Okay Hi (・∀・) how you doin'
Would like to put in a request for a mean bully reader with some hq boy *cough*kageyama*cough*.
Top male of course. Also if there can be some humiliation that would make my day (๑•﹏•)👉👈
Not picky just desperate but headcannons are my fav.
Have a lovely day ♥╣[-_-]╠♥
Sincerely
-(٥↼_↼) nonne
Tumblr media
Kageyama Tobio
Kageyama would definitely have a humiliation kink loving to be belittled and treated like he is worthless. This is probably because he was always gassed up and treated like he's way better than everyone else hence the nickname "King of the Court,"
So someone else being in control for once is a major turn on. He'd be eager to please in bed always wanting to be your good boy because of his pride and the fact he hates to disappoint you.
He may always have that serious face but don't be fooled once he's under you he's the most vocal partner you've ever had with his cute ass moans. That why he's the funnest to bully into doing what you want because he cracks so easily when you tease him
Lastly, i think he would love to be forced into the most awkward situations like having a vibe in while at dinner or wearing a collar to school.
Tumblr media
Hinata Shoyo
Hinata would definitely have a height kink getting turned on by the fact you could literally pick him up and throw him around (perfect for sex).
He's always so smily so its a shock when you see him on the verge of tears because he hasn't cum yet or when he's too overstimulated.
He has a lot of stamina so you have to always tire him out getting him attached to a fucking dildo when he's still horny.
Sometimes you put a vibe in ass during practice while you watch him squirm and fight the urge to go down and get you to take it out of him. As soon as practice is done he's sprinting over to you begging for you to fuck him not caring if anyone hears his moans from outside the janitors cupboard.
Tumblr media
Tsukishima Kei
Tsukki seems like the type to get into a power exchange relationship or something bdsm related loving to be controlled for once.
He always that same condescending smirk on his face when he's around the team purposefully pissing you in public because he knows you cant do anything about it. So it's such a change that when you get back to your shared apartment and suddenly he's acting docile clinging to you.
So you have to teach him respect spanking him until he's begging you to stop saying he'll be good. All he needed was an attitude readjustment.
Tsukki loves trying to rile me up to get what he wants so i love seeing him get frustrated when he realises he has to beg to get what he wants.

Random Hobie Headcanons [Prt.1]
Tumblr media
me screaming about Hobie Brown just existing like these are just random headcanons of him doing fuck all and chilling but uuhhh this is also so long i had to split it in two parts so this is part one
chronic hobie brainrot u know how it is _______________________________________________
He's actually a fairly high ranking member of the Society
I like to think that Hobie - like Jessica and Ben - has a high ranking position in the Society
Even though he didn't mean for this to happen
Hobie's really good at working with teams, and persuading people. He's been Spider-man for a while, plus he has unique experience
He broke the barrier that 3 spider-people couldn't - sorry Miles you didn't loosen anything
Hobie would probably just ace every mission. In like record time
Miguel and Lyla watching it go from HQ and Lyla's like 'Oh, he's gooodd.'
The watches get a bug and need an update - but low and behold, Hobie knew about the bug and fixed his watch weeks ago. Chumps.
They need advice in taking down a particular anomally and Hobie is the only one with ideas that work -
And sure he may take the piss out of everyone and walk around HQ like he either owns the place or is about to burn it down but they can't tell him anything
He's just that good
I could see him helping out new trainees (and radicalizing them), checking in on every new recruit to see if they have a place to stay.
And Miguel respects that. Miguel isn't heartless, he cares about the society. And even though Hobie isn't doing it for him he appreciates the work Hobie puts in
Miguel probably knows Hobie is friends with Gwen, and that he was the one who stepped up when Jess wasn't
He loves to read
It just makes sense
With all the knowledge of anarchy and stuff, I assume he kinda has to be
I love the idea of Hobie and worn paper-back books that he reads again and again
All well loved, all second (or third, or fourth-) hand.
I imagine he reads a lot of non-fiction, and his favorite genre is history
He doesn't know why, but his brain loves reading about it and understanding the communities that existed in different times
But there are some fiction favorites he has, The Giver being one of them
He donates all the ones he doesn't absolutely need, leaving a sticky note in the front cover with a comment, same way he left one on Gwen's new watch
Hobie is a minimalist in morals
But not like the 'all white-house' aesthetic, but like the 'choosing to live with and on less to respect yourself, people around you and the world'
Everything he owns is second hand, and he likes finding really old cheap stuff, cause it connects back to the history thing
Every couch he's ever owned he's found on a street curb
He doesn't have much clothes, most of the stuff he does have were gifts, or from bands and shows
Instead, he goes to community swap-meets, and swaps his clothes for new ones every couple of months
He LOVES seeing other people in the punk scene wearing a shirt he'd swapped months ago, knowing it's gotten a second life
Hobie genuinelly tries not to throw things away if he can help it. Not in a hoarders way, but in an environmentally respectful way.
If he doesn't want it, he'll barter it away, or gift it to someone who'd like it, or make something new.
Even if something is broken, he'll try to gift it to someone who can fix it than trash it. He'd rather leave his busted TV at the door of a repair shop than a back-alley dumpster
He's low food-waste too
He's like 'Miguel bruv we don't waste empanadas in this house' and takes them for himself
He tries to finish everything on his plate (past survival tactic), but now he'll save it for later. Hobie be tearing leftovers UP.
He makes the choice to not carry money
Connects to the minimalist thing, also an anti-capitalist thing
Hobie doesn't like carrying money. As a personal thing.
Fuck he look like keeping pictures of the Queen in his pocket - absolutely not.
He barters everything he can - and he's good at it. He has an extensive network in the underground punk scene of London, and everyone helps out everyone
Weirdly enough, I feel like if you were dating him he's always ask for a fiver or ten quid or something because he genuinely doesn't carry money or change but somehow he's carrying a rare swiss army knife from 1935
But on the inverse side, if he ever comes across money for some reason, he'll have you 'hold it' in you wallet (just give it to you)
To him, it doesn't matter. He doesn't want to be attached to it. It's genuinely a moral he tries to live by.
He loves cats
He has a picture of a cat on his nightstand in his intro
I bet he has multiple indoor cats
But I also imagine Hobie being really interested and connected in the street cats in the neighborhood he lives and frequents (bonus point if cats are his special interest!)
He names them and knows their faces. Feeds them and checks up on them, tries to take care of them best he can
The ones who get hurt or a little old or weak become boat-cats, and they come live with him
He'll feed them fish from the river - and they always eat before he eats breakfast
None of them have bells or collars, they're not his pets - they're his little friends
He had 'weird' but practical eating habits
Hobie eats standing up.
He'll open the fridge and eat right there. He'll set the bowl on the table then stand in front the TV eating. He goes to the food court and doesn't sit down, just walks about
He's use to eating on the street, so to him, it's comfortable
He grew up going to Gregg or Tesco and eating outside. Grabbing something from the chip shop and scranning it as fast as he can before the rain starts coming down
He actually likes food, and wish he could get more into it - but fuck, he'll never be like those snobs that eat $500 dollar dishes at shitty restaurants
Small routines
In the morning, he takes the boat to the docks. Brush his teeth and get ready for the day
Next he feeds the cats that stay by the water, eating breakfast and playing records
He doesn't make his bed, but he checks all the parts of the boat's engine, just a good once over, and makes sure everything's running right
And then he HAS to say hi to all the people on the docks who know him - old men who'd been working there for decades, delighted when Hobie offered to help them unionize
He always reads before bed too, or on restless nights, he writes songs - practices new songs.
if you read this far, thanks! let me know if any of this mattered at all or if youre like 'sib what does any of this got to do with anything of importance bye have a good day and/or night

