Y/n L/n is rarely seen walking the streets in public anymore, but that is changing following her recent breakup from longtime love Charles Leclerc.

The 12-time Grammy winner was spotted out and about in Rome just one day after her release of her new single, Reckless, which reflects on her past relationship with the formula 1 driver.

L/n was joined by celebs friends Zendaya, Tom Holland, Sabrina Carpenter, Bella Hadid, and Alexa Demie for a night out at Shari Vari Play House in Vía de' Nari, Italy.

The news of her breakup sent shockwaves on social media. Tweets and memes were made, with fans expressing their disbelief and grief

Rumors had already spread that Leclerc was seeing someone else the last few months of thosr relationship. L/n just made those rumors official last night as she delivered a tribute to Leclerc and his new girlfriend Australian Youtuber Lola Ransdell, sending the media to a frenzy.

The “Karma” hitmaker opted for a dress from Mônot’s SS22 collection, a black dress with cutouts across the chest and stomach, leaving little fabric between L/n’s collarbone and lower waist.

People on twitter are already calling this “Y/n L/n’s Revenge Dress Era” .

The ultimate revenge dress is, of course, the off-the-shoulder black Christina Stambolian dress that Princess Diana wore while her former husband then-Prince Charles was admitting to an affair with current Queen Consort Camilla.

L/n kicked off her sold-out Eras Tour on March 17, and eagle-eyed fans noticed that Leclerc had been absent from her shows.

In case you're unfamiliar with the lore of YourShipName (portmanteau and couple name of L/n and Leclerc), you probably don't understand the distress caused by the news. For most, Leclerc is not even a household name, but for YourFandomsName, he's the titular Lover.

The Midnights singer and f1 driver started dating in 2016. Fans speculate they met at the 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix based on the lyrics of Reputation cut "Dress": "Flashback to when you met me / Your buzzcut and my hair bleached." Because, you guessed it, Leclerc sported a buzzcut and L/n’s hair was bleached.

At a secret session for Reputation, Leclerc reportedly told fans that the single "Gorgeous" was about her "angel boyfriend of one year." Other tracks off of Reputation like “Delicate," "Call It What You Want," and "King Of My Heart" are also thought to be about Leclerc.

Her next album, Lover, is also understood to be about Leclerc with songs like "Paper Rings," "Cornelia Street," "Daylight," and the titular "Lover."

During quarantine the couple started collaborating creatively. Leclerc surpassed his muse status and co-wrote Folklore tracks "Exile" and "Betty,"

Evermore songs "Champagne Problems" and "Coney Island, and most recently, "Sweet Nothing" off Midnights. Other tracks on her most recent three albums canonically about Leclerc include: "Invisible String" and "Peace."

While they opted to remain very private about their romance, the couple was hit with a slew of engagement rumors throughout the course of their ill-fated romance.

"I'm aware people want to know about that side of things," Leclerc told GQ in 2018. "I think we have been successfully very private and that has now sunk in for people."

L/n briefly touched on the privacy aspect of their relationship in her 2020 documentary, "Miss Americana."

"We decided together we wanted our relationship to be private," she said. "Even though [my public image in 2016] was really horrible, I was happy."

"But I wasn't happy in the way I was trained to be happy. It was happiness without anyone else's input. We were just... happy," the singer added.

The "Lavender Haze" songstress' exes famously include Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Pattinson, Fabian Frankel, Ben Barnes, Harry Styles, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Mikoto 1: this was a hard one, but this is probably my favourite.

“It's like what's wrong isn't wrong

I'm already the fake one”

This line is really interesting to me as it’s one of those lines where you probably wouldn’t understand it the first time you hear it and there’s a lot of layers to unravel it in.

A surprising amount of people who first heard it thought it was mikoto putting on a persona or whatever, which is true but in the context of what meme really is it’s not true.

And then there’s the second layer which is what I first thought when I heard it. Something like this could be interpreted as mikoto thinking he’s fake or whatever and being scared while John stands behind him doing some sort of a gun jester to his head, but if you really think about it that’s not the case.

