted them to learn more about you to the point they can't get enough of your presence.

they won't treat you like a normal friend anymore, you'll notice it soon enough. they know you can defend yourself just fine but they just desire to spend more time with you.

there's like a mutual understanding between the both of them to work hand in hand to win you over. they were together since childhood and somehow always shared everything. it wasn't a problem. and considering how each of them was enamored of you, to reach an agreement as to who would and who wouldn't court you was impossible.

it started with simply giving their jackets when yours suddenly went missing, their names along with their scents clinging on you for a long time as a clever warning for others. they shared their food, enjoying the cute face of satisfaction you showed.

it was subtle attentions, but you appreciated them nonetheless.

draken would gift you stuff he knows you'll like. he noticed how you had a colouring book on your desk back at your place and bought you new pens.

they'll progressively get more possessive of you, not allowing members to stand to close to you. and not wanting to embarrass you, they'll just call you over as if they have something important to tell you, only for mikey to ask for you and draken to go get him food, or any other excuse the both of them found. or they'll simply throw menacing glares their directions. new members often overstep and try courting you when they still don't know your position : mikey and draken won't hesitate to make of them poor souls a great example as to why you're definitely not an omega to be courted.

if they take you out on a date, you'll be back on time, per your father's orders. although they assured you'll be completely safe with them, mikey, and especially draken, don't want to leave a bad impression on your family.

as for mikey, he would still respect your boundaries, understanding you don't have to be constantly protected like other omegas do. he instead admires your independence and strong willed nature. he'll want to test how strong you are by proposing games and activity to compare your strength, and teases you when you loose to the both of them.

after all they're still alphas and you're smaller and weaker than them. there are very few people who could claim to be able to defeat this duo. this power difference strengthens their instinctive need to look after you.

still, they'll feel proud when you defend the honour of the gang, but won't hesitate to butt in whenever it's going too far and you risk injuring yourself.

their crush for you is still growing rapidly, they only don't take it further in fear for you to leave them : you tend to shield your emotions sometimes. you learned not to show them too much, unconsciously or not.

they'll keep going with their light displays of affection and hope to see things escalate even more naturally in the future.

When Baji told Toman, he had a surprise, many were hesitant. Sentences with Baji and surprise together was never good. But it wasn't until they had asked Chifuyu, if he knew what the surprise was.

"Eh! Baji is bringing his Omega!" Nobody could believe it. Baji met his Omega? How did he even meet the Omega? Wait-why was Baji the first one to get an Omega?

Toman by now we're arguing over whether or not, Baji was telling the truth about actually having an Omega. Nobody was believing it. Baji the guy who fights almost everyone he meets. He has an Omega? Yeah, sure.

It wasn't too much longer, when they heard Baji's bike. Now, when Toman saw who was on the back of Baji's bike. There was one thing, everyone thought. "There's no way that's an Omega."

On the bike was Tomans first division captain, and a really tall fucking dude. Like this guy was taller then Draken kinda tall. Even if he looked soft and sweet after taking off the helmet he was made to wear. He still didn't look like an Omega.

With Baji though, things were tough. "Come on (Name)! It's time you meet the gang!" (Name) just nervously looked around and shook his head. "A-Alpha I c-changed my mind. I-I can't do this!" The poor Omega was practically trembling.

He could not only feel the judging eyes, but the scents were so strong! It was like they were pumping out their pheromones, on purpose! It was hurting his nose. Baji just gave (Name) a small smile and softly grabbed his hand. "Alpha is here for you."

(Name) felt his heart swell. His Alpha was amazing in so many ways. (Name) gave Baji's hand a squeeze. "O-Okay Alpha." Baji grinned widely and helped the Omega off he bike.

When (Name) got a look at the Toman members, he felt like he couldn't breathe. They were glaring, and looking him up and down. The Alpha with the cold dark eyes started talking first. "Baji, who is that?"

Baji puffed his chest out in pride. "This is my Omega (Name)!" Baji tried showing (Name) off, but the Omega immediately hid behind his Alpha. As Baji tried to coax (Name) out others watched.

"Does anyone else see a two dogs instead of Baji and (Name)?" Many hums were heard. Then there was a snort. "A poodle for Baji cause of his long curly hair, and a golden retriever for the other one because he's trying and failing to hide behind him."

Draken smacked the back of Mikey's head. "Ow! Ken-chin!" Everyone just rolled their eyes and ignored the arguing commanders. They were more interested in this "Omega".

Baji had finally gotten (Name) out from behind him, but before (Name) could even say anything. The interrogation began. Many asked him how they met, or what his sent was. But the one that broke his heart. The one that made him freeze up.

