I may be cringe but I am free -- my thoughts when designing/making these very self indulgent OCs that may not be canon for the intentions they were supposed to be made for. (I wonder who's designs I based them off of/ who their parents are supposed to be? Sure a mystery isn't it 🤔🤔🤔)

Anyways meet these fraternal twin sisters, Yuelan (moon, orchid) and Mingxuan (tomorrow, daylily). Their names are Chinese characters and are supposed to be similar to each other since they are twins after all! They do not look that similar in appearance, taking from different aspects of their intended parents, but, I imagine they are still very very close. Yuelan was originally supposed to be the older, taller one who acts like the younger sister, while Mingxuan was supposed to be the shorter, younger one who is more responsible and acts like the older sister BUT... I might just swap the seniority here XD

Yuelan's design comes from me wanting to make her like a cat girl, specifically to look like a Russian blue cat (with the blue hair, green eyes). I even gave her little cat ear buns to make her more catgirl-like, although she might wear catgirl headphones when she has her hair just down. Personality-wise, she's shy and socially anxious, but this makes her come across as cold/rude sometimes -- but inside she's always internally panicking when she needs to speak to people. This is why she hides behind her sister and has Mingxuan talk for her the majority of the time. She is intended to be a hacker/decker but I have yet to determine how exactly she got that sort of training. Her theme colour is mostly blue, as you might be able to tell.

Mingxuan's design is intended to be based off of feathers/angels, although she might have some leafy green plant aesthetics too! I gave her some crosses/plus signs (whatever you want to call it) in her ears as earrings, as her pupil, and as a necklace on her neck because guess what? She's a healer/ doctor in training! (I imagine she is trained by not only her mom but her aunties XD). Personality-wise, she is friendly and charming -- she likes to tease her younger siblings as well as hot people. She is definitely much more sociable, and pleasant to talk to in general. Her theme colour is dark green mostly, and I want her to have very earthy tones, although she likely usually dresses in black and white and is quite practical about the types of clothes she wears.

I also want to design a younger son (4-6 years younger than these two) who may be named Ceres who is heavily doted on by the rest of his family for being the baby. He would have a very chill, nonchalant personality and probably be some sort of driver. 👀 Maybe I will draw him soon. I imagine similar to his sisters, he has a cool colour palette -- likely dying his hair purple, and his eyes will likely be green. Or for funsies he could have heterochromia and have 1 green eye and 1 brown eye who knows XD I'll figure it out when I design him. I want him to be very catboy like and quite similar to his father so that they'll be like yup... that's his son alright.

Well but you know this is self indulgent IDK if they'll be allowed/ get to have children :') But it would be Lei's dream so who am I but a vessel to portray my OC's wishes.

QTVW Chapter 2

Future* President's Fiancee (II)

After An Mu Lan met Ling Xihan, the expression on Father An’s face when he turned his head to look at her was three parts disgust and seven parts satisfaction

Father An's attitude changed all because she analyzed the plot and memories, took the initiative to talk to him these days, and made some changes in line with the original owner's character.

After her father told An Mu Lan about the marriage, she took the initiative to approach him that night, expressing her gratitude to him for 'raising her' and expressing her remorse for always confronting him in the past.

She said that she would change her ways, worried about her father and would help him.

This conversation improved the relationship between the two, which changed Father An's attitude towards her a little bit, and these days, she also had an advantageous benefit, as she received strong support from him financially.

The first thing she did after this was to respond positively to the marriage.

In the past few days she has been ordering girly clothes, taking the initiative to dress herself and making the often cold room look warm and sweet. Some of her actions were changed to suit her father's preferences, in accordance with her tutor's teaching.

She did all this to project a good and obedient image to set the stage for her next move.

Because of these factors, Father An’s attitude towards her was more satisfied and valued, she only heard him say,

"I have something to discuss with Ling Xihan, you go back to your room and pack your luggage first.”

A father's advice to his daughter is evident in his words.

An Mu Lan had learned about this from the original owner's memory, so she didn't show too much reaction to hearing this, but answered obediently,

"Yes, father."

She watched the two go upstairs to Father An's study. She had only just returned to her room, packing her bags and reminiscing about their first meeting.

The villain, Ling Xihan, has not been written much in the novel, and was chosen as the character for this mission because the system selected her based on the criteria for defining a villain - powerful, complex background, ruthless tactics, protagonist's aura, strong luck, entanglement with the hero and heroine, and many other factors, after a multi-level selection process.

