Idk I don’t get the whole interpretation of France, especially in FRUK, being so chill and easy going. Like to the point where he’ll cheat on his partner, and or isn’t bothered by his partner cheating (I don’t mean poly relationships). Like France? Of all people? NOT the jealous type?

People are free to characterize characters how they want, but if you look at some things in the manga 😭 he definitely seems like the type to be petty and or jealous. I’m unsure about the stereotype for French people tbh; there are many of course, but I feel France fits more of the petty stereotype rather than the pervert stereotype. Especially if he’s characterized as being Parisian (if we go off of stereotypes).

I know people interpret England as the jealous one, which I mean, he is, don’t get me wrong. However, I think France is also a jealous person to some degree; the way they both express it is what’s different. Sure, England is a little more on the overt side, and to can tell when he’s seething with envy at someone (especially if he isn’t trying to hide it). I feel like France would be a little more covert with jealousy, at least it depends on the severity of the jealousy he’s experiencing. As an example, I could see him wrapping his arm around England and pulling him as close to him as he can if he feels someone’s getting too touchy or flirtatious.

I don’t like him being jealous in a mean or abusive sort of way though. I like the thought of him being protective and maybe somewhat obsessive over England if that makes sense. England is the cat personality sort of jealous (I think he has such cat energy tbh). Like a “how could you starve me of attention all day >:(” in a fussy cat sorta way. But I think for France he’s more of a “this is my Brit, get your own” sorta way. I feel like the word “possessive” would make it sound negative, but I don’t know what other word to use. /lh /gen

I watched kung fu panda 1 & 2 back to back and Cried. MY THOUGHTS AND FAVORITE PARTS BELOW!!

‪I fucking love movies that are so confident in themselves and their identities. Kung fu panda was never unsure of itself it just went All in on amazing fight choreography and colors and animation and Awesomeness silliness . AND INCREDIBLE PLATONIC RELATIONSHIPS. ALL THE CHARACTER INTERACTIONS ARE SO BELIEVABLE. No forced heterosexual romance?? (Or ANY romance.) In MY western animated 2008 movie?? What is this????!!!

I fucking love that Tai Lung is hyped up so MUCH to be unstoppable and intimidating throughout this whole movie and yet the final battle with Po is so believable. They didn’t nerf Tai Lung at all to be equal with Po, Po is just so confident of himself and his fighting style is unlike anything Tai has ever encountered. HE HAS NEVER FACED SILLY FIGHTING. That’s his weakness….. He wasn’t silly enough. And throughout the film Po is like. Really doubting who he is and hating on himself but it’s so empowering by the end. He’s just so Him! And IT WORKS!!!!!!!!

And a little bit theater kid. very Theatrical. Kind of gay. “Your parents never loved you” PROJECTING MUCH? ?? 💔💔 AND THE WAY HE JUST ACCEPTS HIS DEATH FROM HIS OWN WEAPON AT THE END. He literally just closes his eyes and Takes It at point blank range. He was not ok. He reached a point of no return the moment he tried to kill off the pandas. then he starts to hang around them more because cut this man some slacks. poor baby shuhei was so busy and tired running the squad all by himself.

cook him dinner, invite him over for a movie night, buy him new leather jackets okayy? 🥺 he forgot when was the last time he actually felt safe and secured around someone. (kaname rlly broke his heart so put them back for him pls) and omg his guitar playing lol deep down inside he knows he's kinda bad at it so the fact that reader takes the time to listen to it, he's crying river inside. ╥﹏╥

sadly, it's like what you said, shinigami and humans don't end up together. (idk if it's forbidden or just…physically not possible?) he probably doesn't realize he's crossing the line until his muguruma-taicho come back and whip his ass back to senses. shuhei was too drowned in the comfort that reader provides him that he doesn't realize it's love.

he'd be upset and conflicted once he realized his feelings for them. in one hand, he doesn't want to give up on his rs with them, but he also couldn't just leave his squad and responsibilities as a shinigami. (can we talk abt how hard he worked to get into the academy)

now, rangiku-san comes in handy bc her coping mechanism is drinking and that's how she comforts her friends too. shuhei is gonna get all drunk and teary, browsing through his album of their photos together and wailing for another bottle of sake. 😔 kira probably disapprove this kind of rs, but he couldn't bear to sees his senpai in this state. (these three really know what it means to go through a heartbreak again, don't they?)

eventually, kira would be the one who seek them out and break the truth to reader. he'd tell them about the shinigami, soul society, hollow and everything. he thinks reader deserve to know that much, if shuhei is serious about their rs and future together.

if reader decides that they can accept him for who he is and are willing to work around it, kira would bring them to the soul society to meet him. shuhei would be devastated when they see him in his shihakusho and his katana. (worse, if he released his kazeshini) but no worries, flash him a warm smile, give him reassuring hugs, tell him he's worthy and enough and deserve love ahsjdjdkkdldhdjdkd 😫💗

now everyone would be happily cheering for their reconciliation in the background. (shinji might have to restrains a certain white haired mohawk from chewing anyone's head off tho)

Favorite of the new episodes if you have one?

even though it had my least favorite elimination from new gen overall, ep 4. and here is why. warning for long, spoiled filled rambles. (the tldr is that it was funny and enjoyable)

1. it gave me lore

this is the main reason tbh. even though the challenge wasn't as action-packed and exciting, it still gave me these little bits and pieces about the characters. like scary girl lives in a funeral home! that is canon! do you know how fun it is to learn about this cast in the absence of those character interviews or short clips they used to do? it's SO fun!

2. it gave me an axelle conversation

LMFAO they talked once for two seconds just to question priya's hope in emma, and i got to mark "axelle convo" off my personal bingo card. i just think that's neat. others might be disappointed at the direction they went with these two but personally, i won because i got to laugh.

3. it gave me that one julia confession

you know. the one where she's like "awww 😊 if mk's brain drove a cool car, i'd date it." like. that was quite possibly the greatest thing ever stated in a confessional. that was yuri fuel. my gosh. julia is crushing SOOOOO hard, you cannot tell me otherwise.

4. it gave me bowie's dancing

idk i just think he ate LOL. i rewatched that a good six times. you can tell he practiced for a moment like this.

5. it gave me these nichelle ladonnas

ugh she's just so real. i hope she continues to make faces like this until she's most likely robbed at the merge (i've learned to accept this) 💔

6. it gave me rajbow conflict

i love these two so much. and even though it is painful to see, i love the internal struggle bowie in particular is having in regards to cheating to win challenges. bowie used to like winning no matter what. lying didn't matter. but now that he's dating raj and likes dating raj, he's really beginning to question his own morality. it's so interesting to me. i love, love, loveeee these types of plots.

and 7. it gave me one of the funniest total drama moments to ever exist

yes. ripaxel.

funnily enough, i got spoiled on ripaxel. (thanks random redditor that didn't use spoil tags! 🙂) but still, i found myself in absolute hysterics over the kiss. like. laughing-crying hysterics. everyone's expressions. both ripper and axel's strange standards. it was genuinely so cute yet so funny. ripper and axel together are like. idk. people say they're like duncney but i'm thinking more scottney if anything. freaking hilarious. i love this show so much.

honestly if the ep didn't eliminate emma the way they did, it would be one of my favs of all time. but alas.