This is it this is the day I go crazy and talk about Akagi Ritsuko for way longer than anyone in 2024 should.
The way I have seen her miscaracterised is so.. so heartbreaking to me. Granted the Eva fandom is huge and I haven't been a part of it for a suuuper long time (I mean, the original fanbase from 30yrs ago is reduced to little more than a bunch of ghost accounts on dead forums by now) but the most common interpretation I see of her is something like this: A cold woman who has buried almost all her feelings for the sake of doing anything Gendo tells her because she's in love with him, who knows what she's doing is wrong, but who doesn't seem to care. A woman who has learned to care so little for the pilots, in particular Rei, who many people even say she hates, who only takes a stand on the "good side" once Gendo has personally scorned Ritsuko's love for him by having her put in solitary isolation.
And to me, that reading if her is just... Well not *wrong*, there aren't any *wrong* interpretations in media... What it is instead is willfully ignorant of so much if her character that proves almost all of that to be untrue.
Like yes, Ritsuko is cold. She's calculating and logical, but that's really about as far as the popular interpretation of her goes. She explains that being overly idealistic isn't something she scorns ("it's a nice way of thinking" directed at Maya and "your outlook is also important" directed at Misato) but something she knows she can't indulge in, otherwise the entirety of NERV's operating force would be hinged too much on personal feelings. Also, it's something she doesn't really know *how* to do. Look at Ritsuko's history -- a girl who practically grew up at NERV HQ, during the Second Impact, living under the constant shadow of a mother who didn't even give her the time of day. They write letters to each other in keigo instead of talking face to face. This is clearly a girl who's been isolated at least since high school, probably longer, who has probably lost so many people due to growing up during a damn extinction event. Someone who admits to being so poor at human connection that she supplements any hope for a family by raising cats, and even then! Even then she has to hand them off to relatives when her work gets too much for her. It's not that Ritsuko is cold and unfeeling because she enjoys it or scorns closeness, it's because she has never had the means or freedom to learn and foster those skills. It's her who introduces the concept of the Hedgehog Dilemma, she knows better than most how much you'll struggle to form bonds if you don't consistently try.
And Misato isn't some beacon of pilot safety either. The idea that she's the nice, sweet, helpful one and Ritsuko is the evil wench driving the pilots to their death is just blatantly incorrect. There are MULTIPLE instances of Misato being the one to endanger pilot safety, and Ritsuko being on the other end discouraging that. Take episode (I think 7 or 8?) where Ritsuko confronts Gendo about using children as pilots. She laments placing all of the burden on them, and spearheads the Dummy Plug system in the hopes it will alleviate that strain. Whereas Misato has made multiple allusions to molesting Shinji, has kissed him fully on the mouth, and seemed completely unaffected by the idea of sinking Asuka to unsafe depths in their fight against the 8th angel. The only difference in how they treat the pilots as child soldiers is that Misato is more vocal about how upset it makes her, whereas Ritsuko, not one to be talkative when it comes to her own feelings, as Misato points out, is not.
More examples of Ritsuko being nice to the pilots include: Teaching Rei and Asuka how to cook at Rei's request so that they can have a dinner together with Gendo and Shinji. Ritsuko sees this child, this child raised inside NERV in near total social isolation, begging for a chance at social contact, and she takes time out of her schedule so busy to the point she doesn't have time to wash her own clothes, to teach Rei how to cook. That brings me onto the next thing, actually, the way she's constantly characterised as despising Rei (specifically because she's "a competitor for Gendo's attention"). I can think of, at most, 2 canon instances where Ritsuko is actually mean to Rei in any specific, targeted, or substantial way. One is when she destroys the Dummy Plug system because, quote "these are just empty vessels, they have no soul. I'm going to destroy them, because I hate them." Which is bonkers to me! Bonkers! Because my IMMEDIATE thought when I first saw that scene was "Oh, of course Ritsuko hates the Dummy Plug system, it's science taken too far, it's a disgrace against life to create soulless husks, of course Ritsuko sees it as science used for too evil a purpose to justify. She hates them because they're inhumane." But somehow everyone took that as "Wow Rei I hate you so much I'm going to kill a bunch of your clones"?? I'm sorry, but since when has Ritsuko been characterised as being so *petty*? I mean, this is a 14 year old girl she's supposedly beefing with here.
The only other instance is when she says "(Unit 00) was definitely trying to kill me" after it goes AWOL during the 11th angel attack, implying Rei (who's soul is inside Unit 00) hates her, presumably because of something shes done. But OF COURSE she thinks that. Of course the head of this operation, who has overseen all of these horrible things, signed off on so many inhumane fights, thinks her soldiers want her dead. I don't think for one second Ritsuko thinks she's a good person. She literally says "you'll learn (that being idealistic is impractical) the first time you feel dirty." She feels guilt over what she does just like I said before, just like Misato does forging forward with this whole operation, she's just more quiet about it.
So why? Why does she do this? You can put Misato's involvement with NERV down to a genuine desire to help, the genuine illusion she's doing humanity good by protecting it. Throw in her half a revenge plot, and you can say she's doing these horrible things for ostensibly just reasons. But Ritsuko knows infinitely more about the inner workings of NERV, to the point it's implied (?) she killed Kaji, one of her only friends, to keep the information safe. People always put it down to just "she loved Gendo, that's why" and yes, frankly, that's a terrible reason. It also, doesn't make sense!
Take Ritsuko, a woman with little to no social fluency, a woman who can bouy herself only on her scientific merit, because remember, she lived in her mother's shadow for most of her life. The only way to ascertain her worth, especially underneath someone as unfeeling as Gendo, was to prove her commitment as a scientist. She didn't *have* anything else, she couldn't have anything else, no matter how much she wants to. A woman that has fought so hard for the approval of Gendo, and imagine you're her. Imagine your own mother won't even speak to you. You don't have any father around and you never mention him, but there is a man your mother seems to love. Odd, considering she doesn't seem to love you in any way that really counts. You'd want his approval too, no? You'd want approval from the man your mother, your overshadowing scientific monolith of a mother, melted back into humanity for. You'd want to prove you were as good as her, that you could enrapture the man she managed to ensnare. Because all you want is for people to see you, recognise you, that's like - THE key theme in evangelion across so many different characters. And remember Ritsuko was a highschooler when she met Gendo, when she found out her mother was having a fling. Imagine you're orphaned soon after, and all you have left is impossibly large boots to fill and this man, this man who is important, talented, and special enough to make your mother look at him, and he's asking you to help him. Of course you would. Of course you would. Because all you want is some human affection, no matter how clinical and predatory it manifests itself.
The line about Ritsuko and Gendo is literally "I wish you'd use my body again, like you did back then." Because Japanese lacks plurals, it can also be read "I wish you'd use my body again, like you did that other time." (In fact, I'm actually more inclined to that one because I see 時 used for singular occurance more than multiple ones, in which case 頃 feels a little more common?) I'm sorry, but you'll never convince me this wasn't grooming. Just look at the situation I described and try and convince me this is shorthand for "she was in love with Gendo." Idolised him, sure. Desperately craved his approval on an intimate and academic level? Yeah. Bit *loved* him? No. And there's certainly no way Gendo felt anything back other than some weird, predatory affection (I mean seriously, Gendo. You knew this woman when she was a high schooler and you were old enough to be banging her mom. There's a lot wrong with you already but now I'm adding perv to the list.)
And the plan he's making you execute, wouldn't you find it captivating too, if you were her? A world where all those emotional roadblocks you've built for yourself finally disappear, a world where you can open your heart and see your mother again, perhaps connect with her for the first time. A world where you don't have to prove your worth as a individual because you'll be part of so much more. A hivemind filled with love, clarity, and pure acceptance. Sure, she's not some virtuous saviour of humanity, but neither is Misato, really. No one who works at NERV can do so with a clear conscience or for an entirely noble cause. What I'm saying is that Ritsuko isn't as shallow as to do all that for Gendo's dick. She has complex, self-rationalised reasoning there like everyone else.
And that just brings me back around to her relationship with Rei. Maybe she does hate Rei, a little bit. Not because she's vying with her for Gendo's attention, because that's stupid. Ritsuko is a piller of calm rationale, of impersonality and reticence. In what world would she possibly be that possessive of anyone, even the man she idolises on a personal and academic level? She isn't even remotely cold or aggressive towards Kaji when he steals away Ritsuko's only friend or actively goes digging for NERV intel, she's KIND to him, welcomes him as much as she's able to with how closed off she's become. She isn't desperate for attention in the outward way someone like Asuka is. She wants Gendo to approve of her, but never exclusively. Id say the only person she's ever in competition with on that front is her own mother.
Rei is just like her. A girl with limited social contact who's only link to some greater sense of being and humanness is through Gendo, of all people. She needs him, depends on him, sticks to him and adores him despite knowing he's mistreating her ("I don't get special treatment. Believe me, I'd know.") She's also been groomed to be Gendo's obedient, grateful puppet, grateful because if not for him, she'd have somehow less. Maybe Ritsuko does resent her. Maybe it's like looking into a mirror at your old self and wishing you could slap sense into the person you used to be. Or maybe it's like looking at the person who made your mother commit suicide in guilt, perhaps. Everyone seems to forget that little detail.
Maybe the Dummy Plug system being destroyed wasn't Ritsuko's personal act of scientific disgust, maybe she hated those lifeless clones because she cares about Rei so much she knows a fate of reanimation into indentured military servitude is worse than death. Maybe a life spent captive under Gendo's grooming is worse than death fighting the angels. Maybe she can't stand the thought of Gendo using a person so many times over, never learning his lesson. Maybe she wanted to take away one of his strategic devices and punish him. But "she just hates Rei that much" seems like too shallow and excuse.
When Ritsuko turns on Gendo, everyone assumes it's because she's finally been personally scorned by him, and has realised he doesn't love her, or that she's angry he's thrown away all the scientific research she's poured into project E and wants to spite him. And okay, maybe those contain a grain of truth, but combined with her destruction of the Dummy Plug system and her asking him as early as episode 7 if using child soldiers is really something they can justify, Ritsuko's betrayal reads to me as a woman who has finally been given a wake up call surrounding the man who has used her for most of her life. Ritsuko is a woman who is closed off by necessity, of course it takes her personally being wronged by him in a massive, obvious way, to realise just how irredeemable he is. It's not "once you hurt me, that's it for you." its "once you hurt me, I can't overlook you hurting everyone else anymore because of how much I idolised you." That's a selfish road to take, sure, but Ritsuko hasn't the social fluency to be less so. Further proof her rebellion isn't just some scorned lover's hissyfit as so many people paint it is that she *continues* to actively work against him, dedicating all her time and skill, for 14 years during the Rebuild movies. She is so dedicated to stopping him that she works with WILLE for 14 damn years. If that's not a woman thoroughly convinced this man needs to be brought down for his crimes, I don't know what is.
Anyway. I have thoughts about Agaki Ritsuko. My beautiful blonde morally grey but still complex and emotionally wounded babe.

seasons greasons :) if you're up to it, could we perhaps some HCs for how the yakuza guys like to spend the holidays with their S/O? regardless of whatever they celebrate, ofc. the winter season is quite festive for all sorts of stuff. hope you're feeling alright btw! stay cozy and healthy ( ´・・)ノ(._.`)
SEASONS GREASONS skskskskskks u have my whole heart for that, also YES you can. Thanks for the well wishes too, unfortunately I have been slain by COVID so the sickness will continue. Doing my bestest though, headcanons below da cut.
Kazuma Kiryu
Lots of Christmas shopping for the kids at Morning Glory. Getting hot drinks and walking around together during a snowfall. He wouldn't expect you to do this with him but he likes to volunteer at events, like soup kitchens for the homeless, during this time of year.
Majima Goro
Him want go see the big fancy holiday lights with you. That's it. He just wanna go see some neat decorations and ooo and aaa. Also just wants to drink hot drinks and eat hot food with you.
Saejima Taiga
Doesn't care for public holiday events so much but he WILL be making a giant cauldron of homemade soup for you both. You don't have to help out but he would love it if you did!
Akiyama Shun
Not much a festive guy, typically spends holidays just sleeping a lot. Would go out for a particularly fancy dinner with you though. Does tag along for Christmas shopping if only to take notes on what you seem to like so he can buy it for you later.
Tanimura Masayoshi
He's pretty new at dating so he doesn't know what couples do for holidays but his personal tradition is making tons of handmade dumplings at Homeland and handing them out to all the families in the international district. He'd love it if you tagged along to help, maybe even tying some cute bows on the baskets before delivering them together.
Ryuji Goda
Big of heart and dumb of ass man Ryuji's favorite holiday thing to do is to make literally everyone in the Omi Alliance decorate the HQ. That includes you. Of course, since you are his literal favorite person, you get first and last say of what goes. It's really fun for the both of you, running around and throwing up decorations, telling grunts to put that there and not over there and what the hell were they thinking putting those lights with that color ribbon.
Nishikiyama Akira
He wants to visit all the cutest cafes and try their seasonal items. Nothing like a cutesy dessert for two... or two desserts. Or three. Also likes to wear matching scarves or matching gloves.
Daigo Dojima
He's also fairly unfamiliar with what couples do during the holidays but he's trying his best. Will take you out for a nice dinner for sure. He tends to prefer attending winter festivals instead of events for more modern holidays so if you're willing to try that, he'd love to go with you! His personal favorite holiday tradition is just enjoying hot tea while watching snow fall.
Mine Yoshitaka
He's pretty inward most of the time so holiday chaos just makes him want to stay home. Usually just decorates inside of his own home, he's not really religious but he likes the appearance of a Christmas tree so he typically goes with that. Would love to shop for some ornaments for you to hang up specifically.
Tatsuo Shinada
Literally all he wants to do is wear a Santa hat. That and probably go bar hopping on Christmas Eve. He's all about just relaxing and having a fun time, so long as he's with you. Would go caroling with you, although be warned he sings a little off key.
Ichiban Kasuga
He's probably one of the few out of all the boys that genuinely isn't picky about doing much during the holidays. As long as he gets to spend time with his loved ones, he's content. If it snows, he's definitely starting a snowball fight though. Would love to check out a holiday market with you though!
Tianyou Zhao
This silly head is making truck loads of homemade steamed buns and drinking a lot of tea and nothing can stop him from accomplishing his tasty holiday mission. He'd love to teach you how to make the buns. Likes watching you proudly place them in the steamer after he's filled them up.
Joon-Gi Han
His ass don't know nothin' about holidays! No, seriously, he's so confused. "Why's there a man in a red suit at the mall today?" Mostly just curious and kind of enamoured by all the activity spiking up all around the city. He's never really had a Christmas or much of any kind of holiday so you'll probably have to show him the ropes. Hot cocoa ends up being his favorite thing.