In the original owner's memory, there were a few impressions of her, plus today's personal contact, which let Mu Lan know that the subject of this mission was a woman whose joy and anger were not visible, and it was hard to let anyone see her mind. As for the task of raiding her, An Mu Lan could only take one step at a time and act like this for the time being.

As mentioned in the plot, by this time, Father An had made the news of the marriage public.

The fact that Ling Xihan is the fiancée of the youngest daughter of the An family has been reported in all the major media. And mostly under the title 'A millennium-old family joins forces with a rising economic power'

It was because of this that Father An was so angry when the original owner and Ling Xihan broke off their marriage. Because it's not just about marrying his daughter, it's about uniting the interests of the family.

The current An Mu Lan naturally won't choose to break the marriage, and her move to Ling Xihan’s residence will make it easier for her to raid the villain.

She quickly finished packing her luggage and ordered the maid to carry it downstairs, then she sat quietly on the sofa in the living room with her hands folded in her lap, looking very serious as she read a book on women and women's marriage.

After waiting for about half an hour, the sound of two people talking came from a distance, An Mulan was the first to stand up and looked up the stairs, she saw Father An with a cheerful and satisfied expression, every now and then he glanced at Ling Xihan, in his eyes, there was satisfaction and regard for her.

When Father An walked into the living room, he warmly invited Ling Xihan to join him for lunch, he ordered the kitchen to prepare a big meal and told the butler to call all the young masters back for dinner. Then he turned his head, lowered his face to look at An Mu Lan and said to her,

"Let's have a meal before we go, and you take Ling Xihan to your room to rest a bit. Xihan, what do you think?"

The corners of Ling Xihan’s mouth curled, and her clear, cold voice was on the low side as she said,

"I will listen to you, father-in-law, and I would like to spend some quality time with Mu Lan."

Hearing this, Father An became even more satisfied with Ling Xihan, he gestured with his eyes to An Mu Lan, who immediately answered,

"President Ling, my room is over here, please follow me."

An Mu Lan leads Ling Xihan towards her room. When Ling Xihan walked into her bedroom, what caught her eyes was a princess room decorated in pink and girly colours, Ling Xihan swept her eyes across the room and looked at An Mulan with a slightly unexpected look in her eyes.

An Mu Lan smiled nonchalantly and said,

"President Ling, this is my room, please have a seat."

As she said that, she guided Ling Xihan to the sofa in front of the window and sat down, while she herself knelt on both knees on the cushion beside the low table and asked her with a tilted head,

"Does President Ling like to drink tea or coffee?"

Ling Xihan sat on the backlit sofa, unable to see her expression, and only her cool, emotionless voice could be heard, saying,

"Tea, just fine."

An Mu Lan nodded, making tea with a smooth hand, her long, thin fingers curving as she demonstrated the art of tea. Her look is warm and focused, full of the charm of an Eastern woman.

When the tea was brewed, she immediately poured a cup of tea and pushed it in front of Ling Xihan, saying to her,

"It's done, you can taste it."

She took a sip of the tea and then leaned over to take a look at the young girl in front of her.

An Mu Lan's cheeks reddened under her gaze, she pulled open the cupboard of the low table with soft eyebrows, took out a biscuit box from it, handed it to Ling Xihan and said in a soft voice,

"President Ling, these are the complementary desserts for tea, they taste delicious, would you like to try them?"

Ling Xihan nodded, although she wasn't interested, she made a rare move to be different in the face of such a girl who was to her liking. She took a biscuit and ate it, the sweet taste filled her mouth, she looked up at An Mulan and saw that she was looking at her with a smile, two deep dimples at the corners of her mouth, she looked extraordinarily good and pretty, pure and soft.

Ling Xihan's heart fluttered, she had always liked girls like this. She thought it was a temporary business alliance, a union of interests, but she never thought it would bring her such a big surprise. She looked at the girl's smile and just felt that the other girl was sweeter than the taste of a biscuit in her mouth.

Ling Xihan lowered her eyes and took a small sip from her tea, the white smoke obscuring her expression as she said,

"Miss An, you can call me Xihan, after all, we are in a fiancée relationship and, as you are about to live with me, we, will have a more intimate relationship."

After she finished, she put down her tea and sat up straight, the corners of her mouth curled up in a rather amusing smile, which added a bit of vividness and beauty to her cold face, and she looked exceptionally attractive.

An Mu Lan's heart jumped and her cheeks brushed red as she hastily admonished herself, she's the one who's going after the villain, not the villain who's going after her! Hold on! Don't fall for the villain's beautiful tricks!

