Thinking more obikin thoughts,,,,
(I should make this a series at this point aknsksns)
Anyway in a fix it universe where padme and Anakin are just besties, and Obi-Wan promised Anakin that after the war they could do whatever they want (comic compliant that's right),,, we arrive to completely-oblivious-of-his-feelings!Anakin & trying-to-woo-your-former-padawan!Obiwan combo 👀
Obi-Wan trying to give Anakin presents and bring him out on dates all over the galaxy, keeping his arm always around Anakin's waist and being affectionate,,,, all of this and Anakin, while drinking it up like a sponge, just doesn't get it. He thinks Obi-Wan is being affectionate because the war is over and after their last almost-death situation the council just doesn't care to reprimand about their obvious attachment anymore.
All of this is resolved, impossibly, by anonymous fanmail. The Jedi (even if they survived in this scenario) took a mighty blow on their public imagine with all the subtle propaganda Palpatine sprouted about them so they are trying to reply to the galaxy concerns and misconceptions about them. All jedi who are knights and masters are eligible for this fan mail stunt and the more famous they are the more of it they get.
Anakin gets a lot of fanmail where they gush about his and Obi-Wan romantic relationship and while at the start he's totally dumbfounded about it, the more they cite things he and Obi-Wan have been doing in these last few months (and years, let's be honest) the more he being (unknowingly) in a relationship with Obi-Wan makes sense. He gets his freak out with padme (who thought they were just being discreet and smacks some good sense into Anakin) and so for the next outing Obi-Wan organises for them, Anakin tries to up the game to see how Obi-Wan responds,,,, and Obi-Wan is Enthusiastic™ about it (poor man was going mad thinking he was doing something Wrong and now all of a sudden Anakin begins to initiate,, some more encouraging touches so he's Ecstatic).
Just think: them going on romantic dates for months, but with no kisses, Obi-Wan staying patient because he knows Anakin has never done this before but getting progressively more depressed thinking he may have interpreted this wrong, and then out of the blue Anakin kisses him after their date. Obi-Wan mind is blown. Man is going to worship is boy now that he has the all clear lmao
(even funnier is thinking about Obi-Wan pestering other jedi about it and getting smashed while crying that Anakin maybe changes his mind. Quinlan just drops him into his apartment and vows to never ask about Anakin again while Obi-Wan drinks: it only gets him Obi-Wan dirty old man rants or his infinite sadness rants. No in between).
Even more hilarious is the fanmail being explicit at some point (everyone says to Anakin that he must be enjoying Obi-Wan big dick energy so much) and Anakin first thought is be offended that ppl would think of him as the bottom - and then getting turned on by the thought of being fucked into incoherence by Obi-Wan. Classical Anakin behaviour Mr."I want to be in control" and then having a meltdown the second he gets the supposed control he wanted. Poor boy just needs to be fucked pliant and he'll be good.
Anyway, that's it. My 1 am obikin thoughts strike again.

With the Percy Jackson series coming out right now have you ever thought about a Percy Jackson obikin au?
so it’s been soooo long since I’ve read the books and I really haven’t kept up with the show (though everyone has told me it’s very very good!! and it’s on my to-watch list!)
but with my little memory of the series, I’m thinking of an au where anakin is the son of hades (non negotiable) and obi-wan is the son of ___ (I’m torn but I’m thinking some very minor god)
and when anakin’s like 9, he’s at the age where he for real needs to get to camp because monsters are popping up everywhere and obi-wan’s just some 25 yo bystander dude that takes him in and tries to get this kid to safety — he himself has never been to camp and doesn’t know anything about the Greek gods, but he can see the monsters coming after this little boy so if he says he has to get to Long Island then sure, obi-wan will get him there
When they do finally arrive after many harrowing adventures and close calls, anakin absolutely throws a tantrum (featuring skeletons rising from the underworld) when the camp director tells obi-wan he really should go, thank you for delivering the chosen one safely etc etc because obi-wan’s godly parent is a minor god and he’s basically not that powerful of a demigod anyway and minor godly children don’t really have a place at camp. and obi-wans pretty ok with that cause this isn’t his life anyway
but anakin loves him and anakin wants him around and anakin will hide in obi-wan’s car and steal away from camp to stay with him if he does leave because he’s anakin’s now they’ve trauma bonded on their way across country 😡
so obi-wan gets to stay at camp in the big house and as the years pass he actually becomes assistant camp director and gets more and more authority because even though he doesn’t have a big 12 godly parent or whatever, he’s just so damn likable.
19 year old anakin has known this forever he’s thought obiwan was great for more than half his life at this point. The only thing that would make him better is if he gave in to anakins advances and let him kiss him a little.
meanwhile obiwan is comfortable in this world after a decade being in it and comfortable with the rules and with himself but there’s absolutely no way he’s going to incite the wrath of fucking hades himself by giving into the urge to bang his 19 year old kid, who obi-wan has cared for and known since he was a CHILD.
no thank you. He’s seen the destruction of anakin’s tantrums and he’s pretty sure that rage is hereditary

Hi! I’ve read lots of CodyWan, and nothing is hitting anymore. I like very specific things, and I’ve read all the popular fics, but if you could recommend me stuff with this criteria loosely…
IMPORTANT
-With or without smut
-over 30k words,
-complete fics preferred, but if it is ongoing it has to have been updated less than 3 months ago.
MAIN POINTS:
-forbidden romance, like Cody and Obi-Wan have to sneak around to stop people from knowing
-must have happy ending. Doesn’t need to be a complete fix it but I just want them to end up happy
LESS IMPORTANT BUT I STILL LOVE:
-Sith Obi-Wan. Enemies to lovers never fails.
-Cody doesn’t have rapid aging, or it’s mentioned that it stops eventually or the chip fixes it.
-good brother relationship between the vode, especially between Cody and Rex
-clones speaking mando’a!
DO NOT INCLUDE:
-major character death
-too much angst
-any 212th/obiwan, cloneship, or poly ships including Obi-Wan or Cody. Just the two of them.
I know this is quite specific but I need a fic rec that I haven’t read before, and CodyWan was the ship that brought me to AO3! If you can’t find anything that’s okay but if you have any good recommendations, please tell me!
Hmm… Honestly, I can see why it’s hard to find fics that fit these criteria.
