Meow there :3😸
How you doing? :3
Hey hi hello ^V^
Tumblr media
I am alright ^V^ Haven't been as active this weekend since I've been out socialising (there were a karaoke event on friday and if there's something to note about me is that I can be sort of addicted to open mic and karaoke events x'D; yesterday there were an up-and coming drag contest with queer party afterwards and I got curious xD)
For this reason I've been very much a cat this weekend meaning I've been going to bed late (2 AM and 4 AM) then slept in (sorta; I woke up at 7.30 to put on my hrt then when it dried went to bed again till 11.30 one day and 12.30 the other).
In short I am good but a bit tried xD
How are you :3?

Starting to think about new years resolutions and what I want my new schedule to look like. I really want to commit to learning ballet, karate and figure skating. I am still trying to work out my schedule but at the moment I'm thinking something like this. I am thinking karate 2 hours a week and 2 hours of ballet, 30 minutes of character ballet, ice skating 2-3 times a week including learn to skate sessions. I would also like to go swimming if possible once a week. Some weeks I may go swimming on Wednesdays or on other days. I will take rest days this is just to give me an idea. I am also planning on doing my own at home workout 3 times per week which involves stretching, yoga, feet strengthening exercises and low weight high rep strength training.
Monday - karate 1 hour
Tuesday - ballet 2.5 hours
Wed- swimming
Thurs- karate 1 hour
Fri- ice skating
Sat- learn to skate session
Sun- learn to skate session

Happy Veganuary!! ☺️🌍💚
Is there anyone eating vegan for January, or new at eating more/all plant foods? Gentle reminder that you're always welcome to ask me for any advice.
I have been vegan for hm nearly 10 years now! I just realized how long it's been upon typing this. I eat as nutritionally dense & gut-healthy as I can and I'm not too keen on processed & packaged foods. I had my time with those at a teen and all because that's what I knew (I didn't have deep enjoyment with my food back then). But now that I know better and do better (and want better!), I definitely understand food and nourishment in a new way that brings me peace and joy. It's become the best act of self-love (and by default, earth love) that I perform.

YouTube please I’m just trying to get more into cooking & have more substantive nutrition in my mornings than a granola bar & my ADHD meds stop trying to give me an eating disorder

2023: The Year of Change
I’m going to be completely honest - life is really, really hard right now.
I have a lot to be grateful for - I have two amazing kids, I have a home, I have a good job. But I also don’t agree with toxic positivity - just because you have things that other people may not have, doesn’t mean life can’t be hard. It doesn’t mean you can’t be having internal struggles. It doesn’t mean you cant just be sad. I can simultaneously be sad, and grateful for what I have.
Much of what is making me sad and frustrated right now are things that are out of my control. So with the new year coming, I want to start making positive life changes, and taking charge of the things that I CAN control. There are some things in my life that I am depressed about, that only I can change. It’s time to take that step.
for 2023 my theme is change. I am feeling stagnant and depressed, and I need to make some changes.
1. My health. I am overweight to the point that my clothes are all way to tight and i’m physically uncomfortable in every way. I can’t even go up one flight of stairs without feeling winded. I know that body image issues are a fine line to walk, especially on the internet, but the literal weight of this is more than I can bear. I have joined WW, which I”ve always had success with in the past. I have also been following people like Plantiful Kiki and High Carb Hannah, and Chelsea Mae, as well as Dr. McDougall, and I really want to give whole food plant based eating a good try. I want to commit to eating a whole food, vegan diet for one year. I feel most healthy when I eat that way. I am also going to start doing workouts on the Walk at Home app. It feels the least daunting to me and for some reason the amount of online workouts just has me frozen right now and i have to stick with what I am comfortable with.
2. My spiritual life. I have been doing a lot of deconstruction and have so far come to the understanding that we are all one. I believe in a creator that has aspects of all genders. I feel that nature is divine and we also have a divine spark in us. I want to explore this more and really learn as much as I can.
3. Facebook - im quitting it for the year of 2023. It gives me a lot of anxiety and stress, and I feel that my life may improve if I get off it for the year. I will probably sitll keep instagram because seeing pictures makes me happy, and i can curate it more easily than Facebook. I just feel like there is way too much noise in my head and getting rid of facebook will fix a lot of that.
4. My Home - this is the year that I will pare down and declutter. I am by no means a minimalist - I am a creative brain, and I need my books and my art supplies and the things that make me happy. However, my house is so full of random clutter that I DON’T want, and the negative energy is dragging me down. I want to deep cleanse my house, physically and energetically. This place really isn’t where we are meant to be for the rest of our lives, so I want to pare down now before we move into a place that is better for us. The energy here has been negative from day 1 and I am ready to move on.
5. Lastly but most importantly, alcohol. I’m completely giving it up for all of 2023. It’s never done anything good for me, and I feel like only amazing things can come from cutting it out of my life.
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading. This was mostly word vomit so I could work things out for myself ;-)
Thanks for listening

My new year resolution is making (vegan) croque-monsieurs more often, they're delicious.
(For the non-French people here, croque-monsieur is basically a sandwich with toasted bread, ham and cheese, and if you make it fancy, some bechamel. Just use vegan alternatives to these ingredients to make it vegan)
(My grandma used to soak the bread in milk and add shredded cheese on top of the second slice of bread. She'd cook it in that weird donut-shaped pan. It was incredible.)