As she warned herself, she shyly lowered her head, hiding the look in her eyes and making a not-so-shy face, but still speaking graciously and fluently,

"Xihan, you can call me Mu Lan, the Mu of a wood to the right of the three dots of water and the Lan of orchids."

Seeing her earnestly saying her name with an indescribable naivety and delicacy, Ling Xihan arched her eyebrows and called out,

"Mu Lan."

They were meeting for the first time, so naturally, most of the conversation revolved around An Mu Lan. When Ling Xihan brought up the topic a little, An Mulan had already revealed her own situation, all to Ling Xihan.

At noon, reminded by the housekeeper's knock on the door, An Mu Lan and Ling Xihan went to the living room for lunch.

There were dozens of exquisitely shaped dishes on the dining table, from here we could see how much Father An valued Ling Xihan, and it was the first time An Mulan saw the entire An family at the dining table.

Her four older brothers, the eldest and second are already working in companies, the third is studying art and is a well-known artist, and the fourth is still at university and goes to the same school as An Mu Lan.

All four are excellent, the eldest is austere, the second is graceful, the third is literate and gentle, and the fourth is dashing and unrestrained. Powerful characters in the maid's harem.

But now An Mu Lan looked at them as if these people were just NPCs on her way for revenge, part of a mission.

After lunch, Father An walked Ling Xihan to the entrance of the An residence, and naturally her four brothers accompanied him all the way.

An Mu Lan secretly surveyed their expressions, and saw that the eldest and the second had masks on their faces and were emotionless, while the third had a sad frown, and the fourth had raised eyebrows and was clearly angry.

An Mu Lan knew that the video of the maid and her four brothers, which had been uploaded to the campus website, had still had a partial impact on these people.

This gave her great satisfaction and it seemed that all she had done before had not been in vain.

After today, she will move in with Ling Xihan, the An family's wild storms are no longer too relevant to her, and the four brothers can't find out the truth, and in the end, they will only push this matter to their rivals. Even if they suspected her, they would take into account her performance these days, focusing on the marriage, and the lack of motive to clear her of suspicion of committing the crime.

An Mu Lan was in a good mood as she said goodbye to the An family and took a car to the other side of the city, to Lings Xihan's villa.

Ling Xihan now lives in a villa area on the outskirts of the city, and from its residence, it fits perfectly with her emerging president's status, which is unremarkably low-key.

Within this villa of hers, there are no servants or housekeepers. Because Ling Xihan is a person with a strong sense of privacy, she does not like others to come near her territory, so there is no sign of outsiders in this villa, except for the occasional assistant who comes over to take care of the rooms.

Ling Xihan took her inside the villa and arranged a room for An Mu Lan near her bedroom, explaining,

"This room is yours."

After that, she left the villa in a hurry.

An Mu Lan surveyed the room, which had taken two days to set up neatly, during which time Ling Xihan had been away on business and had not returned home.

When Ling Xihan had finished the business at hand, she returned home at night and opened the door to see, wearing a pink nightgown with an apron, An Mu Lan, carrying a plate of home-cooked food, walking out of the kitchen.

At long last, it’s the goats’ time to shine ✨🐐

Before the usual further rambles under the cut I want to properly explain one little detail in Asgore’s info box: Asriel being his nephew. I didn’t change this just for the sake of it! It has to do with everyone's roles and actions making sense to me and keeping certain details intact, and I'll talk about it more in Asriel's character sheet but here's the shortest way I can explain it:

Basically Asriel being alive in Underswap and still being Toriel and Asgore's son without any of them aging doesn't really make sense to me, and physical distance doesn't seem enough reason for none of them to have aged a day in 100 years, as Boss Monsters should. I've also seen (and liked) some Swap takes where Asriel instead has only a distant relation to the Dreemurrs or even none at all, but speaking purely for my Underswap it just feels kinda sad for him to have nothing to do with them.

So my middle ground for both of these points is Swap MH Asriel is their nephew instead, allowing him to have a close family bond with both Dandelion and Orchid without any of them aging, and lets him be separate enough to live his own life in Snowdin in UT Monster Kid's role. His parents are dead and about as relevant as MK’s biological parents, which is uh. not at all, but that’s just how it's gotta be.

As I've often said with Underswap MH, I don't mind if this doesn't appeal to everyone! I know it might be odd even with thought-out reasons for it, but in the end I'm still just doing what I want with my version.

anyway on with the enormous amount of extra info for these two:

Because they have no biological children (and to be clear, it's not that they can't have kids, they just didn't), Dandelion and Orchid are physically younger than their UT counterparts. Personally I don't think they were that old when they gained their Boss Monster immortality and I headcanon UT Asriel as 10 when he died, so I see UT Toriel and Asgore as being physically around their late 30s and early 40s respectively.

