I don’t know how that happened but I missed the twilight AU. Bless the last anon for making their top aus written by you because I absolutely love the twilight au (like all of your aus they are all fantastic) ! I have a question though, how does Anakin realise Obi-wan is a vampire ? Does he make a search like Bella in twilight, or does he connect the two dots by himself ? Also does anakin is freaked out by it or is he just horny and goes with it ?
you missed one of my posts ???🥺👉👈 shame😭
jk there’s so many and I think that au really only has that ficlet tagged, even though there were a few asks leading up to it 🤔 I can’t really remember BUT
to answer your question, i think this obi-wan (going back and forth over the line because he’s so old and just enough out of touch with the modern world that he’s like “I should absolutely be able to start a relationship with this 19/20 yo because he needs a guiding hand and this is how they did it in my time”) decides he’s going to help anakin and get him on the right track through any means necessary aka being around him like all the time and gently domming him into self reflection and less daredevil pursuits
BUT I think the most emotional and passionate thing would be if they start some sort of romantic and or sexual relationship
(I know Satine is mentioned in this story as obi-wan’s wife but in my mind when I wrote it i was thinking they're not really together, its just easiest to pretend for the humans and maybe they were together for like. the renaissance or something but not anymore)
and obi-wan and anakin get into a fight about something or another (probably anakin chafing under obi-wan's watch/control/protectiveness), and anakin says something like he doesn't know why obi-wan insists on being so controlling or high strung it’s not like anakin doesn’t have a parent already that’s not what he needs—
and obi-wan doesn’t MEAN to say anything, but anakin has gotten under his skin so successfully that he can’t even control himself when he snaps back that he has a parent for NOW, but he can smell shmi’s blood clot and the odds of her surviving this one are little to none
and anakin is like. what.
because. What?
But that’s basically how he finds out obi-wan is a vampire and then he starts his campaign almost immediately for obi-wan to turn Shmi so that she survives because anakin can’t let her die….and obi-wan is very weak when it comes to anakin and anakin’s needs so obviously he turns Shmi even though that means they have to take her and leave for a few years as she gets used to being a vampire which means no one’s guiding and helping anakin…..

if you were dropped into the woods, what animal would you eat first?
-forest anon
Thoroughly confused but equally intrigued by the asks you have left me, forest anon. I guess I'll bite.
I probably wouldn't eat animals but if I had to, some type of bird. Or rabbit
Fish would also be a good choice assuming I can find a river or lake

I'm vegetarian but I keep forgetting marshmallows have gelatin so conversations with my partner often go like
Me: Yeah I don't like lucky charms but I havent had them in like 10 years so maybe my tastes have changed
Him: I'll get some next time we go to the store
Makes myself a bowl tonight
Me: Nah still dont like them
Him: Why? Is it because the marshmallows?
Both of us simultaneously: Aw fuck

i became a vegetarian at the start of the summer of this year not out of any particular guilt-driven or ethics reasons but because i felt like my relationship to food had become very stagnant and borderline disassociative, where i never thought about what i would eat and would rely on the same few easy things all the time, and i needed something to give me both structure and a forced reason to actually acknowledge the food that i ate.
and it has really worked. i'm trying a lot of new things all year, and finding new favorite foods (poblano peppers! heirloom tomatoes!), and as a home cook i have been seeking out and preparing new recipes like never before which has been very fulfilling for not just my diet but my creativity and my hobbyism. this lifestyle change has succeeded exactly how i hoped it would by forcing me to create a brand new relationship to food!
and although it wasn't my intention i do in fact feel less ambient environmental and ethical guilt about my part as a consumer in industrialized meat production (and obviously individual choice has significant material limits which i don't hold against anyone, but still).
and i just think this has been really cool and if you feel like you're in a similar spot with your relationship to food then maybe consider it, even as a short-term experiment

can someone explain why non vegans have such a hard time understanding why a vegan would want to eat something that tastes/smells/feels like meat? Or seem to believe that we never liked meat or animal products?
i need a non vegan to answer, or a vegan who used to have this mindset bc it just doesnt make any sense
even with thinking veganism is a diet, it (their confusion) still doesnt make sense
PLEASE its driving me crazy i never get an answer. Like im not trying to start a fight i legitimately want to know the thought process /genuine
