Hello it's me again, if you have time, can you write headcanon and maybe a little how the story goes about, Genshin Men can you add Cyno N Heizou please? with a S/o when is sad and not because of them they will cover up their face full mask with a " :)" smiley face on it, because they don't want anyone to see them sad/frown/or cry because they are embarrassed and don't want burden anyone.
And also they s/o when is feeling down, they don't how to handle physical touch anymore. They feel a little uncomfy because she doesn't anyone to see her cry, so basically I want fluff and aftercare in this.
Thank you<3
If this sounds details and personal? Because it is personal...it's one of my hidden feelings I want to know how Genshin male will take care of this.
-🍩🐈
Hello! I always got time don't worry, sorry this took a bit to write, but I wanted to make sure it was perfect. I hope you enjoy and your day/night is going better <3

{༻~Bottled up~༺}
CW: Reader hides their feelings because they don't want to be a burden, slightly angsty but also fluffy and comforting in the end.
(Includes: Heizou, and Cyno!)
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
𑁍༄Heizou:
You held your legs close to your chest as hot tears streamed down your face in burning thin lines, staining your mask with your sadness and leaving you feeling...alone. Even with the smile pinned snug against your face, happiness seemed so far out of reach...and it felt like even if you somehow managed to ask someone for help, you'd just be adding to their burdens...annoying them with your issues.
You flinched as the door cracked opened slowly, letting light pour in from it...and causing the hold on yourself to tighten..even more so when someone walked in to the room and sat down beside you. In truth you already knew what he was going to say, you knew he was there for you and you wanted to talk to him, you wanted him to embrace you but...it all felt so...difficult.
Heizou sighed quietly, rubbing circles into your skin with his thumb...giving you the smallest amount of physical comfort he could, he just... wanted you to know it was okay, that you were safe with him. "I won't force you to talk to me...I've seen how hard it is for you and I don't want to make it worse by pressuring you...but please you don't have to hide your feelings from me. I love you and taking care of you is in no way a burden to me, I enjoy helping you...and I want to if you'll let me..."
You looked at him with uncertainty in your eyes... your nose sniffling as he opened his arms for you and smiled sweetly, looking so inviting...and yet scary at the same time, but you just...couldn't resist it anymore. You moved in closer to him, more warm tears escaping you...but now you weren't alone...he was there and he always would be.
𑁍༄Cyno:
Cyno sat across from you, his hands holding yours so gently...in hopes that he wouldn't make you uncomfortable. In reality he wanted nothing more than to help you...to tell you the mask was unnecessary...explain there was no reason to hide your sadness from him, but he knew it wasn't that easy...especially for you. No, those were long term goals...right now he just needed you to know you were something he cherished and that your pain wasn't something he thought of as tedious...but rather something he wanted so desperately to help you with. He absolutely needed you to know that.
"I don't take your sadness lightly....I just want you to know you can come to me and I'll never turn you away. I want to help you understand that it's okay to rely on me and that it's not embarrassing to feel something...I want you to know how much I love you..and how happy it would make me to be the person you confide in." His voice was soft...and his words sparked something in your heart, something you really didn't know how to handle yet.
But it was enough...and even though you were scared, you were enjoying his presence...and you wanted to talk to him. "I-i love you too."
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

You know something that bothers me is that all the Angel Hare coverage videos use the same format as the full horror series. It's not that. It's an analog emotional story. Not saying others aren't. But something in me is saddened to see thumbnails painting Gabby as a villian or painting Jonah's actions as psychotic to excuse if that's not what I should say.
It's not really a traditional horror analog. It uses the language of it, but it's more.
It's one of the first series I've seen using religion without demonizing it.
I hope it's not too controversial to say that I really appreciate how they didn't just go religion bad with it.
It's a scary and suspenseful thing.
But it's not a straight horror like Mandella or like Liminal Land.
It's more like Walten Files, in the sense of the very personal story held together closely.
Angel Hare is both a horror series and a series about healing. It's about a man who accidentally hurts his friend with his obsession, and has to try and help her. It's about dealing with childhood trauma and having someone there for you, even if it doesn't feel like you did. Its about how you should try to talk, but sometimes you just can't avoid a violent confrontation and that's something you need to know. It's a last resort but it is still a resort. It's about angels trying to help children with their lives. It's about giving someone hope.
Hope is something most analog series use to be taken away from you. The horror of hopelessness. Angel Hare shows you it's still there. It tries to give you hope, hope in the characters and yourself.
It's just...sad to see people paint it as something so similar to other series. Maybe it's for marketing, but it's about recovery at times.
You can always hope. Always believe that you aren't lost forever.

Hello! How are you ? Just one question! who do you think will die in the upcoming chapters of blue exorcist ? do you think anyone will die at all?
Hello anon! You're lucky because I'm having a nice easy week so I get to respond to you on the same day! (how rare)
Thank you for the question. I have seen this one come up recently within the fandom, especially with the manga ramping up for what seems to be a climax arc, but I never really had a solid answer for it. Kazue Kato is a master at misdirection and subverting expectations. She'd raise a death flag on purpose just for the lolz -u-"""
Personally, I don't see any of the main crew getting picked off, but then again, I didn't think Demon King! Rin was actually going to show up in his sweat pants so like... I'm just as scared as everyone else is.
I do think there will be some deaths though! And I'm hoping to see a few revives as well.
Spoiler warning for latest chapters under the cut
So from theories I've seen going around:
Renzou Shima has had major death flags on him for a while. This is probably just Kato trolling us though. I don't see any benefit coming out of his death anyways (snore) just kidding I love Renzou please don't die
Shiemi has said things that raised major death flags in the latest chapters, however, she's also under the protection of the Protagonist's Favored One's Halo, so unless Kato is a true masochist, I don't see her staying dead if worst comes to worst
Bon, probably also Kato's troll. Konekomaru is protected by the Cat Name Haver's Halo.
Izumo is in too much of a dire need for a glow-up to die.
Yukio is... cursed by the Protagonist's Favored One's Halo. Or at least he was but Rin feels a bit distracted lately. He'll live, but at What Cost? Couldn't say (probably a lot).
The Adults: Neuhaus is probably going to die. Shura might come close, but she'll hang in there so she can attend Rin's graduation. Lucy Yang might die. Lewin is favored by the author so I hope that means he's safe. Angel is not favored by the author so I really don't want to think about what's going to happen to him. Osceola better not die bc I need Rin to become his apprentice. Shiemi's mom is close to dying but I really hope she doesn't.
The Demons: I don't care either way so I never really thought about it (sorry demon lovers). If anything, it's more likely that we'll see demons that have crystalized, revive (Azazel, Armumahael, Shemihaza, Satan).
Also on a similar note, the demon eaters plot point was never fully resolved. Todou "died" off screen so unless Kato totally forgot about him, he's due for a comeback.
It's also interesting that Paku and Godaiin were focused on in the glimpse into the future. Nemu Takara also stayed back and is presumably still alive in that future, and those 3 from the kid's table still need to come back into the story. I doubt any of them will die ;w; that'd be too sad.
Jeremiah might die.
Dragulescu (??? idk how to spell his name) better die.
Other Illuminati: uhhh maybe the Lundstroms? I like Homare and I think she'll have something to do with Lucifer changing his mind about things. Lucifer isn't the main villain anyways so he's probably safe.
Rin... I don't think he'll be the same at the end of the manga, so to me, that counts as dying. Rin and Demon!Rin still haven't resolved their differences. Rin will have to choose a side, or face being forever unstable. But choosing will change him. Right now, he's living as 2 alter-egos/split personality. We've never seen him truly whole, and from the glimpses we have seen, he's kind of scary.
tl;dr Might die: Neuhaus, Shima, Lucy, Jeremiah, Dragulescu, Todou round 2, Rin (kinda)