My first thought was The 212th Medic Skull Has Had Enough series by ihathbenobiwankebobied (@ihathbenobiwankenobied). It’s a collection of shorter fics, but overall more than 50k words long and there’s lots of sneaking around (and whump but they’re pretty fluffy at the same time! It's not too angsty in my opinion and the secret relationship aspect makes it kinda fun).
Regarding the Sith!Obi-Wan fics, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Name of the Game by esama (@esamastation) and I got my head checked by frostbitebakery (@frostbitebakery), both of them are amazing, but you might’ve read them already.
Since you said you’ve read a lot of fics, I checked ao3 for works I have not read yet, but you might be interested in them:
Peace in the Realm by Rosawyn: looks like a really intriguing medieval AU, completed, 85k, rated M, Cody and Obi-Wan are in a secret relationship
No End in Sight by TreeOfTime: rated T and up, completed, 31k, Sith!Obi-Wan, and seems promising in terms of sneakiness, since Cody’s Qui-Gon’s commander and Obi-Wan fights on the side of the Seppies.
The Good Sith series by sonnyrain: It’s long and ongoing, but it was recently updated (and 8 works are already completed) It’s a time travel fix-it, and as far as I can tell, Cody and Obi-Wan are forbidden from loving each other at first and will only get together later on.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just come home
---
Pairing: Obiwan x fem reader
Content: You missed him and therefore want to surprise him with a dinner date at home.
Warnings: none
Haven't been inspired to write anything for a while and this was the first idea that came to me haha so excuse it if it's cliched. This is just a read for a little comfort 😄
---
It had been a long day. Work seemed to be never ending and you were sure your manager was going to ask you to stay back for a few more hours when the tide changed and you were allowed to get back home earlier than what you had thought. So instead of going back to your place you dropped by your boyfriend's place.
He had given you an extra key for occasions you wanted to drop by and stay, if you wished. With the swing of the door his familiar scent greeted you. Everything was well kept and tidy which was just like him, his neatly trimmed beard, combed back hair and pressed shirts. You made yourself at home, work had kept you both away for a while and trying to go out on dates only felt exhausting. It was when an idea struck you. You could order in pizza and surprise him before he came back and so you started on this plan for a spontaneous date night.
The shower felt good and his clothes felt even better as you changed into them. Lounging on the sofa having collected the delivered pizza, you felt your phone ring in your pocket. It was him.
"Just got off work.", he sighed.
"Is there anyway you could transport yourself to my living room so that I can have dinner with you?", his voice was tired but it held the soft sound of joy as he put away his bag as you heard the click of the seatbelt.
"You would have to just come home and find out.", you smiled and heard his pause.
"Home?", he asked before turning on the car's engine.
A second passed as he figured out what you meant and his tone perked up.
"I'll be home before you know it.", he chuckled softly.
"Drive safe.", you bid him farewell.
The wait for him to get here was agonizing only then you had realized how much you had missed him as well. And all this only brought you back to the offer he had extended to you, if you wished to take it. To stay with him, if you chose to. Now that you were here, it did in fact feel better, maybe it was time to take the next step.
You heard the sound of the key unlocking the door when an absent minded smile spread on your face. It wasn't noisy or animated, he walked in, put away his bag and the moment he spotted you, he wrapped you in a hug. And there is was, that comfort of familiarity, his amber cologne and linen shirt, the expanse of his back wide enough for you to trace your hands down his spine when he sunk into your hold with a sigh of content.
You stayed there, in this moment, this was what you both needed.
"I've missed you so much.", he said finally as you stroked the ends of his hair at the base of his neck.
"I have too.", you kissed him on the cheek.
"Now get changed before the pizza turns cold.", you patted his arm, to which his eyes widened.
"Ah the woman of my dreams.", he took you in his arms to spin you about, eliciting a laugh deep within your chest.
"I won't be long.", he placed you down placing a kiss on your forehead.
Dinner was beyond satisfactory. Pizza truly was soul food as you both stretched out over the expanded sofa set as you caught up on a television series. The lights were warm and the atmosphere was cozy, as you laid your head of his chest while his hand trailed up and down the skin of your arm as though he was lost in thought.
The episode came to an end and he sighed. "Time to go to bed.", he said.
But before he could move away, you caught the edge of his shirt. "Kenobi, stay.", you whispered putting on a tantrum and he stilled.
He didn't object, instead he only complied as he pulled you closer. His soft back tshirt a contrast to his golden hair which was now free from the holds of his gel.
"I have been thinking.", you started to which he hummed in response.
"About taking you up on your offer.", you said looking up at him. To which his eyes found yours.
"If it hasn't expired that is.", you furrowed your brows in worry to which he only smiled.
"More of us, on the couch with pizza and TV shows?", he asked turning his expression as though he was contemplating it in a comical sense to which you nodded your head in an animated manner to match his enthusiasm.
"I've only got one spare key and I've given it to you. So the offer never expires.", he chuckled as he kissed your cheek softly and given the day you had, it felt easier melting into his touch. All things seem to fade away here, in his arms

Chapter One
The Queen's Departure
[ Phantom Menace timeline - 32 BBY ]
Tumblr media
As I sit upon my throne, surrounded by my loyal handmaidens, advisors, and diplomats, I cannot shake the knot of anxiety that tightens in my stomach. This royal starship, with its sleek design and polished surfaces, is a world away from the familiar comforts of my home planet. Today marks the first time I have ventured beyond its protective borders, and the weight of responsibility hangs heavy upon my shoulders.
I watch as my attendants move about the chamber, their voices blending into a murmur of discussion. They speak of alliances and negotiations, of the challenges that await us on Coruscant. But beneath their confident words, I sense the same apprehension that tugs at my own heart.
I eye each person in turn, searching for reassurance in their faces. My handmaidens, with their gentle smiles and steady hands, offer silent encouragement. My advisors, with furrowed brows and whispered conversations, strive to impart their wisdom upon me. And my diplomats, with their polished manners and carefully chosen words, seek to navigate the treacherous waters of intergalactic politics. I steadied my gaze, meeting the eyes of my advisors, and diplomats in turn. Their expressions ranged from hopeful to cautious, mirroring my own uncertainty as they looked away from me.
