hai Punch Out!! buddies 🩷 ive had this little series idea in my head for over a month now; i would like to call it "HOME" !! and though it would take a lot of time, patience, thinking etc., id rlly love to try my best and execute it ! but i genuinely need help to make it happen !! so first things first:

1. what would King Hippo's island look like more in depth ? since Hippo Island is fictional, i think some unrealistic / fun elements could be added: would the sand be a unique color? would the water have unique properties? would there be specific kinds of plants that grow there? anybody that has any deeper and/or fun headcanons about what his island would look like, go wild !! realism does not matter for this one !

2. what kind of car would Macho Man drive ?? i personally have an affinity for old cars so im probably gonna lean more towards those, but more basic questions would be better: what color do you think he'd have the exterior painted? any fun ideas for his special license plate ? any headcanons for special details on the tires, steering wheel, interior, etc.? what color would the interior be?

3. if anybody has some personal experiences or insight into comfort places / restaurants in Berlin, Moscow, Paris, Istanbul, Dublin, Philly, Tokyo, etc., id love to hear abt it so i can get a more immersive gauge into what im working with ! just hearing abt the atmosphere, dishes served, special features, attitudes of people there (if it isn't an isolated spot), etc. would be more than enough help 🩷 this is one of the most important questions i have for this entire idea, so if u would like to ignore any of the questions, don't let it b this one !!

Getting some privacy in a ship is nearly impossible.

You cant really blame anyone;its a public space that all the crewmates share,and no one has the actual time to relax and spend time in their lover's company.

But there are also mornings like this: where everything's soft in the glow of the rising sun;the ocean calm and the sky so blue with few clouds, it has you closing your eyes and wishing for that moment to last forever.

As you lean back on the kitchen counter after you've made yourself a cup of tea,you enjoy the rare moments of loneliness. You close your eyes and take a sip of the sweet honey flavor liquid and let the rays of the sunlight warm your face.

When you hear the sound of someone stepping inside the kitchen,you open your eyes;ready to greet Sanji, assuming he's going to make breakfast since he's always the first one to wake up. But what greets you is the sight of a very drowsy Zoro making his way toward you. You pour him a cup of tea as well and offer it to him;and eye him as he accepts it with a grunt. You grin and bump your shoulder to his,making him grunt again.

"not awake yet,sleepy head?"

"not my fault. Usopp snores. And Luffy talks about food in his sleep."

You snort around your own cup of tea, "what about Sanji?"

Zoro takes a moment to consider your question,a when he speaks next,he seems genuinely surprised by his answer.

"he... actually isnt so bothersome when he sleeps. Which is weird, considering how annoying he is when he's awake."

You throw your head back and laugh;the sound so refreshing in the silence of the morning. Zoro takes a sip of his tea,and leans on his forearms next to where you're currently sitting on the counter.

"why are you up so early?"

You shrug and tilt your head toward the window.

"the weather was too nice to sleep in."

"is that so?"

You close your eyes when the skies clears again and the rays of the sunshine warm your face.

"yeah."

You two bask in each others' presence;no need for any words,just enjoying the silence. The tea finishes soon,and with warm belly,you eyelids start to droop again.

"sleepy?"

When you open your eyes,you see Zoro's face inches away from yours;having you caged between his arms. You lean forward and rest your forehead against his, smiling when he lowers his head and presses his lips to your neck. You shiver,and wrap your arms around Zoro's neck.

"you know,i always dreamed of kissing my boyfriend on a kitchen counter."

An amused chuckle escapes his lips,and he tilts his head to one side while eyeing your lips; pretending to be confused.

"oh?then I'm afraid you'll have to teach me how to do it."

You giggle and pull him closer

"that,can be arranged."

When your lips meet,the morning feels even better. Zoro's lips are soft and move slowly against your own. Its everything you've ever wanted,and even more.

Because of mornings like this,you try to wake up earlier than usual every now and then;so you can have a small alone time with the man you love before everyone else wake up.

When a small sound escapes your lips as he bites your lower lip lightly,Zoro pulls back slightly and rests his forehead against yours.

