Thinking about how much Sokka idolized his father, even though he left him and his sister alone with too much responsibility, time and time again. Thinking about how he based so many of his decisions upon making his father proud, and gaining his approval. Thinking about Sokka growing up and having a child of his own, loving and protecting them with his whole heart, and wondering how a parent could have left their child in such a dangerous world for years. Thinking about Sokka’s child becoming a teenager but still seeming so young and small, making Sokka realize how much of a child he was when his father left the responsibilities of an adult on his shoulders.
Thinking about how Sokka’s relationship with his father will inevitably erode with time…

hey man. if youre complaining about the actors in the borderlands movie being "too old" for the roles. i wanna remind you that in the trailer alone, for a bl1 based movie, hyperion is branded yellow and white instead of red and black, tina is the same age shes supposed to be in 2, krieg has escaped hyperion when jack isnt even supposed to be ruling yet, and fuckin. mouthpiece from bl3 was there. just off the top of my head. i could find more lore inconsistencies if i tried
frankly i think the only issue with the casting is how many of them are zionists and the fact that theyre trying to make roland a comedic character played by kevin hart when hes supposed to be the straight man. like. come on. roland is the only even slightly normal one out of the first games vault hunters (i really dont care that much at the end of the day, thats just my main gripe besides the zionism)

Random joel thoughts but do y'all think he took Sarah to see Finding Nemo and it hit him harder than he thought it would because like Marlin he is also a single father doing his best with a child he'd do anything for. Sarah is far from being an uncapable child but do u think that Joel ever wonders if he is a bad father because he works so much and so he buys her a small goldfish so something can keep her company when he can't.

“Sorcerers who’ve been practicing and perfecting their craft for literal years are humiliated and outdone by a young pretty white girl who was magically born with all the powers the rest of them had to work for” has got to be the worst trope in fantasy movies.