But despite their efforts, I cannot shake the feeling of unease that grips me. Leaving my home planet feels like stepping into the unknown, like casting adrift upon a vast and unfathomable sea. Will Coruscant heed our plea for aid? Will they recognize the struggle of my people, struggling beneath the weight of poverty and oppression?
Only time will tell.As the murmurs continue to swirl around me, I take a deep breath, trying to steady the tremor in my voice. The eyes of my entourage turn towards me, and I feel the weight of their expectations pressing down upon me like a heavy cloak.
"Esteemed advisors and trusted diplomats," I begin, my voice carrying more authority than I feel within. "Our journey to Coruscant is not just a diplomatic mission; it is a plea for the survival of our people. The Senate must hear our case, and we must convince them to lend us their aid."
A hushed silence settles in the chamber as all eyes remain fixed on me. I turn my gaze to my advisors, their faces etched with the gravity of the situation. Seeking wisdom, I meet the eyes of my most trusted counselor, Lord Arion, whose lined face betrays the weight of his years of service.
"What would be our plan to sway the Senate in our favor?" I inquired, my words tinged with both urgency and apprehension.
Lord Arion steps forward, his voice measured and calm. "Your Highness, we must present our case with conviction and clarity. The Senate values evidence and reason. We must compile a thorough detailing of the hardships faced by our people, the struggles we endure daily, and the urgent need for assistance. Facts and figures will be our allies in this situation."
His words offer a semblance of reassurance, but the tension in the room remains heavy. I turn to my chief diplomat, Lady Seraphina, who approaches with a calm demeanor that belies the storm of emotions within me.
"Your Majesty," Lady Seraphina begins, "we must also forge alliances with influential senators who can champion our cause. Personal connections often wield more influence than mere words. We must navigate the delicate dance of politics, appealing to their sense of empathy and self-interest."
Nodding in understandment, I contemplate the path that lies ahead. The enormity of the task before us presses down, and my heart races with the weight of responsibility. As Lady Seraphina finishes speaking, I can't help but feel a surge of doubt coursing through me. "But how can we ensure that the Senate will even acknowledge the existence of our planet?" I ask, my voice betraying the uncertainty that gnaws at my core. "And do you believe they will dismiss us simply because of my age?"
Lord Arion offers a sympathetic smile before responding. "Your Majesty, we will use every available channel to make our case known. We will petition senators, lobby influential figures, and utilize the resources at our disposal to ensure that our message reaches the ears of those who hold power. As for your age, while some may underestimate you, we will prove that your wisdom and determination far outweighs any doubts they may have."
His words offer a glimmer of hope, but the shadow of uncertainty still looms large. I let my hands fall into my lap, fingers tracing the intricate patterns of the silk material of my dress as I fidget with nervous energy. The weight of responsibility feels heavier than ever, and the doubts that plague my mind threaten to overwhelm me.
But I cannot afford to falter now. My people are counting on me, and I will not let them down. With a deep breath, I straighten my spine and steel myself for the challenges that lie ahead.
"Very well," I say, my voice steady despite the tumult of emotions within. "We will proceed with our plan and do everything in our power to secure aid for our people. Together, we will face whatever obstacles may come our way, and we will emerge victoriously."
I rise from my throne, the weight of my crown a reminder of the burden I bear. But as I look around at the faces of my loyal companions, I know that I am not alone. Together, we will navigate the treacherous waters of intergalactic politics, and we will ensure that the voice of our planet is heard.
As I take a step forward, my eyes meet those of Lady Elara, another trusted advisor who has been silent thus far which usually meant that she was trying to choose her words carefully. She clears her throat before addressing the concerns lingering in the air. "Your Highness, if I may interject, the Queen of Naboo herself, Queen Amidala, is currently only 14 years old. Yet, she is navigating the intricate web of the Senate with remarkable skill and resilience. Age should not be a deterrent; instead, it can be a symbol of strength, showcasing the determination of a young monarch fighting for her people."
Her words bring a spark of inspiration, and I find solace in the thought that age may not be an insurmountable obstacle after all then. I nod in gratitude to Lady Elara and make my way off the throne towards a nearby counter, where a protocol droid stands ready with a refreshing drink. The cool liquid soothes my parched throat, but my mind remains ablaze with the challenges ahead.
Before I can voice my thoughts, the chamber's doors hiss open, and Captain Renner strides in with an air of urgency. He exchanges a quick glance with Lady Seraphina, who steps forward to receive his whispered message. My eyes fixate on the unfolding scene, the unease returning in full force.
Lady Seraphina's expression tightens as she listens to the captain's report. The room falls silent, every gaze focused on her as she turns back towards us. "Your Majesty, there is urgent news. The hyperdrive has malfunctioned due to a cause they haven’t traced yet, and we are forced to make an unscheduled stop for repairs. This delay will set us back several days."
A collective sigh of frustration ripples through the room. My heart sinks at the thought of our already delicate mission facing further setbacks. The weight of responsibility presses down on me, threatening to crush my resolve.
A heavy silence descends upon the room as I take a few moments to contemplate the unforeseen obstacles that now stand in our path. The hum of the starship's engines seems to resonate with the tumultuous thoughts in my mind. I do not meet the gazes of my advisors; instead, I stare into the depths of the swirling liquid in my cup, seeking clarity.
The weight of responsibility presses down on me, threatening to crush my resolve. However, I cannot afford to let the moment linger for too long. I raise my head, meeting the expectant eyes of my loyal companions, and find my voice.
"We cannot afford to wait several days for repairs," I declare, my words cutting through the tense atmosphere. "The urgency of our mission requires a swifter course of action. We will find an alternative starship and proceed to Coruscant without delay."
A murmur of disagreement rises among my advisors. Lord Arion steps forward, his brow furrowed with concern. "Your Majesty, I understand the urgency, but hastily changing our mode of transport may jeopardize the safety of the journey. We must consider the risks and—"
I cut him off, my voice firm. "The risks of delay far outweigh the uncertainties of an alternative starship. We cannot afford to waste time. Lives depend on our success, and we must act decisively."
Lady Seraphina interjects, "Your Majesty, the diplomatic protocols and security measures for a different vessel will take time to arrange. We must ensure a smooth transition to avoid any complications in our journey."
My gaze meets Lady Elara's, searching for support. She hesitates before speaking, "Your Highness, I share the concerns of my fellow advisors. We must proceed cautiously to safeguard the integrity of our mission."