"you have to keep it down,babe. Don't want other to wake up now,do we?"

And one shake of your head is enough answer for him to dive back in,and capture your lips again.

And you pray to every god you know,that mornings like this last forever.

hi penny ! i had a ffxiv gaming question. ive been considering getting an mmo mouse recently but i keep wondering if its actually worth it. im pretty sure that u use one, so i wanted to know ur opinion on em! like if it was easy to get used to and if it helped improve ur experience with the game a lot. hope this isnt a bothersome question!

oh it is ESSENTIAL to me tbh. can’t imagine playing without one at this point if i’m doing kb+mouse. and the cool thing is that having an MMO mouse, or any mouse with more than 2 side buttons, actually just makes a lot of other PC games better too imo. you can bind SO MANY THINGS to buttons that are all in reach of a single finger that wouldn’t otherwise have much to do instead of having to take fingers off of WASD. i think especially if you are getting into some of the higher-level content in the game, like Stormblood onward, it’s a worthwhile investment.

BUT here's where it comes in handy that i'm also learning Korean! Because Korean 🤝 Japanese on phonetics and sentence structure but Chinese 🤝 Japanese on Kanji characters and their semantics!

so i've ended up in a situation where my listening skills for Japanese are better than my reading skills and if there's a Kanji character, then i probably know the meaning, but maybe not the pronunciation in Japanese because what i know from Chinese is overriding it 🤡 i plan to do a lot more Kanji review + Japanese comprehensible input to address this gap 👌

i'm barely at N5 in Japanese though (that's my goal for this year hehe) and i'm coming from the opposite perspective (Chinese > Japanese) than you (Japanese > Chinese), but i hope this is still helpful for you to at least get some ideas for how to tackle your own journey! 頑張ります! 💕

There's a post floating around somwhere that said that if MC should be a reincarnation of anyone then they should be a reincarnation of LIlith's lover and like, oomfie youre so fucking right. Personally I like to think that instead of Lilith reincarnating into a human, she attaches herself to the soul of her beloved. Cause her reincarnating as a human yet retaining the potential she had as an angel would definitely turn heads. Cause the angels would see her walking around the mortal realm and be like "Hey, isnt that the angel that caused us to lose a bunch of angels including the Morning Star?"

My idea is that the divine fruit Lilith gave her lover to heal them is what gives MC their power. Meanwhile Lilith as a divine spirit protects her lover from the prying eyes of the divine. Like think about it, MC's ancestor originally viewing their long life as a curse. After all they were the reason Lilith was punished. If they had just followed the way things were supposed to be. If they had just died. Maybe, maybe they could have seen Lilith one last time...

Meanwhile Lilith can only grieve as both her loved ones mourn her. Her apologies falling on deaf ears.

She tries her best to at least make her mortal lover comfortable, but her gifts are only seen as curses. Reminders of happier times.

But despite that, she never becomes jaded. She still loves humanity, despite the sorrow and anguish that surround her, she still remains hopeful.

This human is her beloved and she will not let her love die in vain.

Lilith finding that she has a particularly strong connection with MC. Being able to manifest herself a bit better with them. She shares their joys and sorrows. Hears their hopes guards their dreams. And she thinks, maybe, just maybe, this is what it would have been like if things were different...

And when they're sent to devildom Lilith is overjoyed to see her brothers again. Finally she can introduce her beloved to them! But, they're different now. The only emotions she sees in them is disdain. "Humans are nothing but a bothersome bunch."

Still she perseveres. She's always been called stubborn, even when she was alive.And as MC gains more and more pacts with her brothers, gaining their love and trust, shes so happy. Happy to see MC mending what she could not.

That's why when belphie kills them, for the first time in centuries, Lilith feels despair. Has he really changed that much? Was there truly no going back? They were doing so well! And belphie, belphie was her beloved big brother. He loved humanity just as she did. So why, why was he hurting her beloved like this?!

Belphie being exceptionally violent with MC cause they remind him of Lilith's lover. The one that ruined everything. Took his sister and damned them. Their love was nothing but a curse. They seduced her with pretty words of adoration when really all they wanted was her status as an angel! That had to be it! They took her from them!

