I think Rollo would take you both to a place that's kinda far and the sounds aren't very audible, but the view of the town is great! And you get a clear view of the fireworks so that you don't have to miss how pretty they are!

I'm trying to think of date ideas but I'm kind of blanking rn? I know it'd be something more low-key... OHHH what if cat cafe??? (I feel like I keep mentioning cats but that's literally your and Rollo's energies, I can't just forget cats)

Whenever you're sick, Rollo would definitely take some time away from NBC, like a few hours, so he can see you and make sure you're doing all right! Maybe he brings you some food or medicines he heard is good for you!

I'm sure Lilia does a really good job too, plus he'd make sure you aren't lonely and in low spirits!

KNIGHT OF DAWN WHO. i'm actually obsessed with the way how silver actually looks and acts like a mix of them. he can appear very suddenly, scaring others in the process, just like lilia, he's eepy like lina and also tends to blame himself a lot just like them and he looks a lot like rollo and is very serious and responsible, just like him. he is literally their son. i'm gonna sob

here are some of my fav lina x lilia x rollo concepts if you don't mind me sharing!

lilia is 700 years old and he's been through so much and it took a lot of time for him to change and become the gremlin that he is today. lina is MUCH younger than him, but she also had to go through a lot of horrors. lilia never says that their trauma isn't valid and never says stuff like "well at least you didn't have to fight in a war". he just hopes they can feel a bit lighter when he's around.

i've mentioned before that i imagine lina's unique magic hurting them a lot in exchange for them to do things as good (or better than) as others so yeah, maybe rollo would find lina suspicious at first but then imagine him finding out about what her magic is doing to her and he's like. "SEE. I AM RIGHT. WE HAVE TO SAVE YOU WE HAVE TO GET RID OF MAGIC WE HAVE TO-" and lina is standing there like "sir.. why do you want to save me.."

*sobs* rollo putting a flower in lina's hair while she's sitting lost in thought and comparing her to that flower *CRIES*

rollo being confused why lilia is 100% okay with a poly relationship and lilia is like "well. uh. well. you see. i have EXPERIENCE" mallenoa and her husband (possibly crowley)

ACTUALLY IT'S SO FUNNY bc if you think about it lina x lilia x rollo is like a reverse version of that relationship. it's not the "actual queen" and a "trash man" it's "the nbc student council president and the most talented student from that school" and "a wet cat i found on the street and said "i just think it's neat"".

*SOBBING* LINA HAS NOTICEABLE FANGS.. DO YOU KNOW WHO ALSO HAS THOSE.. which means linalilia can just bite rollo whenever they want.

lina and lilia dye each other's hair all the time and try to make rollo join them. they fail but it's okay

A little info on my OC Ellie Mills

(posting this for my own reference when writing really lol)

𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿 〜 if your oc can drive, what kind of vehicle do they have? do they have a dream vehicle?

Ellie drives a 1968 Ford "Highboy F250 "Survivor". She learned the basics of how to fix cars when she was little from her brother Jason before he left.

𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗻 〜 what does your oc wear to sleep? do they have a dedicated set of pajamas or do they just wear whatever?

Honestly she would just wear a tank top like this and underwear. Unless you had company. Then she'll throw on a pair of boxers.

𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮 〜 if your oc has a bag or a purse, what are five things that’d be inside?

Tv shows, she loved things like The Addams family, Bewitched, The Munsters, and yes she still watches them. Movies, she loves Desperado and Silence of the Lambs the most and to this day will watch them any chance she gets.

𝘄𝗼𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗼 〜 what’s their relationship like with their parent(s)/guardian(s)?

She has a really good relationship with her mom and stepdad, very loving. She doesn't talk to her dad as much since she hasn't seen him in years.

𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 〜 does your oc have any disorders or disabilities?

ADHD is her worst one, had a hard time keeping her mind on one path. Other than that she suffers from depressive episodes.

𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮 〜 who are some of your oc’s best friends?

She had some friends back home but wouldn't call the close. Her mom is pretty much her best friend. Ellie finds it hard to trust people so she doesn't make friends easily.

𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 〜 describe your oc’s personality

Ellie is pretty laid back and chill. She's more of the motherly type and will take on that role most of the time at family gatherings. Not much of the party/drinking type, is definitely the person making friends with the dog at any sort of party. That doesn't mean she doesn't know how to have fun, but just prefers to be herself around people she knows. Isn't afraid to speak her mind if the situation calls for it, but is usually the quiet one that observes. That being said she's usually the jokester type in her friends group, as well as the one most come to for advice.

Honestly she would say her ex's but to her they are lessons.

Nothing that she can put her finger on, she's kind of a combo of Hobbit, meets woodland witch, meets cottagecore/grannycore.

She has her ears pierced, as far as tattoos she has a feather tattoo that her whole family has on her chest, other than that she has vines,leaves,and flowers going up her arms and shoulders. Stopping at her wrists and chest. Though she would like to get stuff on the back of her hands.

𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗶 〜 is your oc a smoker? (tobacco, cannabis, etc.) if so, do they plan on quitting?

No she doesn't smoke and doesn't really drink either.

𝗺𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗮 〜 has your oc ever committed any crimes? if so, what did they do? if not, what would they be most likely to commit?

She hasn't committed anything besides maybe ripping music and movies. But crime she's most likely to commit? Honestly she would murder someone to protect a loved one.

𝘁𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 〜 what kind of hobbies does your oc enjoy? is there anything they’ve always wanted to do but never had the time/resources to try?

She enjoys cooking/baking, gardening, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, painting/drawing and writing. Really anything she can be creative in.

𝗺𝗮𝗶 𝘁𝗮𝗶 〜 how was your oc’s life growing up? did they do well in school if they attended? do they have any awkward teenage memories?

Her childhood was very sheltered, until it was all flipped upside down. She went to public school for a few grades but went back into homeschooling eventually. She doesn't really have any awkward teen memories unless she counts her first kiss.

��𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗶𝗶 〜 does your oc speak any other language(s)? if they didn’t learn to speak the language(s) when they were growing up, when and why did they learn it?

She only knows a few words in Swedish and Japanese and that is simply from shows and movies.

𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲 〜 if your oc wears any perfume/cologne, what’s their favorite?

She doesn't really have an all time favorite, but she does prefer more woodsy/floral scents.

I picture her to sound like Rachel Maksy

𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆 〜 what does your oc consider to be their best feature? alternatively, what’s something they’re most self conscious about?

She really likes her eyes because they are green and she knows that green eyes are not as common.

She is most self conscious about her tummy and breasts cause she has a pooch and small breasts. She's a pear shape, only having B cups and wide hips.

Anyone who would hurt children

32. A Leo. A Viera who was adopted by lalas. She is beautiful, and a slut. She bites really hard also. Lesbian Dragoon. Likes cute things and desserts and usually smells kind of bad because she’s in armour and jumping around a lot. Has a gf who is a butch catgirl who she likes to torment by putting her hand on her thigh while they’re in public. But also was dating Ysayle. I kind of also pair her with Zero, because I want Zero SO bad. Nice, though. Kind of stupid, but it’s ok because she is kind and pretty. Likes to make her own accessories also and is good at goldsmithing. Grew up in Uldah, but by the end of EW is living on the Azim Steppe full time because of course you are you fucking lesbian... camping? do you also have a fucking subaru?

2. G’ateau(or Gateau)

26. A Scorpio. Gay. Red Mage. A miqo’te who is a little shithead mischievous and has no family(except for his bestie’s family) since his is all dead. He is pretty, and a slut. Likes to spray people with his rose perfume so that they smell like him because he’s a cat. Likes to dress fancy, play card games, and get wasted then throw up in potted plants because of it. But also very good at weaving and is quite smart though he pretends to be stupid pretty often. Dating Riol from the Scions but also any other man I think that he would look cute with. Has a hrothgar bf who he torments by showing up at his classroom unexpectedly and sucks on the end of pens or something. Selfish, pretty lazy, and asks you to pick him up from places at 2am by calling you 30 times in a row even though he knows you’re asleep but he is cute and gets away with a lot because of it. Grew up in La Noscea because Of Course He Did.