I take a deep breath, absorbing their reservations. The path ahead is fraught with challenges, and I must weigh the consequences of my decision. However, the urgency of our mission fuels my determination.
"Despite the challenges, we cannot afford to be paralyzed by indecision. We will find a suitable alternative swiftly and ensure the necessary precautions are taken. Lives hang in the balance, and we must not falter in our duty," I assert, my voice unwavering.
The room falls into a contemplative silence as my advisors exchange glances, grappling with the gravity of the situation. The fate of my people rests on this decision, and I am prepared to face whatever consequences may arise from my choice.
The air in the chamber thickens with tension as my advisors exchange wary glances, still unconvinced by my resolve. Lady Seraphina speaks up once more, her tone edged with caution. "Your Majesty, we understand the urgency, but such haste may compromise our safety. The risks of an unfamiliar starship—"
Before she can finish her sentence, Lord Arion adds, "And the diplomatic repercussions of changing our mode of transport mid-journey, Your Highness. We must consider—"
I interrupt them, my voice firm and resolute. "Enough. I appreciate your concerns for all of our safety, but the urgency of our mission demands swift action, you all know this. We cannot afford to wait. Lives depend on our success, and why would you all let fear paralyze us."
As they exchange troubled glances, Lady Elara interjects, "Your Majesty, forgive us for questioning, but it is our duty to ensure your safety and the success of this mission. Perhaps if we consider alternative solutions—"
My patience wanes, and I look to Captain Renner, who stands by the doorway, awaiting further instructions. "Captain, what is the nearest suitable starship we can secure for our journey?"
The Captain hesitates for a moment before responding, "Your Majesty, the nearest available starship is en route to Endor for routine maintenance. It is a reliable vessel, and we can make the necessary arrangements for your departure."
Endor. The name echoes in the chamber, and I see a glimmer of uncertainty in the eyes of my advisors. It is a planet with its own history and alliances, and their reservations become more palpable.
"What is the concern?" I ask, my voice now holding a touch of impatience. "Are you not willing to consider Endor as a temporary solution to our predicament?"
Lady Seraphina hesitates before speaking cautiously, "Your Majesty, Endor is known for its unique political landscape. A sudden arrival without proper diplomatic measures could create complications. We must consider the potential fallout."
I stand firm, my gaze piercing through the room. "I understand the concerns, but time is not on our side. We will proceed to Endor, and we will handle any complications as they arise. Our mission cannot be delayed any further."
Tumblr media
As the ramp of the starship descends with a soft hiss, I step onto the landing pad, my droid and handmaidens trailing behind me. Flanking me are my loyal royal guards, their presence a comforting reminder of the protection surrounding me. The air is crisp with the scent of unfamiliar flora, and the sounds of the forest echo in the distance.
Before I can take in my surroundings, a question lingers on my lips. "Captain, where exactly have we landed?"
The Captain opens his mouth to respond, but before he can utter a word, a sudden commotion interrupts the air. I turn to see my royal guards, blasters drawn, confronting a small figure standing at the edge of the landing pad.
"Stay where you are!" one of the guards commanded sternly, their weapons trained on the diminutive creature.
Confusion grips me as I approach, my eyes widening in astonishment at the sight before me. The figure is no larger than a child, covered in shaggy fur and adorned with primitive garb. It takes a few hesitant steps backward, its large, expressive eyes wide with fear.
"What is the meaning of this?" I demand, my voice tinged with both concern and curiosity.
The Captain steps forward, his expression apologetic. "Your Majesty, it appears we have landed in the territory of the native inhabitants of Endor. This creature is known as an Ewok."
My heart sinks as I realize the gravity of the situation. We have trespassed onto the land of these indigenous beings, and now we must navigate the delicate balance of diplomacy.
"Lower your weapons," I command my guards, their blasters retracting obediently. Turning to the Ewok, I offer a reassuring smile. "We mean you no harm. We come in peace."
The Ewok eyes me warily, its gaze flickering between me and my entourage. Slowly, it takes a cautious step forward, its posture wary but curious.
"We seek only temporary refuge on your planet," I explain gently, hoping to convey our intentions. "We mean no disrespect to your home."
The Ewok studies me for a moment longer before disappearing into the dense foliage of the forest, leaving me to ponder the complexities of our unexpected encounter.
Turning to my protocol droid, CP50, I issue a command, "CP50, act as our translator. We need to establish communication and ensure there are no misunderstandings with the inhabitants of this planet."
The droid acknowledges the order with a nod and a small “Yes, you’re majesty.” As the droid initiates communication protocols, I step off the ramp, my eyes filled with wonder and curiosity at the sights around me. The vibrant colors of the Endorian flora and the unique sounds of the forest create an atmosphere unlike any I have experienced before.
My handmaidens and royal guards follow suit, their expressions a mix of fascination and apprehension. The air is filled with the sweet scent of unfamiliar flowers, and the ambient sounds of the forest lend an ethereal quality to our surroundings.
However, my moment of awe is interrupted by the concerned voices of my advisors. Lord Arion approaches me with a tone of urgency. "Your Majesty, we must remain on the ship. This unexpected detour could pose risks, and we should not stray too far when we don’t even know what is potentially out there."
I turn to face them, a hint of frustration in my voice. "I understand the concerns, but diplomacy begins with understanding. We must establish a rapport with the inhabitants of this planet. CP50 will assist us in navigating any language barriers."
Lady Seraphina adds, "Your Majesty, while diplomacy is crucial, we should proceed with caution. We are still strangers in a foreign land, and unforeseen complications may arise."
I nod in acknowledgment of their concerns but stand firm in my decision. "We will exercise caution, but we cannot afford to ignore the potential allies or obstacles this planet may present. Our mission remains to secure aid for our people, and diplomacy is the key to achieving that goal."
As we venture further into the Endorian landscape, the sounds of the forest growing louder around us, I then look up to see homes…bridges that lead tree to tree.
As I gaze up at the towering trees, marveling at the intricate network of huts and bridges woven among their branches, a sense of awe washes over me. The Ewok village seems to blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of the forest, a testament to the ingenuity and resourcefulness of its inhabitants.
Suddenly, a rustling in the foliage ahead breaks the spell of wonder, and I instinctively tense, my hand drifting towards the hilt of my ceremonial blade. Six Ewoks emerge from the shadows, their wary eyes fixed upon us as they brandish spears with cautious determination.