That's why he lies to them in the first place. Serves them right. Liars should only be treated with more lies. He'll gain their trust, make them feel wanted, give them happiness and then take it all way. Just like humanity did to him.

But really, deep inside, belphie knows that humanity isn't the one to blame. They were just casualties in the drama of the divine. Caught up in a simmering unrest the likes of which they could barely comprehend. But, belphie also knows that the real reason is something so intangible and all powerful that he could never even scratch it. (And he tried) but, being the avatar of sloth he is, belphie punches low. Lilith noticing that Satan has the exact same eyes as her.

Sebek 🐊 HC's: Minor facial scars and scars in general, i dont think he'd have anything crazy since despite his brash behaviour he is very on about perfection, the TOP of his ears are bigger but not pointed also

Deuce ♠️ HC's: His hair is obviously more neat but when hes asleep or doesnt comb it/style it he has very messy and more noticabley longer hair in the back, at most it covers his nape, he also often falls asleep forgettin to wipe off his makeup (which earns him a scolding from riddle)

Sona/Sebek meet:

Theyre both in class 1-D so on the first day of class Sebek immediately striked convo.

(In the game its stated there isnt exactly any girls enrolled which makes me believe it isn't inherently spos to be an all boys school but they just rolled with it since its p much only dudes who end up there, so for the first femme to be enrolled it sparked everyones curiousity teehee)

For the most part it was just Sebek being curious and nothing more but p quickly they always sat next to eachother and studied more as a habit.

- During calmer vibes (part 2) they often just read or talk about random stuff though can often be over ruled by Sebeks "Malleus the great" speeches

- Sebek has been mad about someone leaving random food in his bag (ranging from sweets to full on meals), somehow he hasnt picked up its my sona 😭

This is gonna be such a turn from your usual sweet asks. I'm deathly scared of being cheated on even though I've never been cheated on before but I've read about and seen the damage it can do. What do you think Dazai would be like if his significant other had the same fear? Because I genuinely always worry about it even though I have absolutely nothing to fear. I can understand my fear is irrational but it's there you know?

I want a partner like Dazai, his personality specifically because I feel like when it comes to personality I've realized I have a type and it's always been an eccentric and goofy pretty boy who can't help himself yet someone who has a depth to them that they'd only show you and they'd understand everything about you without you having to tell them first, they just pay attention to you, observe you.

That's one of the things I love about Dazai, he seems like the type to understand things about you without having to ask. He'd observe his partners fears, their ticks, if they have trauma, he'd know, if they have a fear, he'd pick up on it, if they like ordering the same thing everytime they eat, he'd pay attention to it, if you're more prone to forgetting things, he'd remind you, if you're anxious, he'd instantly tell, I hate those headcanons(not yours obviously because I don't think you've ever written something like this) that are like "if you had anxiety or a panic attack or your period or mood swings, Dazai wouldn't know what to do," because I genuinely think he would.

He's always reassuring, whatever fears you have especially about him, he'd reassure you. I've never seen him as the type to cheat, he seems like he'd probably save anyone the pain of that and just break up(I definitely do believe he needs to work on his unhealthy habits), but I completely believe based on his character (what we know and see in the SHOW) that if he got someone he is in love with completely, he'd never want to hurt them, Dazai is a "all or nothing" lover to me, he'd never half ass his love for you. The second he realizes he loves you, he'll stop flirting with women, he'd just stare at you intensely, I think he'd have a smile, a smile you won't understand at first but in your relationship, you'll soon realize that smile is "I'm looking at the person I love with stars in my eyes and a radiant glow to my smile."