It took a while to figure out why Orchid would ever kill the six humans because it always felt out of character for a Swap Toriel who retains some of UT Toriel's personality. I can't see her killing anyone voluntarily at first, but UT Toriel is able to kill UT Frisk accidentally, so likewise killing the first human to fall after Swap Frisk was not intentional. She still tried to reason with every human who faced her, but being unable to convince them to stay in the Underground in peace and already having blood on her hands, was resigned to her duty.

On Dandelion's side of events, he still has UT Asgore's traits of being prone to anger in grief and somewhat cowardly about his duty, hence him still calling the declaration of war on humanity but then backing out on it. Feeling like he'd betrayed the memory of their children and knowing he'd hurt Orchid emotionally, he exiled himself to Ruins, assuming that in his absence she would call the war off again.

Orchid's reason for not using a human soul to cross the barrier (i.e. exactly what UT Toriel calls Asgore out on) is that taking the first child's life traumatised her on top of her grief in not wanting to follow the doomed footsteps of her adoptive children. As she's still Toriel she still considered doing exactly that, but wasn't emotionally capable of it and is very aware of her hypocrisy.

...basically if you think the eternal fandom slapfights over whether Toriel is just as bad as Asgore or either of them did nothing wrong are a mess, it's definitely even more complicated in Underswap MH. They both made wrong decisions in grief, but in the end both deserve mercy too.

Orchid's throne room, rather than being covered by a bed of golden flowers, features the same black tree seen in front of UT Toriel's home, with red leaves covering the floor (meanwhile the Ruins has no red leaves). Her throne sits directly in front of the tree and the room is darker, and the original game's room of coffins in New Home is nonexistent as Orchid buried the fallen humans in the throne room to show them what respect she could.

Instead of trying to destroy the Ruins' exit like UT Toriel, Dandelion leads Chara there when they ask to leave and tells them the monsters on the other side will try to kill them. He apologises and says it is his fault for that, and the least he can do is give them the choice to stay with him in safety or prove that they can survive out there, and as mentioned above they can always change their mind and come back.

Dandelion could hypothetically still do the orange/blue eye-flashing attack UT Asgore does, but doesn't because he's the tutorial boss. In Orchid's battle, the orb of her sceptre flashes orange or blue before she attacks with flames of the same colours (she'd also destroy the mercy button with a column of fire).

I spent too much time thinking about whether Orchid should still speak without contractions like UT Toriel, because speech styles are mostly swapped but it's such a Toriel thing, so... I decided her natural thoughts/spoken words still lack contractions, but she forces herself to use them fairly often to try and keep up with modern speech. Meanwhile Dandelion mostly speaks without contractions, but occasionally some slip out.

Given that I'm a Bigtime Soriel Shipper™ it's probably worth mentioning that the role equivalent of UT Sans and Toriel's friendship between Noodle and Dandelion remains platonic, primarily due to Noodle being aromantic. But Dandelion is panromantic and Noodle would definitely be his wingman if anyone took his fancy, and their bond is incredibly important to them both! They basically have one of those friendships where sometimes you just make small talk and chat about mutual interests, and sometimes you both unload your entire life's emotional baggage and support each other's mental health.

and yes because I have to give a mention to my beloved Swap Soriel: Neptune initially has no intention of telling Orchid about his feelings for her because he doesn't want to make their friendship awkward, but he ends up blurting out how much she means to him when she's feeling especially bad some time in post-pacifist. As mentioned above she doesn't feel the same at first and their friendship continues (no man has ever been as genuinely happy to be friendzoned as Neptune), but she begins to return his feelings before too long. There's actually so much more depth to their friendship I'd love to share immediately, but trust me it'll be much better in comic form ;v;

I've forgotten the flower meanings of dandelions I read while I was looking up yellow/gold flowers to name Asgore after, but most of the reason I chose that for him is because I see Asgore as part lion and he is very fine and dandy. As for Toriel, apparently purple orchids represent things like royalty, respect and dignity which sounded fitting!

I swear I absolutely will not let my current pattern of procrastinating on the next character sheets for a whole entire year continue, I want to get the last three done much quicker!! Chara and Asriel will be next :D

The rules are: Answer the 11 (22 this time but hush) questions, make up your own 11 and then tag... I think it’s 11 people but I don’t know 11 people who I haven’t already tagged so...