And then there’s the third layer which is what I think is the truth of this line. Mikoto saying “I’m already the fake one” wouldn’t make sense because at the time of meme Mikoto would’ve not been aware that he’s a system, so the only one saying that could be John. And that puts an interesting perspective onto things, as looking at meme the first time you’d probably assume he’s a monster, but realising he’s the one in the part when the mindscape goes red puts a new perspective onto things. He’s scared, wondering what the truth is and if stuff is really wrong. And “I’m already the fake one” may be an indication of him viewing himself as the “fake mikoto” as we know from more recent stuff that he doesn’t see himself in a good light so it’d make sense here. And the mikoto standing behind him may be an imagined version of bokuoto.

Even now with all the stuff we know about John it’s still very important, as compared to his mostly stoic self we see him as he’s scared here, vulnerable, questioning his existence. And especially that this was right after the scene where mikoto picks up the devil card and it disappears, creating this red mindscape. This could be a big indicator about John’s “birth” and his perception of his identity.

Mikoto 2: already answered for this for mikoto so go check out my response in the other ask, but this is my favorite screenshot.

Also since there’s two asks of this I’m gonna drop a little honourable mention.

Mikoto 15: Natsuki Hanae as mikoto is probably one of my favourite vocal performances in milgram, although at the same time everyone’s performance is so good. I absolutely love how good the distinction between Mikoto and John’s vocal gait is (idk the terminology for this). Like Mikoto has a higher pitched voice and has a larger range, even when it just comes to talking you can notice that. John sounds a bit deeper and more stoic, and it’s like you can see his facial expression just by hearing his voice. Something like that would be really hard to master and it truly sounds like there’s different people talking with the same voice. And even in the songs you can notice this as well.

And the screaming, oh god the screaming. In the trial 2 teaser movie & voice trailer the screaming is absolutely horrifying. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a vocal performance on a character screaming as good as this. It chills me to my core and especially compared to mikoto’s regular tone of voice is so scary to hear that voice screaming. And it’s hard to know what type of screaming it really is, it sounds angry, but also not really? It also sounds sorrowful and scared and I have no idea how Hanae managed to pull that off. And in general all of the milgram VA’s are really good at performing bone chilling screams as their characters, I would name some examples here but that’s the case for everyone.

re: my tags on this post, @psychicbluebirdmiracle wanted a list so here’s some of my favorite Robin Hood adaptations in no particular order:

Sidenote: most of these are either extremely niche and/or “you may think it’s bad but I think it’s good” because that’s just what my tastes are.

BBC’s Robin Hood: You all knew this one was going to be up here and if you didn’t, you haven’t been following me long enough. This is what gave birth to my brain worms. I’ve given a PowerPoint presentation about this which was three hours long. I have subjected other people to this show to the point that there is now a yearly celebration where we watch only one specific episode of this show and make memes about it. I am insufferable about this. The day I stop thinking about this show is the day I have lost all brain activity.

Back to Sherwood: I am once again reminding everyone that I have offered to exchange my firstborn child for the original English version of this show. The Vibes on this show are perfect and I will never forgive the people that cancelled it after only 13 episodes. Fun time-travel related hijinks? Sign me up.

Princess of Thieves: Who doesn’t love a Keira Knightley movie?

Disney’s Robin Hood: Listen, you just can’t go wrong with this one. Very solid all around. But there’s another reason I’m putting it on this list. My cousins (ages 6 and 4) were staying over with us on Easter and I put this movie on at one point to get them to sit down for a few minutes while my parents made lunch. My godson (the 6-year-old) asked me why I knew so much about what was going on in the movie and I explained that I watched it when I was young, and then my dad said that the movie is so old that he watched it when he was a child. It was a lovely inter-generational bonding moment over my special interest as my dad explained to my cousin about the different characters and how there’s a lot of different versions of the story.

Not really an adaptation but continuing from the last one, this YouTube video: Some of the best analysis on why most mainstream Robin Hood adaptations suck. This is why I mostly just like the versions that have good Vibes.

This soundtrack to a Swedish Robin Hood musical: I can’t even begin to explain how upset I am that I found out about this musical after it had already been cancelled due to the pandemic. I could have gone and seen it. There’s not even a DVD of it. At least we have the soundtrack which is full of bangers. Everything sounds as over-produced as you’d expect from the country that makes over-produced Eurovision songs, and I love every second of this. If you’re not going to listen to the whole thing, at least listen to Prince John’s song.