I have decided that Tumblr Sexyperson HQ is a physical building. Here's some crap I made up about it
Because Sans and Cecil both won tournaments they are now presidents of the HQ, below them is the Sexyman Council (Onceler, Warden, Tony, Bill, Black Hat, Alastor
Members get free therapy because most of them need it, also sometimes they Google themselves and are traumatised
Because of how many members are scientists there's a lab area where they can do experiments and talk nerd shit, some members that use this floor are: Dr Eggman, Jimbotnik, Dr Doofenshmirtz and Flurg
There's also clown and skeleton hang out areas because of how many there are, the skeleton area was designed by Jack Skellington so is very Halloween themed, the clown area is very colourful, has lots of balloons and a ball pit which may or may not have something hiding in there
Some who use the skeleton area are: Sans, Papyrus, Jack Skellington, Lewis Pepper, The Phantom, Itward and the Grim Reaper
Some who use the clown area are: Pennywise, Jevil, Dimentio, Fizzarolli, Ronald McDonald, Buggy and Moon (Sun doesn't like going in cus he's scared of everyone so the room is mostly kept in the dark)
There is a bar and restaurant floor which is also used for parties, any member can get on stage and perform by singing, dancing or doing a comedy routine (Bittergiggle has been banned because every time he tells a joke and no one laughs he has a mental breakdown)
For the ones who either don't have a home or do but it's shit, membership also offers living quarters which are basically small apartments (the more popular they are they bigger and nicer their rooms are) some people who live in the building are: Onceler, Bendy, Spamton, Jevil, Warren (tho he probably lives in a closet)
Sans and Cecil don't decide who's a member and who get's kicked out, it's up to the fans. Sans and Cecil get to decide things to do with the building and events
Alastor refuses to appear at any fan meet n greets because he hates his fans
Baldi and Purple Guy are best friends cus they both really fuckin hate kids
Ban Ban is a member for some reason but he doesn't visit a lot due to the fact no one likes him
Bendy follows Alastor around like a lost puppy because he thinks he's cool (Charlie thinks he's adorable)
Dancing Banana hosts quiz shows where sexymen compete, it's very popular, he also hosts interviews
Sun and Papyrus get along very well and hang out a lot, Sans always stays close by incase the lights go out because Moon is a bitch
Dimentio takes full advantage on how strong Jevil is and has mind controlled him several times, Jevil does not remember any of it other than suddenly appearing in a different location feeling dazed
Duck thinks he's the best sexyman, Sans just goes along with it, he doesn't care enough to argue
Red Guy is like a royal British guard as in people like to do weird shit in front of him to get him to react…no one has gotten one yet
Itward is the Dad friend to everyone, he's good at comforting and lends an ear for venting
The Phantom speaks perfect English but he often pretends he only knows French so he can avoid people
King Dice will sometimes co-host Dancing Bananas shows unless he's busy
Zim, Peepers and Marvin will fight constantly and once they enter a room people will start to leave
Mettaton hates how both Sans and Spamton are so much more popular than him since one is lazy and the other lives in the trash (and has tiny legs)
Onceler and Warden are best friends and share one brain cell (their friendship is similar to Arin and Dans from Game Grumps)
Papi will often bring Popee with him which no one is happy with because he is very explosive (literally) except Moon he encourages the chaos and has pretty much adopted him
Everyone has collectively made a rule that no one may upset Papyrus, anyone who does is shunned and excluded
There is an ongoing war between Ronald McDonald and Colonel Sanders where they both try to put up the most ads for their food places
Sans has a fancy penthouse apartment he only uses for naps, there's toys in it for when Frisk is over as well
Even after everything that happened, Jevil is still good with kids and won't hurt them, one time he found Frisk sitting alone as Sans was in a meeting so he played with them and showed them magic tricks until it was done
Every so often Shrignold will show up and ship everyone with everyone, no one likes him and Tony will have to search the whole building to catch him and kick him out
Larry sees everyone's dreams, he has seen some shit and isn't sure whether Spamton or Jevil have the weirder ones
Slenderman is like a sim, he will walk over to people and join their conversations although he doesn't speak, he just stands there menacingly
The Smiler is there sometimes, no one knows why but they've just accepted it, the people at Alton Towers are still trying to figure out why is keeps disappearing tho
The Onceler has been woken up on several occasions in the early hours of the morning because Spamton and Jevil decided to have a competition on who can make the most noise and keep the other awake (their rooms are right next to each other)

Not A Hero and End of Zoe cutscene talk
theres not a lot but they have some points (and I probably missed some for Not A Hero... I feel like I did)
Not A Hero
1. Lucas: "Is it ready? Can we begin? "I can't help it, man. We've got work to do."
Veronica: "Chris, did we lose him?" Chris: "No, no. Ethan Winters has been secured. He's alive and well, considering." Veronica: "And Lucas Baker? Right now, he's our only link to The Connections." Chris: "He's next on my list.“
we don't learn who Lucas is talking to but we do know its not the connections. Lucas is a double agent selling data to have another group about Evie (and from one of the files we learn why. he thinks the connections won't use Evie properly)
two options: normal feedback from the guys in helicopter when they were flying away and Veronicas comment about how Lucas is their only link lends to that.
but also CONSIDERING WHAT? have you seen RE1 hd Chris alternative outfit looking like the most douchy thing known to man? you know don't judge a book by its cover. But all jokes aside he says this with assurance as if he knows Ethan. And they knew he was going to be there that's what it sounds like to me anyway
2. "dialogue: experiments with an e-type variant": aka these fuckers: fumers and mama molded (later on "I have no idea. its something new. Proceed with extreme caution... white variant is extremely resilient")
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. the son of a bitch has been sending status reports on Evie to the connections: self explanatory this is confirmation of their previous thoughts (briefing document you find in Chris's inventory at the start) and there is a moment of Chris expressing his distaste of working with Blue Umbrella.
4. "if you're gonna kill me just kill me for the love of god shut the fuck up"... no analysis just big ass mood really
5. "Umbrella and Redfield have been taken care of. dealing with them cost me some time cost them a lot more. But I can still get that data to you but we're quits after that" I am going to say this was towards the connections and not the other party but i don't know for sure
6. Lucas "a lot of people out there want to know about out little Evie. a lot of people" Chris: "Your friends, the connections know about this they don't strike me as the forgiving type"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Who are the other people? what was Lucas's plan after he completely betrayed the Connections (... why did Lucas betray the connections? we can infer the why as again he thought they won't use her properly) and of course the criminal organisation won't be forgiving at outright betrayal (or even perceived betrayal for that matter) makes you wonder why explicity Ethan and Mia were moved to where they are in Village (and if they have been moved before)
7. Veronica: "Chris, the data transfer's almost complete!“ Chris: "How do I stop it?" Veronica: "You need a way to shut down the server. There may be some transformer relays you can—“ Chris shoots "OK… that worked. Gonna be some pissed computer techs up here, but—“ Chris: "Cry me a river. What's the sitrep?" Veronica: "The facility is clear. Even the newer breeds have been neutralized." Chris: "Then I'm outta here.“ Veronica: "Perimeter wall is up and operational.“ Chris: "Good. "Think we did any good here?“ Veronica: "Not for them, unfortunately, but the mold is contained. Hopefully, they're Evie's last victims.“ Chris: "Hopefully.“ Veronica: "Chris, there's a call for you. You need to take it back at the camp.“ Chris: "Alright. I'm on my way."
no thoughts about the first part of the bolded text other than it makes me sad. Chris has been in this so long and its just you know tiring for him
now the call back at camp. I am willing to bet that's its Ethan asking him to search for Zoe. And again I ask how can a random normal civilian get a direct line to anyone in this situation let alone Chris Redfield?
End of Zoe
Joe: "What the hell are you boys up to?“ Soldier: "That's her alright. Zoe Baker. She's still breathing. Call in to HQ."
I wonder who wants status reports? also did they get a chance (I hope the prisoner Joe takes took the chance whilst he was out got the call out)
...Soldier: "Listen to me. We're here to help.“ Joe: "No, I don't believe you, boy. Tell me—what kind of help comes in a helicopter gunship.“ Soldier: "You don't know what you're talking' about. You don't get it!“ Joe: "With all these monsters running' around here. Tell me—where'd they come from?“ Soldier: "It's not what you think. You don't understand!“ Joe: "Oh, I don't understand? "You see that girl back there? Look! That there my brother's little girl. My niece. You understand? And around here, family is a righteous cause! And you ain't gonna kill my family! Now see, that ain't something' I can abide.“
Joe was in the military in the Marines specifically but from his questioning he knows about outbreak military suppression groups maybe even aided in one such incident (and after getting discharged went to live in a shack in the swamp close enough to his family but far enough to not know a thing that's happening)
Soldier: "For fuck's sake. She's infected—she's dying—and we're both gonna fuckin' die if we don't get the fuck outta here right now!" Joe: "She ain't dead yet, boy! So I figure you better do something about it. Before I feed you to your little friends outside." Soldier: "OK, OK! "There's a cure.“ Joe: "You're lying to me." Soldier: "I'm not lying... I'm not lying. We were on our way to get her treatment, and you fucked that up when you jumped us! They're probably still waiting for us right now!“ Joe: "Where?"
Joe: "Soldier boy said the meds were at some kind of base... "Now where in all hell did this wall come from…?"
how did Joe miss the wall being constructed? other than him not being close and doesn't go in that direction when he goes hunting?
Joe: "Jack? What the fuck—" Joe: "Goddammit, Jack! Don't you remember your own brother? Don't do it! Don't you touch her! Jack! Let me the fuck outta here! I'm your family! How the fuck could you do this to me? Get me the fuck outta here, Jack!"... Joe: "Goddammit. Aw hell, Jacky-boy... What's happened to you?"
startling realisation and trying to reason with Jack but it won't work (again I think Joe drowned the screen goes black and he gets up at the Baker estate)
"attacked by unknown bioweapon"
Jack gets around quite a bit (considering he can teleport- it would be cool if what he was actually doing was disolving into the ground and reforming wherever he needs to go but alas the garage opening scene exists)
"You're just a rabid dog now. And I'm gonna put you outta your misery."
I had a thought so we see don't see Jack crystalise (I say calcify is better description) after the chainsaw fight but we do see him do so in the boathouse and his legs turn as well in this last boss so his upper half turned into the monster in the boathouse (kinda like fear street and the kids trying to blow up the killers and watching them reform though in this case its both reform and deform)
Joe Baker: "This is a farewell from the family, brother!... Zoe...!"
its just a badass line what can I say?
Chris: "Weapons down. Weapons down! It's alright. You must be Zoe Baker." Joe: "Who the hell's asking?" Chris: "Chris Redfield. We've been looking all over for you. We're here to help."
there is element of Chris helping look for Zoe being that she can be helped. that she wasn't a lost cause. But it seems like there was a lot of effort going into her search all for one person (also I wonder if their search is what woke Jack up or was Jack searching the entire time)
BEST CUTSCENE
Zoe: "I was trapped with those monsters for 3 years—all of them trying to kill me... I can't believe it's finally over.“ Joe: "Ya gotta know, deep down somewhere, they were still your family and they loved you. Especially your daddy... even in his final days.“ Chris: "We found her. She's a tough kid. Yeah, of course. Hang on."
"Someone wants to speak to you."
Ethan: "Zoe? Zoe, are you there?“ Zoe: "It's you! I don't believe it. You actually made it." Ethan: "We both did."
Zoe: "You didn't forget about me."
Ethan: "I told you I'd send help. And I always keep my promises."
Zoe: "Thank you, Ethan."
I wonder if whilst Zoe was being checked up they were explaining what happened to Joe and and Joe came to this rightful conclusion (Jack wanted to bring his baby home)
Chris updating Ethan on finding her over and handing the phone over. (I would love to know what the conversation was like on Ethans end and before Chris came into the tent)
Ethan has to have some kind of authority for some reason to be able to say this with confidence. And you know getting Chris to personally update him AND hand the phone over (again normal civilians can't do this?)
I love this bit what can I say

