The interesting thing about superpowered evil sides as a trope is that while it might generally be bad for the character, for the audience it’s an amazing source of both character drama and badassery. So it’s in the interesting position of being something the characters are going to spend as much of the story as possible avoiding using, while the audience is just sitting there waiting for the evil power-up to come out to play and then cheering when the character lights themself on fire and starts raining electric death or whatever on whoever drove them to that point

To explain a previous post: I was having difficulties reading this shop menu. I thought the implication for items like the Magic Fill was that you needed 150 Magic Jams to purchase the item in question. Apparently, it's 150 gems, and then the number of jams you see next to the item indicates how many jams you need to spend. So, this item would be 1 Jam, 150 gems.

I do not like this design. Looks like mislabeled units. Like, it would make more sense to me if it was like one of the following:

With the Pokémon Presents most likely showing off the DLC for Scarlet and Violet, and likely properly revealing the legendary responsible for terastralization and those fusions between Raikou, Suicune and Entei and Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion, I just wanna put out there that I really hope that the legendary beast fusion is at least part electric type. Or ideally, Electric/Fire. Based on the design teased in base game, the only real design cues it takes from Raikou are its feet, so I want it to at least have representation in the typing, and not get pushed aside again.

Some lore about the Chroniclerverse!

So, in the previous post, I mentioned something about an Enigmatic Journal. This is actually a collection of entries written by Interceptors of the failed alternate timelines, having painstakingly documented every event that had transpired in their journeys in the hopes that their successor would learn from their mistakes and know which pitfalls to avoid.

They’ve also recorded any additional knowledge they’ve obtained that might be helpful to their successors too. Some examples include the (perfected) recipes for homemade medicine (i.e. Potions, Revives, Elixirs, Full Heals, and some remedies for common illnesses), solutions to the multitude of puzzles encountered throughout their journey, and even places where they can gather materials/ingredients for their medicine or even useful/valuable items that can be sold for money.

However, this knowledge can be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. For this reason, the entries are all encoded in a cipher only she knows, to protect the contents from being viewed by the wrong individuals. Here is the kind of cipher she used, which is actually a fictional alphabet taken from another game (Hauyne taught herself to read and write in this alphabet out of boredom).

Admittedly, anyone with a high enough intelligence could have easily broken the cipher if they tried. But let’s be honest, no one would think to decode a dingy old journal owned by a teenage girl. They’d just assume she was trying to look “cool” by pretending to be a spy of some sort.

Furthermore, as extra layers of security, the journal couldn’t be opened unless two keys are presented: her own aura signature, and a “passphrase”. Upon detecting her signature, it would prompt her to provide the passphrase by revealing this message in glowing golden letters:

“Herein I commit the chronicle of the Traveller. Shepherd to the stars in the dark. Though the world be sundered and our souls set adrift, where you walk, my dearest friend, fate shall surely follow.”

The correct response is:

“For yours is the Fourteenth seat - the seat of Azem.”

In the Chroniclerverse, Hauyne first obtained the Enigmatic Journal from a parcel she received from the Eldest. The parcel also contains a Time Amulet, which was placed there to prevent the journal from being erased from existence (since it was a paradoxical entity). Once Hauyne has acquired a Time Amulet of her own, the extra one can be used however she pleases.

Small Headcannon for C!Tommy: Before the war and exile Tommy didn’t like being called a “child” because he wanted to be included with his big brothers and didn’t want to be seen as lesser.

After Exile Tommy started to hate being called a child because he believed that after everything he had been though, that he was no longer a child. That going through something that nobody should do though allowed him to “graduate” in to being an adult and anyone calling him a child is saying that what he went though was not real and did not effect him.