I exchange a glance with CP50, silently urging the droid to facilitate communication. As the droid begins to translate my words into their native tongue, I step forward, meeting the gaze of the Ewoks with a mixture of respect and reassurance.
"Hello," I say, my voice ringing out with clarity amidst the rustling of leaves. "My name is Queen Korr of Lemono. I come in peace, seeking to establish communication and mutual understanding between our peoples."
The Ewoks regard me with a mixture of curiosity and wariness, their expressions unreadable beneath their furry visages. For a tense moment, silence hangs in the air, broken only by the gentle whisper of the wind through the trees.
Then, one of the Ewoks takes a tentative step forward, its spear lowered ever so slightly. It speaks in a language unfamiliar to my ears, but CP50 swiftly translates its words.
"We welcome you, Queen Korr of Lemono," the Ewok says, its voice tinged with cautious optimism. "But we must ensure the safety of our village. Please, come with us. Our elders will decide your fate."
I nod in understanding, a sense of relief washing over me. This encounter may yet prove to be the first step towards securing the aid my people so desperately need. With a quick stride, I follow the Ewoks into the depths of their forest home, hopeful that diplomacy will prevail in the face of uncertainty.
Led through the intricate treetop pathways, I find myself standing before the Ewok elders, wise and weathered figures adorned in ceremonial garb. Their eyes, ancient and knowing, regard me with a mix of curiosity and caution. As CP50 translates my words, I address the gathering with a respectful bow.
"Esteemed elders of Endor," I begin, my voice carrying the weight of sincerity, "I am Queen Korr of Lemono. I come in peace, seeking your understanding and cooperation. Our ship has encountered technical issues, and we urgently need assistance to reach Coruscant. The fate of my people depends on the aid we seek from the Galactic Senate."
The elders exchange glances, their expressions thoughtful and contemplative. The rustle of leaves and the distant sounds of the forest create a backdrop for the delicate negotiation unfolding among the treetops.
One elder, with a crown of leaves upon its head, steps forward and speaks in a melodic language that resonates with the harmony of the forest. CP50 swiftly translates, "We sense the sincerity in your words, Queen Korr of Lemono. But our trust must be earned. Your people must respect the ways of our land, and you must prove that your intentions are genuine."
I nod, acknowledging their terms. "I understand the importance of earning your trust. We are guests in your home, and we will abide by your customs. All we ask is for the opportunity to repair our ship and continue our journey to Coruscant, where we seek assistance for the hardships faced by my people."
The elder nods in response, and a silent exchange among the Ewoks follows. Finally, a consensus seems to be reached, and the elder addresses me again, "You shall be granted the chance to repair your ship, Queen Korr. But know this: the balance of our world is delicate. Respect it, and you will find allies among the Ewoks of Endor."
Gratitude fills my heart as I express my appreciation to the elders. With the promise of cooperation, I am hopeful that we can mend our starship and resume our journey. The forest canopy above seems to whisper its approval, as if the very trees themselves have granted us a chance to prove our intentions and secure the aid my people so desperately need.
As I bow respectfully to the Ewok elders, a soft murmur emanates from behind me, where my advisors confer in hushed tones. I catch snippets of their conversation, an undercurrent of skepticism threading through their words. Ignoring the whispers, I straighten up and turn to face the elders, determination etched on my face.
"I am grateful for your understanding, esteemed elders," I say, addressing them directly. "In our quest to repair our ship swiftly, I must inquire if there is a spare vessel available that we may borrow temporarily. This would expedite our journey to Coruscant and allow us to return your kindness promptly."
The elder, with a nod of consideration, confers with the others in their melodious language. After a brief exchange, they collectively agree, and the elder responds through CP50's translation.
"We have a transport vessel that you may use for your journey, Queen Korr of Lemono," the elder announces. "It is not as advanced as your starship, but it will serve your purpose. We entrust it to you with the understanding that you will respect the balance of the forest and return it once your mission is complete."
Expressing my sincere gratitude, I assure them of our utmost respect for their customs and pledge to return the vessel as promised. The Ewoks, in turn, guide us to their transport vessel, a modest yet sturdy craft nestled within the treetop village.
As my advisors reluctantly follow, their murmurs continue, but I remain focused on the task at hand. The path to Coruscant is still fraught with challenges, but with the borrowed vessel, we should have a renewed sense of purpose and the means to continue our diplomatic journey through the vast reaches of the galaxy.
As I step aboard the vessel graciously lent to us by the Ewoks, a surge of anxiety courses through me. Despite their hospitality, I can't shake the nagging feeling that we are intruding on their world, disrupting the delicate balance of their lives. The weight of responsibility presses down on me, and I can feel the eyes of my people upon me, their hopes and fears resting squarely on my shoulders.
Glancing back at my advisors and diplomats, I am met with a mixture of reluctance and apprehension. Their whispered conversations and doubtful expressions only serve to fuel my frustration. How dare they question the hospitality of our hosts, especially after the kindness they have shown us?
Suppressing a sigh, I take a moment to compose myself, my hands clenched into fists at my sides. With a firm gaze, I addressed them, my voice tinged with disappointment. "It is imperative that we show respect for the customs and traditions of the Ewoks. They have offered us their aid in our time of need, and we must honor their generosity with our gratitude and cooperation."
My words hang heavy in the air, but the tension among my companions remains palpable. As the borrowed vessel glides through the Endorian sky, I turn to my advisors and diplomats, a question lingering on my lips. "Who among you will volunteer to stay behind and assist the Ewoks? We must ensure our presence here does not disrupt their way of life."
A moment of uncomfortable silence fills the air. I watch the faces of my companions, hoping for a willing volunteer to step forward. However, none of them seem eager to accept the responsibility of remaining on Endor.
Lord Arion, ever the voice of caution, steps forward, "Your Majesty, it may not be wise to leave our diplomatic mission in the hands of those unfamiliar with the complexities of intergalactic politics. Perhaps we should all proceed to Coruscant together and—"
I cut him off with a frustrated tone, "The Ewoks have shown us kindness, and we must reciprocate. We cannot take advantage of their generosity without offering something in return. Who among you will step up for this important task?"
A heavy silence lingers, my advisors and diplomats exchanging uneasy glances. When no one volunteers, a sense of frustration builds within me. These individuals, who are meant to assist and advise me, seem unwilling to embrace the responsibilities that come with diplomacy.