Some Lingering Questions, Part 3
Today the big question is: what's up with Barnaby?
Is Barnaby incompetent?
There is a consistent mismatch between what we're told about Barnaby and the things that Barnaby actually does. Barnaby does act like an idiot, like the four times he overindulges, and there's no denying that he's a very cruel person (c.f. Magic, Ghosts, Danger, & Death).
However, it's my read that Barnaby is the de facto head of the Fortescue family. His parents are apparently very checked out (The Horrors of Castle Wisenshire). We are both told and shown that the Fortescues have a vast investment portfolio, and Barnaby seems to have granular, unchallenged control over their investments (Dead Man's Debt, Ironhook's Bounty, Fate of the Dimmer Sisters, Magic, Ghosts, Danger, & Death). There is no suggestion that Barnaby has to consult his parents or any sort of board or advisor in order to direct investments worth thousands or tens of thousands of Coins.
Never mind how I came to this bullshit figure, which involved an inflation calculator, modern construction estimates, and the price of the Graybar Building, but I think Barnaby's investment in Astor HQ could reasonably be pegged at something like 6 million USD in 2023 dollars. I cannot translate that into Coin for you, because that's not how Coin works (BitD CRB). But if Barnaby is not a good investor, then presumably the head of their finances (his father, perhaps) could just remove his ability to invest. Either Barnaby is very good with money, or he has control of the family's finances, or both. The amount of money Barnaby spends on being an idiot is far outstripped by the amount of money that he makes for the family; if all nine of Barnaby's ruined coats cost 50 Coin a pop, he paid all of it back in one stock trade in The Fate of the Dimmer Sisters.
There are two complicating factors. The first is that Mike is a very pragmatic player who takes sure bets over long odds. I said what I said; is just murking everyone in the level not more pragmatic than forty-five minutes of elaborate stealth? Until very recently, Egbert consistently used bombs over his mace because the bombs are more powerful*, and as much flak as Mike gets for it, Andy agreed once he saw Egbert's character sheet (A Fete Worse Than Death). Mike rolled the most crits of anyone in OitD, and that's because they were all Resolve (command, consort, or sway) rolls. If you always do the thing you're the strongest in, you will always have a character who gets more done, regardless of their characterization. That's how math works.
Second, I don't think Barnaby wants people to know if he's competent or not. I don't think it suits his purposes.
2. Was Barnaby in line to become a Brightener?
We know that the Fortescues have been a powerful/moneyed family since before the Cataclysm (Wedded Redemption). They were among the Brighteners from the beginning (The Horrors of Castle Wisenshire), and they still maintain a seat, currently filled by Earl Montgomery Fortescue (To the Depths!).
Barnaby has never been told about the Brighteners (The Horrors of Castle Wisenshire), which is unsurprising. The level to which Uncle Monty actually cares about the mission anymore is up for debate, but almost certainly he was going to try to keep on living. The only other relative of Barnaby's that we know is Percy Pomeroy, Monty apparently having no children and Barnaby apparently having no siblings, and Barnaby is the one Uncle Monty wanted to draw in.
Barnaby is also able to convince the Red Sashes and Roth at the Barricade that he's turned on the Hobbyhorses to join the Brighteners (Magic, Ghosts, Danger, and Death). I don't think the Red Sashes are great evidence, but I think Roth ended up knowing a lot about the Brighteners. If Roth thought it was a reasonable development, it probably was.
--
* Egbert's bombs were being calculated at 3d6 (9) damage, and his mace was 1d6 (3) or 1d6+1d8 (7) with smite. It should have been 3d6+2+3, 1d6+4+3, and 1d6+1d8+4+3, respectively, which gives bombs and mace+smite an even 14 average damage. Johnny has since leveled up the mace, which is now hands down the better choice; the mace also should have counted as a magical weapon.

Yeah I'm doing it
The transcript for my messages is below
Most of it except the last section is just a plot summary but. shhhhh whatever
---
And finally, THIS EPISODE
(Honestly this one doesn't even need to be seen as romantic it's really cute regardless,,,,,)
Tumblr media
First off I screenshotted the title screen before I even started the episode for Obvious Reasons ඞඞඞ
I already knew that an episode titled "The Fungus Amongus" was coming up because I'd looked through the playlist, but they also had to do the font in RED?
But anyway. The episode was actually really good, despite it bringing back a Master Belch fuckin lookalike villain who I did not particularly enjoy the first appearance of
The returning villain found a fungus that eats through metal, and he wanted to use it to get revenge on 1. Betty, 2. The entire Galactic Association by destroying their HQ
And this is one of those rare episodes where the Big Potential Danger To Robots actually *does* affect X-5!
X-5 gets attacked by the fungus after it attacks the crew's spaceship, and is taken hostage by the episode's villain. And Yeah! He is Very Much in danger of Actually Dying! The villain threatens as such, unless they tell him the location of the Galactic Headquarters.
And X-5 is like “yeah no, no Galactic Guardian would *ever* tell you that, no matter what.” So the villain makes good on his threat and sics the fungus on him.
And as the fungus starts to eat away at X-5's protective shield coating, Sparky blurts out the coordinates. Sparky. NOT Betty. Betty was panicked too, but it actually seems like she wasn't going to say anything? She even covers Sparky's mouth after he gives the location. (Not that I'm bashing her though)
Sparky was willing to put the entirety of the Galactic Headquarters at risk to save X-5’s life.
Read it whatever way you want, platonic, romantic, whatever, it's still just— OUGH. He CARES. Despite all his jabs and teasing, Sparky DOES genuinely really care about X-5!!
And yeah sure, knowing Sparky, he probably wasn't thinking about all the long-term consequences of revealing the Galactic HQ's location (unlike Betty and X-5). Especially since he and Betty only had like 6 seconds to make a decision. But he still would've known that doing that would be Bad, and he still chose X-5 over it anyway.
It later turns out that the fungus can be eradicated by some soup Sparky had been making before everything went down ((which, by the way, he was making for X-5 to help with a ‘cold’ that he had—which was likely more something akin to an allergic reaction right before the fungus attacked the ship))
But when Betty asks Sparky for some of the soup, having figured out the fungus’ weakness, Sparky's like “okay, but this is hardly the time to be eating, you know!”
SPARKY.
THE GUY WHO'S ALMOST CONSTANTLY EATING, NO MATTER THE SITUATION.
Even Sparky himself is surprised he said that.
Then at the end, once HQ has been saved from the swarm of fungus, DeGill wonders aloud how the villain even managed to find its location, X-5 rats Sparky out. And y'know what, I'm just gonna give you the transcript for the conversation:
X-5: That was Sparky. He gave away the location.
Sparky: Hey, I only did that to save you, you ungrateful sardine can!
X-5: Ungrateful sardine can..? Truth is, you like me! *He leans in for what I am choosing to interpret as a hug* You really like me!
Sparky: Do not!
X-5: Do to!
Sparky: Do not!
X-5: Do t-
Sparky: Not!
X-5: Do!
Sparky can try to deny it all he likes, but the truth is obvious <3. And I just think the scene is really cute?? X-5 seems so happy to know that Sparky does genuinely care about him.
---
It does make me wonder though about X-5 maybe being a little insecure about his place in the crew? Because of how happy and relieved he is to get confirmation that Sparky cares about him, and also one of his lines earlier in the episode, “I didn't know Sparky cared that much about... Metal.” (which. AUGH? You are so much more than just metal, my boy!! Don't let anyone make you think otherwise).
But it would kinda make sense for him to be worried about that. In some ways, he could kinda be seen as the most 'replaceable' member of the crew? I say this with him as my favourite character, and I don't think Betty or Sparky would think that, but like. X-5 is very heavily connected to their Star Cruiser. He can still exist and function just fine away from it, but the two are a package deal. And if the crew wanted to upgrade to a new, more advanced ship, it would come with a new robot companion (as seen in Bye-Bye X-5 from Season 1). Which would mean X-5 wouldn't really be 'needed' anymore, and he and the old Star Cruiser could be abandoned sent to 'retirement' in Crushton. So in a way, X-5's 'worth' is tied to how useful he is to his crew.
Now, I do believe (or at least fuckin hope) that Betty and Sparky care enough about X-5 as a person to want to keep him around even as they upgrade the rest of their technology. But I could still understand X-5 feeling anxious about the whole thing—and thus being very very happy and relieved when his crew proves that they do care about his well-being, even if, logically, they could just find another robot to perform his duties and replace him if he were to die.
I do kinda wish this episode took place much earlier in the series' timeline, though. I'd love for it to mark a turning point in X-5 and Sparky's relationship, where this is where X-5 realizes that Sparky does genuinely like him in spite of what all his insults may suggest (meanwhile he's always deeply respected Betty as a leader, and Betty's never treated him too poorly). But... By the time The Fungus Amongus takes place, the crew have been Galactic Guardians for multiple years at that point. The idea that X-5 has been insecure about his place in the team for that long makes me sad.