This even more obscure soundtrack to a Finnish Robin Hood play from 1997: Everything here is just Vibes. I wish I knew what the actual plot of the play was but these songs are great on their own. The fact that the singer from a famous Finnish band (Neon 2) sings a couple of the songs is just ?????A Choice???? but a perfect one at that.

Robin Hood: The Great Escape: My most vivid memories of listening to this play that’s a podcast is when my IBS was really bad and I was on the bathroom floor crying in pain, so I just put this on to distract me. Anyway, this one has good characters, interesting mix of different cultures and LGBT+ representation, and it all works seamlessly in a way that doesn’t feel forced. Definitely worth a listen.

Robin McKinley’s The Outlaws of Sherwood: I bought this book from my local library’s clearance about 15 years ago. It’s a solid fun adventure and that’s pretty much all I can say about it.

The Finnish opera adaptation of Robin Hood: The dogs in this are nightmare fuel and the whole thing is bordering on the “so bad it’s good” line. The lyrics are so weird at times, it’s awfully cringy sometimes but I love it so much. I own it on DVD and it has English subtitles so if anyone wants to watch it sometime let me know.

Carrie Vaughn’s The Ghosts of Sherwood and The Heirs of Locksley: I need a third part of this. These are a quick read, about 100 pages each, about the children of Robin Hood. And although the premise may sound cliché and childish, I swear these are so good and worth your time.

C.K. Brooke’s Marian: Princess Thief: Ah, yes, the “disappointingly heterosexual” one. Putting aside the fact that this book missed a great opportunity in making at least one of the characters gay, it has an amazing all-female-cast of characters (there’s a male love interest there too I guess, I don’t care about him). This book made me feel like how Sailor Moon made me feel in high school with it’s focus on the Power of Friendship.

That one Finnish audio drama that’s based on Finnemore’s version: Everyone sounds so horny in this one for some reason and the actual text is not helping. The theme song is a banger. It’s a shame the CDs were copy protected so I couldn’t rip the files for myself.

A black-and-white recording of a Finnish play from 1971: The fashion is so 70s it hurts my eyes. The songs are so bad. The plot is almost non-existent but I love every second of this. (I would have linked it but you can unfortunately only watch it in Finland)

The 2009 movie with a dragon in it?????: I don’t remember most of this except that it’s definitely in the “so bad it’s good” category. They just shouldn’t make high-budget versions of Robin Hood when low-budget productions are so much more entertaining.

Edale Lane’s Heart of Sherwood: I need to re-read this one because it had everything I could have asked for. A lesbian Robin Hood with a good story that was a fun adventure which still somehow made me very emotional. 10/10.

That one zoom-play on YouTube: I bought the novel that was made based on this play just because this was so entertaining. In a year I’ve only read about 20 pages of the book but the play was so good and at one point so full of twists I was staring at the screen with my mouth open for like 10 minutes.

I could probably include even more things from my List (I have a list where I collect all the different versions I’ve seen/read/listened to etc), but this is already too long and I ended up taking a few things out. I only included versions I’ve enjoyed the most but there’s still plenty of good ones out there.

i have a rewrite of ER season 6 onward in the works because in my version of canon lucy never died no i’m not bitter. i’m excited for like. pretty much everything in that fic bc lucy is my baby and i would like to redeem carter’s storyline so bad😭

also i have miscellaneous dbh fics i’m itching to write!! i’m thinking i’ll make it a series of little drabbles because most of my ideas are like just “what kind of pets would each of the androids have” and “what if they tried french fries.” because i’m such a sophisticated cool person

three ships: SEONHWI (my country: the new age), wangxian (mdzs), aaand i cant remember anything else at the moment, even wangxian feels a bit cloudyXD harry/drako in adult post-canon-slice-of-life AUs was always my comfort ship though.

first ship: oooh boy let me tell you a storyXDD it’s kind of irl RPF BUT (long story ahead!) -

here it is: i was ~15, and i was in a school hiking club, and we went on a 2 weeks mountain hike in two squads - older kids (last year of school) and younglings (like me, second to last year of school), supervised by our geography teacher. It was an amazing experience, we were responsible for everything but trail navigating and pace.

