like just sitting in the warm water with his arms wrapped around you from behind. the back of your head is resting on his shoulder. he hasn't even bathed yet, but he is already starting to smell like the bodywash he always uses. he'd occasionally shift around to adjust the flow of the water to keep it warm, shushing the quiet whine that would come out of you upon the sudden movement

afterwards, he'd help dry you off and the two of you would tuck yourselves into bed, your limbs feeling like jelly after sitting in the bath with him for so long. he pulls you into his chest, planting a kiss on the top of your head. you fall asleep pretty quickly after that.

it seemed almost painfully bland and simple compared to everything else going on in your lives.

What would Kirtch do if his human just sleeps a lot, like it's not to avoid him or to get back at him for anything. That's just the kind of person they are. Like it's just really easy for them to sleep if they aren't actively doing anything, and they could even fall asleep on him if they are just sitting there long enough. Like if I'm not at work or college or actively doing something around the house, for example I could be reading a book, on my phone, or just watching TV and the next thing I know I'm waking up from a nap I did not intend to take.

it's such a stupid pet-peeve because it doesn't actually matter, but I wish people stopped calling Tristamp Wolfwood's shoes loafers

They're too snug and have no raised heel, and the inner piping matches the super-flat sole. Plus whatever material they're made of looks thinner and more flexible than treated leather that usually gets associated with loafers. They look closer to flat espadrilles or rounded Moroccan balghas/babouches to me tbh, closest loafer would be a traditionally-styled penny loafer but they still usually have really specific piping that loops around the toe

(this is all very petty because none of it is worth caring about beyond "how easily can the shoe be taken off to be emptied of sand" and all of them are basically just cozy slip-ons lmao)