"Are you actually an Omega and not an Alpha?" (Name) flinched and Baji tensed. He looked and saw a male, with beautiful long light hair and a black mask. That made everyone go quiet. They all stared at him. Waiting for him to answer.

(Name) replied with a soft yes and looked away. He sweet (scent) then turned sour. Startling many surrounding them, but not Baji. Oh no. He was pissed. "Sanzu! How dare you ask him that!"

Baji marched forward to grab the masked male, but he felt a tug on the back of his shirt. It was (Name) signaling him to just leave it. Baji growled glaring hatefully at Sanzu. "He may be tall! But he's still my sweet, and adorable Omega!"

The others were quiet. Until (Name) softly spoke up. "I-I um." He played with Baji's hand and pulled his bag off his back. "S-Snacks?" He held the bag up slightly. Baji shook his head and grumbled.

Mikey snatched the bag from (Name), and quickly opened it. (Name) jumped slightly not expecting that reaction. Baji and Draken had practically barked at the sorter male. "Oi Mikey! It's not polite to snatch stuff!"

"Eh? But he said there was snacks! I'm hungry Ken-chin." Mikey pulled out a container containing multiple treats. Including-"DORAYUKI!" Mikey immediately stuffed one in his mouth and went for another one.

Baji quickly snatched the container back and growled. "They're for everyone nt just you! He worked very hard on these." Baji held out the container for the others. "My Omega worked hard to make these for you guys. Be grateful."

Everyone took one bite then froze. These were so fucking good! (Name) smiled brightly seeing everyone enjoy the treats. Baji puffed out his chest. Proud that his Omega was a good cook.

That was until Baji was practically thrown away from his Omega. Toman surrounding the taller male. (Name) jumped and started freaking out. "Oi! (Name)-chin! Hurry up and marry Baji so you can adopt us!" (Name) paled and started stuttering badly.

Trying to politely escape the crowd. Baji having enough and seeing his Omega panicking practically fought the crowd and stood his ground in front of him. "OI! YOU'RE GONNA MAKE HIM HAVE A PANIC ATTACK! IF YOU DO I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU!"

He then pulled (Name) down and quickly covered his face in kisses. Scenting him while glaring at the others, who slowly back up. Knowing if they were too close, Baji would actually kill them.

After (Name) calmed down, he finally turned back to Toman and slightly bowed. "I-I'm sorry but w-we're not getting m-married just yet." The Toman members grumbled. Then Baji smirked. "We might next year." (Name) blushed and lightly smack the Alpha's shoulder.

Chifuyu x Fem Reader: Don’t Worry

You lived next to Chifuyu in the same apartment complex.  You, him, and Baji became really close friends.  They were always there for you and vice versa.  At this point, you spent so much time with them that Draken referred to you as Chifuyu’s wifey.  The reason he didn’t call you Baji’s wifey was because Baji let it slip one day that Chifuyu had the biggest crush on you.  He was just too afraid to admit it.

One day, they had to leave for an emergency Toman meeting, which left you walking home alone.  Not the best idea, but they taught you how to defend yourself in case they weren’t there.  You thought you’d be fine walking home alone, it was still daytime, so you didn’t think anyone would be stupid enough to attack someone in broad daylight.  Well,really wrong in your assumptions.  “Hey sweetheart,” one bigger guy with a buzz cut and a scar on his right cheek said as he and his buddies surrounded you, “you wanna come with us?  We could have a lot of fun together.”

“No thank you,” you dumbly responded in a bubbly tone.  You should have just run, but you had to answer like that.  The guy with the scar grabbed you and went to punch you hard for your comment.  You closed your eyes waiting for an impact, but it never came.  When you opened your eyes, you saw a familiar blonde, midair sassy kick the man who was just on top of you.  You smiled from ear to ear when you saw Chifuyu.

“If any of you mess with her again, you’ll feel the wrath of Toman’s first division.  Don’t ever come near my future girlfriend again,” Chifuyu said with a sheer craziness and anger in his eyes as he held the guy by the collar.  He let go of the guy, who nodded that they would never come near you again.  When they all ran away, he ran over to you and helped you up.  “You okay?” he asked, checking you for bruises.

“I’m fine Fuyu.  Thank you.  But…did you call me your future girlfriend?”

“Well…I….”  Before he could finish trying to come up with an explanation, you kissed him on the cheek.

“Don’t worry, I like you too.  I’d be happy to be your girlfriend.”  That day you started dating.  Looks like he didn’t really have to worry about confessing.
