Is it really a surprise that Jack Sparrow is gay? I mean. Literally back in the 1800's male pirates would have gay groups all the time on ships because women weren't allowed at sea because of supposed bad luck.

Initial sketch and final drawing of a commission I completed recently. The result of the final drawing I am happy with, yet I always admire the rough sketch or initial sketch, it holds a sense of energy partly due to the looseness and brainstorming of an idea. I enjoyed creating this image, it took me back to when i was a child looking forward to watching Batman the animated series. Though I know it will be appreciated and cherished, I found it difficult to part ways with.

I think this is the closest to how the footage looked

This beautiful short film by Yuval Hameiri tells us how a story and storytelling alone can be impactful. Even if one does not have much high end tools they can create an amazing story and narrate it. The subjects chosen in the story defined how the characters were, which is like a hidden gem for first time viewers.

Also, it immediately reminded me of my childhood when I used to create stories with them right after coming from schools. Maybe I will try again not with the toys but something else.
