Very much agree and I know we all want to move past this, but since the discussion of different laws came up I'd also just like to include that different places have different ideas of who is and isn't considered a minor. Most places have the cutoff somewhere between 16-21, and while I don't know where Riako is from, 17 very well could be considered an adult in legal terms.

The only reason I bring this up btw is because the original anon that made the accusations made a big deal about Ilovecows being 17, and IF anything was going on thats still awful obviously, but legality and morality can get very blurry in these situations.

Iirc, Riako is German. I could be beyond wrong, and maybe I'm mixing him up with another dev, but you'd be right.

Although, again, in my opinion, despite it being 'legal' in his country of origin (if it is Germany - 16), its still weird, incredibly weird. It doesn't help that, even in countries where the 'adult age' is 16, plenty of people admit that its weird, and should be bumped to 18, just like in America.

God forbid someone talks to somebody in a chat room. Since people are throwing awful accusations out I'll put my two cents here.

Anon still hasn't given a lick of proof that Riako made any out of line comments towards Ilovcows. We can all clearly see Ilovecows was pretty out there, but thats their problem, not Riakos. It's obvious he and the mods did something since Ilovcows was banned.

"Riako is a groomer and pedophile look at the comments this other person made" is an awful argument and frankly makes me sick. People have been making these serious accusations out of nowhere and with no feasible evidence to point towards such claims. Yes, grooming doesn't have to be sexual but there STILL isn't anything in these screenshots or on Ilovcows account that points towards Riako grooming them. A great example of ACTUAL grooming with ACTUAL evidence is the Colleen Balinger situation. She clearly groomed a child into working for her and made sexual comments towards minors. If anyone is confused about the extents of grooming and pedophilia, or is wondering what it looks like when something like this actually happens, I recommend looking into that case. Of course not all cases look the same, but the evidence in that case shows textbook situations that may be difficult for people, especially children, to notice at first, especially given power dynamics. Looking at actual grooming vs what anon claims to be grooming by Riako just shows how far anon is stretching to try and stir up shit about Riako. And to then claim pedophilia without literally ANY proof is absolutely disgusting.

All of this feels way more like a personal attack against Riako than someone that is actually concerned for the people on site, and I definitely don't like it.
