Can I request Vi, Jinx and Caitlyn trying to cheer up/apologize to their S/O after a nasty fight? I wonder what they would do to try and make it up to them.

VI 💘

Okay, she def said some mean shit to you. She’s good with her fists, but she has a sharp tongue too. She can destroy someone with her words just as fast as she could with her bare hands.

You’re hurt and upset, probably crying or maybe you’re angry at her. She knows you’re upset at her too…she just doesn’t care rn.

Once she’s gone off on her own to calm down, she’s thinking about what she said to you and the longer Vi thinks about it, replaying the words in her head, the more she feels guilty.

She comes back to find you later with the saddest look on her face. It’s obvious that she feels so guilty she wants to die right now but it doesn’t make the sting of her words any better.

“(Y/N)….I…” She can’t even come up with words that could fix this. She knows she really fucked up.

She’d definitely try to physically comfort you before she would try to offer comforting words. She does not know how to say sorry, it’s lowkey so hard for her. She feels sorry but the words just won’t leave her mouth.

Vi would sit or lay beside you and gently cup your chin in her hand, turning your face so she can look at you.

“Sorry…” She finally spits it out, watching your eyes water.

Then she’d go straight in for a kiss, maybe on the lips, maybe on your forehead. She’ll put her lips wherever you’ll let her rn.

If you accept/return the kiss, now she’s feeling more comfortable with talking. She’ll apologize again then kiss you again then apologize again then kiss you again, maybe slip a little compliment in about how precious you are to her then back to kisses. This goes on for like 5 minutes straight until you’re smiling a bit and your heart feels full again.

If you DONT accept her kisses or apologies, she’ll get so sad. This girl will just watch you with wide eyes, chewing on her lip as she asks “what…can I do?”

Honestly, give her any task you can think of, she will do it so fast with no complaints. Tell her to go jump off a bridge and she’s running there. Tell her to actually give you a proper apology and she will stutter through it and look at you with puppy dog eyes as she tries her best to make you feel like she doesn’t hate you.

If you’re just giving her the silent treatment, she will literally go disappear for like 8 hours. She’ll just give you space and go think about what she did. She’ll spend this time reflecting inward, thinking about what lead up to the outburst, why she felt the way she did, why she let her emotions get the best of her, why she took it out on you of all people.

When she finally comes back, hopefully you’re more ready to listen and respond to her. She’s so grateful when you are.

She will do literally anything for you when you’re upset with her. Even if it’s illegal or dangerous or something she has no idea about, she’ll figure it out and do it for you. Think there’s something she won’t do? Try her.

Once you’ve been consoled and talked to properly, when you’ve finally accepted her apology, she just wants to be close to your. You don’t have to be cuddling, you could just be holding hands or laying down with your head in her lap. She just needs the physical reassurance that you’re still her ✨partner✨

JINX 🦋

Let’s be real…Jinx blows up on you a lot. She just loses it too often and you two are so close, you’re always right in the path of destruction.

She’s not really the type to apologize after every time she blows up on you. If it’s obvious that you’re just butt hurt and irritated with her, she won’t bring up what happened but she will get all clingy and nice all of a sudden. She knows what she did and she’s gonna cheer you up and make you feel loved. She just wants to remind you that she’s unstable but your relationship shouldn’t be. She’s trying.

If she really upsets you, says something that really hits home, she’ll break down crying almost immediately after the words have left her lips. You might not even be crying yet, but Jinx is. She can tell by the look on your face, the way your lips are turned down and your eye brows are lowered, she can tell that you are truly hurt.

When you’re upset like this, she will cry hysterically as she tries to apologize and explain herself. She’ll be sniffling and hiccuping as she furiously wipes her wet eyes. Honestly, when she gets like this you think maybe she’s more upset than you are rn.

When she yells at you like this, it all comes pouring out of her mouth in the heat of the moment. She’s just in a blind rage. But as your face changes, she’s always reminded of her sister. The way her sister would yell at her and call her names. It triggers her and she always ends up sobbing in your lap, begging for your forgiveness, begging for you to stay with her, begging for you to love her still.

If you readily accept her apology and maybe offer her some comfort, she will comfort you back tenfold! She’s playing with your hair, gently scratching your back, offering to rub your feet while she’s still apologizing every so often. She feels like a bad dog who needs punishing and bc you won’t really punish her, she turns to manual labor on you. This is her punishment, pampering you until she’s exhausted.

