A little while ago I made some fridge pickles

Well they've sat a little longer than need to so tonight we popped them open to try~

They were a little salty, not super crisp. But firm. Taste wise will make again. Has been like by all, so will use the recipe and time wait again.
The jalapeno was similar texture. Good taste.
The onions honestly I feel shone through in texture and taste. I want to amend 2 jars of that for snacking, with jalapeños for hot dog and sandwhich topping, haha.

Nicky's Quick "Pickle" Recipe
Julianne cucumber and add to a bowl.
Add 1:1 water and white vinegar until it stand 1/2 inch taller then cucumber.
Add salt and mix until fully disolves. It should taste just under offensively salty.
Leave in the refrigerator overnight before eating. Keeps decently well (in my experience)
Great on burgers, salads, and cold sandwiches. Great for summer. (But let's be honest, it's great WHENEVER you need a pickle or salty snack.) -Hale

First pickle of the season! Fresh cucumbers from the farmers market, and fresh dill from the garden!
I love being able to reuse perfectly fine spaghetti sauce or salsa jars from the store, so I love to save them aside for pickling and much more! In addition to some Ball jars I have sitting around too.