Best Cassie & Cordell Scene Analysis
Being partners, Cassie and Cordell get a lot of screentime together. Because of this, picking just one great scene of them together isn't an easy task. However, I have to agree with the consensus on this poll that them talking and planning what to do about Cordell's current situation at the convenience store in 3x15 is one of the best.
Following the explosion at the safe house, Cordell is on the run from the rangers, local law enforcement, and the FBI. Being suspect number 1, he can't exactly go home or talk to any of his friends at ranger HQ, so he fled the scene of the explosion and drove until he ran out of gas. He knew he needed to hunt down Kevin and bring him in if he wanted any hope of proving his innocence. But Cassie, being the great partner she is, wasn't about to let him do that without backup, so she tracked him down behind the FBI's back. She found him at a gas station and they went into a convenience store to talk about what happened and what they needed to do from there.
Ignoring all the dialog for a moment, I cannot get over all the touches in this scene. This is the only scene in which Cordell and Cassie are equally touchy with each other. Usually Cassie is the only one doing the touching or at the very least, she's initiating them. Cordell tends to be more reserved with his physical affection, only reaching out when one or both of them is in some kind of distress (still freaking out about how he cradles her whole hand when taking the keys to the lockbox from her in 3x05. You know, when they think it's a bomb and they're about to die.) In this scene, there are times when he's practically clutching onto her, though whether it's for comfort or because he's running purely on adrenaline is up for debate.
(Also I have to laugh a little at how hard it is for Cordell to hide here.)
Now, getting into the meat of this scene.
Cordell and Cassie are both shaken up by what happened earlier (in more ways than one). Cassie is mostly concerned for Cordell and where his head his at. The first thing she asks is what he was thinking when he ran off and he has to explain everything Julia told him, how she died, and how he found out they made him suspect number one. It's difficult for him to talk about it, stuttering every few words, and we can see the anger dripping out of Cassie as she turns more sympathetic and understanding. She knows how this looks; it looks like a corrupt ranger killed the journalist that was about to blow the whistle on him.
Which brings them both to the horrifying realization that it seems like Kevin plotted all of this from the beginning. He inserted himself into their lives just for this moment to happen.
This prompts Cassie to ask what Cordell's next move is. She wants to help but she also knows he needs to be the one calling the shots. Kevin is trying to ruin him and Cordell needs to be the one to stop him because they won't get help from anyone else.
The only thing she contradicts him on is that he's fine. She knows he's not fine. Ignoring the emotional distress, he was in close proximity to an explosion. Her big concern now is his physical wellbeing and how badly he needs rest. Thankfully, he listens to her and Cassie takes charge from there, buying prepaid phones for them to keep in touch so he can tell her his next move.
And then, she has to return to ranger HQ. She tells him to be careful and that she'll let him know if she finds anything else out. She seems reluctant to leave, but she doesn't have any other choice. They can't be seen together and she needs to do what she can to keep the FBI off his trail.
This is such a rough moment for both of them. They're both still reeling from eveything Kevin did to them but they don't have time to stop and process. They have to keep moving or he'll get the upper hand, again. But Cassie is there for Cordell and she won't let him forget it. And that's probably what I love most about this scene, how she refuses to let him be alone (or more than six inches away from her).
This is also another great example of how these two are able to keep themselves calm for each other. Similar to the Luncheon scene, where Cassie goes from spiraling over seeing Kevin again to keeping it together to support Cordell when he sees Julia, she's able to tamp down her anger to support Cordell during his time of need.

any general headcanons for carrington ?
he is . my favorite fictional man rn . hope you don't mind me taking advantage of the fact that you like him as well and your asks always being open BKDCJSXBSN
Dude I LOVE seeing you in my asks dw!!! I haven't thought about my blorbo Carrington in so long I'm going to have fun with this <3<3<3
Doctor Carrington Headcanons!
Okay let's get this out of the way: he's not just an asshole for the sake of being an asshole!
The dude's so damn stressed all the time! Especially after what happened at Switchboard, he feels responsible because he's the second in command
That's one of the reasons Des trusts him so much. He's not good at lying or recon work but he is good at self-dicipline, planning, and being the only mature one.
Although I feel like he's always been a bit moody, even before all that
Given that everyone other than Des and PAM are basically children with guns (looking at you especially, Deacon) he ends up feeling like a parent to most of the other agents
And he really hates feeling like a parent
This is a bit out there so bear with me, but at some point before he joined the Railroad he managed to help a child. Maybe one who survived an Institute raid on a settlement? They were the only survivor and he took them under his wing.
Despite his best efforts the child died from a preventable cause, like an infection
It really hit him hard and despite his trauma around helping vulnerable people (especially children) he became a doctor so others wouldn't have to suffer like the kid did
Then the Railroad contacted him and you know the rest
He prefers working in the Railroad over anywhere else, though. He's very introverted and appreciates the familiar faces and quiet work environment, plus most agents tend to respect him purely because he's been working there for ten or more years
He has dyslexia. Don't know where this headcanon came from. I think it was me projecting onto him but then I made it Canon In My Mind when I vaguely mentioned it in my Carrington fic (heed the tags if you're gonna read)
He gets headaches often due to his dyslexia and the ridiculous amount of paper work he has to go through (where does Des even get all that paper and ink!?), plus a fair share of sleep deprivation, dehydration, stress...
Deep down he worries a lot for the other agents. If Glory dies (I refuse to let Glory's death be canon in my mind, hence the if) it permanently messes with him and his self worth
He gives off angry Sudoku player vibes. Glory or Des will be like "chill out it's supposed to be relaxing" and Carrington is losing his mind like "where the HELL do I put the DAMN FIVE"
A lot of fanon says him and Deacon genuinely hate each other but I really disagree
He respects Deacon a lot and recognizes that he does a lot more behind the scenes than anyone knows, but he also realizes just how much of a martyr he is and just how little he cares about his own health
In the past, whenever Deacon came back hurt or sick, Carrington would try to convince him to slow down, stop running into danger, and even open up about his problems. Needless to say it didn't work.
They've got something alike to a friendship going, though. Deacon teases him, all in good fun, and Carrington doesn't point out when he's limping around HQ, or when he "borrows" a stimpack or two from his desk. He just leaves out painkillers and antibiotics in hopes Deacon with "borrow" those, too.
I'm very... partial on his relationship with Tom or Des
I feel like Tom's got A Lot Going On and it's kinda fucky that the Railroad seemingly caused his schizophrenia (?) to develop and ignored it because they needed him?
Tumblr media
Although if anything it sounds like Carrington was worried about his health and Des was the one to ignore it, hopefully out of ignorance and not purposfully. I can't imagine Des knowingly letting Tom fall into drug addictions and paranoia, and Carrington is vocal enough that he probably would have argued with Des if he knew it was getting that bad as well
I like to think he keeps a close eye on Tom either way. He's always trying to pick up books on mental health because he's mostly focused on physical health in his day to day life, and he's taught Tom some grounding strategies over the years.

bestie hello i just saw the trans arankita post (which is so absolutely correct in every possible way) and. i am here for the autistic hcs pls tell us them
el!!!! i can go on for so long about this too
so i'm not writing a novel tonight, i'll just do some of my favorite hcs. it'll probably be all over the place lmao
should i clarify that i'm autistic before i start
characters i don't have to explain: kageyama. ushijima. aone. i don't have to explain bokuto but i love him so...
bokuto: emotional dysregulation anyone? hiding in small spaces? being upset about shit that doesn't make sense to other people? come on y'all. volleyball is obviously his special interest (like many other hq characters...) i think he also gets sensory overloads, like lights, sounds, textures, etc. being too much
kita: that bitch is autistic. just look at him. kita has so many routines. everything has a certain order it should go in. everything has a place it should be. he's generally very calm and it takes a LOT happening for him to get overstimulated. he's also so confused by social interactions all the time and has a hard time identifying his emotions. aran is his neurotypical and emotions interpreter
akaashi: is it projection? stfu. maybe. anyway. have y'all seen his interactions with people? have you seen how analytical he is? it's the autism. he's very aware of other people and makes sure he's following societal rules that he's taught himself. he can get overstimulated easily because he's super anxious. he has a lot of food sensitivities in the sense of like of like his food might suddenly taste Not Right and he can't eat it anymore. he also has trouble recognizing hunger and thirst cues. sh tw - i think if he has a really bad meltdown he tends to hit himself no i'm not projecting leave me alone
kuroo: hear me out on this one! kuroo is really "manipulative" and good at socializing because he's really fucking good at mimicking and masking. how shy he was when he was a kid? that was just autism. and his special interest was volleyball! but as he got older he got really fucking good at masking. but with that, he ends up draining himself a lot because he never stops masking. he never gives himself breaks and will run himself into the ground. i think he'll also go nonverbal sometimes, kinda like back when he was a kid, but it's in the "words hurt to come out" kinda way
kenma: i really don't need to explain him either, you all know why. but i'll give some of my hcs. kenma will ignore hunger and thirst cues. he knows he should drink/eat, but will not take care of it sometimes. i think he can get very overstimulated and sensory overload, especially when socializing
the twins: i'm gonna lump them together, sorry lmao. i think they're both autistic and share a lot of similar traits like emotional dysregulation to a certain extent, being oblivious to social cues, overstimulation (but in different ways). they both like routine but again in different ways, atsumu likes daily routines in the sense of things have an order they go in, things happen at a certain time. osamu likes routines in things staying the same. he doesn't like change that he's not prepared for. (when sakuatsu start dating, he hates kiyoomi for a while because it's something different with his most important person) i think it took a lot longer for them to realize osamu was also autistic because he spent a lot of time accommodating atsumu. atsumu would be a lot more vocal (aka loudly upset/having meltdowns) over shit that bothered him, but osamu wasn't as noticeable. but! osamu does also have meltdowns, they just look different. osamu's meltdowns look like blind anger, and once atsumu realizes that, he doesn't always respond to osamu's anger with violence
i have other hcs and there are other characters that i think are autistic, but here's some of my favorites!