In a decisive moment, I point to one of my diplomats, Lady Isolde, a handmaiden Anne-Jane, and a member of the flight crew, Lieutenant Rylan. "You two will stay behind on Endor. Assist the Ewoks in whatever they require. Ensure that our presence here leaves a positive impact, and when our ship is repaired, join us on Coruscant."
They share an exchange at a glance, acknowledging the responsibility thrust upon them. I watch as they walk off of the ship causing me to finally feel some type of ease. The ship begins to hum underneath my feet. It’s risky to leave my trusted people here, but I couldn’t just leave the Ewoks without nothing. I felt eyes on me. My stomach twisting and turning…I need to believe in myself.

Why Sev didn't die.
Ok folks so I'm kinda new to tumblr and all that and I've been neglecting my original purpose for coming here which was to rant about Republic Commando since I wanna show a friend that memorizing the numbers of about twenty clones actually is useful.
lemme time myself rq for the MCs
Omega:
RC-1309 Niner
RC-1136 Darman
RC-8015 Fi
RC-3222 Atin
Delta:
RC-1138 Boss
RC-1140 Fixer
RC-1207 - Sev
RC-1262 Scorch
Took me approximately 33 seconds to type.
A n y w a y
yes so i was reading a fic on ao3 about an alternate version of post RC Order 66 when obi-wan goes to Mandalore with Luke instead of Tatooine and happens to know kal bc he let Kal let Mereel murder Pong Krell. and that fic became a twenty part series iirc. anyway so the story goes that Sev was captured by Trandoshans (logical, since Trandoshans were working with the seppies on kashyyyk) and brought to Wasskah like Ahsoka (remember, tcw fans?)
couple chapters full of action, they release him into the wild to hunt him down, and he fakes his death and stuff, and then Vau and obiwan go and rescue him.
BUT ANYWAY
it's very logical right? i mean Sev being who he is and all
and the trandos being essentially the same as they were in tcw
it'd make sense right?
and i felt i needed to say this just bc i love delta's introvertedness (but omega are my boys) and i hate leaving Sev behind. DELTA WOULD NOT HAVE LEFT HIM BEHIND. that's the one thing i disagree with karen traviss on (also etain and camas and not showing Levet or the rest of the Nulls with Jaina and not writing another book but whatevs)

For whatever fandom you feel like chatting about:
💖: What is your biggest unpopular opinion about the series?
💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?
💕: What is an unpopular ship that you like?
I choose.... STAR WARS!! Thanks for the ask! 😁
💖 Ohhoh man. My BIGGEST unpopular opinion is that Yoda has Issues. Now I don't think he is evil or anything, but the little troll has some problems I think 😂 He was maybe a good Jedi, but I don't think he needed to be GrandMaster of the Order. Also I think he needed to take that Clone Was season 6 soul searching vacation a liiiiiittle sooner. And then in Empire Strikes Back he was bonkers lol
💚 Gahhhh my favorite character is a hard one because I love so many characters so much. Obi-Wan is probably my fave though, so something everyone gets wrong about him...
This is going into headcanon territory. You have been warned.
The Deception arc of the Clone Wars. A lot of people hate him for the way he handled that, and I agree that he should have handled it better. But I also think he covered for the Jedi Council when he told Anakin that the not telling him thing was his idea. Personal theory.
💕 Unpopular ship! Unpopular ship!
....I dunno if I have one. Oh! Plo Koon and Shaak Ti! They love each other and adopted all the Clones. True story
My other favorite ships are Leia/Han, Obiwan/Satine, Cassian/Jyn, Luke/Mara, Kanan/Hera, Padmé/Anakin and maybe a few others I forgot.

Boba Fett
When looking at fans reactions to the series “The Book of Boba Fett” I was surprised by the number of people who's complaints hinged on the idea that the series is some sort of redemption arc that should take a long time  I will admit, I haven’t got the chance to watch the series yet as I do not have Disney plus and have not found a way to watch it elsewhere,  but I have found in these reviews that people seem to have a very one dimensional view of Boba Fett as a character.
When we first meet Boba Fett he’s a minor antagonist in the original trilogy. Less of a character and more of a plot device. His armour aside,  the most notable things about him is that he’s pragmatic “He’s no good to me dead” and a bit of a ladies man [the scene in Jabba’s palace]. That’s hardly any nuanced characterisation. He “dies” as he lived, an ultimately one note but cool antagonist  that provides some colour between the grey, black and white of the Empire.
We see him next in the prequal trilogy where, despite the relatively small screen time, Daniel Logan is giving it his all. We see him in his father’s apartment on Kamino ,when Obiwan Kenobi goes to investigate the planet and we are introduced to the clones. Young Boba is shown in this first scene to be a smart kid who distrusts the Jedi [or at least strangers]. We see him observing his dad’s interactions with the Jedi, We’re also shown that despite him not having the inhibitor chip, he still listens to his dad with Boba closing the door to hide Jango’s armour. When Obiwan leaves before Jango can order Boba to pack so they can get away Boba’s the one who prompts his dad. This first scene shows him as a kid who  is observant, smart and cares  about his father.
During the confrontation and chase with Obiwan Boba plays a mostly supporting role. He is only seen actively engaging when he scrambles into the ship and fires the guns at Obiwan. He manages to fire impressively well when you conside that he;s can’t even see over the steering wheel. He’s also the one who points out that they’re being tracked. he’s not shown to be especially ruthless except when he laughs at Jango’s “we’ll have a couple of surprises for him” comment. other  than that he mostly spends that scene in the cheap seats. This shows him a proactive and demonstrates that he is still learning from his father, still a far cry from the feared  bounty hunter he’s shown as in the OT.
He’s next shown at the execution of Padme, Obiwan and Anakin, where he cranes his neck to have a look. He doesn’t really say anything during that scene or during the ensuing battle. His only major appearance after is when he holds his father's helmet and rests his forehead to it. during these scene Boba does not play a major role, presumably because George Lucas thought having the heros’ fight a ten year old would be a little too far.
During TCW, Boba is shown in three arcs, playing a relatively minor role in two of them. His first major appearance is when he is trying to kill Mace Windu. Boba executes the plan quietly and efficiently , in a way that minimises damage to the crew. It is not until Mace Windu asks a clone to put something in his room because Anakin needed him that things spiral out of control.