If you’re not so quick to accept her apology, she gets scared…like actually terrified of you walking out on her right now. She’ll get really quiet, probably not even crying anymore, but she won’t let go of you. She’ll stay flush against you, her arms trapping your torso against her own. She feels like if she just clings to you, you can never leave. She can’t handle you leaving…plz don’t leave her.

As you both sit in silence, she’ll remain still, only moving to tighten her grip or lay her head on your other shoulder. In this moment, nothing else matters to her, no one else matters to her. Sure, she’s probably scared of being alone, but she’s never loved someone as much as she loves you. You are her everything…if she loses you…then she has nothing else to lose. She doesn’t know what she’ll do then.

She’s basically having a silent panic attack as she clings to you, awaiting your response. And she’ll wait forever if she has to.

If you need some space and time to yourself, she will literally just back away a little bit and still stay in the same room. She’s literally terrified…she thinks if she leaves the room she’ll never see you again. But she will stay silent and give you some breathing room.

Once you’re finally ready to talk about it, she’s constantly interrupting you to tell you that this is all her fault and how sorry she is. She isn’t trying to speak over you, she just feels like you shouldn’t be the one doing the talking, she just needs to make sure you know how horrible she feels.

As you talk it out and come to terms with what has happened between you two, she’ll get happy again and start smiling at you. She’s just so overjoyed that you forgave her and are willing to keep trying with her. That’s all she can ask of you…please keep trying. Don’t give up on her.

She’s a good girl at heart and she’s trying her best with what she’s got.

CAITLYN 🤍

It’s actually very rare that you two fight. Caitlyn can be very stubborn and hard headed but she is always willing to compromise for you.

This time tho…she just lost control. She was having a rough week, feeling like she lacked confidence and security in her job, feeling the weight of her parent’s expectations of her and she just snapped at you.

Yeah…it stings but she would never say anything offensive to you. Ever. She might raise her voice at you and call you a pain in her ass but a crude name or insult would never leave her mouth when talking to you.

She probably just told you to shut up and leave her alone bc she’s stressed okay? She can’t handle you rn. She needs to be alone and think in silence.

If you’re upset and decide to leave her be, she’ll spend maybe an hour or two alone before she comes to find you. When she does, she takes your hands in hers and says your name so softly. If you’re not looking at her, she’ll pull her hand away from yours to gently grab your chin and turn your face to her. She pretty much forces eye contact and tenderly whispers an apology.

If you decide not to leave her, maybe you just back away and stay on the other side of the room. She’ll accept your presence as long as you’re quiet…and after the way she said “shut up”, you’re sure to keep quiet.

After maybe 20 minutes, she’s speaking up to apologize…but she’s still in a sour mood. Don’t let her stern apology fool you. You should probably just stay silent.

Soon she’s waving her hand at you as she mumbles “come here…” and you do. You go to her slowly, noticing how she’s watching you. Once you’re within arms length of her, she’s reaching for your hands and trying to look into your sad eyes. She’ll shyly apologize as her thumbs rub over your hands.

If you don’t accept her apology so quickly, she’s very mature about it. She’ll tell you that she accepts your response and then she’ll say how sorry she is again before leaving you to think about it more. She’ll give you space for as long as you need it. She’ll busy herself with other things while still thinking of what she can say to make you understand how sorry she is. She’ll take this time apart to really think about how much you mean to her and how she can better herself and your relationship.

If you immediately accept her apology, she’ll pull you into a tight hug and gently kiss your cheek before explaining herself to you. Caitlyn feels like she has to explain where she’s coming from and why she snapped like that. She needs you to know that she’s not upset with you and she shouldn’t have taken her anger out on you. She doesn’t want you thinking she’s mad at you when she’s actually mad at everything but you.

Whenever you decide to accept her apology, she wants to have a whole conversation about it immediately. Like I said, Caitlyn is very mature, very polite and caring. She wants to talk this out like a couple in love should. She wants to dive deep into your partnership and make sure you’re feeling okay.

She just cares about you so much. She never means to snap at you…she’s just under a lot of pressure. So when it does happen, she can’t just sweep it under the rug. She must be sure that you still love her and that you know she still loves you. Plz tell her you still love her.

Okay, it's 10:30 in the morning, I'm running on two hours of sleep, but I really want to get my thoughts out about the new episode (and wow, it's absolutely safe to say that all of us were not expecting this to happen because we usually get an announcement about a week or two before the premiere, so that's very mind-blowing (should I mention the fact that it came out on Chosen's birthday?)).