So... I've finally watched the new Trigun and I'm completely swept off my feet! It's so beautiful, and incredible, and I like the new character designs (though I'm a bit sad that they decided to put Milly aside. I like Roberto and I love to see his "grampy dad" dynamic with Vash and Meryl but why can't we have +1 character instead of "that one or this one") and I have SO MUCH hope for this show...
Tumblr media
Anyway, it made me think how different from each other all parts of the franchise are:
1. OG Trigun anime. "The First One" for many, for some of whom it's always will be The Best One.
Tumblr media
In comparison with other variants of Trigun, the old anime feels the most like a goofy "classic" tale, with a bit of melancholic vibes. Yeah, it still has its share of sad moments but mostly the corners are smoothed. With 60% of the story being filler, it generally has more light hearted tone than the original manga. Also, the characters of the anime are much closer to the... I wouldn't say "ideal", but more like "archetypal" versions of themselves. Rem was a downright angel, July's destruction didn't kill anyone (although people still fought and killed each other afterwards), the philosophical question about kill not to kill is answered with "put a bullet through each of his limbs until he can't move and hope for the best" (ok, it was a strange one. But I'm still baffled with what Vash's plan was afterwards). What's more important, Vash's ideals, while are hard to reach, don't feel impossible.
2. Manga.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Oooo, I love this one. After the old anime, I totally wasn't prepared to how much more raw, brutal and unhinged the manga is. People who ask for FMA: Brotherhood treatment for the manga seemingly forget that such an anime would have to be shown only veeery late in the night, with the "for adults only" disclaimer.
At the same time, I find the raw, honest energy of the manga absolutely beautiful and love it much, much more than the old anime because of how down-to-Earth characters are there. They may not to be ideal, but they're undoubtedly, 100% human.
Tumblr media
Yeah, it's Rem, after her symbolic "the ticket to the future" dream.
And Knives. So much more about Knives, his motivation and determination. And unlike the anime version, where he, being the odd one from the beginning and a bit of philosophical soul, took the problem of spiders and butterflies just too far, the manga version clearly shows that it's not really about good and bad ones. It's about how, after an excessive trauma, Knives' mind went to shit and never fully returned. He was more sensitive than Vash, and more open to dialogue with humans but, when cutting wood, it's a surgical scalpel that breaks first, not a kitchen knife.
Tumblr media
Manga Knives doesn't just make scary faces. He sincerely asks his sisters to lend him their powers and, while the level of plant's self-conciousness is arguable, I think it's won't be so far fetched to say that they do care about him.
Tumblr media
Aaah, yeah, manga's nice little body horror...
Also, manga is much more merciless towards Vash's pacifism. While anime says "yeah, it's hard, but if you try enough you can reach it", the manga is more about "It's impossible and everyone, including you, know that. But it doesn't means that you should stop trying, because even it's impossible, it's still the path you chose for yourself". And I think that this message is much stronger and more important.
3. Trigun Stampede.
Tumblr media
Well, it's really a dark horse, isn't it? With so many controversy about changes in characters's design, story and everything. But from what I've seen so far, I can say that, while reboot doesn't try to repeat the original - original manga, not the old anime - word to word, it stays completely in tune to its main message and Vash's emotional journey, and it's the most important thing to me. And again, it's so incredibly beautiful and well made, and I really have so much hopes for it. My only fear is that there won't be a second season announcement because there is no way that they will be able to contain everything into merely 12 episodes.
Well, we'll see. Until that, Love&Peace, everyone!

idk if you were being specific but i wanna hear about that thing you like
thank you so much for asking omg 😭🫶🏽 (if you listen closely you can hear me giggleing excitedly in the distance)
okay so the thing i really like is OG Keemo, a german rapper and idk if you like rap or know german but his music is so fucking good he's genuinely my favourite artist and my best friend was the one to introduce me to his music
a lot of his songs mention what it's like growing up black in germany which is such a huge comfort to me. most white germans are really unwilling to acknowledge that we have a racism problem here since "it's not as bad as in the US" and most of the media that i've seen that does talk about the experience of being black isn't german so there are some differences. having music that specifically talks about the black german experience is so amazing and his songs are so so so good.
listening to his albums genuinely feels like sitting through a musical because they tell a story, share the same themes and the songs sort of transition into each other (Funkvater Frank makes most of Keemo's beats and he does such a fantastic job).
his most recent album Mann Beisst Hund (engl. "man bites dog") is about three teenage boys who live on the same block and philosophize about wether a pre-determined fate exists or if humans are actually free to choose their role in life and go their own path, all while talking about mistakes, regrets and drifting apart. the album also has two short audio skits where you can hear the boys talk about their theories about fate and they really add to the immersion. it's rare for me to listen to whole albums uninterrupted, i usually do one inital listening and then jump through albums to only listen to the songs i like but with Mann Beisst Hund i listen to it from start to finish EVERY TIME
in his song 216 from his album Geist (engl. "ghost") he talks about racial profiling and police brutality and it's already amazing as is but he did an orchestra mashup with Jorja Smith snd her song Blue Lights and it's so heartbreakingly beautiful. the orchestra perfectly captures how unsettleing and scary the topic is. it almost sounds like the soundtrack to a horror movie. that paired with how hopeful and sad Blue Lights sounds makes it so perfect.
i know it's probably not as impactful when you don't know german but if you have the time i'd definitely recommend listening to it!!
youtube
okay this got a lot longer than i planned but i just genuinely love his music and one day i'm gonna analyse his songs the way we learned to analyse poetry in my german class lol