Aurra Sing is the one who orders him to blow up the reactor rod. Boba protests “But the crew, this isn’t about them”. He is still ultimately persuaded to do it. When he’s caught Boba easily slips into the “vulnerable cadet “ role and tricks the trooper into handing over his blaster. While Boba has no problem fighting the trooper when the helmets are on  Boba hesitates when the helmet comes off and he’s faced with his father’s face staring up at him in fear and confusion. It is only with the assertion that he and the clone are “brothers” that Boba is able to follow through with stunning the solider. This sequence of events shows Boba's competence as well as his moral compass, It also serves to demonstrate his complex surrounding the clones.
This moral compass is further challenged when he sabotages the escape pod  and Aurra Sing intercepts them to pick him up. Boba is more than ready to just leave and even suggests to her that they let them go. Aurra Sing is the one who asserts that the have to be jettisoned into the unknown. he only leaves with her  after this threat is applied to him. He walks away telling the cadets that he’s sorry and, as Aurra demands, lets them loose. Through this arc Boba is shown acting with competence but anger, displaying instincts that were likely taught to him by Jango. When speaking to the captive clones Boba removes one of their gags and tells him that this isn’t what he wanted. It is only when the clone reminds him that he is also a clone that Boba hardens up, though not enough to hold back a wince when Aurra slaps the clone and by the time shooting the hostages comes around Boba is not angry enough to go through with the threats. This shows that despite his quest for vengeance he is still an immature and insecure kid in a galaxy where there are thousands of him made everyday. The only thing that makes him different from the other clones is that he ages normally and was chosen by Jango, one thing that is not unique to him and another that says nothing about his accomplishments. He is still far from revenge and from living up to his father’s legacy.
Through the following scenes Boba slowly becomes disillusioned with the quest as he sees Aurra shoot a member of their crew in cold blood and is threatened by her. He still tries to hold onto the moral high ground and insists that “i’m not a murderer, but I want justice ” even when that drive for “justice” has flown way out of his control.  He is eventually left to the mercy of the Republic. Plo Koon  brings Boba to Hondo Onaka to get him to tell them where the remaining hostages are. Boba protests that he has no one so why should he help?,  it is only when Hondo, the only person at this point who has treated Boba’s loss with any respect convinces him that it’s the honourable thing to do and that it’s what his father would have wanted that Boba caves and expresses genuine remorse for his actions. Despite his age and arguable part in the carnage as a whole, Boba is sent to prison.
There is not much to be said for his appearance when Obiwan goes undercover but his actions after getting out of prison, either by release or escape show how he has hardened and stayed the same. He is tasked with bringing a bride to a warlord, for this mission he is teamed up with newcomer to bounty hunting, Ventress. Boba is short and demanding to the Dathomirian, claiming that's she’s a “rookie”. Neither seem to know that the other s  in fact overqualified. It is worth noting however that this same energy is also given to him by Ventress so he is hardly the only one acting like this.  It is also worth noting that Boba is not incapable of taking advice from others. This is seen when he questions the need to subtram travel, when he thinks that just using the ship would be easier. When the reason why is explained to him Boba has no problem with the direction. Boba comes out of prison much harder than he was when he came in, having  no problem with making himself bigger or dishing out violence where he has not changed is seen in his actions later in this event.
When Boba and his crew are attacked the chest they were keeping the bride in comes open Boba’s first instinct is to run to her and assure her that he’ll protect her from the attackers. The dubious honourability of him delivering a slave bride to a warlord aside, it is clear that Boba has internalised Hondo Onaka’s lesson on honour. It is only when he realises that she’s on their attackers side that Boba orders they be tied down so he can get the mission done. Ventress subsequently switches him with the girl and delivers her home.  Boba is not seen after that but it is in this scene that his portrayal as a ruthless bounty hunter makes more sense. even still, during this arc Boba is not seen being especially bloodthirsty. He’s ruthless towards the people who stand in the way of his mission but for innocents, those he cares for or assumes he’s being paid to protect  he’s especially careful.
Boba has no other major appearances in the shows or movies until the Mandalorian. When he saves Fennec Shand he has no connection to her, he is not even aware that she once hunted the closest thing he has to a biological sister in canon.  Despite seeming to have softened Boba prove this not to be the case. He threatens Grogu to get the armour back and fights well against the troopers. he is also the first to suggest that there’s not need to fight and they they put down their weapons. During the fight Boba gets his armour back. Boba honours his deal with Din Djarin and joins in the mission to get Grogu back, one again showing Hondo Onaka’s lesson about honour has made an impression on him even all these years later.
When Bo Katan starts to insult him Boba is not quick to violence. It is only when  Jango Fett is brought into it that Boba brings put the threats. He then fights Bo’s sidekick before she agree’s to help Din Djarin because Grogu’s involved. After the mission he ruthlessly shoots down Bib Fortuna and so begins his hostile takeover of Mis Eisley. Looking at some scenes he seems to be going a good job, having mellowed while retaining his fire and sense of honour.
So, looking at all that together, there is no reason why the arc set out in Book of Boba Fett cannot work. While I’m sure some of the criticism I’ve seen is valid, I do not think the  assertion that Boba Fett  should remain a ruthless killer is one of them, nor do I think that this is part of some moralist agenda to make villains not evil anymore .