And in the older squad (those kids were like only a year older than us but the gap felt insurmountable, they were Wise Adults (TM)) there were two leaders, two best friends, one tall, handsome and like aristocratic (but pretty outgoing) and the other one an inch shorter, with longer hair, always laughing, and he had The Guitar (TM) and was not afraid to use it. All the girls were either infatuated with one or the otherXD

So, those two cute guys, always tousling, sharing a tent (with three more boys, ‘cause limited tent amount, tents are f* heavy), laughing, constantly bickering with lots and lots of innuendos, ‘cause you know, teenagers))

And one evening almost at the end of the hike we were sitting around the campfire, and The Laughing One with The Guitar was singing the most heartfelt song about a breakup , which coinsidentally had a name of his friend in it, while looking straight at said friend with laughter sparkling in his eyes,

4. favourite dish specific for your country? Makaronilaatikko aka macaroni casserole maybe? At least afaik it's a very Finnish dish. It's just ground beef and macaronis (as in pasta), and then a mixture of milk and eggs, and it's made in the oven. And it's eaten with ketchup usually.

5. favourite song in your native language? Okay this is extremely difficult to answer to. I listen to several Finnish bands, and I don't really have just one favorite, I don't even have any ultimate favorite song from any of these bands! I have several faves from all of them :D But right now I can't really think about any other band than Apulanta (which is my favourite Finnish band!), and how this song is one of the tracks I go back to so often, and it's definitely one of my favorite songs from them.

7. three words from your native language that you like the most? This kind of questions are always so difficult because when asked for a list of something, I forget about all the words in the world. But I just found one that I like:

öttömönkiäinen. It's like, from the word "ötökkä", a bug, and the verb "mönkiä", to crawl. I just think it's a fun (colloguial) word to use when talking about a random bug lmao (There's also other versions: öttiäinen and öttömöttiäinen.)

And then two more words... hmm. Okay I'm gonna say tietokone - a computer - but simply because it's a fun compound word consisting of two words: tieto, and kone. And the literal meaning of that word is "knowledge machine"! I find that a fun example of Finnish compound words that can sometimes be quite descriptive when you sit down to think about them :D

As a third I think I'm going to answer something that already kinda answers also the last question of this ask, as it's a dialect thing! The standard Finnish word for "to go" is "mennä", but my dialect keeps changing that into "männä". Idk why it's so fun to me, but it is. And also all other features about my dialect that make the words look different from the standard written Finnish. So yeah, I really like this regional word "männä" :D To say "Minä menen." (I [will] go.) in Savo dialect, you say either "Mie meen." or even: "Mie mään." I find that fun :D

10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language? Fun fact: I don't actually swear in Finnish at all :D I use the bit milder "swearwords" to replace the others. But I think my favorite one is "helekkari", that's the Savo version of the word "helkkari". It doesn't mean anything specific, but it's quite fun to say out loud :D

11. favourite native writer/poet? I don't like poems at all, and I have read very few books from Finnish authors. I think I'm going to answer this with: Tove Jansson. She's the creator of Moomins, and she wrote several Moomin books as well. I read a few of them as a kid, and I really should reread those one day and also finish that whole project and read all of her Moomin books. Altho, her first language was Swedish and she didn't do the Finnish translations of her books, but I'm still going to count her in because she was from Finland after all.

18. do you speak with a dialect of your native language? Yes I do! I speak a Savo dialect, or one version of it that is more like a combo of several dialects around this area, but falls under Savo dialects nevertheless. I don't know what else to say, I love dialects and talking about them but... idk what else should I say about it here :D

Oh, quick thing I want to share!! My new math teacher is an absolute crackhead and I love him for it— One student literally asked him “Sir, what’s your favourite burger chain in America?” And for the next seven minutes, right in the middle of class, said teacher rants about McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s- Honestly?? The best experience ever- Just imagine,, a man in his mid-twenties ranting to a bunch of teenagers about burger chains,,

He went off on the main reasons why people go to these places-

McDonald’s? You go for the fries and soft drinks.

Wendy’s? You go for the nuggets and frostys (and of course, the Baconater [I have no clue what the Baconater is, and tbh, I’m terrified to look it up])

Burger King? You go because you hate yourself.

He also said that from February 15 to March 20 McDonald’s serves its Shamrock Shakes (how he knows the exact dates is hilarious to me). I asked him if he knew about the Grimace Shake and I had never seen someone whip their head around so fast- He said, and I quote, “Oh my GOD. YES. I know all about Grimace. My friend spent his entire weekend watching the McDonald’s lore, and when he was drunk off his butt, spent like an hour telling me all about it. So now I know all about the Hamburglar, Grimace, and the other characters in the show.”