I sort of started spamming pictures to answer a question so I’m gonna... put the pictures under the cut.

1. Have any of your OCs ever stolen something? What did they steal, and why? Oh yeah sure - the first one I can think of easily is Cain. He used to live on the streets so had to steal to survive. But he’d also work for money. He’s not heartless, just desperate.

Also now I’m thinking about it, Tag would definitely be the kind of guy to just... hey I know I’m meant to hand this gear in but... no-one will miss it so.... he steals to amuse himself with the gadgets he gets.

2. Did you ever have imaginary friends as a kid? What were they like? I copied my sister in having pretend animal friends, but not really. Who needs imaginary friends when you have real-life ones lol I was a lot more liked as a kid.

3. Do any of your OCs have a favorite article of clothing? Why is it their favorite?

Uhhhh

Um.

Yeah, you could say that.

Andy likes his hoodie because it’s a thing that is only his. He didn’t get it from Murdock, I honestly don’t know WHERE he got it from, but it’s his, and the fact he owns anything means a lot to him.

Cain likes his because it’s one of the few things left over from when he was younger and again, it’s his. He didn’t steal it. It belongs to Only Him. He feels comfortable in it.

4. What do you fist develop about a character when you make one up? Do you think of their appearance first? Their personality? Their backstory?

Honestly? It depends. Backstory always comes after, but personality and appearance often intersect. I know for WIP 3 I thought of personality and traits first, and for Collateral it was appearance first. I think for Sonder it was more.. their role in the story? ‘Oh hey this is the antagonist, this is the protagonist, this is the love interest wait I hate romance, okay, side kick’ etc

5. Fluff or Angst?

If it’s not romantic? Fluff. I made myself angsty enough when I was younger, I want more happiness in my life.

6. Remember the color of that dress that everyone was debating about however many years ago? The one that was blue and black, or white and gold? What colors did you see?

7. Pick your bubbliest, happiest OC. Now tell me what will make them turn into your worst nightmare. I wanna see what makes them the angriest.

Oh boy, let’s see uhhh... Tag. Tag from WIP 3 who is undergoing the process of a name change.

Seeing someone he loves die would twist him. Being isolated would eventually break him. Being unable to do what he loves would definitely upset him also.

Also idk if you’ve heard about it but in his world, there’s a nifty ability called being a silvertongue and I know at least one silvertongue is not gonna exploit this but I also know of another who would even on this19-year-old kid so maybe it’s not by choice but that could make him a nightmare. Just sayin’

8. Now pick your angstiest, most emo OC. And tell me what would make them blush and giggle like an idiot. I wanna see what makes them the happiest.

Okay for this one it’s a tie I write a lot of angsty characters.

>Cain - anything awesome that Duck does. Oh hey what’s up Goose oh you drew this radical picture? /tearing up/ it’s so great oh my gosh you’re so talented. That’s more being happy than giggling but can you see Cain giggling? No, me neither.

9. If you could have any mythical creature for a pet, what would it be?

10. What’s your go-to thing for when you’re hungry but don’t have time/energy to cook something?

Fruit! It is! Very good! And tasty! Apples have a good cronch! Oranges are mmmm juicy. Banana? Yes nice thank you. Oh wow we have strawberries? What a sweet treat. Also healthy!

11. Do any of your OCs have scars? Would they be confident enough to show them in public (like at the beach)?

Oh yeah sure man. Andy’s got multiple from... ‘training’. He doesn't show them off. Cain, Duck and Theo have all been badly burnt on the arms, and Cain ‘’shows it off’’ just because it makes him uncomfortable to have his arms covered. And uh Raya probably has some sort of scar on her knees or elbow from rollerblading. Because you do fall over and it does scar.

1. What cultural value do you see in writing/reading/storytelling/etc.?

I think that without storytelling specifically, humans would be so... mundane? We’d be no different to any other animal on the planet. Creating anything, be that stories or art or literally anything is so... human. To take that away would be like taking away humanities soul. The cultural value isn’t really measurable - storytelling makes up the culture.

2. Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?

Honestly, I have no idea. I try to entertain myself, and if other people like it too, then that’s neat. But because I’m writing for myself, I anticipate everything, so I don’t know if it’s original or not. I know it delivers what I want! But is that readers want? Who knows!

3. As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?

Crow. Not even as a writer, just... dude crows are so damn cool.

4. What do you think most characterizes your writing?

I’m not quite sure about the phrasing so uhhhh represents? Google is telling me ‘describes’.

