Hiring a guide is mandatory for Annapurna Base Camp Trek these days. The government made a rule to not allow trekking without a guide, even with a group. Mohare Dada (also written as Danda) Trek is a short and concluded as an easy trek and also less-crowded hiking trails in Annapurna Region of Nepal. It is located in the western part of Pokhara City and very close to Ghorepani Poon Hill. This Mohare Danda Trek is known as Eco Community Lodge Trek or Rhododendron Trek because this trekking route lodge is entirely operated by the local community and the beautiful trekking trail goes through into the Rhododendron Forest. Mohare Dada viewpoint is an alternative viewpoint of Poon Hill viewpoints.

Manaslu Circuit trek is an alternative trekking route of Annapurna Circuit Trek, but it is a restricted area as per the rule and regulations of the Nepal Government. So, it is not allowed to trek in the Manaslu Region without a guide. Therefore, the government has made it compulsory to have a guide for Manaslu Circuit Trek and that you must hire a guide and have at least two members in your Trekking Group, excluding the guide to issue the trekking permits for the Manaslu trek. That is why, you must hire a guide for the Manaslu Circuit Trek. The hiring guide must be with trekking licensed from the Nepal government.

Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek is a popular trekking destination in Manaslu Region. It is a more remote and outstanding place with a rough steep trail and Tea-houses accommodation. It is culturally attractive with a tough trail continuing to Tsum Valley and Tibet border. Manaslu trek was officially opened for trekkers in 1991 and the Tsum Valley trek was opened in 2010 but the mountain expedition has long access to this area.

The Nar Phu Valley Trek is located in the lost valley of Manang District. It is a newly opened trekking destination for all foreigners' trekkers and still remains a relatively less trekked area in the Annapurna Region of Nepal.