Honestly?? He has the crack energy I aspire to have when I’m in my twenties- He also wrote all of his points on the board, and of course, I HAD to take a picture of it.

So we have another late one. May I start with the fact that this fic is a beautiful version of the “if you love me go to sleep, know your limits”, meme. And I ADORE it. It is wonderful and warm and Dream is in his soft boi era and I’m in love with it. The fact that Dream experiences every dream of every living thing and yet his feelings for Hob are SO STRONG that he NOTICES when he is not there is enough to make me cry. But Dream reveling in the routine of Hob’s life had me in a fucking puddle. The way Dream just wants to be a part of it as much as he wants to simply be present for it. You can feel the eons of existing in the way his feelings are described and that is once again a BIG favorite of mine. I love how Hob is so unfazed by him at this point in his life that he just figures this might as well happen but there’s still a little bit of embarrassment, not really embarrassment but…being unnerved for once? I don’t know how to describe it, but the way that Hob for the first time realizes that he’s sharing this tiny part of domesticity with Dream, but he’s almost too tired to be fully embarrassed about it. Anyways, if you love Dream x Hob domesticity as much as I do, READ THIS. Absolutely loved it! Thanks to @astrangebird for sharing! 💜💜

Oh no I missed a day....GUESS I'M DOING TWO POSTS THEN!!!!

For day 11, I give you an incredibly recent read! Oh, the way my heart actually skipped a beat reading this. I've said it before but when writers can portray the depth of years onto an ancient character the writing SLAPS 👏🏾. Listen kids, Dream of the endless is basically the pathetic meow meow equivalent to an eldrich terror. Reading fics about him is honestly a LARGE hit or miss for me. Because people will either treat him like a horny teenager or a boring old man. He's the collective unconscious of EVERY LIVING THING. That being said, the portrayal I have of him in my head is a pretty damn high standard. BUT SHIT @fellshish really hit the nail on the head for me. It's not that Dream never acts dumb about stuff, it's just the WAY he's dumb about stuff is so...well...different. The way that Dream's inner monologue is in SUCH denial if not only for the fact that as long as he has control then none of it is real. Until it is, until he wants it to be real so badly that he forgets a bit that this is HOBS DREAM. I absolutely love how at the end of it all, he gives the choice back to Hob. He stops trying to control destiny as if that wasn't what he's been doing this whole time. He surrenders...to Hob. And the romanticism of him surrendering to him regardless of how Hob reacts was just absolutely beautiful. Anyways, now that I have 1,000% spoiled this fic for you, you should STILL go read it! I don’t think you guys understand how much I needed this. Netflix has a habit of cancelling shows with representation in them and I’m scared for this show. Fingers crossed that the bastard son and the devil himself gets renewed for season two! 🥹 Now, this fic. I needed something to fill my head with after this show became my new hyper fixation of the week. The show is so much fun and I honestly love the poly vibes that I’m getting from the main trio! No love triangle, just a triad. As it stands this fic is like getting a warm cup of hot chocolate after being outside in the snow. After the emotional STORM that was that season finale, reading this was like tying a beautiful bow on top of a heartbreak. This fic had me yearning for the love these three have for each other in the darkest times. And hey, maybe this wasn’t the cheerful bow that other people want, but it’s the aftercare post massacre that I needed. Because maybe the bad times were the good times ❤️. So if you’re obsessed with this show just like I am, go give this a read! Thanks to @wandersmoklight for sharing! 💝

We’ve got something new folks! No nessian today! 😂 Okay, I will admit I watched the old guard movie before I read the comics but I’m SO glad I did!!! Props to @hoax1918 for the artwork it is GORGEOUS! This fic goes into an everyday detail that I absolutely love! I love how this just exposes the reasons they care for each other and how they got there. It’s a simple gesture, but they can’t help it! They’re literally magnetic. There’s something about the story that just brims with the electricity of the possible. I fully enjoyed just how hard they’re trying NOT to be fond of each other in public. But again, they can’t help it and I will forever love the pining in this dynamic. Nicky and Joe just have this sweet sadness about them before they become a couple and I don’t think I’ve found that in many other ships! So if you’re looking for a bit of ancient yearning definitely give this fic a read! Thanks to @shadowhannibad for sharing 💘