In which case, a midnight fever jolting you out of bed, moments before you could fall asleep, and puppeting you to a writing surface so you can splurge ideas onto it sounds about right. 66% of my WIPs have elements in them that were based on dreams.

5. How do you select the names of your characters?

Mostly? Spite. ‘Oh Trade, you can’t have a bad guy named Andy, all Andy’s are good’ NOPE NOT ANYMORE SUCK IT. I also have a friend who is really good at coming up with names that fit the exact mood of the character so I go to her a lot. Sometimes they’re puns.

6. Choose one of your OCs (or more). How would they want to be seen by others?

Sam from Sonder wants to be seen as someone people can talk to, but also someone who pursues a science because yes sociology is a science to her, shut up, don’t talk to me if you’re going to mention the words ‘paradigm’ or ‘objective’ thank you.

7. How do you find or make time to write? Are you consistent or do you write whenever you get the chance?

Hahahahahhahha.

In the past few months, I’ve not been writing because I’ve had exams. Before that, I wrote at every chance I had - being a student, I had a fair bit of free time during the day, so I’d use that to write. But for a while, it was a nothing on the ‘what has Trade written recently’ chart.

8. What does literary success look like to you? Is it important for you as a writer?

Literary success? That’s... a very interesting question. I think I’d be satisfied and feel successful if one person told me that my book helped them through something.

Jokes on me, I’ve already had that, my books helped me, I have already succeeded, see you losers in hell.

Also fanart but uh who needs fanart when you draw enough for five armies?

9. Are there any scenes that you’ve had to edit out of your WIPs? Can you tell us about them if they don’t spoil the book?

YES oh lord yes okay so in Sonder, chapter 15, I decided around draft 2 that I wanted a scene where Atlas got drunk. I made up reasons for it, asked lots of friends about what it was like to be drunk (as I personally have never been drunk), attended parties to get first-hand research and did so much preparation.

Wrote the scene, was pleased with it, left it to fester. Two years and two drafts later (now), I’ve come back and realised oh hey that scene is utterly useless and de-rails the plot. Time to remove it I guess.

I rationalise it as ‘well you wrote it and you had fun but it’s not needed, move on’ and that works well for me.

10. Would you feel comfortable publishing or sharing your writing using your real name, or would you prefer a pseudonym?

Pseudonym 100%. As cool as it would be to be able to go ‘hey I wrote this’ to people, the terrifying ordeal of being known is horrific, and people being able to track all my past activity from when I was literally seven is my worst nightmare. I wouldn’t even tell family or friends if I could get away with it.

‘Hey [real name], there’s a book at Waterstones called Sonder? With the exact same characters, plot and writing style as you have? But it’s under [pseudonym]?’ ‘oh hey, really that’s wild. Anyway,’

11. When writing, do you try more to be original or do you prefer to deliver to readers what they want? Do you think that a book can do both? Which is more important to you as a writer?

Oh hey, this is like question two but MORE. Standing by my previous answer, I think a book can do both - people want a happy ending, usually, but you can always be original in how you do that. No two stories can be told in exactly the same way. And hey - even if people do guess what’s coming up, that’s good.

As a writer? It’s most important to entertain. I don’t try and catch people out, I just deliver the story I have in my head and then edit it mercilessly until I’m pleased.

Hmmmm, probably nosebleed or pipsqueak, though they don’t really bother me. Also Daddy’s girl. Actually, now that I think about it, I’ve been called a lot of rude names. But again, I just brushed it off and worried about more important things, even if it made me a little sad.

02 Have you got a favourite flower?

Well, I haven’t really seen many flowers in my life time, but when I was poking around in the Vault storage I found a book on the flora & fauna of the old world. Going off of that, I think I like Orchids the most. But I still think about how cool it would be to have a garden full of dangerous flowers I could take care of.

03 Do you add a sauce, ketchup or other artificial flavourings to your food?

I like hot & sweet mustard and thousand island dressing.

04 Describe yourself using only words that begin with the letter 'T'.

Hmmm, how many words exactly? A few I can think of are “tactical” “terse” “Tenacious” though I bet some people would also say “Titular”. I can think of some boys, if they even knew what that word meant. I’m also going to say “Tantalizing”. Maybe someone would describe me as that, but it’s mostly because I like that word.

05 What is your lover's pet name for you?

Babe or Baby. I also still get called nosebleed, but it’s an affectionate term now, distant from the past.

Peacefully, with the people I love. I’m not for the whole “going out in glory” type thing other people want, but if I have to go out fighting, I want to be helping people.