i am having the hardest of times trying to formulate my thoughts because when I try to comment on something, i just end up reading the whole fic again and again. i have to tell you—oikawa isn’t even my favorite character (it’s kuroo!), but your characterization of him is so utterly brilliant that i come back for more. you already knowwww how i feel about your characterization, but what really stood out to me for this specific fic is how deeply layered everything is? how you were able to present two conflicting emotions, yet weave everything together so seamlessly? oikawa’s duality — how he presents himself as the almost too perfect husband and father all the while having complete control and forcing the reader into a horrible situation. how the reader feels about hatori — both trying her best to care for the boy, but also having those moments where she can’t help but resent him for getting her into this situation in the first place. not to mention her own feelings towards oikawa — recognizing he destroyed her life, but admitting to herself that under all that, she probably loves him too. hating her own daughter; calling her a parasite, but also her child being the reason she has the courage to leave. you’re too much.. you’re too much rhi!! seriously, you’re an actual genius and i hope you’re doing amazing in life. if not, i will personally fight your demons. just lmk.
GRR i just wish she brought hatori along with her. yes, he’s oikawa’s son… and yes, a part of her blames him for all this.. but Also, she knows how oikawa will raise him. how the abuse and isolation wouldn’t stop with her :(( oh poor baby, he really deserves the world. sweet boy
sorry for this long message, i could go much longer but i’ll spare you from my wailing. i love you. thank you so much for writing this and shattering the bar.
p.s. that little hermit crab fact made me giggle and added some warmth into this sadness - 🐦
sorry for the long message, she says, as if this ask isn't sending me to another plane ghfjdkfvhbfjdkls I LOVE YOU!!
also you're just gonna come in and drop the fact that kUROO is your fave?? ma'am?!??! honestly i miss writing for kuroo he was one of my first hq loves, it's been over a year y'all have been so patient over this kuroo drought.
but yeah, this one definitely has a whole lot of mixed emotions. poor reader loves her kids so much but :((
and hatori, okay first of he is the cutest i know i wrote him but he is the most adorable little 2.5 year old and i would fight the world for him. the reader would too. it kills her to leave him behind, but running away on her own is one thing. oikawa can go to the police and file a missing person's report and all the officers would take it Very Seriously (but she's probably just mad at a fight you guys had they're sure she'll be back soon).
running off with his son would be kidnapping, and going to the police with that is a whooole other story. in the meantime though, poor hatori's gonna bear the brunt of oikawa's shall we say 'issues' until he gets his wifey back. sweet bby boy won't be out of his sight for a minute.
also the hermit crab thing?? i don't think y'all realise how often i have to stop myself from dropping stupid weird little facts into all of my fics. i saw this opportunity to share my hermit crab knowledge and was like :)) perfect :)) bhvjfkdlfjhvgjfkdl
but ahh i'm so glad you liked it babe!!! i love you, you're wonderful, i am sending you ALL the kisses <33 enjoy the rest of your weekend my love!

95 - ZITTI E BUONI by Måneskin
(translation to english)
If you told him two years ago that Wakatoshi would be running from the cops with the boss of a rival gang, he would've laughed. (And that means a lot, because he rarely ever smiles, let alone laughs.)
But here he is, on the top of a shed, pulling up Sawamura so they can escape through the garden of the family living in this house. At least Wakatoshi assumes that it's a family, judging by the bikes and footballs lying around on the grass. Then there's a gunshot and he realizes that he doesn't have the time to think about bikes and balls and families. (Although he feels a little bad for this one when they trample through their vegetable garden.)
"Stop dreaming!" Sawamura shouts and grabs him by the wrist, pulling him over to the fence. Wakatoshi does as he's told, despite not being the type to take orders, and jumps, lands, tumbles, runs. Soon the wailing of the sirens dies down behind them and they stop to catch a breath.
"Man, that was close." Sawamura laughs and Wakatoshi thinks that it's beautiful how he can have so much fun with something so dangerous. "Are you okay?"
"I'm good." The last person to ask him if he was okay was Tendou, half an eternity ago, before he got a bullet in the chest. It feels strangely good to have someone care for him again. (No one cares for gang bosses, and especially not the ones from high class elite gangs, the once who usually blackmail the cops instead of running away from them.)
"That must've been totally new for you, hm?" Sawamura smirks, opening the door of his hideout and letting Wakatoshi in. "I bet you never had to run from anyone before."
"I won't go against that." The sofa is old and dusty, but unlike the sofas in their own HQ, it does look like home rather than the waiting room of a dentist's office.
"Were you scared?"
"A little, maybe."
"First time is always scary. By now, we know where to go and where to hide. There are certain places cops can't follow."
There are very, very few people who Wakatoshi takes advice from, but he's able to acknowledge when it's necessary. Sawamura is definitely more skilled when it comes to running away than he is.
"Thank you for showing me how to do it."
"Don't mention it." Sawamura winks at him and it makes warmth spreads in Wakatoshi's chest. "It was a real controversy, but I don't think these things should be reserved for Karasuno only."
"But… these are your ways, right? I kind of understand why your friends wouldn't want me to know about them."
"Yeah, but sometimes it's good to let someone new walk your ways. They might find a shortcut you were unable to see, because you were too focused on what was already there."
Sawamura Daichi is a wise man, which is something Wakatoshi has been aware of before, but learns to appreciate anew every single day." You're probably right."
"Of course I am!" and then Sawamura steals a quick kiss from him, as if it's the most normal thing to do.
Maybe for him, it is. There's freedom in the Karasuno ways, freedom to do and take whatever you want whenever you want, freedom to fall out of line and be wild, be rebellious, be out of the box. A freedom Wakatoshi isn't used to yet, but if it means that Sawamura will be there along this new way they choose together, he thinks that maybe, someday, he could be.