Ok I am still on my Dreamling domestic bullshit. Sorry not sorry. This really made me want to curl up by a fire and hug a cat. The way that this just slaps me in the face with the need to have someone care for me, the tiny details of everyday care just KILL ME. And that’s it isn’t it? That’s the love that Dream and Hob so desperately need, they want someone who will love every detail of who they are. I think that’s what they deserve! After centuries of pining and being alone, Hob doesn’t want to hold back! And Dream is venturing again into love when it has never turned out well for him, he’s afraid. The apprehension that this fic explores, the silent touches, and HILARIOUS timing on Dreams part. But Dream is never convenient is he? And Hob for all that he is has never bothered to care! Not when he was rich, not when he was poor. Dream just integrating himself into Hob’s life accidentally! Literally chefs kiss 💋! This fic really is just full of details that I continue to loose my mind over (because I definitely read it too many times). Sometimes after reading the sandman I forget that Dream loves quiet, yet so so loud. He integrates the person he loves into his very being. He has seen every for of love every living being has to offer. Love is a part of Dream as much as slumber. I absolutely LOVED every bit of this fic! And if you love Domestic Dream and Hob, you NEED to read it! Thanks to @wordsinhaled for sharing! 💙💙

Somehow I have 66,591 words? It's not a lot, but I don't really focus on word count when I write.

I mainly write for Back to the Future, but sometimes I have been possessed to write about Shakespeare plays (i'm being haunted by Billy Shakes himself)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to as much as I can. I really like engaging with the fandom and I know that I like talking to other fic authors about their works. But sometimes it stresses me out or I just forget…

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Definitely Chapter 1 of Catch the Winds of Destiny. Poor George and Lorraine. They’re so miserable. It made me sad writing it.

Although, my chapter about Einstein in Doc's Dogs was also angsty.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Ooooo. A lot of my stories are fluff and end happy, but I think what makes a story have a happy ending is one that shows characters at their worst and still ends happy somehow. So, by that logic, Chapter Three of Catch the Winds of Destiny has the happiest ending.

But if we’re just going based on pure happiness at the end, not just being hopeful, then it’s gotta be Rebel With a Cause.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No, thankfully. All the commenters I get are very sweet and lovely and honestly encourage me to keep going.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Absolutely not. It doesn't appeal to me as a writer or as a reader.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I actually forgot I wrote this, but I wrote one (1) crossover fic for The Mummy and Jungle Cruise called New Friends.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I have no idea, but it would honestly be really cool if that happened--as long as I have knowledge that it happened.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No. It sounds really fun, though. I just have a really weird writing schedule (aka: I get bursts of writing inspiration and then a week later I cannot write at all) and I feel like that might mess with things??? I dunno.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Lorraine/George MY BELOVEDS. Oh my goodness do not even get me started. They are so adorable when they finally get their crap together and aren’t miserable. A close second is Marty/Jennifer. And because no one can stop me, Doc & Marty is my favorite platonic ship (their friendship is everything to me).

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Real talk? My current WIP, Someday We'll Find It. I don’t doubt that I won’t finish it, per se, but I am scared I’ll lose interest in finishing it. I’ve gotten into a new hyperfixation and usually that means my old one (Back to the Future) will get pushed outta the way and I don’t think about it as much. I’ve been trying really hard to balance both of them, so I’m praying I can still finish it.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I would say dialogue. It’s what comes to me naturally when I start writing. When I go to revise the story, I don’t have to add or delete too much dialogue. I think most of my stories tend to be driven by dialogue and that’s what most people comment about in my fics. I feel like I am better at showing who a character is through dialogue than other things.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Prose. I struggle so much with how much to write. Is it too much that it’s distracting? Is it too little and no one can get immersed in the story? I also tend to go on tangents with little stories that I have to figure out if it benefits or hurts the story in any way.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I’ve never done it before. If I were to do it, I would probably have the character speak in the language and work on making sure any dialogue tags and responses from other characters help a reader who only speaks English understand what is being said without having to Google translate it.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Warrior Cats. In elementary school, my friend and I would pass a folded up piece of paper. One of us would draw our OC saying/doing something and then the other would respond. There was nothing pre-planned, we just made it up as we went. We actually finished one and I got my dad to photocopy it so my friend and I could have it saved digitally and they could print it off.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