Spoilers under the cut:

Yep, as the others pointed out, the gray stick figure is confirmed to be Victim, as proven by this detail here:

And his main goal reveals to be getting revenge on Alan since his presumed death around 17 years ago. Though it's still not confirmed on how he was able to escape his deletion. I did hear a theory, however, and I think it was posted in the first episode of AvA VI, that Adobe Flash does save a temporary file, so that might explain how he escaped. Whatever the case may be, there's no doubt that this will be one hell of a family reunion once Alan and Victim meet face-t0-face again after all those years.

And how to do that? He's going to have Yellow bring him in. Theory correct that Yellow's going to be playing a major part in the story because of how there were two scenes in which he was the first to appear (one where Second started using his pencil to fight off the mercenaries, and one where the mercenaries took off with a paused Chosen and Second), and how he was the first to lead the stick figures in the direction the fight was taking place after arriving (all details in AvA VI: Episode 1 - Wanted, of course).

Braindumping about Silco and Vi, because these two are such fantastic narrative foils for each other—and, in the same breath, completely cut from the same cloth.

I keep wishing they had more scenes together, another square-off, something to put them head-to-head—because there's so much potential for them to counteract the layers of each other.

At the root of it all, Vander's looming between them, this monolith of a presence that ties their pasts together. But above that, still, we have Jinx—who not only is their driving tension, but their greatest possibility for reconnection.

Here, we have Vander's daughter—someone who, for all intents and purposes, has become what he wanted, but who has also been someone he saw too much of himself in; who he did his best to reshape, instead of enable, and who put him on a pedestal, and truly saw him as hers, more than perhaps anyone (except, well, Silco).

Vi treasured Vander, fully looked up to him as her father—and losing him shattered her. In between all the layers of it, there's this underlying thread in his actions towards her, a tension that just sits with her through Act 1—Do as I say, not as I do (or, rather, as I did).

Here, we also have Vander's partner—someone who knew him before, knew what he was, what he resented, and what he became, instead; and who bears the scars of what all their fallout grew to be. Someone who holds the memory of him tangibly, in multiple respects, as though it is something he physically cannot sever: Vander's knife, the Drop—and even, in some ways, Jinx.

Silco is still clinging to the idea of Vander, throughout the entire series. To the potential in their reunion at the cannery; to the reassurance of what he knew him to be (I knew you still had it in you; Vander wasn't the man you thought he was); to this need he has to still speak to him, even after everything.

But Vi was raised with the burden of being the eldest; being the one most capable of providing protection—and, as a consequence, with the burden of responsibility.

She's not only a sister to Jinx. She's a guardian to her—and in many respects, a stand-in mother. And Silco, as a surrogate father, is standing right in the middle of that. A roadblock between "Powder," as Vi knows her sister as, and "Jinx," as Silco knows his daughter to be.

Right at the forefront, we have so much conflict here. Vi is so similar to Vander, to the point that she is nearly his spirit incarnate—so much so that having her resurface from a presumed grave just sets fuel to fire for a vendetta Silco has never been able to snuff out.

But beneath that—far beneath that—they have so much in common. Vi's headstrong rebuttals in Act 1 about going against Piltover and striking them down, about being made to feel lesser her whole life and needing to fight against it, just sings with Silco's anger in the cannery (You'd die for the cause, but you won't fight for one?).

These are two kindred spirits, two revolutionaries willing to do anything for their city and those they love, and who aren't afraid to fight for it. Who want to fight for it.

But trapped between it all, we have Jinx. Someone Vi is not willing to sacrifice (i.e., her memory of Powder), and who Silco, by the end of the series, isn't willing to sacrifice, either (i.e., his loyalty to Jinx).

Vi, of course, could never fathom Silco being a father to Powder (how could she, after he is the reason Vander was taken from her?)—and looks for justifications for her hatred, in everything he does.

But the unfortunate truth of the matter is that for all Vander cherished and nurtured Vi as a vision of himself—so has Silco, to Jinx. He sees himself in her. He has empowered her, cherished her. He is so incredibly tender with her, in his own ways. And—for all his absolute faults, his skewed morals, his tunnel-visioned zealousy to achieve Zaun—he is a good father to Jinx, just as Vander was a good father to Vi.

The question I keep finding myself mulling over, though, is whether these two could find elements of that, once again, in each other.