34. A Gemini. Bi. A Lalafell who is Fraise’s cousin though they don’t always have the best relationship. Ill-tempered. White Mage. For the cottagecore/mori bitches. Could make a soup that would make you forgive your dad but could also make you a sturdy 2x4 in case you still don’t and want to kill him, and stay in the forest away from people. Putting the Mental and Ill in Mentally Ill despite looking like That. Used to be dating Haurchefant but he is dead and now all she has is her agonies about it. Married to my friend’s lala Kikiru, and also Alastair is her best friend in the entire world and if you’re mean to him she will kill you. Basically a gruff dad who grills in the body of a precious moments statue so will act like she couldn’t care less you’re there but actually has slipped a new pair of gloves into your bag because you mentioned your hands being cold once. Grew up in Uldah but now lives in Gridania with Alastair.

4. Alastair

??? A Cancer. Bi. Elezen. Paladin. Technically he’s a mammet, originally made to be a fighting machine but his creator felt bad and programmed him with hyper-empathy and so he feels people around him’s feelings as his own to varying degrees. Cries a lot because of it, but him and Cottoncandy also use it to gossip about who is in love with one another. May stare at you a lot because he forgets to blink, but very kind and will be your friend and help you with whatever you like. Likes to eat jam on toast even though he really doesn’t need to eat. Has been seen in the company of Aymeric, but also Granson on the 1st. Cottoncandy is his best friend in the entire world and if you’re mean to her he will kill you after he tries to talk it out with you. Grew up in ????? but lives in Gridania with Cottoncandy and his cat.

omg do you have any ideas for the gaang + room decor (in a modern au ?? perhaps ??)

ok so aang wouldn’t really have that many material possessions, especially nothing flashy (though he probably has some art and assorted knickknacks) but his spaces would always have really warm vibes. like i picture his childhood bedroom walls being painted a kind of friendly, mustard yellow, and there being candles and blankets and pillows everywhere like when you’re in aang’s abode you just feel welcome and cozy and at peace

and then coupled with katara’s vibes, when they move in together as adults, it’s just extra warm and lovely and the walls are painted a light beige and there’s lots of indigenous art on the walls and seashells they’ve collected over the years on the mantle and on the coffee table and they’re both obsessed with candles which sokka claims is a fire hazard

katara’s childhood bedroom is entirely blue and purple because those are her favorite colors and she refuses to display anything in her rooms that does not match her particular colorscheme. she has lots of posters hanging on her walls, like she has a karl marx quote next to a picture of some boyband she’s obsessed with next to a poster of sea turtles she got at a climate change rally. also she would have one of those cutesy little landlines that is also purple and she twirls the cord around her finger while telling aang about her day, even though he was with her the whole time they still call each other every night just so she can twirl her phone cord around her finger

sokka’s room is extremely clean, like freakishly so, except for his desk which is an absolute fucking mess. he wouldn’t even know how to begin organizing it so he never bothers. half his closet space is dedicated to katara’s clothes (even tho she has her own closet) which he’s fine with because he only wears like three shirts, or just wears suki’s clothes anyway. he has a bunch of posters with science puns, and a periodic table poster, and a poster of uranus which is his favorite planet (everyone thinks it’s his favorite planet because he thinks the name is funny but it’s because he thinks it’s cool that it has a 98 degree axial tilt! she’s so unique.... so mysterious...) and also he has a really fluffy bright blue rug in the middle of his room that yue always insisted on lying down on even though the bed would have been objectively more comfortable. she liked sitting on the floor and getting lint all over her white sweaters, which her mother couldn’t stand. sokka gives the rug to katara after she dies because it reminds him too much of her looks kind of childish. katara had been eyeing that rug all her life (it’s fluffy and blue??? sign her tf up!!) so it actually worked out pretty well... all things considered.

the only things toph wants in her room is things that her friends have given her that remind her of them. otherwise she hates material possessions of any kind (reminds her too much of her evil bougie family) and thinks furniture should exist to be comfortable, and that’s it. if she couldn’t fit everything she owned into a small backpack, then she wouldn’t be toph.