The things he did for Oda, I'm talking Beast Dazai, making an entire change on a cosmic level just for the person he loves to survive and write his book, there's NO WAY this man would cheat nor half ass his love for someone. When he loves he LOVES. Him in love is scary for him but necessary, he literally won't be able to live without you, it seems codependent but I think it would go both ways, it's not in an unhealthy way but in a "I wanna be tied to you by our souls on every plane of existence there is." I'm sorry if this is long btw or too much☹️ I went a little overboard and I hope it's not bothersome 😭.

i agree w u, dazai is super observant when it comes to his s/o !! i think dazai isnt entirely clueless when it comes to taking care of other ppl, i remember theres this part of one of the light novels where he calmed a little girl down (although i didnt read it myself i heard ab it from one of my mooties :< ) & he even kinda helps kyouka calm down too during her entrance exam. i think he has a softer side for his s/o, his protective instincts prob go into overdrive when it comes to them being hurt / upset & that applies to panic / anxiety attacks too ofc !!

I'm hearing 2 opinions on Erdogan and idk I wanted to ask you bcs I got both of them from non-natives. So the first says that he IS a good president, there is just too many outside factors trying to bring him down. And the second told me that he WAS a good a help for the country until he decided to care about some other things (colonisation ?) which eventually led to the current downfall. Maybe both are right or both are wrong, what do you think?

Non natives love to defend Erdo which is why us Turks have a whole term for them. Most of it however DOES stem from the second option being true.

Erdogan was in fact a very good leader in his first few years of power, now my family personally never liked him, he technically was in power on the sidelines for 10 years until he became president 10 yrs go. He did many things like make hospitals and healthcare way more accessible, fixed a lot of roads and built bridges etc. Now you may go “jay, isnt that what a normal president is supposed to do ?” Well, yes. But the guy before him didnt do a whole lot, so him doing his literal job was enough to convince people he was good enough to keep around.

As time went on he started to take a way harsher approach. Slowly but surely the price and tax on everything went up. Religion started to be the hottest topic in turkey despite us being a secular country on paper.Slowly festivals became too loud, protests were bothersome, pride parades were sinful, gays werent considered people, music after 12 wasnt allowed, Eurovision was something too embarrassing for our country to take place in, alcohol was a luxury that only the desperate & sinful tried to buy, women were not obedient enough, the legal age to get married was too high, sex before marriage became a big topic, rapists and murderers would walk freely, femicide got to a brand new high and a whole lot more.

This all happened slowly and gradually. By the time we thought to speak up on any of this the i-don’t-even know, 60% yearly inflation rate had worn us down. A dollar was no longer 2.5 TL, it was close to 25. Nothing could be bought with minimum wage. Whatever you bought, you bought a second one for the govt in tax (a phone here costs twice the price of one in america). People who vote for him mostly do so because all media outlets are heavily censored and totally in his favor. He has control of literally everything. Literally!! He hosted a referendum where he legally was given so much power that he can change whatever he wants on a whim. He will confidently lie out of his teeth and tell his supporters that the reason everything is so expensive is because of his opposition (who have virtually no power) + its fine because even if we’re poor we’re closer to god and his supporters eat it up because they have some fucked up parasocial relationship with him.

Right now we’re screwed beyond belief. The election was rigged in his favor but despite everything he either wasnt able to end it on the first round or intentionally didnt so he could win by a higher margin on the next round. The house is fucked, the opposition lost a ton of seats to highly religious islamic fanatics who straight up advocate for sharia law. That and the president literally had an alliance with a terrorist organization who want 15 year olds to get married, theyre also in the house. Its great.

Now we wait for the 28th, but its going to take a miracle for Erdogan to lose. I have virtually 0 hope at this point. One thing is foreigners defending him, but any turk who does so deserve everything they get. I truly hope anyone who voted for him suffer a fate worse than death (at this rate, they will). It may sound harsh, but ive seen no one in power except for this absolute sorry of an excuse, cunt of a man. 1) Have you ever come close to dying?

Aparently so! Ma would bring it up on the regular when i was just a wee little baby! Something about my cranium being an odd shape or something- itd always set her friends up to make jokes about me being dropped on my head! How bothersome! Now i will be truthful with you and admit i remember nothing about this. The woman and her stories! My heads most likely perfectly fine.

7) Are you afraid of dying?

