I painted this a long while ago when the party first split cause I knew I wouldn’t have to time paint anything when the Hells finally reunited cause of my current job. I obviously thought it’d probably be Imogen in a really dark place and Laudna being full of joy etc, when they reunited, but based on last week's episode, it’s definitely going to be the opposite. Makes me want to redo this now and switch them around. Someday when I have time, maybe.

look i tried to wait until friday to post this, but i've been vibing with this idea for almost a week now and after finally getting to design what they'd look like, i just can't wait!

The boys got separated at about age 2-3. (something happened while splinter was out. idk what yet. just hear me out.) they each ended up getting raised in different places/by different people.

Leo got raised by the Daimyo. Mikey ended up with the Shredder (Karai kept him out of trouble a lot.) Raph originally got found by the Utroms and was with them for about a year before he accidentally messed with an experimental teleporter and ended up with the Triceritons. And Donny? He got raised by the Jones family as Casey's little brother.

It sounds pretty cool, but it's really just so stupid. B/c Leo, Raph, and Mikey are all these really awesome fighters by the time they meet, but Donny's just some dude that goes to high school and his entire combat experience can be sumed up with one self defense course he took at age 10 and playing hockey sometimes with his brother.

It's so damn stupid. I love it. i'll probably post more about it later (maybe an actual friday update) but for now. Enjoy my stupid boys : )