There are so many things Silco isn't—not only in Vander's shadow, but simply in the character that he is. He doesn't come in swinging; he plots, he strategizes, he fights with words. He isn't a warm presence, or a jovial one; he's chilling, he's dry, he's distanced. There are countless contradictions one can draw between the two of them—and so many layers one can tease apart, on how their opposites attracted each other, how they worked (a balance that will no longer ever be).

But there are so many things Silco is. He's critical, he's fiercely rational, he knows how to weave a crowd around his finger with a single intonation. He admires the outcasts, the scrappers, those that have dredged through society to claw for what they can. He surrounds himself with them—and he operates alongside them, as an equal as much as an usurper.

He's a flavor of parenthood Vi didn't receive, but could have—the one that would have validated her need to fight; who would have taught her that strength comes in numbers, not in one's single ability to protect; who would have seen her snarkiness, her quick wit on her feet, and taught her to use it to her leverage.

The tragedy of the whole series is that Jinx needs them both to have balance in her life—to keep the tether of her child self and her trauma from splitting her apart at the seams—yet for Silco and Vi, as the narrative destines them for (and as it destined Silco and Vander for), any semblance of a connection between them is doomed for destruction.

There's too much they hold fiercely to themselves, in their own traumas, that they cannot set down—even for the sake of Jinx's needs. They are equally selfish, in that way. They want the version of Vander that they are not willing to let go of; and they want the version of Jinx that they know her to be.

But they could change. They could.

Silco did, by the end. Chose his daughter, his legacy, over the cause, over his vision of progress. And Vi did, too. Chose "peace," chose to set down the gauntlets, chose politics (and—arguably—complacency, in the same way Vander did) as the path forward.

But what if they set it all down, for Jinx? What if they became what she needed, on both sides? A father who sees her, nurtures her, like Vander saw and nurtured Vi—and a sister who loves and protects her, like Vi loved and protected Powder; who could learn, maybe, to love and protect "Jinx," too?

And maybe—just maybe—Silco and Vi could learn to appreciate each other, for all their surface hatreds. Find mentorship, find balance again, in each other. And through it, Vi could learn that protection, responsibility, isn't the only quality to strive for. That even she can be nurtured again, too.

Something i'd like to point out

We can assume the final part of p2 of the canto was not only from heathcliff's perspective but dante's as well, considering we know they can look directly into their memories when resonating with them.

we did not get a new cg for carmen's appearance. This is something you could chalk up to time on the artist's part, and wanting to focus purely on "main" story cgs perhaps? But for this im gonna assume it was purposeful

For those who aren't aware or need a refresher, this CG is from ayin's perspective, from ayin's memory of laying with her in the grass in the past, in the first game

It was early morning, almost 6 am and the sun was just starting to make the room glow. As you open your eyes, you realize you’re not in your own bedroom. This realization startles you a bit and causes you to sit up rather quickly. Finally, you look over and see Vi laying on her back, hands tucked behind her head as she glances over at you. “Morning, sweetheart.” She was in a sports bra type of top and her cotton candy hair was a bit messy. You can’t help but struggle to catch your breath as you feel your stomach drop and your face become hot. You’d fallen asleep in a VI’s bed for the first time ever. “M-morning. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to fall asleep in here last night I just-“ You lose your voice suddenly as she turns towards you and slides her hand to the back of your head.

Before you know it, she’s pulling you in towards her as her eyes flutter shut. Oh god…is this it? Your first kiss?! Something in you makes you pull away slightly as your breath finally catches in your throat. Despite your slight pull, Vi continues to move closer and closer. You nearly choke as you try to muster up the courage to tell her what’s on your mind.

“Vi! Wait! Uhm…uh.” She pulls away and loosens her grip on you, her eyes opening to catch a glimpse of your shocked expression. “I…I’m sorry, (Y/N).” She looks away as if she’s ashamed of what she just did, she doesn’t want you to feel pressured to do anything you don’t want to. “No no, it’s fine. I just…” She watches you closely, her mouth just barely hanging open. “Honestly…I’ve never kissed anyone before. I’ve never even dated anyone before you and I…I-I-“ Your train of thought has officially derailed, you’re just so close to her face and you’re still half asleep, your brain isn’t functioning correctly at the moment.

You decide to end your awkward suffering by quickly scurrying back to your own room and hiding from Vi for the next week, but as you try to stand from the bed, Vi grabs your arm firmly. As you turn to look at her, she loosens her hand on you but gently tugs at your arm. “Hey, don’t go. Finish what you want to say.” You’re hesitant to slump back into her bed but eventually you do, with bright red cheeks and avoidant eyes. You open your mouth to continue but the courage you felt a second ago is now long gone and only a soft whisper comes out before you divert your gaze from her. Vi decides to speak up instead.

