I really like how you characterize Aang as letting Azula be the one concession away from his values, it’s an interesting subversion to how a lot of the time it’s the other way around with his values ultimately influencing her and their future together

thank you! i love the idea of azula bringing out the version of aang that gets buried under the weight of being the avatar — a boy who gets angry and clumsy and jealous and ultimately loves adventure and family more than anything, but has experienced unimaginable loss. i feel like azula is one of the only people equipped to stomach his dark side, so he's more likely to bare it to her over anyone else. the brilliance of their dynamic is a two-way street!

My feet hurt, lmao.

However, I've gotten everything but my books into the house, and now I'm working on sorting through everything. I'm going from a basement room to an upstairs room, so I think the brighter surroundings will definitely help my mental health. It's nice and bright, and I've got so many ideas as to where I want to put everything.

My main goal in this move is to improve myself mentally, because I got myself stuck in a rut of go to work, hide in room, rinse and repeat. It was really bad for my anxiety and depression, and the friend I'm moving in with knows that. She's been really helpful in letting me know that I don't have to isolate myself, which is a huge thing for me.

Once I get everything sorted the way I want it, then I plan to take the summer to just relax and work on myself.

Hope everyone is doing well, and I might have some ideas for art floating around in my head for when I get situated!

Batter with a Reader who Collects Pins

While Batter wouldn’t understand their appeal at first, he would think you looked pretty cute with them. It would take him some time to understand, even if you did explain to him why you were collecting them in the first place. At first, he might think of them as some form of armour or weapon, or maybe even an enchanted item that would help you in combat, given how colourful they are as well.

It would genuinely take him wearing one to make him believe otherwise. It’s a rather cute image, though: The cat pin you would wear, colourful as it could be, on him and his monochrome uniform. While it may not make him look any more intimidating, the look on your face as you almost squeal at him is enough for him to keep wearing them. Depending on what kind of material they are made of, their motive or image as well as the quantity, Batter might actually gain some bonus from wearing them. That’s just the way his world works.

Now, if you show him some pride pins, he won’t know the meaning behind them, at all, thinking they’re just some pretty colours and colour palettes mixed together to form another pretty pin of yours. Again, you would need to explain their purpose and meaning as he is not well versed in most things from our world. Chances are, you’ll have to explain to him what a turtle or a frog is as well. However, once you do, while I don’t think it would impact him as greatly as other people, he would be happy to wear the pins you give him that would click with him. Then again, you’ll likely have to enlighten him on sex, gender, attraction and the likes. However, he is more than happy to spend time with and learn from you. Even if it means looking a bit silly and having Zacharie laugh at him.

What seems to be a middle school to high school age girls journal, it depicts the possible events of an “undead apocalypse”. The book seems to be worn and dirtied, the pages are yellowed and dirty. There are three total books that were found inside of a bag in the woods, along with a knife, clothes, and an old Iphone, possibly an 11-13.

“Flu Season” 

The “flu” has been going around my school recently. But I don’t think it’s the flu. So many people are leaving, for so long too. And they don’t seem to be coming back. People are worried about their sick friends staying home and not contacting them the entire time. So far, I'm guessing about 200 people have left. Which is a huge number, this leads me to keep thinking that something is going to happen. I just have this feeling that something big, something tragic, is coming. But I don’t know what it is. But I do know that the sirens in my head are going off. It scares me. I haven’t been able to sleep due to thinking so hard about this big thing. The sickness seems to be highly contagious, anyone who comes into direct contact with someone who’s sick (aka touching them) appears to get sick too. It also doesn’t seem like there’s a way to prevent it. This is why I think it’s not the flu. The flu is preventable, and you don’t get the flu immediately after touching someone with the flu. It isn’t that contagious, but what is that contagious. I’m not sure, but I’m scared.