How could you do this to me???? I love so many of them for so many reasons. I love all my fics!!! (okay that’s a lie. But shhhh). I can’t pick one for my favorite of All Time, so I’ll pick one that’s special to me at the moment:I Fell For You. It was so self-indulgent and I loved trying to figure out how George would respond to the situation in the original Twin Pines timeline.

have you got any pets? — not anymore 😔 my beloved doggo passed away about a year ago (he had just turned 15!) and it was very hard for us to go through. he was quite literally my oldest and closest friend. we’ve been considering getting a new dog soon, but we have to be sure that we have at least one person at home at all times to help raise it from a puppy

what sports do you play/have you played? — as a kid i was made to join ballet, softball, baseball, and soccer teams, and i was terribly average at all of them. on my own time i enjoy badminton quite a bit, but our lawn is infested with moles so now it’s too dangerous to be running around on there. and as a kid we would build an ice rink in the backyard and play hockey which was super fun. oh, and i also did marching band for a few years and i’m including it as a sport because fuck you that’s why (not you you. you as in the faceless being that determines what a sport is)

how tall are you? — i think i’m 5'5"/5'6" ish, so about 1.66 meters ?

favorite subject in school? — i’m not even sure anymore. i’ll cheat and say design because that was my main subject at university

dream job? — i would love to be paid to travel the world, see sights, and learn new languages. like, imagine a few months or one year per country, ooohh

In all seriousness I actually really like this event. Ace, Riddle, and Epel were especially nice in this event, and I love the parallels to book one. I also really like how this is a parody on the fairytale love story, and the fairytale prince and princess. The commentary it makes on not needing to be “perfect” in order to have love and the fact that “perfect” doesn’t even really exist is nice as well.

Anyways, now we’re done ✌️

I think I’m gonna take a short break from this series until the last part of book 5 comes out 😅

rp experience / how long. Probably 15 years total? I’ve been writing Mycroft for over 10 years straight now - at least one reply almost every day over that entire period, no hiatus. The other characters on the multi have been around for various periods, but I’ve had some long breaks on some of them

best experience. I am a simple man and the experience that I love the most is always when a friend sends me a plot idea or something that reminds them of my character without any kind of prompt

rp pet peeves / dealbreakers. Anyone that talks to me on discord is well aware of these :) The tl;dr for peeves is lack of communication. For dealbreakers: no about page, not trimming threads, getting publicly involved in ooc drama

fluff, angst, or smut. Depends on the day. Ideally a bit of both. I like angst that leads to fluff a lot. Never really done smut. I’d give it a go but tbh I don’t think any of my shipping partners are interested in actually writing that stuff out and I don’t particularly feel the need to do so either. If I write a ship, I do like to consider the dynamics that would potentially be involved

plots or memes. 100% plot. Come and plot with me, work out how our characters interact, and then a mix of plotting and sending memes in once we have an idea of how things work between the two of them

long or short replies. Medium? Like, 3-5 paragraphs? I like longer things too, but I think 3-5 is usually the sweet spot

are you like your muse. In some ways, but not in others. I would hope I’m not as big an arse as he is! But we have similar tastes in a lot of ways. I think it’s hard to write a character in the long term if they’re not like you in at least a few ways

03. usually, i match length. but i can also write a lot. i write a hecking lot, especially when it comes to meme in askbox. i ramble a lot. but don’t feel stressed over matching lengths - just give me something to reply to.

04. if you wish to continue a thread from asks, feel free to create a new post and tag me in it.

05. i’m known as a bit of a muse bicycle so i can roleplay any side characters to spice things up on and complement the threads.

09. yes, i am over 20 but i most likely will not be writing sex stuff with just anyone off the bat. main reason being i am pretty bad with it and i wouldn’t want to accidentally give anyone’s character a derection or anything. i do like to write the foreplay though but anything that comes after is pretty hard to interest me unless it’s with a shipping partner. also, i make a lot of sex innuendos joke because unfortunately that’s my main comedy go to but it doesn’t mean that i want to write smut.

13. i portray the chinese version of the game when it comes to characterization of the characters and lore.

15. I have massive social anxiety, coupled with a lot of other shit with my mental health so I will be selective with who I will continue to thread with. If something bothers me, I’ll let you know nicely and gently.