I hope you see this as a positive ask but I remember you saying you were surprised at mdimileth being popular, and I’m saying this mostly from a JPN perspective…but it really is? And I’m surprised to see others are surprised about it. The common thread between most shippers is that even though they’re both powerful men, one is highly repressed, awkward, but very noble and kind and also very tortured and sad, and the other man is awkward but quiet, repressed but in a different way, and unsure of how to act. It’s very different from what the developers intended I think! We like that they both learn how to act together and how to find their footing. They come together to help the land and fight the empire. One is the Ashen Demon who finds his heart after he meets people he comes to cherish and protect, the other the One Eyed Demon who finds his heart after he almost lost it to despair. A lot of us are also Blue Lions fans so I don’t know where this accusation comes from that says we exclude the rest of the lions for Byleth (my second pair is sylvix and my third is Mercedes with Dedue).
I had to look up English fan dictionaries for this but it’s also because one is big but kind but also repressed and he can tame a man who was scary and feared for being a demon but if you think about it, he’s actually submissive and breedable and almost like a twink. You can call me a fujoshi, but apparently that’s a bad word here? I’m not sure. I think another way to describe what we like is if you take Beauty and the Beast but apply it straight and reversed to both men at the same time. I’m sorry. I’m getting ahead of myself! I hope this explains our tastes well enough!
I hope you see this as a positive ask but I remember you saying you were surprised at mdimileth being popular, and I’m saying this mostly from a JPN perspective…but it really is?
I can't speak for others but... It sort of is to me. It's not a surprise that the ship exists, but I guess I'm surprised it's popular? Most shipping I've seen with Dimitri is with Femyleth since that's actually possible in the game, and Dimitri's other popular male ships are just with others, like Felix. I guess I always felt that the Male Byleth ship is simply just lost in the wave of others ships, especially since it's not possible to obtain. Say what you will about Dimitri's ending with Felix, it's still a possible ending one can achieve, while if you play with Manyleth then you are locked out with any ending with Dimitri entirely.
Don't get me wrong- I love Dimitri with Manyleth. I view Dimitri as a queer man, even if it's not intentional. I am not someone who just stamps queer onto any character I like either, I need either text or subtext to back this up. Without it, it just feels like I'm lying to myself. And since I feel Dimitri has adequate subtext, I feel that he should have been a male option for Manyleth and it doesn't make much sense that he isn't. Dimitri is pretty cute with Byleth period, and treats Byleth the same no matter what gender you choose. It would be odd to me that it only becomes romantic if it's a woman he talks to, when he's literally saying the exact same thing to the male one as well.
You can call me a fujoshi, but apparently that’s a bad word here?
I'm not sure where "here" is. Japan? Western fandoms? Well, in the West, it's not really a negative word. But I think most fujoshi's keep their tastes close to their chests. There is definitely a stigma against them, that they fetishize men and are unable to view male friendships without instantly shipping them. Which is so funny to me personally- I am asexual, but I love romantic stories about two men. I don't even care about the sex, I find something appealing about a two men being vulnerable to each other in a way that my culture is only recently opening itself up to.
I also find it funny because literally just the other day, I was chatting with a friend of mine and made a joke that Durin and Elrond from that terrible Rings of Power show seem more like an old married couple than the actual romantic pairings in the show at the moment. I don't actually ship them and honestly there isn't much subtext there, it's just the writing is so bad that they are the rare-pair actual interesting group of characters. My much older friend, who is NOT a fujoshi in any capacity at all, then made a comment how Sam and Frodo should have just kissed. She's clearly not fetishizing them at all, and is 100% capable of viewing male friendships as just friendships. Yet, she felt that Sam and Frodo were maybe a little more than friends, if you catch my meaning.
Sometimes, a chemistry is there, whether the writers intended it or not.
Anyways, point is- While I don't think fujoshi's are viewed negatively (especially since the West has been more and more open to queer relationships), it's still a private thing unless done over a blog where you can be faceless. That's my own experience though. Most of my friends in rl don't know I like mlm ships, save for two friends who are the same way. But in this regard, I tend to live in a bubble, so maybe someone else could educate me if I'm wrong.
There are definitely spaces where fujoshi are made fun of and ridiculed (like 4chan) but I don't even think most Western fans even know the term. It's becoming pretty common place to have queer ships just in general, especially in fandom spaces...
I’m sorry. I’m getting ahead of myself! I hope this explains our tastes well enough!
Don't apologize! My tastes are not much different than yours and I get the appeal.
It's just that since Manlyeth/Dimitri is not possible, I just figured it wasn't popular in Japan all that much. I was sure it had a following, but not a HUGE following, if you get my meaning. Especially since Femyleth seems disproportionally more popular just... in general.

I thought up this after you and 🦊 anon talked about how hard it is to make a villains backstory and how it effects the fear factor. I hope this is ok to add (I don't want to take either of your guys' spotlight, I'm just trying to add to it.)
It can honestly be pretty difficult when you add layers to a character, regardless if they are a villain or a hero or an average Joe. You have to consider each layer and do your best to make sure none of the building up you have gets lost in the end, and also make sure it's not the core focus on the big screen/story.
When you give a villain a tragic backstory, it implies that you can negotiate with them and they'll listen if you play your cards right, and that removes some, if not all, the fear because now you know you could potentially survive. A villain that didn't have a tragic backstory, or at least only follows his own morals, is scarier because the only way you could survive that is if you fight physically instead of diplomatically. And since in general humans try to avoid confrontation as much as possible (for the most part), this is more frightening then if you had a chance with the tragic villain.
In the end, it all really depends on the character and whether or not it's necessary to show their backstory. Either it is necassary and part of the whole story and not just their own, if you show too much it could potentially ruin or derail the story and/or character, and it is completely unnecassary. A few examples I thought of were:
Jason, as you stated before, would fall in the first category. His backstory shows us why that specific camp is being targeted, why this huge undead guy is walking around killing seemingly innocent people, and why his mother and him have pretty much gone cuckoo. It, along with that scene of him holding the teddy bear of his childhood (I haven't seen any of the films, but I saw a picture of him doing that on Tumblr, it was like in his old home? Maybe that was just an extra and not a real scene of the movie? I'm not sure), shows us that he does show emotion and isn't mindless, which for us not only means his story will impact us even more since it makes it much sadder, but it also shows he isn't just brainlessly killing the camp counselors, he is feeling rightfully wrong and, with his mother's guidance who also was wronged, is willing to take it out on others, and that part of backstory can make him even more scary. That is how he can be scary and sad; you can still negotiate him, but it would take alot on your part.
Tiffany Valentine would fall in the second category (from what I've seen. Idk if more of her backstory was revealed in the series, I'm just going off of what I've noticed in Bride and Seed. I'll try to keep spoilers of Bride out since I'm not sure if you've seen it yet). We can see that even though she's a viscious and apathetic killer, she still longs to find love, get married and start a family, abd how much she loves her mother with how she quotes her alot and tries to follow her advice as best as she can. Not only that, but we see her trying to cut back on killing for her child Glen (they didn't know about Glenda at that point so I'm gonna exclude her on that). However, when you think about it, we don't know her backstory. We know she's Chucky's lover, and she respects her mother, and she's a killer, but what else do we know that we don't see on screen? We do know see that Tiffany has lost some marbles of her own, as seen when she kills the nanny in Seed for calling Glenda a devil child. We also see that she genuinely enjoys killing and doesn't care for those she doesn't love throughout the franchise. It makes us wonder how and when did she become this monster? Was it before or after meeting Chucky? Why is she so obsessed with having her perfect family? Was it because of her own childhood? All these questions make us lose the upper hand in diplomacy since for all we know, nothing happened and she's just bat shit crazy, or she doesn't care about what happened in her backstory and won't be trapped into whatever emotional traps we can set up for her. We may be able to use her children against her, but look at what she did to the nanny for simply wanting to quit.
And now, for the third category, I'll go with the Driller Killer I know you don't know him, but hear me out. In the movie, the only backstory we get on him is that he came from the girl's head, and even then that's questionable. We don't know how or why he became a killer, we don't know what his life prior to the movie was, assuming he even had a life. Hell, we don't know if he's even human. All we get are the clues in his personality, and even then for all we know it's just a facade (I doubt it, but again, we don't even know what he is, who knows if he's secretly a mastermind?). That's how he's scary because we simply do not know, and the closest to negotiation we have on him is dream sex, and even then for all we know he'll just kill us anyway, not to mention that not alot of people would would be willing to negotiate with their bodies (not that i blame them). We can't even run away since he'll always find you no matter where you are (the final girl was locked up in what I'm guessing is an asylum at the end of the movie, and we see the Diller killer drilling into her room through the floor). To put it simply: you're fucked no matter what you do.
However, there is a way to balance it out, and not just by revealing too much. It's why I like your Slasher Edward so much: he was actually wronged by a girl, and we do sympathize with that, but he's made it clear that at this point he's just using it as an excuse to do what he's probably fantasized about doing before. It can be nigh impossible to change someone- I'm not talking about flaws or quirks, I'm talking about who they truly are deep down, so the fact that he's going this extreme implies that he was already a killer in the making, that girl just so happened to be the final push and his excuse. Hell I'm willing to bet fifty bucks that he's the kind that goes "BuT i'M a GoOd PeRsOn DeEp DoWn! 🥺". Yeah Eddie, if you were really a good person, why are you making these girls that have nothing to do with your or so tragic backstory suffer?
(Please note: there is a difference between fantazing about something harmful and putting it into action. I'm certain we've all wished we could smack a rude person or harm a bad person in out lives. But whether or not you act it out and your emotions about it afterward show whether or not you really are a good person. Psychology is extremely complicated, and I'm not saying that if you think anything bad that makes you a bad person, I'm just explaining my theory on the psychology of how a tragic backstory can make a villain less scary and how balancing it out works.)
So, that's my thoughts. I kind of went a bit overboard I suppose 😅 but what do you guys think? Do you have more to add to this or your own opinion on why tragedy is less scary?
Oh no no, you are always MORE then welcome to add your thoughts! This is AMAZING!! You wrote a whole essay!! Top marks, too, because its entertaining, well written and REALLY REALLY INTERESTING XD Boy, you're so smart. I absolutely don't mind receiving this, this is really really amazing and I'm sure Fox Emoji Anon agrees!!! ^^
Okay okay- so- I had to take a moment to let everything here sink in and then read it again XD First of all- that last paragraph- I tooootally agree. There is a GIGANTIC difference between thinking something and doing something. You're not a bad person for the things you think- just don't go letting them fester inside you until you carry them out in real life- like most villains do.
Absolutely agree on your takes!! Especially Edward- you're making me actually really wanna build on him 😅 I think he always had the seed of evil and disgust in him- it just took the woman he feels that he's been wronged by to give him that 'excuse' to snap and be a 'hero' by hurting people like her. With the backstory, I was thinking though that it wouldn't really be revealed per say?- it would just be referenced (Either by the two old guys or by Ed himself) that 'one day some girl didn't want him back i suppose' or 'I've been spurned before and you can thank her for what's about to be done to you', and as an audience member you'd sorta gather more of an idea about why he is the way is by the way he acts, reacts to and treats other women in the story.
This way I think audiences have enough to go on about him that they can make their own theories as to what happened and his fucked up psychology- it would put you in his head. Which is also I think why villains with a certain amount of backstory (Like a said with Freddy- only that first bit) are interesting and still quite scary actually. It makes you think more about it and wonder why that made them be this way and then you're in a sicko's head and its terrible but also fascinating.
But yeah, audiences would have enough to be disgusted by Ed- but not enough to take the anonymity away. Like you said at the start, we'd have little enough on him that you wouldn't have a clue how to, uh, talk it through with him? The diplomacy option you outlined would be null and void with him. Because you don't know the root of the story, the key elements that force him to commit the atrocities he does. He would sorta fit into the category Tiffany is in.
I hope that all makes sense??? Haha XD 😅 Also- I would love to see the Driller Killer drilling up from the floor, that sounds hilarious and a great ending to the movie XD Might have to watch, now!! And THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR THOUGHTS!! They are amazing and so intriguing and really really intelligent!!!
Fox Emoji Anon! Do you have anymore thoughts on the subject? You may be going to sleep soon I know- but the talking stick is all yours now if you want it! XD Or even later ^^