I'm curious, what are your thoughts on how the companions in the game would react to the events of Sim Settlements 2 if they could. (I mean, it's mighty impressive what the team already managed to do with them, but I am asking the queen of this niche fandom to feed our endless hunger.)
Yes, Sirick did an amazing job with the companion comments! I was quite surprised when both Nick and Piper had brief interactions with The Ron! And Preston recognizing Aiden, an ex-minuteman, was a really nice touch!
I wish I knew all the comments he used so I wouldn't have anything contradicting something they actually say, but what the heck. Here's how the "queen of this niche fandom" would fill the gaps. :D
Damn, this took a while! Pardon if anything feels out of character, it's been a while since I traveled with most of them.
Oh, and SPOILER WARNING for chapter 2, obviously.
F4 companions react to SS2
Cait: the biggest change of opinion
Being one of the two who dislike helping settlements, she would scoff and taunt at first. She doesn't trust Jake, thinks he's hiding something since he's "too nice". But since the player won't let that stop them, she backs off to observe and to mostly just help out in the fights. She won't show interest until the new plot types are found, since those plots give a much clearer improvement to the settlements, like a bar and a proper place to work out.
When the trouble with the Gunners starts, she absolutely hates the idea of the Gunners getting the sensors and now doesn't mind spending so much time in the settlements (heck, she's probably made a few new friends by now! ...like Sneake!). However, deep down, she is rather scared of their odds, knowing just how many Gunners are out there and what they're capable of.
I don't think she'd like Aiden much, especially when he tells the player to leave their "cheer squad" behind. Like "you afraid I'll steal your kills or something?". No matter how it gets done, she's quite relieved about Algernon, since this meant an upper hand and fewer Gunners to deal with. No matter how much she hated Gunners, she could respect a reasonable one. When Old Paul dies, she leaves the room to not be seen shedding a tear. And after all that, she's 110% done with the Gunners and ready to take the fight to them, voting for Aiden's plan. And don't you dare spare Berman or she'll kill him herself.
(Oh, and I think she'd like Raphael... maybe...)
Codsworth: the second visionary
Being very familiar with RobCo, Codsworth never doubted what Jake said about the sensors. He gets excited about the project and offers to help the settlers in whatever way he can. He's happy about the idea of bringing back civilization, cheerfully talking about the future and making jokes like they'd one day have bottles of milk delivered to front porches again.
He gets quite focused on improving the settlements' defenses when the Gunner threat starts, even urging the player to join the Minutemen if they haven't already. He tries to keep morale up and will probably even lift Jake's spirits, assuring him he's not to blame. And when Jake gets kidnapped, he'll be about as worried - if not more - as the player. He's pleasantly surprised about Algernon, him being a promising ally and an interesting man. And when meeting Lupe, he's back to his cheerful self, eager to get back to work on keeping the good folks safe.
With the CPD and Nightingales, he's again reminiscing about the comforts of the pre-war life. He's supportive of both causes and likes to work with them.
When Old Paul is killed, he's ready to comfort the player - and he might be in need of comfort himself, poor guy. If the player dismisses him at some point after taking care of Paul's body and fetching Cola, he will look after the little pup to the best of his abilities. And then, if taken with to the battle at the Plaza, he'll vote for Jake's plan. And with HQ, well, he's quite excited to help with anything, probably clean the place like no other could. And after all this, he'll think about his master/mistress' work and think about how proud the spouse would've been.
Curie: the Nightingale fan
Much like Codsworth, she's excited about seeing the comforts of the pre-war life return. She's quite fascinated about the sensors and likes to help map things out, keep things organized and with the settlers' health in mind. As for Jake, she loves how well-mannered and good-hearted he is. This project of his is admirable and she looks forward to what the future holds. With trial and error, she is certain the Commonwealth will one day be thriving thanks to Jake and the player.
When people start to get sick, she manages to help the ones with the less serious diseases, then keeps an eye out for medicine. When learning about the Nightingales from one of their traveling doctors, she's eager to meet and work with them.
With the Gunner problem, she's much like Codsworth and believes in team work, to stand their ground and fight for a better life. When Jake is kidnapped, Curie is quite worried for his safety and quickly checks his wounds when the player comes back with him. She's relieved to know the outcome and is happy about the new allies.
And much like Codsworth, she checks on the player after Old Paul's death and happily takes care of Cola if dismissed, even carries the pup back to the settlement if she's in her synth body. And when it's time for the battle, she'd be very sad if you'd choose Aiden's plan. Inviting the Nightingales would be a nice idea, as she plans to heal any and all survivors too.
If left to work at HQ, she'd have Cedric call the player a bit earlier, having already determined the cause but still thinks they need help from the Nightingales. Also, while she doesn't like visiting her old vault, she likes working with Cedric and hang out with him.
Paladin Danse: the friendly bigot
As soon as he understands the true potential of the sensors, he really believes in the vision of the future but also thinks they should involve the Brotherhood more. To get their help with the Comm Hub and minimize the risk of it being stolen, but it never happens (either because the Brotherhood is too busy or because he can't convince Jake to let them even touch it, maybe both). He can respect that and waits patiently for the next opportunity. In the meantime, he likes seeing the people of the Commonwealth thrive. (And, of course, if the player has done his personal quest, he won't press on it, instead focus on experiencing this adventure like a common citizen)
Depending on the situation with the Institute, he will like the adventure and working on settlements, but will occasionally remind the player of how important it is to stop the Institute before they get their hands on the sensors. But he will stop when the Gunner threat starts, even do what he can to get the Brotherhood to help (if he's still a part of it). He will look at the tragedy objectively but ends with some encouraging words for Jake, being rather annoyed with Aiden too. So, just like Cait, he's also not thrilled when Jake gets kidnapped and Aiden tells the player to leave their companions behind. He doesn't trust Aiden but will listen to the player.
With the Gunners, he tries to be impartial. He hates them for being such ruthless mercenaries, but he can accept Algernon and see him as a valuable ally. He'll trust the player's judgement and won't mind Aiden's plan (if the player doesn't ally with Algernon), even if he dislikes the vigilante.
With HQ, he's quite impressed, looking back at the player's journey. He'll consider them and their friends a brand new faction and valuable allies to the Brotherhood. Or if his personal quest is done, he'll feel much better about life and be more than happy to serve in security... even if it means Aiden is his new CO. ...maybe he'll ask to join engineering instead so he can work in the weapon and armor labs.
Deacon: the informed one
He knew about the sensors, but never got to see them in action, never finding a working one and Tinker Tom being too busy to learn the new tech. Other things had higher priority, so he was quite happy when Jake showed a working one.
Being rather good at seeing people's talents, I'd imagine him hanging out with settlers and kind of work like the Vit-O-Matic, being able to judge their character and suggest workplaces and such. And having kept his eyes open for ASAM stuff in the past out of curiosity, he'd probably know a few things even Jake didn't know. In fact, it'd be quite funny if Deacon had learned about the ASAM stuff at Vault-Tec's HQ but didn't have time to investigate, and so he sold the info to The Ron, which would've been a fun moment when they go and investigate it.
Being rather used to things being too good to be true, he wasn't very surprised when the Gunners attacked but it wasn't time to give up yet. He could see the potential and the cause was good. It's worth fighting for. And hey, he'd REALLY like to see the Gunners try against the Laser Artillery Cannons parked in a few settlements.
As much as he'd love to infiltrate the Gunner vault... again, he lets Aiden have his way and stays behind. However, he knows about Algernon and pulls the player aside to advise them to go in peacefully. He thinks it's best to keep the good Gunners on their side. With the HQ built, he loves what they've done with the place and won't mind helping out, but he must continue his work. ...he would like a box of sensors, though. You know, to upgrade the Railroad's HQ. And hey, he'll keep Jake's secret and keep an eye out for Katelyn and Laura.
Dogmeat: the good boy
Like most things the player does, he's more than happy to tag along. This is no exception. He likes Jake, he likes how the places improve so quickly with unique buildings and so many new people. He's especially excited when you rescue Cola and he takes every chance he gets to check on her. Especially after they lost Paul.
Hancock: Just like the motto
It's not a bad idea, rebuilding the Commonwealth, and he'd bet some good stuff on your success. It's of the people, for the people. You give them the tools to make a better life for themselves. How could he not like that? He also likes the idea of maybe improving things in Goodneighbor, seeing how the sensors are definitely easy enough for chem-heads to build something for themselves. It might strip the place of some charm but he's sure most folks wouldn't mind if it meant a better home.
He loves the adventure and to help out so many settlements. Eventually, he'll make jokes about alliance agreements and Diamond City possibly losing their crown soon. He believes in the cause and wasn't too surprised it caught the Gunners' attention. The empire has been built, time for the war to keep it. He's quite skeptic about Algernon but trusts the player's judgement and eventually grows to like the old captain. Some Gunner boys can play nice after all. But that Berman guy. When you get to him, could ya give Hancock a chance to give him a good punch in the face? ...call it some history from when that prick was a Diamond City guard.
The reason he traveled with the player was to make sure he hasn't lost sight of what matters, so it wasn't meant to be permanent. So, like Deacon, he still has a job to do elsewhere. Not that he thinks he'd be of much use to your new headquarters. No, keep up the good work, fellow leader. You gave him one hell of an adventure and he looks forward to the new Commonwealth.
MacCready: the amazed dreamer
Being a fan of sci-fi comic books, he gets really amazed by the sensors and thinks they're super cool, probably cooler than the tech used to colonize Mars in the Captain Cosmos stories. He's eager to try it out himself and build a house. He had heard about the incredible power of a G.E.C.K, and compares it to this project.
He's quick to pick up how Jake rarely asks for something in return to all the help he gets and has his suspicions. But it's hard to imagine the guy being any kind of threat, so he doesn't let it get in the way. And when the truth gets out, after the Gunners attacked, there's no reason for him to be suspicious of the guy. He's empathetic, and might even mention his own situation to Jake (if his quest is completed). Knowing the Gunners, he'd urge Jake to get some defenses or something to better protect himself. But Jake still ends up kidnapped, which doesn't surprise him.
He doesn't like Aiden, quick to suggest ditching the guy. But even he can't stop Aiden from tagging along. And maybe, like Deacon, he knows Algernon and asks the player to sneak in without killing anyone, since they might be able to reason with the old captain.
Seeing the advancements in medicine, he'd probably be quicker to ask the player to help him with the cure to Duncan's disease, if they haven't done so already.
With the war, he probably prefers killing as many Gunners as possible, but if the player allies with Algernon, there's no debate. Jake's plan, please. And he too would like to see Berman dead for reasons of the past, and he'd check if you got shot in the head if you spare him. And after all that, setting up the HQ and making this grand empire, he's more than happy to serve as a guard. And, one day, he'd like to go and get Duncan, since he can't think of a better place for them to live.
Nick: the supportive voice of reason
He's seen the advertisements and have been a bit curious about them. To see them in action was quite fun and he likes the idea of trying to better the Commonwealth. He knows a little bit about Jake's story from the time he came to the agency, asking for help. The lead went cold, so he couldn't help the lad. He keeps it a secret until Jake tells it to the player, then adds how he's glad he didn't give up hope. He seems like a good man, so it'd been a shame if he let the cold trail get to him.
As for the Gunner threat, Nick tries his best to help the player and Jake stay calm and come up with a plan. If they tell all the settlements about it, warn them of the threat, the settlers could choose whether or not to stay and fight. It's the responsible thing to do, and they might be surprised just how many are willing to fight for what they have, even if it's against a Gunner army. People can be quite stubborn when they got something worth fighting for.
When Jake is kidnapped and Nick sees the order from Algernon, he gets worried about The Ron. Sure, he wouldn't be too surprised if the guy's a weasel - but if he's not, he might need help. And could that Aiden guy quit the tough guy act, a life's at stake here! True, Nick is old enough to remember the old Gunners and the good captain Algernon, but it's the brute he's more concerned about. He too suggests the player go in peacefully, for Jake's sake and the chance of Algernon being reasonable.
He will check with the player after Paul is killed, see if they're okay and give them some comforting words, before suggesting they get to work and get that bastard Berman. And even if the player doesn't side with Algernon, he'd pick Jake's plan. No reason to kill people just for having a tattoo on their forehead. And when it's time to set up the new HQ, he's quite excited and checks with Jake, happy to hear he's more hopeful now. Keep that up, friend. Laura will get to hear one hell of a story and be so proud of her dad.
Piper: the excited lore hunter
She always wanted people to have freedom and the chance to make their lives better. While she might have her doubts at first, the player's and Jake's dedication to the project has her hopeful. She can already tell it'll be an epic tale to share with her readers, so she makes sure to write down the key moments and interview some interesting characters.
When investigating the Vault-Tec HQ, she keeps an eye out for terminals and, when the player is about to leave, she asks if she can go through all the terminals to see if she can find anything useful. She wants to know everything she can about that Magnusson guy, what the whole deal was with the Comm Hub and all that. Who knows, it might be useful in the future.
I think... she'd probably like Jake. Like, have a little crush on him. So she's ready to comfort him after the Gunner incident and when he shares his story, happy to learn he really is a good man. And when he gets kidnapped, she'd be more difficult to convince to stay behind. She doesn't like Aiden and doesn't want to be left out. I bet she'd be stubborn enough to convince him.
And like most others, she - especially if she gets to join the infiltration of the vault - likes having Algernon as an ally after hearing him out. While she doesn't like Gunners one bit, she had heard stories about the old Gunners and was willing to keep an open mind. And, of course, she'll vote on Jake's plan. Not just to play favorites, but the fact that there might be people like Lupe in there! And, well... it's worth the risk.
With HQ up and running, she feels like it's time to sit down and get some articles out. She's gathered enough for a whole book, and knows someone in one of the settlements that can make that book. If the player has dealt with the Institute, she feels a great sense of relief, seeing the Commonwealth recover. If not, at least it's one hell of a boost to morale.
Preston: he didn't expect that
He figured life would remain the same. He hoped the player could restore the Minutemen and do what he believed could be done to help the common folk. But he never dreamed they'd actually rebuild the Commonwealth and make life so much easier! Even if the player never gets the Minutemen back on their feet, he's happy to serve in one of the settlements. (of course, in order to get him as a companion, you'll have to get the Minutemen somewhat back on their feet)
He believes in the cause and feels more certain that the Minutemen will be back and better than ever thanks to the project. When the player eventually get access to Communications, it could even delay his request to retake the Castle, since they could now keep contact via standard radio.
As for the adventure, it's quite inspiring. So when the Gunners got wind of the project, he's more than ready to fight - to avenge Quincy and its people. He recognizes Aiden, but doesn't pry. He can respect his reasons to avoid the recognition. And he's more likely to side with Aiden, since he's unaware of Algernon's intentions. He trusts the player but won't be very happy about having a Gunner ally, until he meets Lupe. (I know what he says about Jake's plan in the battle, but I'm sure even he can't deny the sad truth of there possibly being people like Lupe still in the Plaza). But Berman is dead, okay? He won't go against the player's decision but he'll hate to see him go free.
There's no reason for the player to have neglected the Minutemen up to this point (even if they did, it would be quite disheartening to Preston, and he'd likely leave the so called "general"). So after the battle and hearing Jake's plan to make the Plaza their HQ, he's quite excited, imagining the bright future. And if they haven't already, he looks forward to hopefully take back Quincy as soon as possible, while the Gunners are weakened.
Overall, he probably couldn't have asked for a better outcome and a better general. Let the Gunner army come. It may be a challenge, but he believes the Minutemen and the Commonwealth are on the right path and will be strong enough to stand their ground. For the Commonwealth!
Strong: parked outside
He doesn't understand what's going on and he doesn't want to. Just don't talk for too long or he'll find something better to do than sit outside and wait. The only thing that interests him is when you explore new places and fight something. Don't expect him to leave much targets for you, though.
Jake seems weak, but ASAM blinkies make good huts. Maybe worth time after all. And this New Bugle building, Strong write papers, people like to read. ...Strong don't know what's so funny but... maybe write more papers. (Assign him to a "New Bugle" industry plot and he'll write articles)
Yeah, this guy is rather simple. He doesn't have many cents to give, he's a simple man... er, mutant. Give him something to fight, and he'll be happy. He's usually not impressed by settlements but even he can admit the buildings are good and the big gun plot was worth the hours of boredom.
X6-88: The Institute is still better, change my mind
You would think he'd maybe get a little faith in the surface-dwellers once you get some settlements up and running. Maybe when you defeat the Gunners and set up your own HQ. But no, he still thinks more about how much better the Institute would use the sensors. But maybe, just maybe, if you've taken over the Institute and earned his respect, he'll admit this might work.
Other than that, he mostly keeps his commentary to himself, only giving strategy suggestions and such. E.g. he'd suggest a direct assault on the Plaza early on, knowing that's where the leader is and probably the info they need to find the hub. He's more of a "let's get this over with" kind of guy, since he doesn't want to spend too much time with humans that are doomed to die out either way. On that note, he'll prefer Aiden's plan, but will follow the player's command without question.
DLC companions:
Ada: likes the odds
Short one. She mostly keeps her commentary to herself. Always ready to be of service, e.g. help Jake transport the Comm Hub from Olivia, and the stuff from the Vault-Tec HQ. I mean, unless the player needs her, why waste time? She likes helping settlers make their homes better and the tech is fascinating. With this development, she's certain the Commonwealth will be much safer within just a few years.
Old Longfellow: ...can he get one?
Of all the strange devices he's seen, the ASAMs ought to be one of the strangest. But hey, let him try one out and he just might like to try building a new outhouse with it or something. He has some loyalty to the classic techniques, but he can admit these devices help an old man like him make something proper even when... a little drunk, heh.
As for the story, he's not very familiar with the Gunners but he knows when to stand his ground and fight. These hooligans better get ready to try running with a barbed harpoon up their asses! And hearing Jake's story, well, it hits his soft spot and he tries cheering him up afterwards. That Algernon fella seems alright, but the choice is yours, captain. And tell that one-eyed redhead to tone down with the murder and show some respect to the little miss Lupe, or he'll join them decoys out in the minefield!
Damn, to think about Old Longfellow, I start to miss him. I think he'd find several moments to be sarcastic and such, be that fun old grandpa guy that we love. But in the end, I think he'd get a little homesick. It's a fine place you got with the HQ, but put him on the next boat to Far Harbor and he'd love to hear your stories next time you visit. Oh, and... could he get one of them sensors? In case some beast took down his ol' shack while he was gone.
Porter Gage: Jackpot!
You kidding, boss? Keep this up, give them some time to build up and all those settlements will be gold mines! He'll go along with whatever you're doing, you're the boss, but you better not forget your gangs are hungry for action. He doesn't like Jake and likes it when the player chooses the quick/rude options, like skipping Jake's demonstration of the new plot types, tell him to deal with the Gunners himself, get the short version of his story, etc.
He also likes either fighting or convincing Stodge to leave. That guy would've caused trouble down the line, better make one of the weaker ones the leader. Then again, there's certainly a thrill to the idea of the place being better fortified, only to be betrayed.
With the Gunners, he doesn't like allying with Algernon. True, the guy would be a powerful ally, but a pain in the butt later on. It's your call, boss, take him down while you can or let him become a future pest to deal with. Either way, he'll suggest good points where they can at least invite some pals from the gangs, but he can't deny Jake's usefulness. Let the nerd tinker a bit longer, wait until the HQ doesn't need him anymore... then, Raider Paradise.