Thrawn quotes…(and the fact, when taken out of context, these words need to be utilized by a writer worthy of epic novels, like GGK, or Elizabeth Beare, or Freidman/Cherrah, etc…rather than mid-level military sci-fi like Zahn…)…
”He [the Emperor] commands only the loyalty of my actions, not the loyalty of my heart and mind…”—I guess this is from ‘Thrawn3: Treason’—
—Anyway—garp-I spurn the EU (except for certain particulars), and most of StarWars/Legends too, for the sprawling mass of bloated and inconsistent narrative, and combined with world-building schizophrenia. And lordy, PLEASE CAN the animation series (and BoBF and ObiWan…ugh!!). I know they’re supposed to be directed at kids, but…that’s the problem. The directors/script writers/producers are obviously capable of a series like ‘Andor’ (which, I’d say, rivals the tension of GoT, the scaled depths of Serenity-Firefly, and the plotting of TheExpanse), with layered complexities of moral and ethical challenges amid a framing of popular uprising, ideals and realities of warfare, on a very human(oidy) scale to keep the weave tight, tense, dynamic, and intricate…THAT is the kind of tale a character like Thrawn should be in, which could maybe do the description of ‘Rommel-Napoleon-JuliusCaesar-AlexandertheGreat-and Theoderic the Great (probably add the nonWestern-European folks in there too…) some justice. I’ll be honest, I’m also not a fan of TimothyZahn—his novels are mostly examples of good concepts, serviceably rendered, with lack-luster plotting, and literary blandness. —TBH, while I don’t really see Benedict Cumberbatch as Thrawn, there’s an element of that calculation, and measured logic, refined ruthlessness that came through in how Cumberbatch played Kahn in that revamped StarTrek movie from a few years back. To me, that portrayal was the closest we’ve gotten to the gravitas and genius that Zahn has tried distilling with a character too good for the level of writing. I feel like I’m reading ‘War and Peace’ as nursery rhyme when I try to peruse his books. But the quote above just….*Thrawn feels…*

DUTY & FAMILY (Star Wars History)
I wish we could get some shorts of this part of the story in a cartoon or a mini series because they inform a lot about the characters, Padme with her role as Senator and Anakin with his chosen one role had the idea they needed to do something greater than themselves for the galaxy but at the same time they longed for a family life beyond their roles and duties.
Tumblr media
Anakin´s longed for family life not because he hated the jedi or because he thought Obi-Wan was a bad master but because that was where home was for him and when his Mom was killed, that home was with Padme, that was where his heart was.
Padme and Anakin are usually seen as selfish for deciding to marry despite the roles they had to play but given both of them had their childhoods taken from them, be it for slavery or for their political duties, it´s interesting to see them do something for themselves this time even if they still had to play their roles.
Tumblr media
A lot of fans see Anakin as wanting his cake and eating it too but in reality the only reason why he stayed with the order after the death of his Mom and he broke most of his emotional links to the Jedi except for ObiWan and later Ahsoka, the reason why he decided to stay after the clone wars started, was because Padme convinced him his help was neccesary for the Jedi to win the war and they could be together once the war was done.
So bassically Anakin stayed with the Jedi during the clone wars out of a sense of loyalty and a wish to help them in something no one really knew how to handle, it´s this same feeling of loyalty the thing that convinced him to protect Jabba´s kid even if he knew with certainty he would only grow up to lord over Tatooine slaves, just like he and his childhood friends were once upon a time but he still did it out of loyalty to the temple, to the Jedi and to the galaxy and later to Ahsoka, he could not leave while she was still his padawan and I think this was pretty much the opposite of selfish on his part(at least during this era) even if he said a few sarcastic remarks while he was doing his duty.
Tumblr media
The problem is that I think those feelings of sadness over not being taken seriously while his mother was dying, of anger over helping the Hutt while his mother was left to slavery because the Hutt were politically important while his mother wasn´t, his shame over losing his senses and killing the tusken raiders, his isolation from the other Jedi, all those feelings simmered inside his mind and little by little beat his mental stability leading to the birth of Vader, of course with Palpatine´s help, because he discovered once Anakin told him what he did on Tatooine, that the way to turn to the darkside a principled person like Anakin, was to bring forth his rage and his fear of losing his loved ones.

My unpopular HP opinions are
I don't like Fred or George and thought they were generally more mean than funny
Ginny Weasley is a better written female character than Luna or Hermione
Ron isn't a monster or this huge asshole fandom makes him out to be
My unpopular SW opinions
PT/ Clone Wars Era is far more interesting and better conflict than OT
Clone Wars show didn't "save Anakin". They just turned him into Han Solo 2.0. I don't even really like Padme in that show either.
I don't find Obiwan attractive
Padme outfits in episode 1 were ugly. Episode 2 is top tier for her outfits
Thank you for the ask.
I have to disagree with the Fred and George part. I'm a bit of a prankster myself. And I do find their mischief quite entertaining. However, there were definitely times were they took it too far. The most obvious example being when they transformed Ron's Teddy into a spider, or when they made him take an unbreakable vow.
Ginny certainly had the potential to be a better written character than Hermione and Luna. However, she didn't get enough time to shine, so I wouldn't give her that title.
Ron is not an asshole at all. I think he is a quite realistic and great character. Him leaving Harry and Hermione in DH and him being upset with Harry in GoF was probably the two only major negative things that he did. In a series of seven books, that is not a lot. Yes, the impact of it was quite extreme, since he was Harry's best friend. And the narrator is from Harry's POV. But he was shown to have a degree of realism that many of the other characters lacked. Ron had some severe flaws, and he made mistakes. Hermione didn't really do that to the same extent, which is probably why many feel like Ron doesn't deserve her. But people seem to forget that he tried sacrificing himself for Harry twice. One within a year of knowing him at the age of eleven. And that is just one of the many examples as to why Ron was a great friend.
TL;DR - He has flaws, but was ultiamtely a great friend and a realistic character.
As movies, OT was better. But the storyline in the Prequels are second to none. In my very biased opinion, I can't remember a trilogy in cinematic history with as great of a storyline as the PT. The worldbuilding was incredible. I know LOTR is a big contender for that title, and rightfully so, but I'm going to give the edge to PT. There are so many side-stories in the PT era, so many interesting characters. And the political game is just (chef kiss sound).
Anakin's character didn't need saving. He just needed to be shown at a time that literally wasn't in the running for the worst time in his life prior to his fall. In AOTC he is an emotional mess due to his nightmares of his mother. In ROTS he is an emotional mess due to his nightmares of his wife. In TCW he still grieved for Shmi, but the majority of the show showed him being happy, or as happy as someone could be under those circumstances. Padmé was the major factor for that. Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Rex contributed to that as well. So, I wouldn't say it was a different character, like many says, I would simply call it a different time in his life.
As a 100% straight man, I have only one thing to say about Obi-Wan Kenobi: SMASH.
I'm not an expert on dresses or female fashion sense. But I do prefer her outfits in AOTC to TPM. But like the part about Anakin. It is two very different points in her life. I liked most of her casual wear in TPM. I'm not a huge fan of her formal wear. I wouldn't go as far as to call it ugly. But it wasn't pretty, in my honest opinion.
This was fun. Please send me more.