I'm sorry if me saying that you only read fanon depictions somehow hurt your feelings. You post for some reason came up on my feed and I saw you saying you don't read HP (the books) while I've seen you do analysis on HP mostly just hating on characters??? That just made me sad like you keep bashing characters without knowing them???? That was why sent you the ask. Since, why hate on things you don't know about? But yes, I know I sounded rude back then so I'd like to apologize for that. And
You're right, I'm sorry if I sounded rude in my last two asks (I was talking about Hermione), you should be allowed to dislike whoever you want to want to. But you have to understand, this is a story about kids going through actual wars. They literally had a giant snake trying to kill them last year and your Draco laughed at Hermione's face and hoped Hermione will be next? And also the jar thing was really inhumane but also they were kids and no ONE was actually helping them. At that point, Hermione did whatever she could to stop Rita from destroying THEIR lives. The kids literally had no one looking out for them, Harry NEARLY dies every year but does ANYONE really try to do anything about it? No. Also, Rita went out of her way to spy ON children, have you considered how horrific that sounds? Do you realize how scary it would be to have someone always spying at you, and you would be none the wiser and knowing everything about you? What Hermione did was utterly ruthless and the narrative? It didn't paint it as anything. Rather, it was left to the readers to interpret. So yes, what she did might have been utterly cruel but what Draco was doing before he chickened out after realizing what being death eater ensued was utter horrid as well. You are always ready to defend draco on every action but are always willing to put down others. They were all children in a war, and they were all fighting for their lives. If you hold them in the same regard as real world morals then I have nothing to say. That is just my two cents but other than that hope you have an amazing, I'm sorry I sounded condescending in anyway but I am a draco fan myself and I hate when fandom baby his bullying tendency. He was an asshole that's why he is a complex character. Hermione can be absolutely ruthless when it's in the name of justice and that doesn't mean that's right or good. It means she also flawed and can cruel as well. I hope you have a good day and please understand this isn't me trying to be mean to you but rather me disagreeing with some of your stance.
I thought about whether to delete these two anon asks but I don't like leaving matters unresolved. I'm like Hermione in that way. My post earlier today still applies to any more anon asks sent.
First, anon I get you are trying to be respectful but you are falling flat, unfortunately. If you respected my feelings, you would have honored my request to not engage me again. The very least you could do is come off anon so I could block you instead of having to wake up in the morning and see these.
Anyway, let me address each point line by line as I usually do.
I'm sorry if me saying that you only read fanon depictions somehow hurt your feelings.
What an insincere fake apology. What you should be apologizing for is lying. This statement is not true. Fanfiction is what brought me into HP but immediately I began learning about canon. As I have indicated SEVERAL times, I have read book snippets. I have watched/read hours worth of analyses and review content about the books. Including fan essays on world-building and characters. I have watched several movie clips. In college, I tried to watch the first movie but I was bored like 10 mins in. So that's why I can talk about HP on a high level but I can't comment on minute details which I state clearly when I get anon asks so I don't mislead people.
You post for some reason came up on my feed and I saw you saying you don't read HP (the books) while I've seen you do analysis on HP mostly just hating on characters??? That just made me sad like you keep bashing characters without knowing them???? That was why sent you the ask. Since, why hate on things you don't know about?
Tumblr sucks - I have had unwanted posts come on my feed sometimes. But do you know what I do when that happens? I ignore them. Or I modify my filters. Or I reblog it with my disagreement. Or I screenshot it and talk about it on my personal blog so I don't have to engage with the OP.
I certainly felt your sadness when you repeatedly came to my inbox and acted all high and mighty. When you said I give fanfic readers a bad name. When you asked if I was ok for a joke post I made. When you accused me of not knowing what I was talking about. Your first ask was not an ask but a scolding comment along the lines of 'You DON'T read the books but hate on the characters? WTF!!!'. How edifying.
I hope you have a good day and please understand this isn't me trying to be mean to you but rather me disagreeing with some of your stance.
If you truly wanted discourse, why not just reblog the posts you had an issue with and respectfully share your disagreement with me? At least then, I would know the full context of what you're coming at me with instead of making blanket statements. I am open to being corrected. I can be stubborn on some things but I am willing to learn.
It's actually funny. People like you who supposedly read the books spread misinformation as well in fandom. You claim to be a Draco fan and come to me saying Draco tried to kill Ron like Draco intended Ron as his target. Even as a newbie who never read one book snippet, I knew better.
Now moving on to the Draco vs Hermione parts.
I am going to ignore all the parts where you compare Draco and Hermione's sins. Because I already acknowledged my feelings on that how many times.
At that point, Hermione did whatever she could to stop Rita from destroying THEIR lives. The kids literally had no one looking out for them
I'm still lost as to why capturing Rita and taking her to the Aurors was not an option?? Harry may be disenfranchised but is Hermione? I thought Queen Hermione was smart? Does she need an adult to hold her hand to go to the police? When it comes down to it, this and the Marietta incident prove that Hermione cares more about revenge than justice. She enjoys hurting people.
Again, I am ok with characters doing bad things. My problem is when fandom glorifies it. And someone scolds me for not clapping like a seal as well. In that comment section, people painted Rita's kidnapping as a GOOD thing. She deserved worse they said! Instead of something terrible that a child felt forced to do. It's funny how every single annoying HP anon ask has been about Hermione. Like this overrated bitch is exempt from all criticism. As I told another anon: why do I need to bash Draco in the same post in order to bash Hermione?
That is just my two cents but other than that hope you have an amazing, I'm sorry I sounded condescending in anyway but I am a draco fan myself and I hate when fandom baby his bullying tendency. He was an asshole that's why he is a complex character.
Anon, I don't baby his bullying tendency. Here are some of the feelings I have expressed off the top of my head:
Draco should have been punished for using 'mudblood' at school.
Canon Draco > Fanon Draco. Fanon Draco is a mega victim and his horrible actions are waved away by abuse. Plus Fanon Draco is a gay soy boy.
Draco harasses the trio.
Snape enables his obnoxious behaviour.
I want Draco to have a meaningful redemption arc not based on a love interest (anti Drastoria).
I dislike Draco mocking Ron's poverty.
I can be defensive but at no point in my memory do I ever say Draco's bullying was ok. I may think some scenes are funny and entertaining but not ok.
Anyway, I have heard your stance. My mind has not changed. Please, just leave me alone. If my anti-posts make you that sad, then just block me. Or change your filters. If you were truly sincere, then I am sorry for my snarky tone. I know plain text can have misleading tones. I appreciate your apologies for what they are worth, now let's just move on.