12 Given the choice of absolutely anything, what would be your dream job?

Doctor. I don’t think I would be a general practitioner like my father though, they are the ones you go to for checkups and normal, non-serious appointments, even if that would be ok as well. I really would want to be an emergency physician. Those are the doctors that really see the rough stuff, and I think it would suit my work ethic better.

13 What position do you sleep in at night?

When I’m alone, I sleep curled up into a fetal position. If I’m with someone, I’m usually pressed against them. I like being with someone better than being alone.

14 What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?

The many times I was embarrassed in front of my class. Again, I don’t really find those types of things awkward or embarrassing. Yeah, I might feel bad at the moment but I’ll get over it. I’ve never been in an embarrassing situation with an adult before. I’ve gotten used to being yelled at by the Overseer, but most of the adults around here still see me as a kid so I can’t really be embarrassed in a sense I am with my classmates.

15 Who is your favourite fictional character?

Othello from Othello, Lennie, Curly, or Slim from Of Mice and Men, Mark Antony from Julius Caesar, Quasimodo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, the White Rabbit from Alice and Wonderland and Benvolio or Tybalt from Romeo and Juliet. The Vault’s collection is small in taste, and these are the main books you find down there. I also have a more comical love for the Mistress of Mystery and the Inspector from the Unstoppables series.

16 What food do you hate most in the world?

I don’t think I have any I absolutely HATE, but YumYum Deviled Eggs are kind of nasty if you get the wrong pack. I have a love hate relationship with Circus Peanuts.

17 When was the last time you were ill?

Can’t remember. I think I sneezed yesterday.

18 If you were transformed into a wild creature, what would it be?

I have no idea what’s out in the world now, but I would want to be a Wolverine or a Genet I think. I also like owls.

19 What was your favourite toy as a child, and whatever happened to it?

I didn’t have an abundance of toys are a child, but the one that stuck with me was an old Teddy Bear. I still have it to this day, even if all the other toys are gone.

My dad. He’s such a caring and kind person, even after all the trouble he’s gone through for me. That takes real strength. I love him with all my heart.

What’s your favourite song(s) to sing/hum? Ooh well~ I like singing everything! But my favs are Fly Me To The Moon, Angel Baby, and Dream a Little Dream of Me. Sometimes just random songs I’ve heard before I’ll hum when I remember them suddenly.

What’s your favourite flower/tree/plant (all 3 or whatever you have the answer to)? My favorite flowers are orchids, carnations, and veronica flowers (named after me of course.) Trees… 🤔, probably apple ones because they make apples which are the best. I unironically like cacti(?) plants, they have a lot of. Character.

Favourite colours? Very light or deep purples, light pinks, light blues, and dirty or light yellows.

What do you always doodle (if you ever do)? I’m always doodling ahah, normally I’ll be sketching animals (mostly pandas, bunnies, and dogs), random designs/ shapes, or objects lmao like the cup on the table next to mine.

How do you take your coffee/tea? I take my tea with no sugar at all or lots and LOTS of sugar just depends on my mood. Sometimes I’ll add honey to my tea or even some vanilla extract. My coffee? I don’t take it at all sksks

Favourite candle scent? Those ones that claim to smell like the ocean and just smell like clean bathrooms and the ones that smell like sweets i.e: sugar cookie, french vanilla, strawberry macaroon.

Sunrise or sunset? Even though I’m super sleepy during sunrises, I like the sunrise because it smells fresh out and everything is dewy. It also gives me nostalgic feelings.

What perfume do you wear, if any? My current perfume bottles consist of: French vanilla, lavender, daytime rose, and some ones with random names like midnight path. I like natural smells, but sometimes I go for colognes lmao they smell nice. Ya know kinda like baby powder.

What’s your go to dance move when you’re alone? Oh gosh I usually twirl around (><) or some random hip-hop moves I remember from music videos I like sksksksksks ( I’m really the biggest dork)

Favourite quote? Well, I’ll just put my life motto here instead 👌👌 “It could always be worse.” Tryna live while looking at “the bright side.”

Favourite self-care thing(s)/routine(s)? Oh man, I wash my face every night and day sksk I love using masks and scrubs but cleansing milk is my favorite! I also take long baths to relax and think/reflect on things. But I end up staying in until the water gets cold and I have to put hotter water in (so like 2 hr long baths ksks). Also, lotion. I use lots of lotion ^^.

Fuzzy socks or house slippers? Lmao I’m wearing fuzzy socks as I type this out.

What colour are your eyes? Dark brown 🐻

What’s your favourite eye color in others? I like that orange-ish brown color. It reminds me of autumn.