Hello!!! How are you feeling? I just wanted to check in. It sounds like you’re kinda stressed out and I just wanted to remind you to take it easy and rest. Cause you know. You’re sick? *gently bonks head* Always remember to take care of yourself before anyone else. And that it’s your writing. You set the pace. You write for whatever reason you want to and no one can say otherwise. Also remember that it’s okay to set boundaries, those are important too. Just in general take care of yourself is what I’m trying to get at here. I hope you feel better soon. ALSO ALSO some of my favorite comfort shows I recommend are Haikyuu, Tokyo Revengers, and One Piece. Those are totally not my tops 3 favorite anime/manga of all time pshhhh I have no idea what you’re talking about *whistles*. But seriously though those shows are amazing I was just rewatching Tokyo Revengers the other day. I cant get enough. Anyways. I hope you are blessed with cool pillows, heated blankets, and clear sinuses!!! *sends many virtual hugs, the kind that go squish and are all enveloping and warm*

✨ anon !! Hi (๑•͈ᴗ•͈)
I'm doing alright; roomie dropped some chocolates as an apology for getting me sick with their germs
Thank you for your kind and encouraging words *pats head* you're such a sweetheart ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა~ ♡
but yeah I did set boundaries; i'm glad to know that you guys like reading my works and i appreciate the interaction, but i don't wanna answer questions that i've already answered before; besides I know no one likes a good cliifhanger because believe me I KNOW the anxiety and suspense that you're all in and good things will come. Just let me do my magic and go with the flow of it yk?
Spoliers + rant
under the cut cause I cannot contain my love for characters
HAIKYUU!! yeah i love that anime (bokuto was one of my first anime crushes) and those episodes are so nostalgic to me ૮꒰˶ᵕ ༝ᵕ˶꒱ა (i'm actually remembering that scene where the principal's wig flew off and istg i laughed so hard. people were staring at me but idc)
I was in the middle of watching season 4 and I never got to finish it (i was actually looking forward to the miya twins) but yeah hq boys are so precious ଘ꒰੭˶• ༝ •˶꒱੭
TOKYO REVENGERS!! I liked the anime; since the eps are still in the making, I decided to read the manga and the last thing I remember is the fight between Terano south and Brahman? (if that's the name of the gang) i actually wrote for sanzu and hanma (hanma was probably the most likes i've gotten in the entirety of writing but eh whatevs) as well as the tokrev boys hcs. My fav character has to be Shiba Hakkai (he's baby and sweet. pun intended if you know the manga), Mitsuya (that man is a blessing. srsly.) and i really like the bonten symbols there have been days where i wanna get that tattooed but nvm. Lowkey though I am impressed with Kisaki Tetta. Like that man is so smart. *speechless*
One piece!! Zoro tho. Man ate and left no crumbs. I was actually thinking abt starting it this week (istg i always get interrupted when I'm watching anime)
*sending back bear hugs with a squeeze*

More Silly Facts:
☆ Blaster would be absolutely awful with children. Of any age. He doesn’t pay attention to anything that doesn’t concern him. All that matters is the kid "doesn't touch anything that could give you rabies" and "don't start digging around like a nosy little rat."
☆ Unknwn is probably the gangliest motherfucker in the agency. He is not physically strong, even though he likes to pretend he is. He’s got book smarts and is a super good hacker, but he would get IMMEDIATELY cooked in a fight. But please let him believe he’s the best, most talented and strongest guy ever. His ego is frail.
☆ I don’t think he ever takes off his coat. He sleeps, works, travels, and eats in that coat. As a matter of fact, it’s barely ever been washed. Unless he spills something on the majority of it or it gets really dirty, he will always keep it on. Being away from it causes him great anxiety.
☆ Briar used to play "the can game" with his siblings. Basically, they would throw cans at the next door neighbors’ kids and if they hit their face, head, or neck, they would win. This was not very popular with any of their neighbors. Bellatrix usually always won, with Blythe being a close second.
☆ Dreadelle claims to see the dead! How crazy is that? Being a half alive doll corpse really suspends disbelief, though. Everyone just believes her when she tells them about an encounter she had with Straws or Rabecca, or whatever other ghost she’s seen.
☆ Zinc is a perfectly normal human man. There is truly nothing special about him. Of course, he still gets asked questions like, "Why do your joints creak when you move?" and "why does your voice sound so weird?" But you can rest assured that it is none of your goddamn business. He is just living his life as normally as he can, so please hold your questions and keep a safe distance.
☆ d011in7 does not sleep. He experiences something he calls "radio death," where he temporarily turns off technology within a reasonable radius and shuts down. The internet is inaccessible when this happens, and nothing will turn on. He claims it’s an "uncontrollable problem," but he’ll do it when he’s angry, irritated, lonely, or feeling ignored.
☆ You will notice & is always absent from the agency and from agency meetings. This is because she doesn’t care about any of them. Nonetheless, she still gets paid regularly. No one knows what she looks like or what her job is, aside from Silver and Unknwn.
☆ d011in7, The Prototype! The Original! Do not tell him his systems have been copied across millions of servers and used for other applications that are identical to him. Radio death might occur for good.
☆ Briar was very small and scraggly as a kid, being the shortest out of all his family members and classmates until about 7th grade. Then he hit 8th grade and he got fucked up. He came back over the summer and he was deadass 6’0’’ and he thought he was hot shit.
☆ DLL is constantly being fucked with by Unknwn. "Do u wanna have a hacking comp? :)" no he does fucking not. He wants to be left alone.
☆ Speaking of, DLL has hidden cameras around the agency. No one (other than d011in7) has found them yet, but he insists it’s not for any malicious purposes. He’s just watching. For spies. Like you do.
☆ Bonnibelle, the only mechanic before ▇▇▇▇ shows up, is constantly stealing shit from HQ. She steals from the higher ups, their funky mechanisms, their enhancements, their cogs and their wiring— everything. She claims she’s going to make a powerful super weapon for only the agency to use, without the control "of the big bosses in charge up there." The way she has described said weapon is… sinister.
☆ Cadmium does some funny little cannibalism sometimes. He’s just hungry. Lately he has been trying to curb these urges by biting down on metal with his sharp ass teeth, and fortunately it has worked for the time being. He stays in the attic above the agency, but who knows what he’s doing in there. It smells like copper up there.
☆ Mister G.L. is the local nurse and he is 100% always whacked out on sleeping pills. He has built up so much resistance to the sleep-inducing chemicals that all they do is keep him awake. Which is great! Because the agency medical office is constantly flooded with injured patients, and he could never leave someone hurt. Some say he has a "savior complex," but that is just complete and total nonsense! Him? A savior? Never! Just a brilliant, guiding light for those who need him!