I am currently in a VC, watching my partner game with his friends and just thinking, cause I don't have anything better to do
I checked up on some things I haven't in a while and it made me realize something
I have removed myself from friends before for a specific reason
They refused to move forward
They refused change
Still do
They don't seem to understand that recreating something that is impossible to is only going to make them more said
Yearning for better times is fine, normal
But refusing to turn towards the now, to move on, it's not
I have seen some messages that made me realize that
That this place became toxic for me not because they were bad people
But because I changed, moved forward, found my own path
Yet they refused to move
I realized that everything felt so much the same, because it was
From what I've seen while checking in, they only see two options, go back to the past, before change happened, to years ago or give up and suffer in the now
But they don't see that change, that moving forward is another option
Not an easy one, don't get me wrong
But it's the option they need
Not what they want, sure, but absolutely what they need
They made me realize how stuck to "better times" they are, even now
Better times being when most people didn't have certain responsibilities and had more time to hang out, which again is fine
But when they refuse to accept that time moves ahead, that their now is wasted in a past that will never return, that they'd rather be bitter that even just look ahead, that's not the best
I get it, the future is unknown, scary
Sometimes you wish to go back when you didn't know just how scary it can be
But we all must accept that it is impossible
And soon what is now will be the past, and that future is the now
And if you refuse to even look, you will slip, fall, sink ever deeper in the wishes of a time of stable ground
But you will never see it if you refuse to walk towards it
I feel sad, really
Not in a pity way
But more in a "I hoped they would mature and grow, as I did, as those did who moved on (and also away)"
It is also strange how everyone who moved forward eventually left those who didn't behind
They all talk less, or not at all
I think they all know, deep down, that when you surround yourself with people stuck in the past for too long, you will become stuck yourself
Or maybe they all are just busy
Who knows
All I know is, that this realization is as strange as the people there, stuck in a past that will never return
I should have seen that before too
There were times when I noticed they yearned to recreate something, a fun thing that most participated in, over and over, even after it didn't work, every iteration less effective than the last
Like they are trying to recreate glory days
They could have created other things, new things
When there were experiments for those, more people got involved, as it was new, refreshing, interesting
But all those got abandoned in favor of an attempt to recreate the original, the one that involved all
But it never did
It never will
As far as I can tell, only a few are involved anymore
Telling the same story again and again
Playing the same moves over and over again
Singing the same songs over and over again
Yet it all blends together, into something they have all experienced before
Even I have forgotten about the magic of the first by now
It's been done so many times now, and even more since I have last checked
As they refuse to move on
To a new story, a new melody, a new page, a new step
You'd think that with so much time passing, they would learn
Yet they do not
As far as I can tell, they tried to take a look, then refused to look again, even less willing to take a step
I'm not sure tho
I just know what I see
And watching them yearn for times that people know will never happen, it is a sad thing
They will forever remain in that state of yearning, a state of suffering
They do not see the good things in the now, the possibilities of the next step, only the joys of what is now just memories
It is truly a sad state to be in, not able to move forward
Because while moving forward hides pain, it also hides hope, opportunity, happiness and joy
Change most often isn't a bad thing, it's just new
And new is scary
At least until the new becomes the now, then the past
But by then there's new now to live through
Good or bad
I think it's better than an eternity of yearning and hopeless wishes
And to anyone who might come across this and is too afraid to move forward or maybe is just not willing:
Moving forward isn't your enemy
The now isn't here to hurt you
The future isn't coming to rip you apart
Time is flowing forward
Resisting it is just going to cause you more pain
Change is a part of life, for better or for worse, but it cannot be stopped, no matter how much you try
So just, let the river of time take you with it
Let go of the branch you're holding onto
The river is wild, yes
But it will bring you to where you need to be
It will help you go forward, find new worlds to explore, new adventures to go on, new friends to make
It is not a smooth walk in the park, don't get me wrong
You will be knocked around for a while
But the river slows, the water gets shallow
And as you float down the river of time
You will find your peace
Under a sky filled with stars made of your hopes and your dreams
Those might not be what they are now
But you won't be either
Because you grow
Because you change
Because you move forward