Oh of course but isnt everybody?? I cant think of anything scarier, I mean, can you imagine what would happen afterwards? I cant. Not very well at least! Id imagine id have a pretty large funeral, err, and hopefully everybody cries, haha! Wouldnt that be nice? Erm. Im mostly afraid of not being able to do what i want though. Its not like ill be able to go out much one they chuck my body wherever they do.

11) Who do you think would miss you most if you were gone?

My ma i hope! But truly i think it would be a big deal- everybody would miss me theyve grown to love!!

19) Have you ever seen a ghost/spirit?

Ahh... This might be a bunch of total hogwash but when i was a kid i used to think id see my aunts ghost haunt our manor. Never actually met the lass but ive heard she was a firey woman, and i think that embedded itself in my little boy brain. I was sooo scared that at some point if wake up with her stalking me in my room!

dont take this as preaching and dont think im pointing to random people as guilty (by god i hope no one is getting their relationship advice from random comics) but it's come to a point where its a bit. sad. the amount of "partner infodumps, make them shut up with sex" comics that are being made. when i saw them i tend to go "idiot, as if infodumping isnt hot" but as im typing im thinking that it shouldnt be a matter of sexual desire. its literally your partner expressing themselves. like i guess its cool that the adhd/autistic person is seen as sexy but like. in the end its still a notion that partners talking to much is bothersome. its so sad

hello!! this isn't bothersome at all! the gist of it is mostly that we ended up busier than we'd planned lol.

however we do have a few chapters in advance waiting to be edited/illustrated that we might start posting soon. sometime this month hopefully.

whatever happens the fic will not be abandoned, you can count on that🙇‍♂️!! it's a very big project however that's kind of in the middle of other projects of various sizes (both fan-related and rl-related) so there are some roadblocks along the way, let's say

june egbert as a concept has existed for a long time as a headcanon, and i think the toblerone thing should be respected regardless of canon (and, to be fair, there's a LOT of shitty stuff in canon, so really there isnt a whole lot TO trust). i think a lot of people would prefer if you could just tag stuff related to her as june, since like you said it's still the same character, and there really isnt any harm in not tagging her as her deadname. i hope this isnt bothersome

Anon, I respect and appreciate the lack of confrontationality in this ask a lot. Quite a lot of people can get incredibly hostile and accusatory on both sides of the spectrum with regards to June vs. John.

You and I are both in agreement that they’re the same character. This much is true. I’ll absolutely respect anyone who is marking their pre-transition June art as June, and tag said art appropriately. Hell, if someone tags their art as both John and June, I usually play the safe route and just stick with June. It seems more respectful to me.

That said… They’re the same character, yes, but you have to keep in mind that while transfeminine June may have existed as a headcanon for a long time- I’m not disputing this, nor her importance/significance to anyone- so has transmasculine John. In fact, if I’m recalling correctly, that was the more popular headcanon of the two. Hell, some people even find comfort in the idea of John being a supportive trans ally, and I think it’s best to just respect what people are making content of/tagging their stuff with. You don’t know why someone is specifically making content of John over June.

If someone tags their art as John and only as John, then it’s most likely that they’re drawing John and not pre-transition June. If someone tags their art as June and only as June, no matter what she looks like, then they’re drawing fucking June. I tend to think of June vs. John the same way I think of any other different, significant phase of a character. I tag Aradiabot and Aradia Megido differently. Same character, different phase. I also take June Egbert and John Egbert differently. Same character, different phase.

You never know what significance J. Egbert’s gender has to someone. I’m just choosing not to assume either way. It seems a bit more respectful to everyone that way.

#tldr… i think just consulting OPs tags is the most respectful way to go about things lol #gender is very very important to a lot of people. gender headcanons are also very important to a lot of people #just… maybe don’t assume that everyone is drawing june when they draw egbert? #transmasc john was important for a lot of people. Hi anon! I'm happy you've been enjoying the fic but I'm sorry to say I really don't have an estimate for when the next chapter will be up. It's partly written but it's just been sitting in limbo since I'm kind of in a bad thought spiral for the fic.

I do want to finish the fic but I'm just not in a good place to be working on it for the time being.
