the bags you’d been carrying all day made your forearms sore.

it was almost as if everything you touched, lightly complimented, or simply looked at for a second too long ended up at the front counter. no matter how much you insisted you’d pay, claimed you didn’t need it, how much he’d be wasting his money on that silly little knick knack, friend’s card was inserted into the reader to shut you up.

he sure spoils you, no doubt. you couldn’t be any more thankful.

“cmon friend, lay down” you say, flipping over to face him.

friend smiles at your messy hair and droopy eyes, hearts lightly forming around his head. “whatever you say.”

almost immediately, you feel your boyfriends arms slither around your waist, pressing your head even closer to his chest. he hums, finally reconnected with you.

now that you think about it, he’d been attached to you all day. you’ve caught on to his stunts, he reveals his possessiveness most in public spaces. though, you can’t say you hated it.

he takes in your scent, sniffing at your hair. his lips are placed atop your forehead, giving you a quick kiss. “you smell soo good.” he speaks, scooting his head back a bit.

your eyes are closed, but you can certainly feel his gaze scanning your features. you almost looked asleep, if it weren’t for the subtlest grin on your face.

friend hums as he nuzzles his face in the crook of your neck. “i love you so much, sweetheart.. so so much.”

you smile even wider, “i love you.”

a wholesome moment, so wholesome you felt as though you could cry. that was until his knee slides in between your thighs.

he was just getting comfortable! you thought, attempting to convince yourself his movement didn’t make you feel something. only moments later, his hips buck forward into yours, only making his thigh grind even harder against your crotch.

squirming a bit, hands are met at your waist, holding you steady.