Under the Mask
Warnings: N/A
Pronouns/gender: Gn reader
Genre: Fluff
Summary: After becoming close friends with Shoji, you finally ask whats under the mask.
Characters: Shoji Mezo
WC: 677
A/N: This takes place after the dorms, in your first year. I hope guys like it, because Shoji deserves more love. Also I'm sorry if i misspell anything.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
You and Shoji have been friends since the beginning of the school year, and you would be lying if you said that you haven't wondered what was hiding beneath the mask. That being said, you wanted to respect Shoji's privacy. It wasn't until the school year was almost over and the two of you had grown very close that you even considered asking him to remove the mask.
The school day had ended and you walked over to Shoji's room to study. You knocked on the door and waited for a response before entering. "Come in" A deep voice replied. You turned the door handle to reveal the tall boy sitting down on the floor, reading a textbook. "What're you working on?" you asked. "English" "Ah I've been struggling with that, Present Mic talks way too fast". He snickered in response with one of his many tentacles.
You sat down beside him, setting down your backpack. "Shoji, could you help me with my English homework while you're at it?" "Sure l/n" "Fantastic!" you cheered.
About an hour passed before you were both done with your homework. Exhausted, you laid down on the hard floor. "Are you ok l/n?" "Yeah, just give me a minute". You couldn't stop the flood of thoughts about how hot you thought Shoji was when he was hunched over, helping you with your assignment. The thoughts eventually turned over to how you imagined he looked without his mask. He noticed you staring at his face, but decided not to comment. Mezo didn't mind attention when it was from you.
You were the first to break the silence, "Shoji?" "Yeah?" "I don't think you've ever told me why you wear that mask… Wait I'm so sorry that was rude" the panic in your voice grew stronger. He laughed, he couldn't admit how cute you were when you were so worried about offending him. You very suddenly sat up "Hey! are you laughing at me?" "Yes, I apologize, no one has ever been so concerned about offending me. I couldn't help my laughter". You let out a breath that you weren't aware that you were holding.
He decided to tell you the story from his past that made him choose to wear his mask. It was only when he finished the story that he noticed how sad you looked. "I'm sorry l/n, did that story upset you?" "You can't possibly be that scary Mezo! I bet you're beautiful under that mask!" you blurted out. Both of your faces started to heat up at the realization of what you had just said. You had never called him by his first name before.
"Y-you think I'm beautiful?" he stuttered out. You realized that this was finally the perfect chance to ask to see what was under the mask. "Well yes, but I haven't seen the whole thing yet" you smirked. You moved closer to him. "Can I?" you asked, while slowly moving your hands closer to his face. After contemplating for a second, he finally nodded.
You rested your hands on his face before pulling down his mask, his face felt hot. By the time his mask was hanging around his neck, Shoji was waiting for you to scream or yell about how disgusting he was. Instead when he opened his eyes, he saw you staring in awe.
Your hands moved down to his elongated mouth, tracing your hands gently towards his jawline. "You're even more handsome than I could've ever imagined." "No I'm not" the white haired boy stated. Before he could get another word in, you moved your lips to his. It was only supposed to be a quick peck, but you felt one set of hands on your neck and another on your waist, pulling you in to deepen the kiss. You relished the moment before you finally had to pull away to catch your breath.
"Thank you" Mezo blushed. "So does this mean you'll go on a date with me on Saturday?" the beet red boy asked. "Of course Mezo".
A/N: AAAHH this is my first time writing fanfic, i really hope that you guys liked this

Can we have something where Barok has a child walk up to him and asks if he can help him find his mother? The child isn't scared of Barok because of the Reaper stories, just a little nervous because they're lost and "stranger danger" y'know. But they can tell that Barok is a good man, despite his serious looks, and they really need help.
Sometimes Death is Gentle.
Notes: Hiya, anon! Hope you enjoy your request!
Content Warnings: lost child; distress; angst
"Mama...? ... Mama! .... MAMA!!!"
No matter how they called, their mother did not emerge from the throngs of people at Covent Garden Market that day. The din of people chattering and bartering was heavy and their little voice barely seemed to register above it. They looked to and fro, at the face of every lady, but none of them had the face they hoped to see.
A cold, fearful feeling started to curl its claws around their stomach; tears welled up in their eyes and they began to sob. Where was their mama? Had she left without them? How would they get home? What if they never saw her again?
So many of the adults looked busy, and scary, they didn't feel that it would be okay to disturb them (or safe to do so). Only one person among the crowds seemed unoccupied: he was tall and dressed in a long black cloak; the young child was pretty sure they'd seen him in the paper one time, some article about 'The Reaper of the Old Bailey'.
They recalled their mother once saying that the 'Grim Reaper' was just another term for the 'Angel of Death' –– Angels were supposed to be good, right? Perhaps the big, sad-looking angel could help... they walked over and tugged on his cloak, "... Um... excuse me, mister..."
Barok glanced down, his expression nowhere near as severe as it would be had a tedious nobleman or dullard counsel bothered him, "... What is it, child?"
"... My... my mama is missing..." the child said, fresh tears beading in bloodshot eyes, "I cannot find her... please can you help me look for her?"
"...." the Reaper knelt down to get a better look at the youth, clearly they were in a state of desperate distress. He couldn't just leave them like this, not when this area was known for the unsavoury sorts who would abduct a child and put them into slavery, "Mmm, where did you last see your mother?"
The child pointed to a flower stall, "She was looking at the flowers, I got a little bored so I went to look in a shop window but when I looked up she had gone..."
"I see," Barok picked the child up and sat them on his forearm so that they had a better view of the throngs of tradespeople and customers, "And what was she wearing? Can you remember anything distinctive that she likes to put on? A bonnet perhaps or the colour of her dress?"
"Um..." the child looked thoughtful, trying to decide what might help to identify her, "Oh! She was wearing peonies in her hair today, because papa bought her some yesterday..."
Barok nodded, "Alright..." he took brisk steps into the crowd, which parted upon realising the Reaper was within their midst; the sight of him was enough to stun them to silence but to see him carrying a child in tow was utterly dumbfounding. He cast his gaze over the people, carefully sifting for the child's parent.
Suddenly, the young one gasped, "There! Oh there she is!" they pointed at a woman who was frantically looking around, clearly in distress, "MAMA!!!!" they waved, before leaping off the Reaper's arm and dashing over to her.
"Oh!!" their mother knelt down and gathered them up in her arms, "My darling one, there you are! I've been so worried!"
"Sorry mama," they whimpered, cuddling her tightly.
"Don't ever wander off again, do you hear me?" they nodded, before turning back toward the Reaper, "Thank you for helping me find my mama, mister!"
Barok simply offered a nod, while the mother looked at him in stunned awe –– had the Reaper of the Bailey truly aided her child? What a shocking, yet heartwarming, notion!