zuko keeps everything because he gets sentimental over literally any object. no azula you can’t throw out that old leaf!!!!! he found that leaf in the park and it had a little caterpillar bite taken out of the side and don’t you see that leaf symbolizes him???? if he threw out that leaf it would be like parting with a piece of his soul!!!!! sokka’s like “oh so you’re a hoarder” which makes zuko even angrier because how is HOARDING if every object MEANS something even marie kondo would claim that if it sparks joy then it must be kept!!! and sokka’s like “....this empty sprite can sparks joy??” and zuko, deadpan, is just like. “IMMENSE joy.” katara hung out in his room one time and the clutter was so stressful for her that she just invited him back to her house every single time after that day. at one point mai just straight up says to zuko “maybe your weird little trash collection isn’t the problem, you just like feeling like you have some semblance of control over yourself and your life” and zuko immediately bristled at such a ridiculous, unfounded accusation and then refused to speak to her for three days, yknow, for no particular reason.

no one knows where suki lives (though the most popular theory is that she was actually raised by wolves) so no one, including sokka, has actually seen the inside of her bedroom. they’ve seen the inside of her pickup truck, though, which is basically the same thing. it’s filled with empty chip packets and loose joints and underwear that is not hers and sports gear that is mostly hers. it smells distinctly of girl sweat, and the same playlist of indie rock angry sad girl bangers is always on in the background. she knows the words to every single song that comes on when in her car, and she isn’t afraid to sing along to them, which most people find endearing, but katara absolutely cannot stand. she enjoys driving with no destination in particular in mind, and she and sokka like going to secluded areas and lying in the back of her truck and getting high and stargazing, an activity which might resemble a date to the untrained eye, but is in fact, totally not a date, because that would mean they’re dating and they’re definitely not, okay???

azula, naturally, is all about the minimalist rich bitch aesthetic. her apartment as an adult is so cold and uninviting sleek and modern that people are amazed that she’s not depressed just living there (and honestly. isn’t she?). there just is so much empty space and modernist architecture, not even a single carpet or piece of art on the walls. normally people who are into modernism would at least have some modern art, or something, but azula doesn’t actually understand modern art because it’s too abstract and mystical, and all art, really, is some froufrou nonsense for people like zuzu who gaze into wells all day instead of knowing how to get ahead and make bank. most of her bookshelf is just books that look good on a bookshelf, her old law textbooks, the art of war, and of course, ayn rand. lots and lots of ayn rand.

ty lee shares a living space with so many other girls that attempting to carve out her own distinct space for herself would be a fruitless endeavor. instead she makes a bunch of interior decor dreamboards for herself that comprise an inexplicable mix of gothic cathedrals, iconic 80s/90s teen girl bedrooms, cottagecore, and french rococo. yes, she knows it’s not aesthetically cohesive; sue her.

mai really really hates her parents’ style of mcmansion with just enough diluted japanese influences that it somehow makes them seem more assimilated. she wishes her room had yellow wallpaper just so she could peel it. as an adult, she makes sure to hang art she actually likes on her walls, but her taste in art is strange and offputting to pretty much everyone. she’s like grunkle stan in that one scene. whatever. everyone is a bunch of filthy aesthetes; they can’t handle the real shit that actually says something. also she has a giant terrarium for her lizards that takes up like a quarter of her living room. what i’m basically saying is that she is the coolest girl in the world and also fundamentally undateable.

when mai and ty lee ultimately move in together all of their stylistic interests clash with one another but they don’t care because their home is just filled with things they like, so it doesn’t matter. ty lee thinks that mai’s offputting art is amusing (mai’s like no it’s supposed to be DEEP but ty lee has a really twisted sense of humor so it’s just funny, the same way that horror movies are funny) and mai likes how eclectic ty lee’s tastes are. anyone who walks into their home only need to look around for 3 seconds maximum to be like “ah yes........... lesbians live here”

Character meme: Xue Yang

oh fuck YES TIME FOR BEST! WORST! BOY!!!!!