Favourite season? Why? Autumn! The weather is nice, Halloween, and my little sister (mine as well) birthdays are in Autumn.

What does your happy place look like? Warm, with my favorite colors, blankets, tea and lots of stuff animals. Somewhere with my best friend where I know that my family is waiting for me back ‘home,’ in my happy place you can hear the rain and light laughter.

Favourite breed of dog? I love all dogs but pit bulls (or huskies, or bulldogs, or pugs, or Boston terriers, or border collies.)

Do you ever want to be married? If so, what colours would you pick for your wedding theme? Me.. married.. I never really think of it a lot. maybe I will maybe I won’t ya know. My wedding would probably be whites, yellows, and light purples. The theme would be like flowers or smthn yeah..

Greetings to you! I haven’t talked to you that much ‘till now but thanks a lot for tagging me anyway. :D

Rules: Answer 19 questions and tag followers you would like to get to know.

1. NAME: Alex. I think it’s not too dangerous to give away my first name here. I mean, the world is filled with milions of Alexes and as long as you don’t get my full name, there’s no harm done. :) 2. NICKNAME: There are some in real-life. Due to my height and stature there are “Hobbit”, as a dear friend calls me, “Frodo”, as I’ve been dubbed while still at school and “Locke” (German pronounciation), referring to my hair, which is rather curly. 3. ZODIAC SIGN: Pisces. 4. HEIGHT: The nicknames give it away - I’m really smol. 1.59 cm, which is 5 ft, 2.6 in. 5. ETHNICITY: German potato here! :D (With some Italian mixed in by an ancestor more than 200 years ago) 6. ORIENTATION: Ask me something easier^^. I seriously have no idea whether it’s pansexual or something else. I really cannot find a label that perfectly suits me and I think it’s easiest to say I fall in love with people for their character and crush on them for their good looks, regardless of their gender. 7. FAVORITE FRUIT: Yes, gimme all the sweet tasty healthy stuff! Well, I used to love apples, but when I discovered I react to some of them, my interest switched to berries (blackberries and raspberries mostly) and I will always love bananas; the riper the better. And since tomatos are fruit,tto, botanically speaking, I think it’s just fair to add them here as well. 8. FAVORITE SEASON: Autumn. It’s like Spring, but backwards and without allergical reactions. 9. FAVORITE BOOK SERIES: Oh, that’s again a very hard pick. I grew up with and loved the Harry Potter series as a child, later discovered Anne Rice’s “Vampire Chronicles” and really liked the first few books of it as a teenager but right now I’ve come back to the one and only Arthur Conan Doyle and his Sherlock Holmes. (Besides that I’ve been reading a lot of biographies and more scientific texts lately, but this doesn’t count as “book series”, right?) 10. FAVORITE FLOWERS: So many, actually.... I have a huge fondness for every flower with a pleasant scent and or interesting shape. But mostly, I’d say orchids in their magnificent variety. I mean, just google some of them. 11. FAVORITE SCENT: My olfactory sense is... not the best, which is useful sometimes, but mostly kinda annoying. I think though, that freshly baked, still warm bread and Earl Grey are a wonderful combination. As is the air after a good rainshower and after someone has mowed their lawn. The combination is one of the best things in Summer. 12. FAVORITE COLOR: The green and blue spectrum, without specifying a certain colour. 13. COFFEE, TEA OR COCOA: Cocoa. Dude, don’t make me choose! D: (I prefer tea over coffee but in Winter there’s nothing like a big mug of hot cocoa) 14. AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: Somewhere between five and eight, depending on the day of the week. I like to take afternoon naps while at the bus home as well. 15. CAT OR DOG PERSON: Honestly, I’m more of a dog person but am stuck with a -sometimes very dog-like- cat.. 16. FAVORITE FICTIONAL CHARACTER: Oh dear, there are so many I can relate to or just consider really cool/fascinating/whatever. A small selection of them might be Peregrin Took, Arya Stark, The Iron Bull and the Weasley twins. 17. DREAM TRIP: Iceland or Thailand, both for their history and nature and Iceland also for its beautiful volcanos and geology and Thailand for its wildlife and historical architecture. And the food. 18. BLOG CREATED: February 2017. 19. NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS: Right now 73, but I’ve realised that this number harldy grows, since people seem to unfollow me almost as quickly as they follow me, for whatever reasons. But for those who still stick with me, even though I’m sometimes doing not much more than fan stuff reblogging and German shitposting: I love all of you and really appreciate your company. Feel free to talk to me whenever you want, I think you are all really cool and interesting people! *hugs*