COBRA KAI S4 FULL REVIEW (OMFG!!!)
where to freaking start... what an absolute INSANE season that upped the game and stakes for so many characters. i'm going to keep doing this in bullet list form since i find it easier to express my thoughts that way and is easier to read. SPOILERS BELOW!!!
first off: terry silver and kreese and their crazy dynamic was so unexpected. i thought they were going to get along splendidly have work great together, but there was so much scary tension between them!! at first i thought kreese was the 'bad' one, and then they switched it around to silver being the maniac. absolutely brilliant and one of my favourite parts of this season.
on that note... kreese being somewhat redeemed?? what!? did not see that coming and i'm still on the fence if i like it or not. but it does elevate silver's character not going to lie.
johnny/daniel storyline this season however was one of my pet peeves of the season tho... it was just underwhelming and felt like they dragged out the same old rivalry stuff from previous seasons. and i did not like how they regressed daniel so much, and johnny was more of a knobhead than normal.
conclusion: kreese/silver > johnny/daniel in terms of story
the larussos overall were done dirty this season *except* anthony and amanda...
i've seen people hate on anthony but i loved his arc (that is not yet finished) and it's something fresh for the show as well as his story with kenny. it brought out a new side to daniel too and amanda.
unlike anthony i did NOT understand the motivation for sam to be such a bully this season... i'd actually like to even call her a bitch because that's what she was. i would've been alright with it i guess if it lasted half of the season but she remained unlikable until the end so you didn't even want her to win the all valley. bad season for her.
oh kenny, kenny, kennny <3 my precious son. no, robby's precious son! so sad to see how he had to be corrupted for robby to have clarity in his relationship with his dad and who he wanted to be. i really do hope tory or robby save kenny from silver...
honestly all the new character additions were great and did not feel forced at all! i did think devon would play a bigger part but maybe next season, there were a lot of storylines to keep up with. but she seems like a really cool girl.
TANNER'S ACTING WHEN HE RECONCILED WITH JOHNNY. my heart burst at that scene and even though i wish johnny had fought for his real son much more before this happened, i realize it's just not in his character and i did sense that getting robby back was one of his greatest wants this season, just nothing he expressed outwardly... *cue another emotional scene with drunk johnny and sad miguel*
MIGUEL MY POOR BOY! honestly, i knew it would come to this. i said that what johnny was doing was kind of replacing his son partly, and that it would strike back on both robby and miguel, because it was self serving. i really hope miguel and robby can bury the hatchet and that johnny will bring those two together.
can i also just say the heart attack i had when miguel suddenly hurt himself in the middle of the tournament..? i was like omfg not again....
TORY!!! an absolute mvp of the season. wonderful acting by peyton list, you could feel her anguish the whole season and us seeing more of her soft side didn't feel forced at all! i love the way she realized she was in such a rough position she had to mature, let go of grudges and let people in (amanda... robby...). and the fact that kreese was looking out for her was a nice surprise.
also happy she is the first all valley girls champion <3 it felt very predictable to make sam win, and it didn't feel like she earned it the way she was gloating about being the best the whole season and just being immature as well. you definitely rooted for tory more. i'm sad to see they had to make it tainted through silver cheating for her, but this show will add drama when it can so... and it does make it interesting how tory will approach silver about it next season....
i honestly hate kyler but since i was oddly rooting for the cobras this season he didn't annoy me as much?? like he wasn't an ass to kenny either? they really felt like a little dysfunctional family. robby as the dad, tory as mom, kyler as a weird uncle and kenny as the son lol.
kenny being shawn's brother!!! did not see that coming but i like it, it was convenient but flowed well with the story.
robby losing the final yet again and hawk of all people winning.... i don't know man. on one hand i didn't mind that robby lost because it was deeper for his arc that he felt bad about kenny, but i don't think a win was earned for hawk. at least it was unpredictable but i would've rather demetri won.
hawk didn't go through that much this season, not enough for me to really care. don't get me wrong i definitely like hawk/eli more now than ever before but... i'm just kind of over him and his insecurities? i would much rather they give demetri his own storyline than be half of the binary bros and hawk's side kick. he deserved it more.
also the demetri + yasmine scenes were too many, i'm not into them or her lol.
i thought moon getting back together with hawk was meh, a new girl would've been better for him or just no girl. i also didn't like the cheap LGBT rep with piper/moon just being a plot device.
on piper... really weird character.
anthony and kenny > nate and bert. sorry but those two annoy tf out of me...
i can't believe i've gotten this far and not mentioned the elephant in the room... ROBBY AND TORY. omg. i was actually hoping for more scenes but there were SO many parallel storylines that i understand the limit... but what they did with them was amazing. well-written, so much chemistry and wholesomeness. in my books the best CK pairing on the show (pls become official next szn okay?).
the whole prom episode... parts were good (mostly robby and tory) but i'm not gonna lie the fight scene in tuxes and dresses was so embarrassing ahahaha.
i am very happy they chose the route to make tory/robby be completely over their exes but have sam/miguel (who people thought were gonna be solid) be hesitant and jealous. that is usually normal for cheaters. but it's also a cool contrast.
i don't think sam and miguel are good for each other, they also don't have the somewhat chemistry they had in s1. miguel should get someone new and i would like to see sam single. she needs to find herself.
THE ADDITION OF KATA DEMONSTRATION IN THE TOURNAMENT WAS SO COOL. however carrie underwood made me cringe. lol
i think more playing witht eh johnny/sam and demetri/johnny dynamic was missed. but johnny already has "two sons" so i get they don't have time to add more to the mix lmao.
when johnny was lubing up miguel in oil and tried recruiting girls for his dojo at the football field and this girl said "I'm asexual" - I've never related more lmaoooo.
omg... i actually think that's it! i'm gonna have to rewatch this szn many times over, it's gonna be a pain to wait a year for the next... plz share your favourite moments of the season and opinions <3 i'd be happy to hear them!

okokokokok so I'm watching season 2 of the punisher and I legit do not think I can finish bc I Don't Like seeing this billy bc like. he should be getting help but they made him a bad guy and like yeah. they did it for the plot but BrOoOoO me no likey ugh
I won't lie, unhinged Billy fascinates me as a writer. He's so dramatic and chaotic too, like the heist scene and stuff and I love it. I love writing him that way too, it's really fun. Like as a fictional character, his mind is so interesting and hopping into that version of Billy is a trip.
But like on a real level, it was painful to watch and the whole thing with Krista made me so fucking pissed lmao
You guys know I have so many issues with canon and if you guys want me to get fully into it, I could make a whole ass essay length post about it with my thoughts 😂
But despite that, I was really kinda hoping for some kind of redemption arc, even just a little. But no.
Season 2 was weird for me because as someone on the way to becoming a clinical psychologist, season 2 Billy was really interesting and Ben played him so fucking good. Like holy shit. But it was uncomfortable to watch for me and so much of it pissed me off. Like the boy is riddled with trauma and shit and his fucking psychologist was taking advantage of him and stuff and I just... 😑
I'm gonna drop a bomb on you guys right now 'cause I don't think I've ever told you this...
I've never watched the last episode.
I know what happens and I've seen gifs and pictures and stuff but I couldn't ever bring myself to watch that episode because it made me so fucking sad knowing what happens. I spoiled the show for myself by accident which is how I found out what happens and then I was like nahhhh, I'm good.
I also don't know the full story, 'cause like I've only seen this on someone else's post once and I might be remembering this wrong, but Ben wasn't happy with Billy's original last line and either came up with or asked them to change it to what it ended up being. Like I said, I might be remembering this wrong and you guys are more into Ben than I am, I'm a Billy girl lmao, but like I'm sure it was something to do with alluding to him feeling some level of guilt? Just something small because the original line was that shit. Like I know I've seen that quote from an interview somewhere or something on someone's post.
I don't know what his last lines are cause I never watched it. I'm not sure I want to know honestly.
There's a lot of canon bullshit regarding Billy that really pisses me off which is why I prefer AU things and I've made my own version of Billy where he doesn't betray Frank and can actually get a happy ending.
The thing with media is, they often like to use mental illness and trauma for the villains. It makes them 'scarier', right? Oooh, the unhinged bad guy. And that's something that's always bugged me. As someone with serious mental health issues, someone with family who have very severe mental health issues and someone who wants to treat and help people with severe mental health issues, the media portrayal of these things are so harmful, especially to people with certain illnesses where there is already stigma surrounding it.
And I get it, they do it for the plot and all of that, but it's a trope that needs looking into more. Someone doing bad shit because of trauma or mental illness, someone who maybe doesn't really fully comprehend their actions or isn't in their right mind, is a lot less scary to me than a completely fine and mentally well person choosing to do the same things without a care.
Don't get me wrong, it can be interesting to watch these things and in some cases when done tastefully it can be done well. But more often than not, they just slap a bad guy with trauma or mental illness and that's just the reason for their actions.
Honestly, I'm going off on a tangent here. Like I said, I could make a huge ass post about my thoughts on Billy and the canon bullshit and another about this specific issue in the media. I'm gonna stop here because this post is long enough lmao
The short version of this is;
As a writer and future clinical psychologist, season 2 Billy fascinates me and I enjoy diving into his head (I explore it in my multi chap fic that's coming soon that I wrote with @blanchedelioncourt ) but on a fundamental level, it made me really uncomfortable and sad to watch someone who clearly needs help just get manipulated and not get the help they need. The treatment of him is just explained as 'oh well, he did really bad things so he doesn't deserve help' and I don't like that. I don't like that Dinah harasses him in the hospital, I don't like the way fucking Krista manipulates him. I don't like any of it. So while that version of Billy is interesting to me and being in his head and writing him fascinates me, the canon bullshit is painful to watch.