How I feel about this character: I LOVE XUE YANG HE IS SO FUN. see the funny thing about this is I...did not like him initially. when we met him in episode 3 in CQL i was like “ugh, an overacted bad boy villain, how typical, he’s going to be really annoying and have a ton of obnoxious stans”. and then episode 10 hit and i was like huh he’s actually pretty fun. and then. yi city. and reader? now I am the obnoxious Xue Yang stan. he is very evil and mean and having a fantastic time, until his own cruelty catches up with him and then he is having the worst time ever. he falls in love as deeply as he’s able and then destroys it. he is actually an incredibly smart and talented cultivator! and he has a very good Obligatory Tragic Backstory. everything about him is just really great, I adore him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: oh everyone, Xue Yang is the fandom bicycle and I love that for him. he’s so audacious and horny that you can throw him in with practically any character and get some fun out of it, and as a weird rarepair liker, that’s extremely good. of course, my main ships for him are Xuexiao and Songxuexiao, because tragedy and murder and sudden gutpunches of sweetness and tenderness and then way more murder. I used to not be able to see Songxue as much as the other two but recently i’ve been thinking about how they spent eight years together, and all of that time was spent in bitter mutual grief, and...yeah. Yeah, I want to explore that in my brain a little more. I’m also gratified at the popularity of Xueyao, because hooray murder fuckbuddies. I’m very mad at the relative unpopularity of Xuexian because come ON, Xue Yang has a crush on him that’s visible from space, Wei Wuxian gets where he’s coming from but also hates his guts, and then there’s the inherent eroticism of fucking your narrative parallel. There should be reams and reams written for this pairing! Off the top of my head I’ve also read and enjoyed fic where he was paired with: Lan Wangji, Nie Huaisang, Nie Mingjue, Jiang Cheng, Wen Qing, and Lan Xichen. And then there’s that one Xue Yang/Jiang Yanli fic which may be one of the best things ever written in the fandom.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: ...Honestly, I feel like most of the dynamics I’m interested in with him involve sex, or at least attraction, partly because I feel like whenever he feels strongly about a person he feels everything for them at once (see: Xuexiao), and also I am a horny son of a bitch. I am, however, interested in his relationship with A-Qing and their uneasy peace that barely lasts until it doesn’t. I wrote a whole thing about that and I’m pretty satisfied with that exploration, but I feel like there’s definitely more to talk about with them.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Haha oh man. This certainly is a character that lends himself to unpopular opinions huh. I have two that I think will be unpopular in very different segments of the fandom:

A lot of people who dislike him dismiss him with “he’s just a random murderer, he has no reason to be so evil!” and I think that’s a pretty big misreading. He has a clear explanation for why he is as he is: he grew up in a world of deprivation and violence. Moreover, his character is set up to parallel Wei Wuxian and Jin Guangyao, whose backstories are more elaborated on but who follow the same pattern. Xue Yang as a character is meant to drive home the theme that people who are seen as lesser or subhuman often end up doing terrible and desperate things as a result. He’s fully consistent with the rest of the story and he’s certainly not just a random murdertwink. There’s also the whole “it was only a finger” thing, but I’ve got a meta cooking about that.

On the Xue Yang apologist side of things, I think there’s a tendency for people who like him to...flatten him a little bit, make him a bit softer and easier to grasp. Not that people make him “too sympathetic” or whatever, I think that he’s just difficult to write correctly, since his worldview is so inhumane, and people fall back on troubled-but-cute tropes for fic with him. Like, a lot of fic has him be weird about affection and praise, which I do think is in character, but I think people don’t get the reasons for it quite right. Xue Yang is not insecure and does not see himself as undeserving. (Basically the complete opposite actually) If he struggles with affection, showing it and accepting it, it’s because it is so alien to him and he doesn’t expect it to last. It’s a subtle distinction, but it’s there, and I keep running into it in fic.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I keep saying this for the Yi City gang but i’m really satisfied with their canon! the arc basically ties up in a bow, for Xue Yang especially, since he meets the end he was always going to meet. If anything, I do wish we had more scenes from his cottagecore AU life with XXC and AQ, but there’s also all the fic in the world for that. Xue Yang as a character is just very satisfying to me. A good little monster.