“Well um…You’re uh…not my first kiss but you are my first serious relationship so I’m kinda new to this, too.” She pauses and lets out a frustrated sigh. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have tried anything, I just…I don’t wanna sound like a creep but I was watching you sleep for the last 20 minutes and you’re really fucking hot and you’re so kind and interesting and GOD you make me feel all giddy and excited and…like I have something to look forward to.” After her short ramble, she watches for your response with a small smile on her face.

“Well then…you can try to kiss me again if you want. Promise I won’t pull away this time.” Vi grins and let’s out a soft chuckle before she slowly leans in and presses her lips to yours, officiating your first kiss ❤️‍🔥

JINX 🦋

Jinx was bored, having no orders from Silco and nothing really major going on with her inventions and gadgets. She was having a sort of writer’s block but with chaos and fun. In response, she just had to come find you and bother you a bit for her own entertainment. Jinx scurries around to find you and she finally does, sitting on your bed fiddling with something. She silently sneaks up behind you then shouts as she grabs your shoulders. This causes you to jolt in your spot and let out a startled yelp which makes Jinx burst into laughter.

“Woo! That was a good one, I got you so good!” You smile and let out a nervous laugh as you relax your body again. You look back to see her sprawled out in the bed behind you, smiling so big. “You’re a jerk.” She just continues to laugh in reply. “What do you even want? Can’t you see I’m busy here.” Your tone was harsh but you’re having trouble holding back your smile and you just can’t fool Jinx. “Mmmmhhhmmm I see that smile, you’re not really mad at me.” Jinx slithers her way across the bed so fast it makes your head spin and suddenly, now she’s standing right in front of you and you have no way of hiding your face from her. You bite your lip and try to force the smile back and the look on your face gives Jinx an idea.

Jinx reached out to touch you and everything suddenly felt so unreal, like a dream or something. Her cold, thin fingers gently graze your cheek as she gives you a very convincing guilty puppy dog look, sticking her bottom lip out in a pout. Your smile has turned into a open mouth, wanting to speak but not sure what to say. She’s never touched you this way and her face has never been this close to yours. You don’t notice at first but you’re holding your breath, waiting to see where this is going.

“You’re not…really mad at me…right, (Y/N)?” Her voice is so soft compared to her normal volume and she really is a great actress, you’re not sure if this is real or not. Your voice begins with a squeak so you clear your throat and then finally respond. “N-no.” She moves closer, her eyes looking back and forth between your eyes and your lips, and you can feel her breath ever so slightly on your face. “Promise?” And all you can do is nod in reply. “Then show me you’re not mad at me…with a kiss.” She lets out a sweet giggle at the face you’re making then leans forward, her bright blue eyes closing slowly as you lean away. Suddenly, you catch your breath and now you’re panting and panicking.

“Jinx! Jinx, wait!” She pulls back, eyes wide as she watches you. “You… don’t want to kiss me?” Now you’re sure her sad expression is real. “No, I do but I uh…I-I’ve never…kissed anyone before though.” You look away from her and try to stand, wanting to get out of this excruciatingly embarrassing situation but before you can get to your feet, Jinx is smiling bigger than ever and she reaches out to hold your face in her hands again. She essentially pulls you back down by your blushing cheeks.

“OH MY GOD, YOU’RE SUCH A LITTLE VIRGIN!!! YOU’RE SO PRECIOUS!” She’s practically screaming as she pulls your face close to hers and gently touches the tip of her nose to yours. This makes you chuckle softly at how funny she is but you’re still nervous. “Sorry, I uh…I don’t really know how to-“ Jinx interrupts you by gently pressing a very soft and very quick kiss to your parted lips, literally making your heart stop. “There! Now you’ve kissed someone. The “first time” thing is soooo overrated. Nooowwww…I can teach you the good stuff.” She winks at you then bites her lip nervously. “If you want, I mean!”

She’s not trying to pressure you, she’s just over enthusiastic about kissing you for the first time and she wants more, but she also cares about you and your boundaries. So she watches your face as you think about it, her cheeks just barely pink with want for you.

“Okay fine, but no tongue.” “Awww what?! That’s the best part, (Y/N)!” “Ew, you’re so gross!”

And then you proceed to share lots of soft, small kisses with NO TONGUE and you two can’t stop laughing and smiling against each others’ lips.