Do u have any creepy or scary stories irl at the hospital you work at?
Hmm no, not really creepy/scary per se.
I find most of the "scary" to just be sad tbh. The scary situations are usually bc someone is mentally ill. They lash out, be it verbally or physically, bc they are scared and don't know what's going on.
Others might be drug addicts and they can get violent bc they have insane withdrawal symptoms and aren't getting their fix.
Okay I just thought of a kind of funny story:
I was working in emergency registration at the time. (After the nurse triages the patient, they come to me and I verify the rest of their info i.e. insurance, contact info)
This guy came in escorted by paramedics and police for threats of violence. One of them came over to me and said, "don't even try talking to him, this is the scariest kid I've ever seen" so naturally I was like 😳 k bruh thanks for the heads up
But the other paramedic brought him over anyway whoops.
The patient kept saying edgy shit and it felt like he was trying to both scare and impress me the whole time.
I ask to verify his address and the one we had was old, but of course he comes out with a "Well you knowwww... *shrug* I kinda burned that one down" and like SMIRKED at me?
I promise I laughed.
I guess this dude was used to the kind of stuff he was saying to get a reaction and he likes scaring people? But it was just cringey edge lord vibes, like any fear I had was gone instantly. He was bigger than me, but just the way he carried himself all pompous and shit I was like, 🙄 I could take him. This incel looking mf ain't never taken a punch and it shows. Man just needs a hug from his father.
I have no idea why the big sexy paramedic was so scared, honestly.
I don't know any more about him, so I just hope he got the help he needed. But I think about it a lot 😅

Cas hesitates to keep rubbing her back and holds her softly to him. "Good... I try not to be scary. The scar over me eye is a bit overwhelming at times, aye?” He chuckles a little. "Me biggest fear is to have people scared of me." They tell me no one wants to be around a beast.
“Don’t scar the face,” she murmurs, seemingly in a haze. “People are scared of me. I don’t like it.”
"Shhhh, I won't... never." He feels his heart crack at her words. He can’t bring himself to hurt anyone really. "I'm not scared of ye. Not one bit, ye wee lil lamb."
“Do I look much like a lamb to you?” she says with a casual smirk.
Cas raises a brow and offers her one of his all time best wolfy grins. "The most wee lamb I've ever seen, lassie." I want to see ye smile more, Lass.
“I could…knock you flat on your ass.” She laughs, proud of herself with her joke. He rolls his eyes and laughs, holding her a little tighter and shaking her playfully. "Ye probably damn well could, lamby. I'd still be laughing."
“I’m not that pathetic!”
"No, but I am!" He taps her nose with a gentle touch. "Yer laugh is adorable."
501 smiles. “You don’t act like a Guard Dog. And that’s fucking amazing.”
"Because I'm not a dog. I may be treated like one, aye, but look at me. I'm a scoundrel," he chuckles. "Ye are amazing too. Don't think ye aren't. Ye are smilin' an' laughin'!" He tilts her head up with a finger under her chin. "If you ever get sad, remember ol' Cas and think of this moment, aye?"
“But I’m a dog.” She looks up at Cas, biting her lip. “I’m their pet. Means I’m not amazing. Means I’m not what you think I am.”
"No, ye are human. Ye are yerself and that is what makes ye special." Cas keeps his eyes on her and smiles sadly. "Ye are right. Ye are not what I think ye are. Ye. Are. More. I can't give ye meaning because ye are already so meaningful. And I promise that no matter how much time passes, I won't forget ye, yer laugh, or yer warmth."
“You’ve known me for five minutes,” 501 grumbles. “How can you be so sure?”
"Would you forget me in the five minutes ye’ve known me?" He retorts with a tilt of his head and a grin. "Also I'm sure because I can read people well enough to know ye are greater than even me."
“I’m worried that they’ll make me forget,” she whispers. “You’re the only person to have shown kindness to me since I woke up…here. I’m not better than you. I’m not better than anyone. I don’t matter.” Still, she buries herself further into the blankets and Cas’s arms.
"And I'll be there to remind ye hopefully... to make ye remember that there is good," he breathes out, his eyes softening so much for her. He truly does care for her in the short time he has known her. He holds her tighter and makes sure to keep her warm. "Ye matter. Yer life is precious. One of a kind just like me. And yer soul... is brighter than a supernova."
“I don’t believe you. What—“ She nervously twists around a piece of her hair. “What do you want from me in return for this?”
The question throws him for a spin. "What do ye mean? Like... a price for me kindness?" He is confused but he shakes his head. "I want ye to smile and laugh more. That's all. And if that isn't possible... hope. Hope that life will get better."
“I don’t have a life. I live to serve my owner.” 501 cringes at her own words. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. There’s normally…a price.”
"Not for me. Me affection is free and true. Genuine. I'd never sway ye like that for sadistic amusement. Plus, hugs and cuddles are awesome!" He cackles, trying to cheer her up. "Those are their words, not yers. Ye don’t really want to serve anyone."
“I’m sorry,” she repeats. “I fucked up again, didn’t I?”
"No, ye did what ye were taught. I can't be upset. I'm more saddened by it," he answers her in an even tone. He knows better than to truly be upset. "It's okay. Ye are safe with me."
“You’re too nice to me.” She hums and closes her eyes, leaning fully against Cas.
"And ye are too wonderful not to be nice to." He can protect her if it means fighting a handler. That is what they wanted right? He is non violent until something in his head clicked to protect. He can defend her until he can't. "Ye look tired... go to sleep. If ye want I could sing or hum a lullaby me mother sang to me–- at least I think she did." He can’t remember his mother. He knows he has one, or maybe had one. The song is still there. They can’t take it away from him. He still has his music to keep him company.
“Okay, sounds…sounds nice. I’ll try not to wake up screaming.”
Cas lets her get comfortable in his arms as his eyes finally settle on the door. He won’t let them hurt her... "Shhh, just breathe and let the waves of sleep take ye, lil lamb." He quietly hums a bit before his melodic voice takes over, his thumb rubbing against her shoulder rhythmically.
“Little lamb? I don’t know what she’s told you, but she sure as hell isn’t a little lamb.” A Handler stands in the doorway, arms crossed across his chest. Cas feels a sense of dread overwhelm him but his eyes show his protective nature coming out. He won’t let the Handler hurt her.
